Living To Please The King

What brings about the favor of the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD)?

There is no plainer way to answer this question, than to consider the two queens, who were married to the King of Persia.

The first queen was Queen Vashti, who made a feast with her own friends, instead of feasting with the King of Persia (Esther 1:5-9).  Then the King of Persia commanded Queen Vashti, to be in the presence of himself, and his advisers, but Queen Vashti refused to obey his command (Esther 1:10-12). The King of Persia asked his advisers, what to do about a queen, who was not living to please the king (Esther 1:13-15).  One of his advisers, said that the queen had to be punished, for her refusal to obey his command, otherwise, the queen of every home throughout Persia, would stop living to please the king of their home (Esther 1:16-18).  So the King of Persia, put out Queen Vashti from the royal city, and a search was made for a new queen, who would show what it means, to be living to please the king (Esther 1:19-22).

After this, the search began for a new queen, who would show what it means, to be living to please the king (Esther 2:1-4).  Among those brought in to compete for the position of the new Queen of Persia, was Esther, who obtained favor with the keeper of the unmarried women, because she showed, that she would be living to please the king (Esther 2:7-9).  Each unmarried women went to the king, on her wedding night, so he could determine, who was living to please the king (Esther 2:12-14).  When Esther went in on her wedding night, she only wore what pleased the king, and proved that she was living to please the king, so the King of Persia made her the new Queen of Persia (Esther 2:15-17).

Later, Queen Esther was told of a plot, to get the King of Persia to destroy her people, throughout his kingdom (Esther 4:7-9).  Queen Esther was concerned, about appearing before the king uninvited, because he had not seen her in thirty days, and she would be killed for doing so, unless he held out his golden scepter (Esther 4:10-12).  Queen Esther was told, that she had been made queen to save her people, so she decided to go before the king uninvited, and hoped that he would show her favor, because she had been living to please the king (Esther 4:13-16).

So Queen Esther appeared before the King of Persia, in the presence of his advisers, and he held out the golden scepter for her to live, because he knew, that she had been living to please the king (Esther 5:1-2).  When the king asked her, what he could do for her, she invited him, and the man, who plotted to destroy her people, to eat at the feast, that she had prepared for the king (Esther 5:3-4).  After the king ate the food, that had been prepared because it pleased him, he asked Queen Esther, what he could do for her, a second time (Esther 5:5-6).  Then she invited the king, and the man, who plotted to destroy her people, to come, and eat the food that pleased the king, the next day, when she would make her request known (Esther 5:7-8).

The next night, Queen Esther again ate the food that pleased the king, with the King of Persia, and the man, who plotted to destroy her people (Esther 7:1).  When the king asked for her request this time, she asked him, to save her people, and her, from the plot of the man, who ate with them (Esther 7:2-6).  So the king destroyed the man, who plotted to destroy her people (Esther 7:7-10).

Esther then appeared before the King of Persia uninvited, for a second time, to ask him to put an end to the plot, to destroy her people, and he again held out his scepter to her (Esther 8:3-6).  Then the king sent out his word, to destroy those, who came against her people (Esther 8:7-13).  So her people were saved, from those who sought to destroy them (Esther 9:1-16).  Then the Feast of Purim was established, to remind everyone, that Queen Esther had brought salvation to her people, because she had been living to please the king (Esther 9:17-32).

So Queen Vashti lost favor with the King of Persia, because she had been living to please herself.  This is why, she did not seek to have the King of Persia to eat with her, and why she did not obey his commandment, even though she lived in the house of the king.  As a result of her actions, she was thrust out from the presence of the king.  The key to losing favor, was living to please herself.

On the other hand, Queen Esther won favor with the King of Persia, because she had not been living to please herself.  This is why, she wore what pleased the king, why she did what pleased the king in sex, and why she sought out the king, to eat the food that pleased the king, with the king.  As a result of her actions, she was exalted in the presence of the king.  The key to gaining favor, was living to please the king.

This story is about more than just two Queens of Persia, who lived long ago.  It is about a pattern, that echoes throughout the ages.

The stubborn rebellion of Queen Vashti against the commandment of the King of Persia, was like witchcraft and idolatry against the Father of Truth, that caused her to be rejected as queen (1 Samuel 15:23).  The seeking out of Queen Esther, to do what was pleasing to the King of Persia, is what caused her to be chosen as queen (Proverbs 17:2).

It is the same with the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan Aka The Devil) and the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ).

The Father of Lies lost favor with the King of the Universe, because he was living to please himself (Isaiah 14:12-14).  This is why, the Father of Lies rebelled against the commandment of the King, even though he lived in the house of the King (Ezekiel 28:13-15).  As a result of his actions, he was thrust out from the presence of the King (Ezekiel 28:16-17).  The key to losing favor, was living to please himself.

The Man of Truth won favor with the King of the Universe, because he was not living to please himself (John 5:30).  This is why, the Man of Truth did what pleased the King, even to the point of dying on the cross (Philippians 2:5-8).  As a result of his actions, he was exalted in the presence of the King (Philippians 2:9-11).  The key to gaining favor, was living to please the King.

Since the Man of Truth gained favor with the King of the Universe, the King sent out His Word, to destroy the sin, that came against his people (Acts 10:36-43).  So his people were saved, from the sin that sought to destroy them (Romans 11:26-27).  Then the feast of communion was established, to remind everyone, that the Man of Truth had brought salvation to his people, because he had been living to please the King (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

It is the same with us.  You will either be like Vashti or like Esther.

If you are like Vashti, you will do whatever pleases yourself, even if you are living in the house of the King.

If you are like Esther, you will eat what pleases the King, with the King (1 Corinthians 10:16-21).  If you are like Esther, you will wear what pleases the King (1 Timothy 2:9).  If you are like Esther, you conduct yourself in sex, in a way that pleases the King (Hebrews 13:4).

It is this way for everyone, for the King does not show favoritism to anyone (Romans 2:5-11).

Everyone will lose favor with the King of the Universe, if they are living to please themselves (Matthew 7:21-23).  This will be why, they will rebel against the commandments of the King, even though they are living in the house of the King (2 Peter 2:18-22).  As a result of their actions, they will be thrust out from the presence of the King (Revelation 22:11-15).  The key to losing favor, is living to please yourself.

Everyone will win favor with the King of the Universe, if they are living to please the King (John 12:26).  This will be why, they will do what pleases the King (Romans 6:16-18).  As a result of their actions, they will be exalted in the presence of the King (Revelation 22:3-5).  The key to gaining favor, is living to please the King.

Since the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) gain favor with the King of the Universe, the King sends out His Word through them, to destroy the sin, that comes against other people (Mark 16:15-16).  So other people are saved, from the sin that seeks to destroy them (James 5:20).  Then the marriage supper of the Lamb will be established, to remind everyone, that the Children of Truth have brought salvation to others, because they were living to please the King (Revelation 19:6-9).

When you come into the House of Truth, you stop living to please yourself (Matthew 16:24-26).  When you come into the House of Truth, you start living to please the King, because you believe that He raised the Man of Truth from the dead (Romans 10:9).  When you come into the House of Truth, the Father of Truth will help you, to continue living to please the King (Philippians 2:12-15).

Come into the House of Truth!

The Revelation

Is the book of Revelation too hard to understand?

When I was growing up, people shunned reading the book of Revelation. They said, that the few parts that they could understand, were very scary, but most of it, was simply too hard to understand.  For many of them, the book of Revelation was so hard to understand, that they believed, that nobody should even read it, because whatever they concluded, was certain to be wrong.  There was a fear of somehow offending the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD), or becoming a false teacher, if anyone even tried to explain the book of Revelation.  For this, some even referred to the book of Revelation, as "The Forbidden Book".

However, the book of Revelation says, the exact opposite.  It is the only book in the entire Book of Truth (The Bible), that promises a blessing for reading it, and acting upon what it says.  It makes this promise at the beginning of the book (Revelation 1:3).  It repeats this promise at the end of the book (Revelation 22:7).  It is entirely unreasonable, in the light of these blessings for reading, and acting upon, the words in the Revelation, to believe that the book of the Revelation, is too hard to understand.

The Revelation is just as much a part of the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament), as the Gospels, the Acts, and the Epistles.  All of these sections contain prophecies about future events, even though in the Renewed Covenant, the Revelation contains the bulk of these prophecies.  The Father of Truth gave the Revelation, so the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) could understand the future.

The Revelation was given, so that the Children of Truth could understand, what would come upon the Earth suddenly, in the last days (Revelation 1:1).  This is particularly important, if you have had dreams and visions about a future full of terrifying things, that will come upon the Earth in rapid secession.  The book of Revelation can help you understand what you saw, for it was written to be understood.  It is like a bell tower, that crowns a well built house, called the Renewed Covenant, whose massive bells are sounding out its alarm: "People get ready!".  The book of Revelation was meant to be understood, by the Children of Truth.

The fact is, that the book of Revelation is not too hard to understand.  You can understand it correctly, by doing the same things, that you do to understand any other book in the Book of Truth.  If you will apply the principles for rightly dividing the Word to the book of Revelation, then you will be able to understand what it says.  It is especially important to realize, that the Revelation was never meant to stand alone, but that it consolidates, builds upon, fills in details, and sequences, many future events found in the books of the Prophets.

The Book of Revelation follows the pattern of any other prophetic writing in the Book of Truth.  It starts off with the historical circumstances of when it was written.  Then it gives some short term and medium term prophecies to establish reliable witnesses, that the message came from the Father of Truth.  Then it gives some long term prophecies. In other words, John the Jew (Yochanon be Zebedee aka The Apostle John) wrote down the things that he saw, the things that were in his day, and the things that would come afterwards (Revelation 1:19).

The historical circumstances of when it was written are as follows.  It was a message given to John the Jew, to give to seven congregations of Asia (Revelation 1:4).  This message was given to John the Jew, when he was exiled on the island of Patmos, for telling people the Good News (Revelation 1:9).  These seven congregations were each known by the city where they were located (Revelation 1:11).

John the Jew saw the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ), who had died, and rose again, so the Children of Truth could rule with him (Revelation 1:5-6). He was "in the Spirit" on the "Lord's Day", when this happened (Revelation 1:10).

John the Jew saw the Man of Truth, coming with clouds, as the one the Jews had pierced (Revelation 1:7).  The Man of Truth was walking among seven "candlesticks", with hair like wool, and a fire that burned within him (Revelation 1:13-15).  The Man of Truth held seven stars in his hands, a sword came out of his mouth, and he shined as bright as the Sun (Revelation 1:16).

Although it would take a thick book, to apply the principles for rightly dividing the Word of Truth, to the entire book of Revelation, we will apply those principles to this part, to improve our understanding of these historical circumstances, and to show how applying these principles, make the Revelation understandable.

There was a Roman providence called Asia, that existed in western central Turkey, from 133 BC to about 393 AD.  The seven, mostly Gentile, congregations were each in seven actual cities in the Roman providence of Asia.  So these seven congregations that he wrote to, existed in his day, similar to how most of the Epistles were written to actual congregations, in actual cities that existed, when those epistles were written.

The island of Patmos, is just off the coast of Turkey, near ancient Ephesus, the first city listed, and the Roman Emperor Domitian exiled people to this island, from the time when he started his campaign to force people into a universal Roman religion in 90 AD, until his death in 96 AD, when all were pardoned, and Patmos ceased to be an island of exile.

The Man of Truth had literally died, and rose again, to reign (Romans 14:9).  This made it possible for the Children of Truth, to literally reign with him (2 Timothy 2:12).

John the Jew was praying in tongues when he had this vision, which Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) said, was speaking mysteries, by the power of the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost), that could only be revealed by the Father of Truth (1 Corinthians 14:2).  So John was producing the sound of power when he was "in the Spirit".  The "Lord's Day" was what the Sabbath was called at this time, as proven when you search out the Book of Truth and history, to find out who changed the Sabbath to Sunday.

The seven "candlesticks" were seven menorahs, seven branched candelabra, like the one prescribed in the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law).  This is evident, when you dig deeper than the surface, and observe that the Greek word, "lychnia", translated as "candlestick", is the same Greek word in the Septuagint (Greek translation of The Original Covenant (Tanakh aka The Old Testament) made around 200 BC), for the Hebrew word "menorah", (the seven branch candelabrum of the Tabernacle), in the Masoretic Text (Hebrew composite text of The Original Covenant made around 1000 AD).  It is worth noting that the Hebrew word "menorah", is also translated as "candlestick" in this passage.  In fact, Greek word, "lychnia" is used throughout the Septuagint, for the Hebrew word "menorah".  So the Man of Truth was walking among seven menorahs.

The Man of Truth had hair like wool, and fire was inside him, similar to how Daniel had seen, the Father of Truth with hair like wool, and fire issuing out from Him (Daniel 7:9-10).  The Man of Truth was coming with the clouds, showing that he was the Messiah of Israel, to whom the Father of Truth would give reign over the entire Earth, forever (Daniel 7:13-14).  The Man of Truth was coming as the Messiah of Israel, who was the same as the Father of Truth, that the Jews pierced (Zechariah 12:10).  So the Man of Truth was being identified as the Messiah of Israel.

The Man of Truth shined like the Sun, as he had done, when he had shown John the Jew, who he really was, on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-2).  The Man of Truth had the Word of Truth, coming out of his mouth, that is symbolized as a sword (Ephesians 6:17).

The Man of Truth himself explained, that the seven stars represented the "angels of the seven churches", and that the seven menorahs represented the congregation in each of the seven cities (Revelation 1:20).

A little more study makes it plain, what is meant by "the angels of the seven churches".

The pastor (shepherd) responsible for orchestrating all vocalizations in a synagogue, (including the singing, the playing of music, the reading of scripture, the teaching, and the preaching) was called, "the angel of the synagogue", because the Hebrew word for "angel", literally means "messenger".  There was another pastor responsible for taking care of the building, the grounds, handling the finances, and the like for the synagogue, who was called, "the chief of the synagogue".  In a small congregation, a single pastor would carry out both responsibilities, so "the angel of the synagogue" referred to him in these cases.  In a large synagogue, there could be multiple pastors, who carried out different aspects of each role.  In these cases, "the angel of the synagogue" referred to the head pastor, who had overall responsibility for the various vocalization duties, even when he delegated most of these duties to others.  The same was true of the chief of the synagogue.

This was continued by the Children of Truth at this time.  In fact, the only Greek word used in the Renewed Covenant, for the building where the Children of Truth congregated, is "synagogue".

Even the word "pastor", did not originally come from a Greek word, coined by the Apostles of Truth, for the leaders of the congregations in the Renewed Covenant.  The word "pastor", originally came from a Hebrew word, used by the Prophets of Truth, for the leaders of the congregations in the Original Covenant.  This is verified by the same Greek word being used in the Septuagint, for the Hebrew word in the Masoretic Text, translated as "pastor".

So "the angels of seven churches" is the angel of the synagogue, who is the head pastor responsible for the message given in the synagogue, where each of these seven congregations met on the Sabbath.

So when we apply these principles, we understand this passage in this way:

John the Jew was on the island of Patmos, shortly before the death of Emperor Domitian, for preaching the Good News.  While he was praying in tongues there, on the Sabbath, the Messiah of Israel appeared to him.  The Messiah of Israel, who had died and rose again, came to show that all of the Children of Truth, including the Gentiles, would reign with him, forever.  The Messiah of Israel then told John the Jew, that he had a message for the congregations of seven cities, in the Roman providence of Asia.

Then John the Jew saw the Messiah of Israel, was walking among seven menorahs, and holding seven stars.  The Messiah of Israel then showed John the Jew, that he was the same Man of Truth, whom John the Jew had seen on the Mount of Transfiguration, by shining like the Sun, again. The Messiah of Israel also showed John the Jew, that he was the one, who spoke the Word of Truth, by a sword coming out of his mouth.

The Messiah of Israel then explained, that the seven stars were the angels of the synagogue, who were responsible for delivering messages to each of those seven congregations, and that the seven menorahs represented the mostly Gentile congregations, that met in the seven cities, of the Roman providence of Asia.

So we could say that this passage shows very much, that it's a Jewish thing to be following the Man of Truth.  It also includes messages for the Gentile Children of Truth as well, because it has always been about the Gentiles.  So the book of Revelation is not too hard to understand, it just takes more effort, than skimming over the surface.

While it is not practical, to go into this kind of detail, in applying these principles to the remaining 21 chapters of the book of Revelation, we will give a brief overview of the rest of the Revelation, to establish a framework, to provide a basic understanding.

Next, the book of Revelation gives some messages that were short term prophecies, about the congregations, that came to pass shortly after John the Jew left Patmos, and delivered the message to each congregation.  These messages were also parallel medium term prophecies, that came to pass in less than three hundred years time, where something similar happened to each city, where the congregation was located.

For example, in the congregation of Thyatira, there really was a woman, who the Man of Truth called "Jezebel", who he was going to kill, along with her children, both her literal children, and her spiritual children, who followed her false doctrine, for teaching people to have sex outside of marriage, and eating things offered to idols, unless she repented (Revelation 2:18-23).  This obviously happened, or else John the Jew would have been shown to be a false prophet, and the Revelation would not have been preserved in a book in the Book of Truth.

For example, the city of Philadelphia was destroyed by earthquakes numerous times, prior to the delivery of this message, but has not suffered a single earthquake, after the Man of Truth promised, to make the congregation there into a pillar (source of stability), even until this day, almost two thousand years later (Revelation 3:7-12).

There is another application to all of these messages to these congregations, for every congregation of the Children of Truth, is usually in a state similar to one of these seven congregations.  The collected congregation of a nation can be thought of as being in the state, that the majority of the congregations in that nation are in.

For example, the church of China is seeking, to send more than a million missionaries across the Muslim area, between China and Jerusalem, with the expectation, that at least one hundred thousand of them will be killed, just so Muslims will have a chance to hear the Good News, and come into the House of Truth.  They are obviously, in the "church of Philadelphia" phase, because that is brotherly love.  It should be equally obvious, that the church in America is in the "church of Laodicea" phase, where the Children of Truth are more concerned about getting bigger, better, newer stuff, than carrying out the Great Commission, commanded by the Man of Truth (Revelation 3:14-17).

So these messages to these seven congregations, are about more than just these seven congregations, that really existed in seven literal cities, in the Roman providence of Asia.  Consistent with the pattern of the Prophets of Truth, this section covers the entire age, from the time of John the Jew until the start of the time of the long-term prophecies, that make up the rest of the Revelation.  These prophecies that start with the Tribulation, begin to unfold, after John the Jew being is called up to Heaven, to meet the Man of Truth in the air (Revelation 4:1-2).  This fits the often repeated pattern throughout the Book of Truth, where the Father of Truth lifts people above the area of judgment, before beginning the judgment, because He does not take collateral damage.

It probably would take a year of blog posts, to over all of the details that are given in the Revelation, about the Tribulation.  In the Revelation, this period of time called the Tribulation, starts after John the Jew was caught up in the air, to be with the Man of Truth, and continues until the Man of Truth returns to the Earth, with the Children of Truth (Revelation 19:11-19).  About three quarters of the Revelation is concerned about the events of the Tribulation.

I will however, touch upon a few things, to demonstrate how applying the principles for rightly dividing the Word of Truth, can make any part of the Revelation understandable.

The Revelation of the Tribulation begins with a vision of four horsemen, that people sometimes call the four housemen of the Apocalypse.  (Apocalypse is another name for the Revelation.)

These four horsemen are not hard to understand at all, because the Revelation tells you exactly what the judgment associated with each horseman.  The first horseman is the Man of Lies (The Antichrist aka The Beast) going out to conquer the world (Revelation 6:2).  The second horseman is a world wide war (Revelation 6:4).  The third horseman is a global famine, that is so terrible, that it takes all that someone earns in a day, just to buy enough food to feed that person, for that day (Revelation 6:5-6).  The fourth horseman is death, followed immediately by Hell, that will come upon one fourth of the human race, as a result of war and famine (Revelation 6:8).

So if you put these together, in the order that they appear, using the interpretation of each horseman given in the Revelation, then these judgments are logical and obvious.  The Man of Lies goes out to conquer the world, resulting in a world-wide war.  The world-wide war, brings about a world-wide famine.  One fourth of the human race, dies as a result of the war and famine, and goes to Hell, because they are not part of the Children of Truth.

This is so easy to understand, if you simply go with the interpretation, that the Revelation gives.  It takes a religious professional to make this vision hard to understand, by either trying to "spiritualize" the entire vision, or by applying some sort of other interpretation, like one from a "Hebraic perspective", or some sort of private "Holy Spirit revelation".

The Revelation of the Tribulation ends with the judgment of the two Babylons.

The first Babylon is the mystery religion system, that had its origin in Babylon under Nimrod, that gave birth to all other idolatrous religions, as plainly indicated in the Revelation (Revelation 17:1-5).  This religious system is responsible for killing the Children of Truth, both before the Man of Truth came to the Earth, and after the Man of Truth came to the Earth (Revelation 17:6).  This religious system is headquartered in a city, that sits on seven hills (Revelation 17:9).  This religious system is headquartered in the city, that ruled over the greatest empire on Earth, when John the Jew saw the vision (Revelation 17:18).

The first Babylon is destroyed by the Man of Lies and his allies (Revelation 17:16).

The second Babylon is a literal city named Babylon, where the mystery religious system, that caused people to commit spiritual fornication through idol worship, was started by Nimrod (Revelation 18:2-3).  The allies of the Man of Lies will be in anguish over the destruction of this great city (Revelation 18:9-10).  This great city will be the greatest commercial center on Earth (Revelation 18:11-19).  This city will be wiped off the face of the Earth, because it is place where the chain of events, that lead to every act of violence in the name of religion, and for gaining wealth, throughout the history of the human race, started (Revelation 18:21-24).

The second Babylon is destroyed by the Father of Truth (Revelation 18:5-8).

It is obvious, to anyone who looks at the facts given, that these are two different Babylons, that are located in two different places, that are centers of two different things, and are destroyed by two different sources.

The first Babylon is a religious system, started in Babylon, that had moved its headquarters to Rome, the city of seven hills, that ruled over the greatest empire on Earth, when John the Jew saw the Revelation.  The Romans got their religion from Mithraic Mysteries, which came to them from Babylon, via the Persians.  The False Church of Rome has continued these practices through things like Ash Wednesday, and the Satan Clause, to this day.  The False Church of Rome is headquartered. on one of the famous seven hills of Rome, to this day.  Anyone who looks at this passage objectively, can see that the Man of Lies and his allies, are going to destroy the False Church of Rome, towards the end of the Tribulation.

The second Babylon is a literal city, that will occupy the same place as the city, that Nimrod built, to turn the human race away from the Father of Truth, after the flood (Genesis 10:8-10).  This city will be the capital city of the kingdom of the Man of Lies, which is why he is called, "The King of Babylon" (Isaiah 14:4-6).  The massive walls of ancient Babylon, that Saddam Hussein spent billions rebuilding, so that a great city can arise there overnight, that stand to this day, will be completely destroyed, and never seen again (Revelation 18:20-21).  Anyone who looks at this passage objectively, can see that the Man of Lies is going to cause the ancient city of Babylon, to again become the greatest city on Earth, and the Father of Truth is going to destroy it completely, towards the end of the Tribulation.

The Tribulation ends, when the Man of Truth cast the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan Aka The Devil) into the Abyss for a thousand years (Revelation 20:1-3).  The Jewish people will finally submit to the Man of Truth in total surrender.

Then the Man of Truth, and the Children of Truth, will rule over the Earth during those thousand years (Revelation 20:4-6).  The entire world will experience peace, and prosperity, in the aftermath of the Tribulation.

At the end of those thousand years, the Father of Lies will be released from the bottomless pit, so he can expose everyone, who resents living under the rule of the Man of Truth (Revelation 20:7-8).  Everyone of them will be destroyed from the face of the Earth, and everyone who did not come into the House of Truth, will be cast into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:9-15).  It will be the end of all trouble!

Finally, those who came into the House of Truth, will live with the Father of Truth forever, in a New Heaven and a New Earth (Revelation 21:1-7).  The New Jerusalem will be the city, where they live with Him, and the Man of Truth (Revelation 21:9-23).  The Children of Truth will rule with the Father of Truth, and the Man of Truth, forever (Revelation 22:1-5).  It will be the day of new beginnings!

No wonder, John the Jew ends the Revelation, by saying, "Bring it on!", and admonishing the readers, to stay in the House of Truth (Revelation 22:20-21)!

So the book of Revelation is not too hard to understand.  In particular, it is not too hard to understand, the main message of the Revelation, that everyone should come into the House of Truth, and stay in the house!

The Revelation is not scary to those, who have come into the House of Truth (Luke 21:26-28)!  You come into the House of Truth, when you surrender to the Man of Truth, because you believe that the Father of Truth, raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  You will then understand, that the Revelation tells you about the blessed hope, of those who come into the House of Truth (Titus 2:11-14)!

Come into the House of Truth!

Love Triangle

When is a love triangle a good thing?

A love triangle is when two people are in love with the same third person.  It is a common situation in soap operas, other dramas, and comedies.

A love triangle almost never ends well.  Sooner or later, someone gets hurt.  In most cases, the third person ends up forced to choose one of the people over the other one.  In some cases, the two people find out about each other, and work together to get revenge on the third person.  A love triangle is almost never a good thing.

An example of a famous love triangle in real life, was that of Jacob (Ya'acob), Rachel (Raquel), and Leah.  Jacob wanted to marry Rachel, but was tricked into marrying her sister Leah instead (Genesis 29:20-25).  None the less, Rachel still wanted Jacob, and Jacob still wanted her, so he married her also (Genesis 29:26-30).

This did not work out well at all.

Leah felt unloved, even though she gave Jacob four sons (Genesis 29:31-35).  Rachel became jealous of the attention that Jacob gave to the sons of Leah, so she began to blame Jacob for her lack of children, who protested, that he had done his part, and was obviously not the problem (Genesis 30:1-2).  So she had her maid marry Jacob, to produce children on her behalf, who gave Jacob two more sons (Genesis 30:3-8).  Leah, thought two can play at this game, so she also had her maid marry Jacob, to produce children on her behalf, who gave Jacob two more sons (Genesis 30:9-13).

Soon afterwards, Rachel sold her night with Jacob to Leah, for some mandrakes (which were believed to make a woman more fertile) that her oldest son had found (Genesis 30:14-15).  This lead to Leah giving Jacob another son (Genesis 30:17-18).  Then Leah gave Jacob another son and a daughter (Genesis 30:19-21).

Finally Rachel, gave Jacob a son, and stopped feeling ashamed about not giving Jacob sons, like her sister Leah had (Genesis 30:22-24).  Years later, Rachel gave Jacob one more son, but died in child birth (Genesis 35:16-20).

This love triangle turned out like most love triangles.  Most love triangles end up creating life long heartache, that ends in tragedy.  However, there is one case, where a love triangle is a good thing.

You see, my wife and I are both in love with the same man.  In fact, we both love this man, more than we love each other.  Our being in love with this man, has only made our marriage stronger.  Our marriage has endured trials, that would have shattered most couples, because of this love triangle.

Really, it is a double strength triangle.  There is love flowing in both directions on each side.  We are in love with each other, and this other man is in love with both of us.  This only strengthens the bond between us, because the more we become in love with this man, the more we become in love with each other.  It is only because we are in love with this man, that we have chosen the path of true love.

If this man, was just an ordinary man, then our love triangle would be sick and twisted.  However, when you are in love with this man, you do not behave like you were married in Sodom, while claiming, "My DNA made me do it".  Instead, when you are in love with this man, he gives you something, that is better than sex.

This is because, the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) is no ordinary man.  He can love many people perfectly, at the same time.  He is the very definition of love.  In fact, as a couple becomes more in love with the Man of Truth, they begin to become more in love with each other.  Every couple needs to be in this love triangle!

The Man of Truth has shown that he is in love with us.  This man is so in love with us, that he both died and rose again, so that nothing could separate us from his love (Romans 8:34-35).  This man is so in love with us, that he gave himself over to crucifixion, to die in our place (Galatians 2:20).  This man is so in love with us, that he died that most horrible of all deaths, so we could be made clean enough, to be with him (Ephesians 5:25-27).  This man is so in love with us, that he washed away our filth, with his own blood, so that we could reign with him forever (Revelation 1:5-6).

How we show, that we are also in love with the Man of Truth, is also different than, how we show that we are in love with any other person.  When we are in love with this man, we keep his commandments (John 14:15).  When we are in love with this man, we keep his commandments, so that he will show himself to us (John 14:21).  When we are in love with this man, we keep his commandments, so that we can live in his love, and be filled with joy (John 15:10-11).  When we are in love with this man, we keep his commandments, so that we can be his friends (John 15:14-15).

When you are in love with the Man of Truth, you will learn to love other people as he does.  When you are in love with this man, you love other people, as much as you love yourself (John 13:34-35).  When you are in love with this man, you love other people so much, that you will lay down your life for them (John 15:12-13).  When you are in love with this man, you keep his commandments, so that you can love other people, as much as he does (John 15:17).

When you are in love with the Man of Truth, you learn how to love your spouse.

When a man is in love with the Man of Truth, he does not seek after a divorce.  When a man is in love with this man, he does not divorce his wife, for any reason other than sexual sin (Matthew 5:31-32).  When a man is in love with this man, he does not seek to separate from his wife, whom the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) has joined to him (Matthew 19:3-6).  When a man is in love with this man, he does not have a hard heart, that seeks after a divorce, unless his wife is committing sexual sin against him (Matthew 19:7-9).  When a man is in love with this man, he does not commit adultery against his wife, by divorcing her, and marrying another woman (Mark 10:11).  When a man is in love with this man, he does cause another man to commit adultery, by marrying his wife, after he divorced her (Luke 16:18).

When a woman is in love with the Man of Truth, she does not seek after a divorce.  When woman is in love with this man, she does not commit adultery against her husband, by divorcing him, and marrying another man (Mark 10:12).  When woman is in love with this man, she does not marry another man, unless her husband has died (Romans 7:2-3).  When woman is in love with this man, she will only marry a man, who is also in love with man, if her husband has died, so she can be part of a love triangle (1 Corinthians 7:39).

When a couple is in love with the Man of Truth, they do not use the nuclear option to create a confusing situation, where people are asking, "Whose wife is she?".  When a couple is in love with this man, they do not divorce each other, but rather reconcile with each other, to keep their love triangle (1 Corinthians 7:10-11).

When a man or woman is in love with the Man of Truth, but their spouse is not, they still do not seek after a divorce.  When they are in love with this man, they do not seek after a divorce, just because their spouse is not in love with this man also (1 Corinthians 7:12-13).  When they are in love with this man, they remain in their marriage, so they can cause their children to fall in love with this man, and perhaps, cause their spouse to fall in love with this man as well, so that they can have a love triangle (1 Corinthians 7:14-16).

When a couple are in love with the Man of Truth, it shows up in the bedroom.  When a couple is in love with this man, they do not deny each other sex, when one of them is in need of sex (1 Corinthians 7:2-4).  When a couple is in love with this man, they do not abstain from sex with each other, in order to spend more time with the Father of Truth, unless they both agree, and then they resume having sex with each other (1 Corinthians 7:5).  When a couple is in love with this man, they care about pleasing each other (1 Corinthians 7:33-34).  When a couple is in love with this man, they put the needs of each other first, above even the needs of their parents, so they can join their bodies together (Ephesians 5:31).

When a couple is in love with the Man of Truth, they keep their marriage in the order, that he established.  When a couple is in love with this man, the man is submitted to this man, and his wife is submitted to him (1 Corinthians 11:3). [The Greek words translated as "man" and "woman" in this passage, are the same Greek words translated as "husband" and "wife" in other passages, and that would really be a better translation in this passage.]  When a couple is in love with this man, the man loves his wife as himself, and the woman always shows respect to her husband (Ephesians 5:33).

When a couple is in love with the Man of Truth, they show that their marriage, is in the order, that he established, by paying attention to what is on their heads, when they pray.  When a couple is in love with this man, the man, the husband does not pray with his head covered, because that shows disrespect to this man, and the woman does not pray with her head uncovered, because that shows disrespect to her husband (1 Corinthians 11:4-7).  When a couple is in love with this man, the woman either wears a veil, or long hair that serves as a veil, when she prays, and the man does not wear long hair, that serves as a veil, when he prays (1 Corinthians 11:13-15).

When a woman is in love with the Man of Truth, she submits to the desires of her husband.  When a woman is in love with this man, she recognizes, that her husband has authority over her, in every area of life (Ephesians 5:22-24).  When a woman is in love with this man, she does whatever her husband asks her to do (Colossians 3:17-18).  When a woman is in love with this man, she loves and obeys her husband (Titus 2:4-5).  When a woman is in love with this man, she will even obey her husband, who is not in love with this man, so that he might fall in love with this man, without her saying a word about this man, so they can be in a love triangle (1 Peter 3:1-2).  When a woman is in love with this man, she will beautify herself with a submissive spirit to her husband, instead of hairstyles, clothing, and jewelry, even to the point of calling her husband, "Lord". (1 Peter 3:3-6).

When a man is in love with the Man of Truth, he takes care of his wife.  When a man is in love with this man, he will give his life, to take care of his wife (Ephesians 5:25-27).  When a man is in love with this man, he will take care of the body of his wife, just like he takes care of his own body (Ephesians 5:28-30).  When a man is in love with this man, he will love his wife, and not be bitter against her (Colossians 3:19).  When a man is in love with this man, he will honor and guard his wife, because she is his partner, in carrying out his mission in life (1 Peter 3:7).

Of course, you cannot be part of a love triangle like this, until you fall in love with the Man of Truth.  You must come into the House of Truth, through a supernatural birth, to fall in love with this man (John 3:3-8).  You will not fall in love with this man, until you realized, that His Father loved you so much, that He gave this man, His only begotten Son, to die a horrible death in your place, so you could come into the House of Truth (John 3:14-17).  You will come into the House of Truth, and fall in love with this man, so much that you surrender control of your life to this man, when you believe, that his Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  After you and your spouse have both come into the House of Truth, then you will both be in love with this man, forming your own love triangle (Galatians 3:26-28).

Come into the House of Truth!

Rightly Dividing The Word

How can you understand the Book of Truth (The Bible) correctly?

If you ask two religious professionals what some passages in the Book of Truth mean, you will frequently get three answers.

Their answers may not really make much sense, and just create more questions.  Two conflicting answers might both seem to be correct, but you know that they cannot both be correct.  They both cannot be right, but they both can be wrong.

At other times, the religious professionals do not really know the answer to your question either, but they are just repeating what they heard in cemetery (seminary) school.  It apparently seems better to them to do this, than admit that they do not know the answer either.

Looking on the internet for answers, frequently makes things worse.  You will usually find people, who are repeating, whatever the religious professional that they are being taught by, teaches.  Then you find other people, who have some really complicated answers, usually citing something besides the Book of Truth in their explanation, to often simple questions.  Soon you can find yourself drowning in a sea of answers, but still unable to determine which one, if any of them, is right.

Fortunately, there is a solution to this problem.  You can read and understand the Book of Truth for yourself.  All you need to do, is learn how to rightly divide the Word of Truth, as Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) instructed Timothy the Jew (Timotheus aka The Apostle Timothy) to do (2 Timothy 2:15).

The first rule to rightly dividing the Word of Truth is: If the plain sense makes sense, then seek no other sense, so you do not end up with nonsense.

For example, The Book of Truth says, "You shall make no idols" (Leviticus 26:1),  The plain sense meaning, that "you shall make no idols", is what is meant by "You shall make no idols".  There is nothing mysterious, or hard to understand, as long as you do not try to interpret, "You shall make no idols", to mean something other than what it plainly says.  If you look for some other sense, to apply to "You shall make no idols", then you will end up with nonsense.

The second rule to rightly dividing the Word of Truth is: A text taken out of context becomes a pretext for a proof text.

People often take the text of a verse, or even part of a verse, out of context, as a pretext, that this text is proof of what they are teaching.  This is done in several ways.

The first way that people take a text out of context, is to quote only part of a verse, and not even consider the context given by the rest of the verse.  For example, I have heard preachers say, that the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) promised to heal His Children, and prevent them from getting sick, by quoting Him saying, "I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.".  They use this text to prove, that the Father of Truth will protect His Children from disease, regardless of what they do.

However, if you read the entire verse, then it states if His Children will obey the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law), then He will do this for them (Exodus 15:26).  So when you take the text in the context of the verse that it is in, it shows that the promise to heal and protect from sickness, is conditional upon obedience to the Law of Truth.  The fact is, that there is not a single unconditional promise in the entire Book of Truth.  If you look at all of the promises in context, you will find, that they are either promised, because of some action that has already happened, or for some performing some action in the future.

The second way that people take a text out of context, is to quote a verse completely, without considering the context, of the passage that contains the verse.  For example, the verse that says "Judge not, that you be not judged" (Matthew 7:1).  This verse is frequently taken out context by people, usually as proof, that no one has a right to rebuke them for sin.  Ironically, they often judge those who rebuke them for sin, as sinning by being judgmental.

Anyone who reads the entire passage, that the verse is in, and follows the first rule, of just reading the plain sense of the passage, will immediately see that the point of the verse, was not to rebuke those, who rebuke other people for sin.  The point of the passage was, for people to be sure to first remove the sin from their own lives, before rebuking others for the sin in their lives, so that they do not also fall under the judgement of the Father of Truth (Matthew 7:1-5).  The fact is, that no one can escape being judged by the Father of Truth for their sin, by refusing to tell others, that they are sinning.  If that was the case, then the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) died for nothing, because people could have their sins overlooked by the Father of Truth, by overlooking the sins of others.  Instead, the Book of Truth says, that not rebuking other people for their sin, is the worst kind of hatred.  When you see other people sin, it is time for some tough love.

The third way that people take a text out of context, is to not consider the historical and cultural context, in which the verse was given.  This is more often done out of ignorance than arrogance.  For example, the verse that says, "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:26).  This a case, where the plain sense meaning is obviously not the correct meaning, because it contradicts the commandment to love other people as yourself.

Anyone who does a little study, to determine the historical and cultural context, will come to understand this verse, as the Man of Truth intended for it to be understood.  This was not spoken by a twenty-first century American, to a group of twenty-first century Americans.  This was spoken by a first century Jew, to a group of first century Jews.  As such, they would have understood that "hate" in this context, means "to put at a lower priority", because that was a common first century Jewish expression.  Trying to apply a literal meaning to "hate" here, makes as much sense as applying a literal meaning to the expression, "raining cats and dogs".   It was a common first century Jewish expression of priority, to contrast the thing with higher priority, to the thing with the lower priority, by saying that you love the first thing, and hate the second thing.  Now that the historical and cultural context is understood, the verse can be rightly understood as saying, "If any man come to me, and does not put a lower priority his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."  In other words, if you are going to follow the Man of Truth, he must have a higher priority in your life, over everyone and everything else.

So in order to rightly divide the Word of Truth, you need to consider context of any text, that you find in the Book of Truth.  You have to consider the context of the verse it is in, the passage that it is in, and the historical and cultural context that it occurred in.

There is one more way, that people take a text out of context.  That will be covered in the next rule for rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

The third rule to rightly dividing the Word of Truth is: Consider the whole counsel of the Father of Truth.

This is what Paul the Jew did, when he preached the Good News to the Gentiles (Acts 20:25-27).  It is the foundation of both the Original Covenant (Tanakh aka The Old Testament), written by the Prophets of Truth, and the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament), written by the Apostles of Truth, that causes the Children of Truth, to be the dwelling place of the Father of Truth (Ephesians 2:19-21).   It was studying all of the Book of Truth, not just the Renewed Covenant, that allowed Timothy the Jew to be able to rightly divide the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 3:15-17).  Peter the Jew (Cephas aka Simon aka Simeon aka The Apostle Peter) testified, that the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) dictated the entire Book of Truth, to the people who wrote it down, and that it was more reliable, than any experience that people might have (2 Peter 1:19-21).  Peter the Jew used the entire Book of Truth, to remind the Children of Truth, what their faith is based on (2 Peter 3:1-2).

This means that the Torah is just as relevant today as the Gospels.  This means that the Writings of History are just as important as the Acts.  This means that the Children of Truth need to read the Writings of Wisdom as much as they need to read the Epistles.  This means that it is in no way a waste of time to study the books of The Prophets.

In other words, the Original Covenant and the Renewed Covenant are the inseparable covenants, that together form the everlasting covenant, that is contained in the indestructible book, that I call the Book of Truth.  The Renewed Covenant is like a well built house, that is built at the top of a tree of wondrous strength, called the Original Covenant.

This being the case, then it should be obvious that before you can consider the whole counsel of the Father of Truth, that you have read the entire Book of Truth.  If you read three chapters a day, for six days a week, and also read five chapters, on the remaining day of the week, then you will read the entire Book of Truth in a year.  I always recommend, that people read the entire Renewed Covenant, and then read the entire Original Covenant, the first time they read the entire Book of Truth, so they do not end up putting the cart before the horse.

Of course, no one has a true eidetic memory, so you will have to read it at least twice. (I once read a US government report, that reported that the best eidetic memory, that the US government ever found, was eighty-eight percent retention.  A true eidetic memory would be one hundred percent retention.)  However, even if you did have a true eidetic memory, then you would still need to read the Book of Truth frequently, because your understanding grows each time you read it.  The Book of Truth reads you, when you read it, because it is a living thing (Hebrews 4:12).

Now this may seem like a daunting task, but it does not mean, that you cannot start getting the whole counsel of the Father of Truth, until you have read through the Book of Truth twice.  There are tools that can help you do this, even if you have never read through the Book of Truth once.  Online tools like Bible Gateway are particularly helpful, in finding the original context of quotes from the Original Covenant, that are used in the Renewed Covenant.

For example, where Paul the Jew uses the expression, "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated." (Romans 9:13).  This verse is often used as a proof text, for the idea that the Father of Truth predestined some to life, and others to death, regardless of what they do, but is that what this verse is really saying?

First of all, the Father of Truth commands, that people do not show favoritism to other people, but to judge everyone, based on their actual actions (Leviticus 19:15).  Paul the Jew, himself, had already said that there is no respect of person with the Father of Truth, so that all people would live or die based on their actions (Romans 2:10-12).  Paul the Jew also wrote, that all who do what the Father of Truth calls wrong, will suffer for doing what is wrong, because there is no respect of person with the Father of Truth (Colossians 3:25).  So the point of Paul the Jew in making this quote, could not have been that the Father of Truth was showing love to Jacob, regardless of his actions, while showing hate to Esau, regardless of his actions.

Secondly, the Father of Truth takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but would rather have them turn from their wicked ways, so they could live (Ezekiel 33:11).  The Father of Truth has been holding back judgment for centuries, because He is not willing that any should perish, but desires that all people come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).  So it is not reasonable, when you consider the whole counsel of the Father of Truth, that He would contradict His very nature, by predestining Esau, or anyone else, to suffer in Hell, regardless of what they did.

So considering the whole counsel of the Father of Truth, that is found when you examine the entire Book of Truth, excludes the idea that this verse, is talking about the Father of Truth loving some people, regardless of what the do, while hating other people, regardless of what they do.  So what is Paul the Jew talking about in this verse?

It will help things become more clear, if we examine the place in the Original Covenant, that Paul the Jew is quoting.  Paul the Jew is quoting Malachi the Prophet of Truth, who says, that Jacob was loved, but Esau was hated, for their wicked deeds, which cause the Father of Truth to have indignation against them (Malachi 1:2-4).  This is not Esau the individual, or Jacob the individual, but rather their descendants.

In particular, the wickedness of Esau that caused the Father of Truth to have indignation against him, was plundering and killing those of the two-tribe kingdom of Judah, who had escaped the hand of the Babylonians, when Jerusalem was destroyed, instead of helping them, because they belonged to Jacob, the brother of the Esau, who started the nation of the Edomites, so that the descendants of Esau would suffer punishment, for their actions (Obadiah 1:9-15).  This is the very opposite of saying the Father of Truth showing favoritism, by loving Jacob, regardless of his actions, and hating Esau, regardless of his actions.

The meaning of this verse should be clear, by examining it in the context of the passage, that it is written in.  Remember, that to love one and hate another, is a Jewish idiom, for giving higher priority over one than another.  Jacob was given higher priority over Esau, before they were born, in that the younger would be given the birthright and blessing, instead of the elder, which was the usual custom of men, to show that the Father of Truth is in control of all things (Romans 9:11-13).

In fact, this entire passage is about, how the Father of Truth does not show favoritism, to those who are born Jews, by blessing them, regardless of their actions (Romans 9:4-8).  The Father of Truth can show mercy on anyone who repents, and can bring judgment on anyone, who persists in resisting Him (Romans 9:14-19).  The Father of Truth will destroy both Jews and Gentiles, who make themselves fit for destruction, by persisting in doing things that He calls evil, but will have mercy on both Jews and Gentiles, who come into the House of Truth (Romans 9:22-24).  The Father of Truth will save, both the remnant of Jews, and any Gentiles, who do what He says is right, and destroy the rest, who do what He says is wicked (Romans 9:25-29).  The point of the passage is, that because the Father of Truth does not predestine people to life or death, then any Gentile, like a descendant of Esau, who comes into the House of Truth, will inherit life, while any Jew, who does not come into the House of Truth, will inherit death (Romans 9:30-33).

The truth is, that the answer to "Who's your daddy?", determines your actions.  The answer to the question, "Whose child are you?", is shown by your actions.  What are you saying, when you are say that some are predestined to life, regardless of their actions, while other are predestined to death, regardless of their actions?  Where did you get that idea?

So considering a text, in the context of the whole counsel of the Father of Truth, that is contained in the Book of Truth, is essential to rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

The fourth rule to rightly dividing the Word of Truth is: Use scripture to interpret scripture.

Similar expressions, events, patterns and images are used in the text of different books inside the Book of Truth.  These texts are often explained, if there is anything at all mysterious about them, the first time that they appear in the Book of Truth.  The Book of Truth itself usually interprets the things in these text itself.  It is usually obvious from the explanation, (or lack of need of an explanation), whether the text is meant to be figurative, or literal.  Once the original text is initially interpreted, then the interpretation can be used to interpret any other text, that contains similar expressions, events, patterns, or images.  This is using scripture to interpret scripture.

For example, the expression that a man "knew" a woman.  The first time that this expression is used, is about Adam knowing Eve (Genesis 4:1).  The context found in the verse, makes it plain, that the interpretation of "knew", when used of a man knowing a woman, is to have sex with her, because Eve became pregnant, once Adam knew her.  So we can be certain, that when the text says, that Joseph did not know Mary, until after the Man of Truth was born, that it means, that Joseph did not have sex with Mary, until after the Man of Truth was born (Matthew 1:24-25).

In the same way, similar events, have the same interpretation.  In Egypt, there was such scarcity of wheat and barley, that people literally ended up giving all of their wages and livelihood, just to have food to eat (Genesis 47:13-25).  A similar event happens in the Revelation, where it says, that in the future, people will end up giving all of their wages and livelihood, just to have food to eat (Revelation 6:6).  ["Penny" here means the minimum wages earned in a single day.  A measure of wheat and three measures of barley, are both the amount of food needed for a single day.]  Since the events are similar, we can be sure that the famine in Revelation, is just as literally bad, as the one in Genesis.  There is nothing mysterious about this event, that requires some sort of special anointing, or Hebrew mindset, to understand.  This is verified in the passage itself, where it makes it plain, that many people will die from hunger, due to this event (Revelation 6:5-8).

In like manner, similar patterns, can be understood by applying the same interpretation to them.  The Man of Truth compares the beginning of the Tribulation, when he will be revealed, to only two other events: the flood of Noah, and the destruction of Sodom (Luke 17:26-30).

In order to understand the pattern of deliverance with respect to the Tribulation, we must first examine the pattern of events, that brought about deliverance to Noah and Lot, with respect to the disasters of the Flood, and the destruction of Sodom.

Noah was lifted above the destruction, that came upon the Earth, when the destruction began (Genesis 7:17-19).  Lot was taken out of Sodom, and told to go up the mountain, where he would be above the destruction, that would come upon Sodom (Genesis 19:15-17).  So the pattern is, that the righteous are lifted above the area of destruction, at the beginning of the destruction.  This same pattern applied to John the Jew (Yochanon ben Zebedee aka The Apostle John) when he went to Heaven, where the Man of Truth was revealed, which announced the beginning of the Tribulation, before he began to see the destruction, that would come upon all of the Earth (Revelation 4:1-2).

The pattern of these events is, that the righteous are lifted above the area of judgment, just before the judgment of the Father of Truth begins.  The repeated pattern throughout the Book of Truth, shows that the Father of Truth does not take Collateral Damage.  The Man of Truth confirmed this pattern, as applying to the Rapture, when he said, that those were worthy would escape the entire Tribulation, that would bring destruction to the entire Earth, and instead stand before him, like John the Jew did (Luke 21:34-36).  His confirmation, that the Rapture follows this pattern, of the righteous being taken off the Earth, before the destruction begins, shows that people need to heed the warning of "People Get Ready!".

Finally, similar images can be understood, by having the same interpretation applied to them.

For example, the king of Babylon had a dream, where he saw a statue of man, made of four types of metal: gold, silver, brass, and iron, that represented four successive kingdoms, with his kingdom being the first (Daniel 2:31-40).  Then during the reign of the next king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream where saw four different beasts rise up out of the sea: a lion, a bear, a leopard, and a beast of iron, that represented the same four successive kingdoms (Daniel 7:1-17).  Then two years later, Daniel had a vision, where saw a ram, that represented Persia, the kingdom that would succeed Babylon, and a goat that represented Greece, the kingdom that would succeed Persia (Daniel 8:20-22).  So the lion that Daniel saw in his first dream, represented the Babylonian Empire, the bear represented Persian Empire, and the leopard represented Greek Empire.

So when John the Jew saw a beast rise up out of the sea, that had the mouth of a lion, the feet of a bear, and the body of a leopard, that beast represented an empire, that will have the same strengths as the Babylonian, Persian, and Greek Empires, and control the same territory, that those empires controlled (Revelation 13:1-2).

The fifth rule to rightly dividing the Word of Truth is:  Sometimes you have to go deeper than the surface.

Sometimes, a verse or passage, is just not making sense, or even seems to contradict other verses, or passages.  Sometimes the plain sense does not make sense, because of an a cultural expression that you are not familiar with, is being used.  Some times, you may look at the same verse or passage in two separate translations, to get a better sense of the intention of the author, but discover that the two translations are at odds with each other.  At times like this, you have to go deeper than the surface.  Most gold comes from a lot of digging.

The first step is, ensure that you start with a good translation.  Translations, where the translators did not stick to the words in the original documents, are not hard to spot, if you know what to look for.  There is one disturbing sentence added to Mark 7:19 in many translations, that is not in any original language document.  This causes people to come to the wrong conclusion, so that the Father of Truth would say, "I did not mean that", if they asked Him about it.  In like manner, it is important that the translators translated the Renewed Covenant from Koine Greek documents, because except for the Gospel of Matthew, Koine Greek is the language of the Renewed Covenant.

The next step is begin looking into the passages, in the original languages.  You can be certain that the Father of Truth has preserved documents in the original languages, through the ages, because the Word of Truth is the incorruptible word of the Father of Truth.  This is not an insurmountable task, thanks to modern tools that are at your disposal on-line, at sites like Blue Letter Bible.  You do not have to master ancient languages, like Biblical Hebrew and Koine Greek, to dig down into the original languages.  You can digger deeper using this heavy machinery, instead of shovel.

This heavy machinery includes an on-line version of Strong's Concordance, which was so well done, that Eliezer ben Yehuda used it in his efforts, to bring Hebrew back from the dead.  This concordance will give you the possible meanings of various Biblical Hebrew and Koine Greek root words, to help you improve your understanding of the verse it is in.  (Root words are like English verbs in their basic form, before being manipulated for tense and the like.  For example, "be" is the root word of "was", "were", "are", and "is".)  For example, the Greek word translated as "Easter" in Acts 12:4, has a root word of "Pascha", which means "Passover".  This completely changes the understanding of what holiday the Children of Truth observed in the first century.

You can also get easy access to helpful study material like Thayer's Lexicon, Matthew Henry's Commentary, the explanations of first century Jewish culture by Edersheim, and the like.

This heavy machinery even includes source documents, like the Textus Receptus and the Greek New Testament, for the Renewed Covenant.  It also includes similar source documents, like the Masoretic Text and the Septuagint, for the Original Covenant.  The Septuagint is especially helpful, because it was translated from Biblical Hebrew to Greek, about 200 years before the Man of Truth was born, by people who spoke Hebrew every day in their own community, and who spoke Greek every day outside of their own community.  Often the Greek word they chose, may have more than one possible meaning, while the Hebrew word they were translating, also may have had more than one possible meaning, but there is only possible meaning that the Greek and Hebrew words share.  This gives a very precise definition of the Hebrew word, in the place where it was translated, although you do have to be able to read Biblical Hebrew, and Koine Greek, to understand that precise meaning.  Fortunately, this has already been done for you, in many cases, in the previously mentioned helpful study materials.

Lastly, sometimes it helps to go outside of the Book of Truth completely, to get useful information about the historical and cultural context of things, found in the Book of Truth.  For example, the writings of Josephus, give excellent insight to not only first century, Jewish, Greek and Roman cultures, but also into many historical events that preceded the time of the Renewed Covenant, including events found in the Original Covenant.  There is also valuable insight in other historical writings, like those of Herodotus, Tacitus, Pliny the Elder, Pliny the Younger, some of the early "church fathers",  and the like.  Archaeological publications, like Biblical Archaeological Review, can also be very useful.

Even the writings of the Rabbis can be useful, but you have to use caution.  Their writings often consists of a mix of useful and accurate historical information, false doctrine, and fables.  It helps to have a thorough knowledge of the Book of Truth, before ever examining this source for explanations, because you will have to be able to distinguish between the useful information and the lies.

The Man of Truth warned us to be careful of the doctrine of the Pharisees, whom all Rabbis today came from (Matthew 16:11-12).  He called them liars, who refused to believe the Word of Truth (John 8:43-45).  Paul the Jew wrote that we should avoid their fables, and pay no attention to their commandments, because those things are designed to turn people away from the truth (Titus 1:14).

In other words, when using Rabbinical sources, you must be care not to be lead astray by their Rabbinic Distort of the truth.  Some of their writings will even try to convince you, that they have the missing books of the Bible, as if the Father of Truth allowed some of the books, to get lost for centuries.  So use this source of information with extreme caution.

The sixth rule to rightly dividing the Word of Truth is: Sometimes there is more than one meaning.

Some passages and verses plainly have a literal meaning.  Some are plainly figurative.  However, often a passage will have more than one meaning.  In fact, every story in the Original Covenant points to the Man of Truth in some manner.

For example, Abraham (Abram) was literally told to cast out Hagar and her son from the camp, because in Isaac (Yitzakh) was his seed to be called (Genesis 21:10-12).  Yet this entire episode was also an allegory. about trying to be saved by keeping the Law of Truth, instead of being saved by trusting in the Man of Truth (Galatians 4:24-31).

There can even be two meaning in the same passage.  For example,  Ezekiel is obviously talking about the human King of Tyrus in the beginning (Ezekiel 28:1-10).  Yet, Ezekiel is also talking about the Father of Lies, who empowered the King of Tyrus (Ezekiel 28:11-19).

So be careful to not limit a passage to only saying something on one level.  There are at least five levels of depth to some passages.  The main thing to keep in mind is, that these deeper levels of understanding will never contradict the overall message of the Book of Truth, that can be understood at the most basic level, but will only deepen that understanding, and reinforce it.

The seventh rule to rightly dividing the Word of Truth is:  When in doubt, ask the Author.

It is impossible to see the deeper meanings of the Word of Truth, or even get the surface meaning correct, on human effort alone.  It takes the Spirit of Truth, to correctly understand the Word of Truth (1 Corinthians 2:13).

The Spirit of Truth was given to guide the Children of Truth into all truth (John 16:13).  The Spirit of Truth is the author of the Book of Truth (2 Peter 1:20-21).  So if you are in doubt, ask the Author.

For example, I was raised to give the Father of Truth one day a week.  I did everything that I knew to do, and there was no doubt about whose Sabbath I was keeping.  For this reason, I was never bored on the Sabbath.

I was observing the Sabbath on Sunday, and it seemed that I had good authority to do so.  I had read, that the Children of Truth in the Renewed Covenant took up their offerings on the first day of the week (1 Corinthians 16:2) .  I had read about, how John the Jew had worshiped on the Lord's Day (Revelation 1:10).  I knew, that Sunday was called the Lord's Day on some calendars, and that it had been called that on Greek calendars, since 150 AD.

However, as I read the Renewed Covenant more, it just did not seem quite right somehow.  It seemed like, I was doing all of the right things, on the wrong day of the week.

So I visited congregations that met on Saturday, about one ever three months, over a period of about ten years.  I gave them my verses from the Renewed Covenant, and asked them to show me in the Renewed Covenant, why the Father of Truth had not moved the Sabbath, from Saturday to Sunday.  Not one single religious professional, or member, of any of these congregations, could show me from the Renewed Covenant, why I was wrong about these two verses, that made it looked like the Sabbath had been moved, from Saturday to Sunday.  They did, however, give me a lot answers, that were similar to ones that I had heard people use, to defend Christmas and Easter.  The main difference was, that they were substituting in "The Sabbath" for "Christmas", in what was pretty much the same arguments.  (Things like, "it is what our leader teaches", "it is our tradition", "it is in the Renewed Covenant somewhere" and the like.)

Finally, I asked the Spirit of Truth, to show me from the Renewed Covenant, why the Sabbath had not been moved, from Saturday to Sunday.  The Spirit of Truth guided me in digging deeper, starting with reading the text of these two verses, in the original Koine Greek language.  This raised more questions, but the Spirit of Truth guided me in using the internet, to find reliable resources, to give me the answers, to all of my questions.  In one hour, the Spirit of Truth had done, what more than twenty Saturday congregations had not been able to do, over a period of ten years.  When that hour was over, I knew that the Sabbath was still Saturday, and I knew who changed the Sabbath.

It was the Spirit of Truth, that had prompted me to start doubting what I believed, in the first place.  It was the Spirit of Truth, who lead me to the truth, that was written in the Book of Truth, when no one else could.  When in doubt, ask the Author.

If you have come into the House of Truth, then the Spirit of Truth lives in you (Romans 8:9).  The Spirit of Truth will bear witness of the truth, when you are studying the Book of Truth (1 John 5:6).  You just have to learn how to listen.

It helps you listen tremendously, if you have been baptized in the Spirit of Truth, so that you start producing the sound of power.  When the Spirit of Truth is putting words in your mouth, then it is easier to hear what the Spirit of Truth is saying.

Of course, rightly dividing the Word of Truth, serves no purpose, unless you come into the House of Truth.  When you come into the House of Truth, then you will be given the Spirit of Truth, who will tell you, that you are a Child of Truth (Romans 8:14-16).  You will come into the House of Truth, when you make the Man of Truth your lord, because you believe the Word of Truth, when it tells you that his Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).  Unless you first come into the House of Truth, you will never be able to study enough, to rightly divide the Word of Truth, and come to understand the truth (2 Timothy 3:6-8).  The Word of Truth is only of value, when you believe its message, and come into the House of Truth (Hebrews 4:2).

Come into the House of Truth!
