One Day A Week

Why is it necessary to give an entire day each week to congregating for religious services?

Until I was twelve, it was illegal for any store to be open on Sunday, and for any work, except that necessary for the preservation of life, such as nurses at hospitals, to be performed on Sunday in Washington County, Arkansas.  There were no exceptions provided for anyone that dissented, and believed that a different day, like Saturday, was the Sabbath even though this exception existed in other counties of Arkansas at the time.

This law in Washington County was the same as the Arkansas state law that had been crafted in 1889 by J.N. Tillman.  When that law was repealed in 1965 and replaced with a law that allowed each county to decide Sabbath laws for itself, Washington County retained the original law that J.N. Tillman had crafted.  J.N. Tillman was from Washington County and had stated that the purpose of no exceptions for religious dissent was to drive anyone out of his county, particularly Seventh Day Adventists, which would not treat Sunday as the Sabbath, no matter how fine of a citizen and neighbor which they were otherwise.  He had been the one to shoehorn this no exceptions clause into the 1889 law while the state of Arkansas had originally intended to only provide a state wide day of rest to ensure that every person got at least one day a week off to rest and attend religious services.  They made Sunday that day because they referred to it as "the Christian Sabbath" and well over ninety-five percent of the populace treated Sunday as the Sabbath.

Arkansas was not unique in having a Sabbath law.  Every state in the United States had Sabbath laws also sometimes called Sunday laws (because they recognized Sunday as "the Christian Sabbath") or blue laws.  (They were called blue laws originally due to the blue paper the first ones were written on in Massachusetts but later in reference to the blue cloth used to cover items forbidden to be sold on Sunday in pharmacies).  In fact, Iowa was the first state to repeal state wide Sabbath laws in 1955 and North Dakota was the last in 1991.

The no exceptions clause of Arkansas was itself an exception to the Sabbath laws of most states in the United States.  Most states had exception clauses like those of the state of Texas which said that those who held a religious conviction that a different day was the Sabbath could observe that day instead.  In this exception clause no one could force someone else to work on whatever day they observed as the Sabbath.  The majority of dissenters to Sunday being the Sabbath observed Friday sunset to Saturday sunset as the Sabbath. (This was commonly referred to as the Jewish Sabbath even though many Christians observed it as well.)  In order to ensure that the religious liberties of everyone was respected most employers simply shut down their operations from sunset Friday (about 5 pm in the winter) until midnight Sunday.  This is where the idea of the weekend came from in America.

In like manner, there are additional holidays (a contraction of "holy days") like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Good Friday that were also treated like the Sabbath under the laws of most states until 1955.  On these special Sabbaths no one could operate a business or force anyone to work, except as necessary for the preservation of life, just like on the regular weekly Sabbath.  For this reason, employers also shut down their operations for major holidays.

These Sabbath laws had existed in America since the founding of each of the original thirteen colonies and the penalty for breaking the Sabbath even included death for repeat offenders in many of the colonies.  Some colonies adopted exception clauses not long after Jewish people immigrated into their colonies.  There were special Sabbath laws added by different colonies at various times as well.  The original colonists and Founding Fathers firmly believed that everyone should be given at least one day a week, occasionally more, to rest and attend religious services.  Where did they get the idea that from?

Like most good things in America it had its origins in the Book of Truth (the Bible).

The Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka The Lord) set aside a day of rest as soon as there was someone that would need rest (Genesis 2:1-3).  He restored the Sabbath when He gave the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) (Exodus 16:28-30).  The commandment to observe the Sabbath was so important that it was included in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:9-11).  Neither man nor beast was to work on the Sabbath (Exodus 23:12).  There was to be no work done on the Sabbath regardless of how much work needed to be done because it was the Sabbath (Exodus 34:21).  The penalty for working on the Sabbath was death because that ensured everyone would be given a day of rest without exception (Exodus 35:2).

The Father of Truth said that there was more than one Sabbath to be observed (Leviticus 19:30).  The regular weekly Sabbath was one of the Sabbaths (Leviticus 23:1-3).  The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah aka Shofarim) that fell on the first day of the seventh month was also a Sabbath no matter what day of the week it fell on (Leviticus 23:23-25).  The same thing was true about the Fast (Yom Kippur aka The Day of Atonement aka Judgment Day) (Leviticus 23:27-32).  So a Sabbath does not mean the seventh day.  So what defines a Sabbath?

A Sabbath is any day that the Father of Truth has told people to cease from their own regular activities to do what He wants them to do instead.  The Father of Truth said that all of His Feasts ("holy days" aka "holidays") were when the Children of Truth were to congregate together just like on the regular weekly Sabbath (Leviticus 23:2-4).  So on the first and seventh day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Matzah) no one was to do their regular work on that day but were to instead congregate together just like on the regular weekly Sabbath (Leviticus 23:6-8).  On the day of Pentecost (Shavuot aka the Feast of Weeks) no one was to do their regular work on that day but were to instead congregate together just like on the regular weekly Sabbath (Leviticus 23:16-21).  On the first and eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot aka the Feast of the Ingathering) no one was to do their regular work on that day but were to instead congregate together just like on the regular weekly Sabbath (Leviticus 23:34-36).  For this reason the first and eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles are each called a Sabbath (Leviticus 23:39).  Any day that the Father of Truth commands people to cease from their regular work and congregate together to meet with Him is a Sabbath.  So a Sabbath is a day set aside for resting and attending religious services.

So Sabbath means "Ceasing" - not "Seventh".

Does it really matter if people observe a Sabbath or not?  Do young people really need one day a week off?

Sabbath laws were given because people need a weekly day for resting and attending religious services along with occasional holidays throughout the year.  A 2011 study by the University of Missouri on the effect of repealing the Sabbath Laws on American teenagers and college students showed that their education suffered as well as their work ethic.

On the other hand, the cows in Israel produce almost twenty percent more milk than other cows.  It is not because they have developed some super breed of milk cow.  They are the same breeds used in Europe and America.  The difference is that they give their cows the Sabbath off.  In like manner, studies have shown that people who observe a Sabbath day outperform those who do not in the work place.

The Father of Truth said that the weekly Sabbath must be observed because working seven days a week means you are a slave to other people (Deuteronomy 5:13-15).  He made the Sabbath for the benefit of people (Mark 2:27-28).  He does not want the Children of Truth to be slaves to other people since the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) bought them with his own blood (1 Corinthians 7:23).

Can any work be done on the Sabbath?

The Man of Truth said it was in accordance with the Law of Truth to do what was necessary to preserve life on the Sabbath (Matthew 12:10-12).  The Sabbath is a day to carry out the purposes of His Father (John 7:22-24).

So these Sabbath laws were made to give all people one day a week (plus holidays) to rest and congregate together for religious services.  They had the necessary exceptions to ensure the preservation of life by allowing such work to be performed on the Sabbath that was needed for that day.

Is it necessary to give an entire day to congregating for religious services every week?

The Father of Truth commanded people to congregate for religious services on the Sabbath in the Law of Truth (Leviticus 23:3).  It was neglecting to giving an entire day to congregating for religious services on the Sabbath that eventually lead the nation of Israel into doing the things that brought about the His judgment upon them (Nehemiah 13:15-18).  The Man of Truth spent the Sabbath congregating for religious services in the synagogue (Luke 4:16).  Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) did the same thing (Acts 17:1-2).  The Children of Truth are also commanded in the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament) to spend the Sabbath congregating together for religious services in a place of assembly so they can help each other not waiver in their commitment to obeying Their Father (Hebrews 10:23-25).

When people do not devote an entire day every week to the purposes of the Father of Truth that time does not just disappear.  It gets devoted to other purposes such as the pursuit of money, sports or entertainment.  So effectively, whatever has replaced the Father of Truth in the time which should have been devoted to Him becomes an idol that they serve instead of Him.  It should be no surprise that sooner or later their money and talents will also go to those pursuits as well.  They will no longer be investing those things in His purposes so their hearts will no longer be in His purposes (Matthew 6:19-21).  Their hearts will then be turned from Him to whatever has taken the time, talent and treasure that should have been given to Him because they are no longer trusting Him with those things (Luke 12:29-34). 

Worse yet, the actors, sports figures, and the like that they have given these resources to are often the very ones working to promote a lifestyle that is contrary to His commandments!  At the same time, the Ministers of Truth are hindered from carrying out His purposes from a lack of finances and volunteers!  The Children of Truth must be careful to not fall into this trap that the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan aka The Devil) has set to build up his kingdom while hindering the kingdom of the Father of Truth from growing (2 Corinthians 2:11)!

So it is necessary to give an entire day each week to congregating for religious services.  There can be little doubt from looking at the evidence that such Sabbath observance helps to keep people minded to do what is right and to avoid doing what is evil.  The societal ills like children born out of wedlock, abortions, people killed by drunk drivers and the like that began to grow significantly when prayer was removed from public schools in the United States accelerated when the Sabbath laws were repealed in each state.

If this trend continues it can only result in The Death of America.  As in the case of gay marriage a minority subverted the will of the majority to repeal these Sabbath laws through A Subtle Influence.  The only hope that America has of survival is for the American Children of Truth to realize that today is A Time For Civil Disobedience.

Perhaps you realize that you should have been giving one day a week to assembling with the Children of Truth for religious services to help you grow closer to the Father of Truth and His Children.  Perhaps you realize that the Father of Truth no longer holds the place in your life that He once did since you stopped giving one day a week to assembling with the Children of Truth for religious services.  The Good News is that you do not need to wait for the law of the land to change for you to make a change in your life.  You can start giving one day a week to assembling with the Children of Truth for religious services this week if you will come into the House of Truth!

Those who live in the House of Truth will find a way to give one day a week to assembling with the Children of Truth for religious services if they will seek a way to do so from Him (Matthew 7:7-11).  The Father of Truth has promised to always give a means of escape from every temptation to those who live in the House of Truth (1 Corinthians 10:13).

If you come into the House of Truth then you delight in giving one day a week to assembling with the Children of Truth for religious services because you will start seeing the Father of Truth repair the things in your life that have been broken by sin (Isaiah 58:12-14).  You come into the House of Truth by giving control of your time, talents and treasures to the Man of Truth because you believe that His Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  When you come into the House of Truth you will find that the commandment of Father of Truth to spend one day a week assembling with the Children of Truth for religious services is not a burden (1 John 5:3).

Better Off Dead

When are people really better off dead?

Last week, I could have died on the operating table.   Although gall bladder surgery is pretty routine, and not usually dangerous, my gall bladder was anything but routine.  Instead of being about the size of my thumb, it was about the size of my fist.  I had suspected that I had a few gall stones, but not the thirty or so that was in it, when the gall bladder was finally removed.  The doctor told my wife, that it was by the grace of God, that it had not erupted already, and it would have surely erupted within a few days, if I had delayed the surgery.  The years of inflammation had created scar tissue, that was difficult to remove.  The doctor told my wife, that my gall bladder infection issues were literally killing me, and I would have died soon, if it had not been removed, even if it never ruptured.

I had not intentionally waited for things to get to this point, nor had I been neglectful.  I simply had been hindered over and over again from getting this fixed.  I have had pain for the last ten years, and I knew that I needed the operation for the last five years.  I have tried twice before to have it removed, but the operation was prevented from happening at the last minute each time by extremely unusual circumstances.  Since then, I have had issues obtaining adequate insurance, and other resources necessary to have this operation done.  Even this time, on two days before my operation, my sister-in-law slipped into a sudden and unexpected coma, before dying the evening before my operation.

It was like, there has been two forces at work over the last ten years.  One force was causing me pain, hindering me from ending the pain, and trying to kill me, so I could not find out the truth in the Book of Truth (The Bible), and then tell others.  The other force was sustaining me through the pain, and helping me to get relief, so I could be guided into the truth, that was in the Book of Truth, and then tell others.  The doctors and the like were just the players that this struggle was being played out through.

This operation had never been without risk.  The doctor made sure that I understood, that this procedure could go wrong, when I went to schedule my operation.  He then stressed even more strongly, just before the operation, that the Laparoscopic gall bladder removal (called a Cholecystectomy) could go wrong.  A paper was shown to me, right before the operation, with the three words written in black maker and large letters, to make sure that I understood, what could turn out to be the order of events: Cholecystectomy, Open, Death.  While they hoped that they could do things Laparoscopicly with a few holes, my gall bladder was very enlarged, and they may have had to open me up.  If so then, my recovery time would be considerably longer.  If my gall bladder erupted, or my liver was infected, or there was a bad reaction to the anesthesia, or any number of other things went wrong, then I would have died on the operating table. 

Needless to say, I did not die on the operating table.  Despite the desperate condition of my gall bladder, they were able to remove it Laparoscopicly with four holes.  The pain after the operation is negligible, compared to the pain I had been in for ten years.  Sometimes you just do not know what you have, until it is gone.

However, I knew before I went under, that I was not going to die on the operating table.  I had been discussing my condition with the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) for the prior three days.  I was in a lot of pain, particularly on the day before the operation, and could do little but lay in bed most of the day, for those last three days.

I did manage to write, what I thought might be my last post in this blog.  I had spent about three days prior to that, praying about what to write, because I knew it might be my final words to the world.  I wrote about the most important subject, that I thought people needed to hear, for the times we currently live in, called Walking In Truth.

During those six days before my operation, I came to understand that the Father of Truth was giving me a choice in this matter.  I could die while asleep on the operating table, or I could continue on this Earth for a while longer.  Before I went to sleep on the night before my operation, I had decided to continue on this Earth.  So the morning of the operation, I was very happy, and could hardly wait for it to be performed.  However, I would have also been very happy on the day of the operation, if I had decided to die on the operating table.

You see it was a hard decision for me to make.  The truth is I would be better off dead.

I am one of the Children of Truth (those who obey the Father of Truth because they love Him).  The Children of Truth are all literally, better off dead.  They live for the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ), and gain everything when they die (Philippians 1:21).  As long as they are present in their bodies, then they are not present with him, but the moment they leave their bodies, all of that changes (2 Corinthians 5:6).

They go to live with the Man of Truth, immediately when they die, even though they will be part of his kingdom headquartered at Israel, when he returns to the Earth to reign (Luke 23:42-43).  He is preparing a place for them, so that they can be with him forever in the New Heavens and New Earth (John 14:1-3).  This place, where they will dwell with him forever, will be the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:1-3).

The Man of Truth is coming back to rule the Earth, from Israel for a thousand years, before there are New Heavens and a New Earth, as explained in The End Of All Trouble.  Until he returns to the Earth to set up his kingdom, the Children of Truth go to where he is currently at, when they die.  Where is that?

When the Man of Truth left this Earth, he went up to Heaven (Luke 24:51).  The same Man of Truth, that the Angels of Truth said will soon come back to rule this Earth, is now in Heaven (Acts 1:9-11).  The one who Moses said, was coming and who people must obey, has returned to Heaven (Acts 3:20-22).  The paradise, where the Children of Truth go when they die, is now beyond the skies (the first heaven), beyond the stars (the second heaven), and in Heaven (the third heaven), where the Father of Truth lives (2 Corinthians 12:2-4).  The Children of Truth immediately go to live with the Man of Truth in Heaven, when they die!  They are better off dead!

As long as the Children of Truth are living in this world, they will have trouble (John 16:33).  They must go through much tribulation in this world, in order to be in the kingdom of His Father (Acts 14:22).  All of them will suffer persecution, as long as they live in their bodies (2 Timothy 3:12).  So when the Children of Truth die, all of the trouble that they experience in this world comes to an end.  They are better off dead!

Since the Children of Truth are better off dead, then why was it such a hard decision to make?  There is not an easier way to die, than doing so while asleep under anesthesia.  The next thing I would have known, was being in Heaven with the Man of Truth.  I want to be with the Man of Truth, more than I want my next breath.  What on Earth, could have caused me to decide to stay longer?

The best way to answer that question, is to look at another person, who was given the same choice, and see what caused them to stay longer.

Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) also found himself, where he had to decide whether to go home to be with the Man of Truth, or to continue on Earth, where he was certain to suffer more persecution (Philippians 1:20-22).  He chose to stay longer, because it was better for other people, so that their faith in the Man of Truth could be strengthened (Philippians 1:23-25).  It was a hard decision, because his love for other people, caused him to desire to stay on Earth, even though he would have been better off dead.

If Paul the Jew had decided to go ahead and leave, then he would have died a fairly quick death, by beheading, at the end of his house arrest (Acts 28:30-31).  If he had died at that time, then he never would have returned to strengthen the churches that he had started, as he had promised (Philippians 1:25-26).  If he had died at that time, then he would have never written his epistle to the Ephesians, along with his two letters to Timothy.  In short, if he had died then, he would be unable to help other people.  So even though he was better off dead, he chose to stay on Earth, for the benefit of others.

In the same way, if I had died on the operating table, then I could no longer strengthen others in their faith.  I never would have written any more posts in the House of Truth.  In short, if I died, then I would have been unable to help other people.  So even though I am better off dead, I chose to stay on Earth, for the benefit of others.

The Man of Truth made an even harder decision - that of leaving Heaven to come to Earth (John 3:13).  Then He had to decide, rather or not to die, by the brutal death of the cross.

He did not have to die on the cross, but rather had a choice.  He could have prevented his death easily (Matthew 26:53).  He chose to die (John 10:17).

Why would the Man of Truth chose to die a brutal death on the cross?

If he had not chose to die, then the plan of His Father laid out in the Book of Truth, could not have been fulfilled (Matthew 26:53-54).  He chose to die, because it was the will of His Father (Mark 14:36).  He chose to die on a cross, so we could understand what it really means, to be obedient to the Father of Truth (Philippians 2:8).

So the Man of Truth chose a brutal death on the cross, because it was the plan of His Father.  Still he must have gained something from fulfilling the plan of His Father, to make him believe that he was better off dead.  What did he gain from death, that was so valuable to him, that he was better off dead?

He died, so that he would not remain alone (John 12:23-24).   He could not have been the first to rise from the dead, to fulfill the plan revealed to Moses and the other Prophets of Truth, unless he first died (Acts 26:22-23).  This made the way, for the Children of Truth to be able to be reborn into his image, so that he could be the firstborn, among the many Children of Truth (Romans 8:29).  The Man of Truth died, so he could be the firstfruits, of those who rise from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:20).  He died to make peace between the Father of Truth and the human race, so that he could be the firstborn of those who died (Colossians 1:18-20).  His death made it possible, for people to be saved by coming into the House of Truth (Hebrews 5:7-9).  He endured the suffering of the cross, to the point of death, so that he could gain the Children of Truth (Hebrews 12:2)!

Our sin had separated us from the Father of Truth (Isaiah 59:2).  The Man of Truth died in our place (Romans 5:8).  His death made it possible, for people to come into the House of Truth, and end the separation from His Father (1 John 1:7).  It was either the Man of Truth, or us, and there was no way that he was going to let it be us!    He believed, that he was better off dead, than to live forever without us!

The truth is, that not everyone is better off dead.  You are not better off dead, until you come into the House of Truth.  Anyone who is not one of the Children of Truth, has good reason to be afraid of death.  Anyone who does not come into the House of Truth, before they die will, suffer everlasting destruction (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9).  Anyone who does not remain in the House of Truth, until they die, can only look forward, to facing a fearsome judgment in the court of the Father of Truth, after they die (Hebrews 10:26-27).  Anyone who does not come into the House of Truth, before they die, will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:15).   Anyone who does not come into the House of Truth, before they die, will end up in the Chamber of Horrors.  Anyone who does not come into the House of Truth, is not better off dead!

You come into the House of Truth, by surrendering control of every area of your life to the Man of Truth, because you believe, that His Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).  Now is the time to come into the House of Truth, because you do not know when you will die (2 Corinthians 6:2).  If you come into the House of Truth, then you will be better off dead.

Does the truth really matter?

Churches, synagogues and other places are full of people today who say that they are part of the Children of Truth (those who obey the Father of Truth because they love Him).  Yet they do not always tell the truth and they do not always live in accordance with the truth.

When someone is hurting some of them will tell a lie to take away some of the pain.  They know what they are saying is not true but they do not think of it as a lie since it is lessening the pain that someone else is experiencing.  If it lessens the pain of someone else and the one they helped never finds out that they were lied to then they think that telling "a little white lie" was the right thing to do.

Many of them tell their children that there is there is a jolly man in a red suit who knows when they are naughty and nice.  They then proceed to tell their children that this jolly man has a network of elves that help him create rewards for those children who are nice.  They tell their children that this jolly man lives at the North Pole with his elves and maybe a wife.  They tell their children that this jolly man goes all over the world in a single night to deliver presents in stockings, under trees and the like to those children who have been good.  They tell them that this jolly man might even deliver switches or coals or nothing for those children who have been bad.  They tell their children that this jolly man gets around by miraculous means like a sleigh pulled by eight tiny reindeer plus one in the front whose nose glows.  There is no truth about Santa Claus except that the entire story is just one lie built on top of another lie.  The worse part is that many of the congregations of the Children of Truth perpetrate this lie upon their own children with appearances of someone pretending to be the jolly man year after year.  They seem to not see any problem with lying to their children as long as it makes them more willing to obey their parents and the children get their toys.

In the Spring these same people perpetrate another fraud upon their children.  They tell them of a wondrous rabbit who hides eggs for them to find.   Sometimes this wondrous rabbit lays the eggs out in plain sight and prizes are given for collecting certain eggs or the most eggs.  Other times this wondrous rabbit hides the eggs in unusual places but there is still a collecting contest.  Sometimes people take turns playing the part of the wondrous rabbit and the egg collecting competition is repeated several times.  Yet it does not seem to strike the youngest of the children as odd that sometimes the eggs that the wondrous rabbit hides are decorated exactly the same as the eggs that they had helped decorate the night before the competition.  After all, their parents had told them about the Easter Bunny and their congregation, which stresses the importance of the Book of Truth (The Bible), is hosting the competition.  None of the adults seem to see any problem with lying to these children as long as the children are happy and all of them get chocolate rabbits, marshmallow eggs, and other candy treats along perhaps some other sorts of presents.

These people are so used to living in lies that it never even occurs to them that doing so is wrong.  After all, they have been assured observing things like Christmas, Lent, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and Easter are part of following the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) by the religious professionals.  The religious professionals tell them this year after year even though there is no such commandment in the Book of Truth to do so.  It does not seems so bad to these religious professionals that they are lying to their congregations since they are still getting some of the truth from the Book of Truth.

It does not seem to bother their congregants that the Man of Truth was born around the first April instead of December 25th as shown in When Was Jesus Born?  It does not phase them one bit that the Man of Truth could not have both died on Friday afternoon and rose at sunrise on Sunday AND ALSO have been dead for three complete days and nights like the Man of Truth said (Matthew 12:40).  These parents believe the lies perpetrated on them by religious professionals just like their children believed their lies.  Some of them are even more gullible than the youngest child because they believe The Greatest Fairy Tale Ever Told instead of the Book of Truth.

Yet others among the Children of Truth are taken in by a completely different set of lies.  They would never participate in anything like Christmas or Easter but they accept all kinds of lies told by religious professionals who call usually themselves "Rabbi".  They have been assured observing things like Rabbinical customs are part of following the Man of Truth by these religious professionals.  These religious professionals tell them this year after year even though there is no such commandment in the Book of Truth to do so.  It does not seems so bad to these religious professionals that they are lying to their congregations since they are still getting some of the truth from the Book of Truth.

It does not seem to bother their congregants that the Man of Truth said to not call anyone except him "Rabbi" (Matthew 23:8).  (Rabbi literally means "My Master")  It does not seem to phase them one bit that the Man of Truth called any Rabbi who does not recognize him as the one that Moses said they must obey "a blind guide" (Matthew 23:24).  They believe lies perpetrated on them by religious professionals just like those who believed the lies about Christmas and Easter.  Some of them are even more gullible than those who were fooled by Christmas and Easter because the Man of Truth told them to not accept the doctrine of those unbelieving Rabbis (who all trace themselves back to the Pharisees) as containing the truth instead of the Book of Truth (Matthew 16:12).

Yet these same people will look to the very books that contain the doctrine of these unbelieving Rabbis to give them guidance to understanding the Book of Truth.  They do not consider that Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) said that observing Rabbinical customs was totally worthless for following the Man of Truth (Philippians 3:4-8).  They do not comprehend that these Rabbinical customs are no better than the customs of Christmas and Easter!

Many of those who call themselves the Children of Truth will lie for cash regardless of whether they have been observing Christmas or Rabbinical customs.  They do not offer this service directly but rather indirectly.  They exaggerate their accomplishments and contributions on their resumes while seeking to hide any mistakes they may have made.  They make promises that they cannot keep to get people to buy their products or services.  They do not answer questions honestly in interviews but rather give the answer that is most likely to get them what they want.  (For example, if they are asked what their favorite book is they would not dare give "The Bible" as their answer or say that something like "The Gospel of John" was their favorite movie. (Unless such an answer is perceived as being helpful to their cause.))   They see no problem lying about the smaller details to obtain a job or get some business as long as the employer or customer is happy with the end results and they get paid.

After all, the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) understands that they must provide for their families even if it means telling a little white lie once in a while so that their needs will be provided for.  They are getting money so they can pay tithes and otherwise give to His causes.  This must be alright since the religious professionals have told them that He will bless them for giving Him this money no matter how it was obtained as explained in Giving To Get.

It might seem like telling little white lies and going along with small lies about seemingly unimportant issues to help people feel better, keep the peace in homes, make children happy, avoid controversy over religious customs, and gain financial prosperity is really harmless.  After all, no one should be denied their right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, right?

Is it really alright for the Children of Truth to tell little white lies and go along with small lies as long as nobody gets hurt?  Does the truth really matter?

The Father of Truth commands that His Children to be walking in truth (2 John 1:4).  When they are walking in truth then it shows everyone around them that they have the truth in them (3 John 1:3).  For this reason there is nothing that the Children of Truth can do to bring greater joy to Him than to be found walking in truth (3 John 1:4).

Walking in truth is so important that it was a condition of His promise to King David that one of his descendants would always be upon the throne of Israel (1 Kings 2:4).  He made this promise to King David because he had been walking in truth himself (1 Kings 3:6).

The Father of Truth added fifteen years to the life of King Hezekiah when he asked because he had been walking in truth (2 Kings 20:3-5).  He also turned back the enemy who had been sent to bring judgment on Judah because King Hezekiah had been walking in truth (Isaiah 38:3-6).

It is those who are walking in truth that will have no fear of judgment from the Father of Truth and who will not backslide when they are tested (Psalm 26:1-3).

However, walking in truth is something that the Children of Truth must learn how to do from the Father of Truth (Psalm 86:11).  No one starts walking in truth all by themselves.

Walking in truth comes from the source of all truth who is The Father of Truth.  Walking in truth is learned by following The Man of Truth.  Walking in truth becomes easier as the truth is learned by reading The Book of Truth.  Walking in truth becomes a habit over time with the help of The Spirit of Truth.  Walking in truth consistently causes the Children of Truth to fulfill The Law of Truth.

Those who are walking in truth will do what is right and speak only the truth so that they will live with the Father of Truth forever (Psalm 15:1-2).  The Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) is spoken by those who are walking in truth so that they may turn others from walking in lies (Malachi 2:6).

Walking in truth means not calling observations of things like Christmas that came out of idolatrous teachings a part of worshiping the Father of Truth (Deuteronomy 12:28-30).  Walking in truth means not calling observations that came out of Rabbinical teachings a part of following the Man of Truth (Galatians 2:12-14).

Walking in truth means only observing what is commanded by the Father of Truth (Deuteronomy 12:32).  Walking in truth means allowing the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaKodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) to assist in worshiping the Father of Truth (John 4:23-24).  Walking in truth means only allowing in our lives what the Man of Truth allowed in his life (1 John 4:17).  Walking in truth means changing our every practice, every habit and every word to be in accordance with the Book of Truth instead of trying to change it to justify our every practice, habit and word (Revelation 22:18-19).

Walking in truth means exposing every lie of those who handle the Word of Truth in a deceitful manner while demonstrating to others how to walk in truth (2 Corinthians 4:2).  Walking in truth means living life in a manner that is worthy of the Father of Truth (1 Thessalonians 2:11-12).

Walking in truth means that it is never alright to tell a little white lie or go along with a seemly small lie.  Every time someone lies they are in the darkness of walking in lies because they are not walking in truth (1 John 1:6).

Walking in lies comes from the source of all lies who is The Father of Lies.  Walking in lies is living like The Man of Lies.  Walking in lies comes from the influence of The Spirits of Lies.

Since all lies belong to the kingdom of darkness the Father of Truth does not want His Children to have anything to do with any lie whatsoever.  He does not want His Children living in the shadows - partly in the light of the truth and partly in the darkness of lies.

The Man of Truth came into the world so that the Children of Truth would not walk in the darkness of lies (John 12:46).  The Children of Truth should want nothing that is from the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan aka The Devil) in their lives so that they can be like the Man of Truth (John 14:30).  The Man of Truth sent forth the Apostles of Truth so that people could escape the darkness of lies by coming into the light of truth (Acts 26:15-18).  The Children of Truth are to cast off the darkness that comes from walking in lies and put on the armor of light that comes from walking in truth (Romans 13:12).  The darkness of walking in lies can never be friends with the light of walking in truth (2 Corinthians 6:14). 

Therefore the Children of Truth should not have anything to do with any lie so that the Father of Lies has no place in their lives (Ephesians 4:27).  They are to be walking in truth because they no longer belong to his dark kingdom (Ephesians 5:8).  They are to be walking in truth because they now belong to the kingdom of light (1 Thessalonians 5:5).  They are to be walking in truth because the Father of Truth has called them out of the darkness of walking in lies and into His marvelous light of walking in truth (1 Peter 2:9).  They are to be walking in truth because there is no darkness of lies in Their Father (1 John 1:5).

So yes, the truth really matters.  Whether you are walking in truth or walking in lies tells Who's Your Daddy.  Rather or not you allow lies to continue in your life after you learn the truth tells the world Whose Child Are You.

Perhaps you realize that you have not been walking in truth.  The Good News is that you will start walking in truth when you come into the House of Truth.  You first come into the House of Truth when you make the Man of Truth your Rabbi through total surrender because you believe that His Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).  When you come into the House of Truth the Man of Truth will cleanse you from the filth of walking in lies and begin showing you how to continue walking in truth (1 John 1:6).

A Time For Civil Disobedience

Does the Book of Truth (The Bible) ever teach that there is a time for civil disobedience?

Civil disobedience is the act of disobeying a law.  While this would literally include things like speeding and jay walking, the term carries a connotation of disobeying a law made by the civil authorities because either the law is unjust in itself or the law is being used by the civil authorities as a means to carry out an unjust end.

America was founded by men who practiced civil disobedience.  They refused to obey many laws that they believed to be unjust and eventually broke many laws that they believed were just in themselves but would hinder them from ending what they believed were the tyrannies of England if they obeyed them.

These men called themselves "patriots".  These patriots formed groups like the Sons of Liberty who decided that a time for civil disobedience had arrived.

Their civil disobedience included things like the Boston Tea Party whereby they seized tea and threw it into the harbor rather than allow Americans to pay a tax on it.  They were against the tax because Britain insisted that they were British subjects but had refused to allow them representation in the British parliament.  This situation was itself illegal under British law since the Magna Carta had guaranteed representation in parliament to all British subjects.  The Sons of Liberty could see that in light of such disregard for the rights promised under British law by the British government that it was a time for civil disobedience.

The British politicians did not dare to give the colonists the representation promised them under British Law.  The American colonists would have made up one-third of parliament.  This would have meant that one third of the British politicians would have been out of parliament.  Also a parliament with American representation would have been a serious disruption to the status quo since the Americans did not share many of the same values and concerns as most of the people of England.  Worst yet, other colonists across the British empire would also have had to be given the same representation.  In no time, the English would have became a minority in the British parliament!

So the British parliament passed law after law as an effort to exert British rule over the American colonies without any of the representation that had been promised under the Magna Carta.  The British parliament was out to prove that it could do whatever it wanted with these American colonies so it refuse to listen to all pleas by the Americans to be given the representation in parliament that had been promised to all British subjects.  When the Intolerable Acts were passed these patriots knew that it was definitely a time for civil disobedience.

The British then confiscated the firearms of private citizens and imposed various measures of gun control.  The patriots responded by stockpiling large amounts of guns and ammunition all over the land.  They created hidden magazines deep in the wilderness as well as underground in towns.  They ignored every law that imposed any kind of gun control because they understood that it was a time for civil disobedience.

The time came when it was apparent that there was no chance of reconciliation and no turning back. These patriots cited twenty-seven violations of the just laws laid out in the Book of Truth in the Declaration of Independence as their justification for their civil disobedience and separation of the United States from Great Britain.  From that point forward, all patriots treated laws passed by the British parliament as not valid in the United States of America.  The British parliament kept insisting that these laws were valid in the American colonies but most Americans refused to recognize them as the law of the land.  The Americans were not about to be subject to British rule because it was a time for civil disobedience.

Eventually, the Americans won their independence and the US created its own laws.  At times these laws were also unjust to those who had no representation like black people.  So eventually, people rose up against these laws to put an end to things that the Book of Truth called injustices.  People had to take action to end unjust things like the American slavery system and racial discrimination .  In each case there came a point when people of valor arose who refused to obey unjust laws and even break the just laws that were being used to hinder them from ending an unjust practice.   The unjust practices never came to an end until enough people decided that they had arrived at a time for civil disobedience.

The Americans have not been the only ones that have recognized when it was a time for civil disobedience.  Others have in like manner been involved in ending unjust conditions in other countries at various times like the atrocities of Nazi Germany.  Those who rose up against the efforts of the Nazis were Germans and other Europeans who were part of the Children of Truth (those who obey the Father of Truth because they love Him).  These European Children of Truth ignored the unjust laws of the Nazis and even broke many just laws that would have hindered them from saving their Jewish neighbors.  They were able to limit the Nazis to killing only half of the Jews of Europe instead of all of the Jews of Europe because they understood that it was a time for civil disobedience.

Some people will say that the Founding Fathers were wrong in their civil disobedience.  Some people will say that the Book of Truth says that those who rule are to be obeyed no matter how unjust their laws are since the Father of Truth established human government.  Some people say that the Book of Truth teaches that there is never a time for civil disobedience. 

Does the Book of Truth ever teach that there is a time for civil disobedience?

The Father of Truth established human government to protect people from becoming victims of sins like murder (Genesis 9:6).  The purpose of human government is carry out His Laws on the Earth (Deuteronomy 17:18-20).   Human government is supposed to create laws and enforce laws to restrain people from doing anything that is contrary to His Laws (1 Timothy 1:8-11).  Human government is supposed to be a terror to those who break His Laws - not those who obey His Laws (Romans 13:3-5)!

Since the point of human government is to take care of people by enforcing His Laws then no human government ever has a right to make any law that is contrary to His Laws.  Therefore the Children of Truth should always obey the Father of Truth instead of obeying any law that is contrary to His Law or that is created to hinder them from obeying His Law (Acts 5:29).  There is definitely a time for civil disobedience!
When is it a time for civil disobedience?

It is for this reason that the Father of Truth blessed the midwives who refused to kill the Hebrew boys even though it was the law of the land (Exodus 1:15-21).  The mother of Moses hid him to save him alive even though it was against the law of the land  (Exodus 2:1-3).  Gideon destroyed the idols in Israel contrary to the law of the land (Judges 6:28-30).  Elijah executed the false prophets in Israel contrary to the law of the land (1 Kings 18:40).  The priest Jehoiada had a wicked queen executed for breaking the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) even though she ruled the land (2 Kings 11:14-16).    Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendego refuse to obey the law of the land by bowing down idols (Daniel 3:10-12).   Daniel prayed to the Father of Truth as commanded in the Law of Truth contrary to the law of the land (Daniel 6:9-11).  The Maccabees revolted against the Greeks and won independence for Israel when the Greeks set up an idol in the Temple at the commandment of the ruler of the land (Daniel 11:31-32).  Joseph fled to Egypt with the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) to escape the order of the king to slaughter the male babies of Bethlehem (Matthew 2:13-16).  The Man of Truth taught that any social or religious convention can be ignored as long as it was not commanded in the Law of Truth (Matthew 15:1-3).  The Apostles of Truth continued to preach the Gospel in Jerusalem contrary to the law of the land (Acts 5:27-32).  Jason and the saints at Thessaloniki called the Man of Truth their king contrary to the law of the land (Acts 17:6-7).  Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) preached the Gospel even after it was against the law of the land to do so (2 Timothy 4:16-18).  John the Jew (Yochanan ben Zebedee aka The Apostle John) was exiled for preaching the Gospel contrary to the law of the land (Revelation 1:9).  These heroes all knew that when the law of the land was contrary to the commandments of the Father of Truth then they had reached a time for civil disobedience!

Today, America is again at such a time.  America faces the greatest injustices that it has ever known.  These injustices are not the forced upon it by a foreign power or even by a selfish politicians in Washington DC.  America is being destroyed by a monster within.  This destruction comes from unelected judges that seek to legislate from the bench contrary to the powers granted them by the US Constitution.  These unjust judges strike down just laws passed by congress and the states.  These unjust judges make decisions that effectively become unjust laws for the United States that were never even voted on.  Once again, it is legislation without representation.  This is the very kind of tyranny that lead the Founding Fathers to issue the Declaration of Independence!
Time after time, they have subverted the clear will of the majority of the American people in order to pass these unjust laws.  When they struck down voluntary prayer at school in 1962, approximately 97% of the American populace was for prayer in school.  When they legalized abortion in 1973, it was illegal in almost every state in the US.  When they struck down the part of the Defense of Marriage Act confirming that marriage was only between a man and a woman in 2013, they were once again subverting the will of the vast majority of the American people.  These unelected tyrants have created law after law that violates the just laws laid out in the Book of Truth, the intentions of the Founding Fathers and the rights of Americans guaranteed in the Constitution.  It is clear that we have reached a time for civil disobedience!

The enemies of this country are not some foreign power but are domestic enemies that sit on benches in courts throughout the USA.  These domestic enemies must be resisted as everyone who has ever served in the US Armed Forces has taken an oath to do so.  These domestic enemies that are bringing out the destruction of the United States from within.  These domestic enemies did not come to power through force but through A Subtle Influence.  If no one resists these domestic enemies then their unjust laws will bring about The Death of America.  It is a time for civil disobedience!

It is time to no longer obey their unjust laws that forbid students from even practicing silent prayer in school.  It is time for those students who claim to be part of the Children of Truth to start praying out loud at the beginning of each class in school.  They need to be sure that they pray out loud in the name of the Man of Truth as well since these wicked judges have outlawed that while making all kinds of provision for the prayer to the foreign gods of Islam, Hinduism, and the like.  It is a time for civil disobedience!

These wicked judges have outlawed displaying the laws from the Book of Truth that were used to create the laws of America when it was founded.  It is time for the states where the Children of Truth are still in the majority to display the Ten Commandments and the like on the property of their capitals.  It is obvious that these tyrants are seeking to outlaw the worship of the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) while promoting the worship of foreign gods!  It is a time for civil disobedience!

No unjust judge can ever make a ruling that will make abortion anything other than murder in the womb.  The doctors, nurses, clients and all who work at abortion clinics as well as those that fund these clinics need to be treated like the murdering criminals that they are.  Their neighbors should give them no rest or peace, night or day as long as they continue in this wickedness, so that they understand that there is no rest for the wicked.  Let their homes that have been built on the brutalized bodies of the unborn be destroyed and let their property be made into a graveyard for those who they have murdered!  Their death houses where they carry out their heinous crimes against humanity need to be shut down by any means necessary just like the Holocaust had to be brought to an end by extreme means.  No one should feel safe to operate these death camps for the murder of the unborn nor be able to enter them for that purpose unhindered.  No one has the right to murder the innocent - especially their own children!  Just as the allies destroyed the death camps of the Nazis so also these abominations should be destroyed completely from the face of the United States.  It is a time for civil disobedience!

No wicked judge who hates the Father of Truth can ever make marriage between anything other than a man and a woman legitimate.  No one should treat this utter abomination of gay marriage as normal or acceptable or legitimate in any shape, form or fashion.  It is time to tell the homosexual that what they are doing is an abomination in the eyes of the Father of Truth and that they will suffer if they continue in it.  The states, corporations, businesses, and every other legal entity should ignore any ruling of any judge that says that they have have to give any marriage benefits to those who practice this exceedingly heavy sin.  It is time for the states to reinstate their sodomy laws as the Founding Fathers had originally set them up in the original states and enforce those laws.  It is time to treat these homosexuals as criminals just like the Founding Fathers did instead treating them as being somehow normal like those who were Married in Sodom.  It is a time for civil disobedience!

The US has no hope of repenting and ending these unjust laws unless the Children of Truth become like the Children of Issachar who understood the times and knew what to do (1 Chronicles 12:32).  The US will perish unless they realize it is a time for civil disobedience!

The true patriots of today should follow the example of the Founding Fathers and disregard every law that attempts to impose any type of gun control.  They should buy unregistered firearms, refuse to register their firearms they already own and stockpile ammunition.  They should buy their ammunition and firearms with cash so that there is no record of how many guns and how much ammunition that they have acquired.  They should create hidden magazines deep in the wilderness and underground in towns.  They should ignore every law that imposes any kind of gun control because they understand that it is a time for civil disobedience!

The Revolutionary War came about because the Children of Truth were awakened by the First Great Awakening that it was a time for civil disobedience!  The end of slavery that resulted from the Civil War came about because the Children of Truth were awakened by the Second Great Awakening that it was a time for civil disobedience!  America will not be saved from perishing by repenting unless the Children of Truth are awakened again to realizing that today is a time for civil disobedience!

What will happen to Americans if the US does not repent because the Children of Truth recognize that today is a time for civil disobedience?

Whether the US returns to just laws or if it perishes for continuing in these abominations will have no impact on the judgment that everyone will one day face.  The Father of Truth will judge everyone according to their obedience to His Laws (Romans 2:2-11).  Everyone, including these wicked judges, will appear in His court to be tried according to His Laws (Hebrews 9:27).

Those who continued in these sins because the law of the land commanded them or permitted them will still die for these sins unless they repented (Ezekiel 18:4).  The homosexuals will be cast into Hell for their deeds (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).  Everyone involved in abortions will also experience the second death (Galatians 5:19-21).

Those who likewise did nothing to end this wickedness because they were too afraid to act will also suffer eternally (Revelation 21:8).  They will suffer as well because they are guilty of The Worst Kind Of Hatred.

Will there ever cease to be a time for civil disobedience?

The Man of Truth is coming back to rule this Earth (Revelation 11:15)!  When he does then the Law of Truth will be the law of the entire Earth (Micah 4:2).  There will never again be a time for civil disobedience!

So what must Americans (and others) do since it is a time for civil disobedience!

They must first turn from their own wicked ways so that the Father of Truth might spare their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).  Today is the day for all to repent and be saved (2 Corinthians 6:2).

The Father of Truth does not delight in the destruction of the wicked (Ezekiel 18:23).  His delight is when they turn from all these wicked acts so that they might live (Ezekiel 18:32).  He is not willing that any should perish but wants everyone to come into the House of Truth (2 Peter 3:9).  He sent the Man of Truth to die for their sins so they could come into the House of Truth (1John 4:8-10).

Those that who would know when there is a time for civil disobedience must first come into the House of Truth.  They come into the House of Truth when they surrender control of their lives to the Man of Truth because they believe that His Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).
