Manifestations Of The Spirit

What are manifestations of the Spirit?

A manifestation is when the presence of one thing that is apparent by the effect that it has on something else.

For example, electricity cannot be seen, but its presence can be known by its effect on something else.  When something occurs to make the presence of electricity known, it is a manifestation of electricity.

Electricity can have its presence known by someone feeling an electrical shock.  Electricity can have its presence known by producing a humming sound as it goes through wires.  Electricity can have its presence known by super heating ions to the point that they produce light when lightning occurs.   Electricity can have its presence know by causing a change in state of an object, like say, causing a fan to blow.

It is no different with the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost).  Although the Spirit of Truth is everywhere at all times, the presence of the Spirit of Truth is not always apparent.  Something that people can experience, has to occur for the presence of the Spirit of Truth to be made known.

When something occurs to make the presence of the Spirit of Truth known, it is a manifestation of the Spirit of Truth.  Manifestations of the Spirit of Truth occur at different levels.

When some people talk about manifestations of the Spirit of Truth, they are talking about personal experiences that they might have had, whether when assembled with other believers in prayer, or when they are spending time alone with the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) in prayer.

They will talk about feeling the Spirit of Truth.  They will talk about hearing the voice of the Spirit of Truth.  They will talk about seeing the Spirit of Truth as something like a bright cloud in a vision.  They will talk about being given a dream by the Spirit of Truth.

These things happen to the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) when they pray.  The presence of the Spirit of Truth is evident only to the individuals having the experiences.  These are personal manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.  They are the lowest level of manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

When other people talk about manifestations of the Spirit of Truth, they are talking about the effect that the Spirit of Truth had on the Children of Truth when they assembled together.

They will talk about the Spirit of Truth being at their church service.  They will talk about being in the presence of the Spirit of Truth at a meeting.  They will talk about the Spirit of Truth moving in a revival.  They will talk about people coming under the conviction of the Spirit of Truth at a crusade.  They will talk about people falling under the power of the Spirit of Truth in a camp meeting.

These things happen when the Children of Truth assemble together.  The presence of the Spirit of Truth is evident by what is happening to people in these services. These are collective manifestations of the Spirit of Truth. They are the next level of manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

However, there is a higher level of the manifestation of the Spirit of Truth than personal or collective manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.  The highest level of the manifestation of the Spirit of Truth on Earth, is when the Spirit of Truth does something in the physical world to make the presence of the Spirit of Truth evident to everyone there.

These physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth on Earth occur throughout the Book of Truth (The Bible).

When Ezekiel prophesied in the valley of  dry bones, there was a great shaking that caused the bones to come together, have flesh grow upon them, and be covered with skin (Ezekiel 37:1-8).  When Ezekiel prophesied a second time, a breath came out of the winds that gave life to the army of dead men (Ezekiel 37:9-10).  The shaking and the wind were both physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Ezekiel 37:11-14).

These physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth on Earth are only mere reflections of those in Heaven.  The physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth in Heaven are the even higher than those on Earth.  They are the highest level of manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

The Father of Truth walks around Heaven in a thick cloud that covers Him from being seen, which is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Job 22:13-14).  [The "dark cloud" is the same Hebrew word translated as "thick cloud" in other passages.  The "thick cloud" in this passage is "`ab", which means "envelop" - as in being surrounded by a cloud.]

The Father of Truth spreads His cloud upon His throne, which is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Job 26:9).

The cloudy covering above Him and the thick cloud around Him in Heaven, is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Psalm 97:2). [ "Darkness" is the same Hebrew word translated as "thick cloud" in other passages.  "Clouds" in this passage is "`anan", which means "a cloudy covering".]

The light that the Father of Truth covers Himself with in Heaven, is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Psalm 104:1-2).

In Heaven, the shaking of the door posts, the smoke, and the fire that burned in the live coal, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Isaiah 6:3-7).

Ezekiel saw a whirling cloud of fire in Heaven (Ezekiel 1:4).  He saw fire and lightning that moved in the midst of the four living creatures, which went where the Spirit of Truth went (Ezekiel 1:12-14).  He heard a sound like a voice whenever the living creatures were moving (Ezekiel 1:24).  He also saw a fire upon the man on the throne and a bright light irradiating out the throne  (Ezekiel 1:26-28).  All of these were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Ezekiel 1:28).

The cloud that filled the Temple Ezekiel saw in Heaven, which was the glory of the Father of Truth, and brightness that he saw fill the inner court, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Ezekiel 10:3-4).

The glory of the Father of Truth, that caused the Earth to shine, and the voice that sounded like noise of many waters, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Ezekiel 43:2-4).

The fire that Daniel saw in throne of the Ancient of Days, in His wheels, and that goes before Him, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Daniel 7:9-10).

The light in Heaven that the Father of Truth dwells in, is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (1 Timothy 6:13-16).

The lightning, thunders, and voices that came out of the throne, and the fire in the seven lamps burning brightly before the throne, were all physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth that John the Jew witnessed in Heaven (Revelation 4:3-5).

The smoke that rises with the prayers of the Children of Truth, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth that John the Jew saw in Heaven (Revelation 8:3-4).

The cloud, the bright light shined out, and the fire that covered the Angel of Truth, and the seven thunders that sounded when the Angel of Truth spoke, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth that John the Jew witnessed in Heaven (Revelation 10:1-4).

The cloud in Heaven that John the Jew saw the Man of Truth sitting on, when he thrust in his sickle to complete the harvest of the Earth, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Revelation 14:14-16).

The glory that lights the Earth, which John the Jew saw when the Angel of Truth was sent from Heaven, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Revelation 18:1).

The glory that John the Jew saw give light to the New Jerusalem, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Revelation 21:23-24).

The light that John the Jew saw the Children of Truth living in, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Revelation 22:3-5).

So, the presence of the Spirit of Truth on Earth is manifested physically in twelve different ways: smoke, fire, thunder, lightning, a thick cloud, a loud sound, a shaking, a bright light, a light that shines out, a strong wind, a dove, and a bright cloud.

These physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth were not just meant for the days of the Prophets of Truth and the Apostles of Truth, for the Spirit of Truth is still active among the Children of Truth.

For example, not long after I started producing the sound of power, I went to a backwoods Pentecostal church for a prayer meeting.  I asked them how long we were going to pray, and the man in charge told me, "until the rafters shake".  After about two hours of everyone praying loudly in tongues, the rafters literally shook as if they were in an earthquake.  The man in charged then dismissed us as if this nothing unusual had happened.

That shaking of the rafters was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth

Another man I knew, told about how he had came to be saved, when he experienced physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

He was driving home when he saw the top of a church building engulfed in flames and smoke pouring out.  Other people had pulled over and were outside their cars watching in dismay.  When he got out of his car, he could hear the sound of people shouting and screaming.  He asked the bystanders if anyone had called the local fire department, and one of them said that they had, and the fire truck would be there shortly.

He was a volunteer fire fighter, so he approached the building to see if he could find a way in and possibly rescue at least one person.  He touched the outside of the main door to see how hot it was, but to his surprise, it was cool.  So, he opened the door carefully and looked in cautiously.  To his amazement, there was no fire inside the church, but there were people shouting and screaming as they worshiped the Man of Truth.  He immediately ran to the altar, fell to his knees, and gave his life to the Man of Truth.

This man carried a newspaper article in his wallet that told about how dozens of people had reported seeing the fire and smoke engulf the top of the church, but when the local volunteer fire fighters arrived, they found no evidence of the church ever being on fire.

That fire and smoke at the top of the church were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

I have heard other people give reports of one or more of these twelve physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth occurring.  Some of them I heard in person, some on radio or television, and some on the internet.  Many of these events were in rural areas, but some were in large cities.  Some occurred in the United States, while the rest occurred in other countries.

What all of these incidents had in common was, that the people who experienced them, were not seeking physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.  In fact, like Paul the Jew, many of them had not even came into the House of Truth, when they first experienced a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth.

However, someone was seeking to do the will of the Father of Truth in some manner, and these physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth just happened - usually only once and completely unexpected.

This is what happened at Pentecost (Shavuot) when devout Jews from many countries came to seek the Father of Truth in Jerusalem at His Feast of Truth (Acts 2:1-6).

These physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth occurred as one of the ways that the Father of Truth makes Himself known to those who seek Him with all their heart, as He promised (Deuteronomy 4:29).

For example, Azariah the Prophet of Truth reminded King Asa of this promise (2 Chronicles 15:1-7).  When King Asa acted on it, both descendants of Israel and Gentiles, from both the kingdom of Israel and Judah, gathered in Jerusalem to seek after the Father of Truth (2 Chronicles 15:8-11).   So, the Father of Truth was found by these seekers in the days of King Asa, when they sought Him with all of their heart (2 Chronicles 15:12-15).

This is even true about completely misguided people.

Those who persecute the Children of Truth often believe that they are doing the will of the Father of Truth (John 16:2).  Since Paul the Jew was seeking the Father of Truth with all of his heart, even though he was completely ignorant of the truth about the Man of Truth, the Father of Truth sent the Man of Truth to him, so he could find the Father of Truth (1 Timothy 1:11-13).

When the Father of Truth kept His promise, there were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth that everyone near Paul the Jew experienced (Acts 9:3-7).

It is no different today.  The Man of Truth has been showing himself to Muslims all over the world, because they are seeking the Father of Truth with all their heart, even though they are ignorant of the truth about the Man of Truth.  These encounters are often accompanied by physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth that everyone near them experiences.  Like Paul the Jew, these former Muslims come into the House of Truth and find the Father of Truth.

It is also true about the Children of Truth.  When they seek the Father of Truth with all their hearts in their assemblies, then they will find Him, like those seekers did in the days of King Asa.

This what happened to the assembly in Jerusalem in days of the Apostles.

The assembly sought to do the will of the Father of Truth with all of their heart (Acts 4:24-30). So there was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth to let them know that He was with them (Acts 4:31).  This gave them the ability to them carry out His will with all their heart (Acts 4:32-35).

So, while these physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth are still occurring today, we are not seek after them.  We are to seek after the Father of Truth with all of our heart, and we will find Him - with or without a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth.

The only way to find the Father of Truth is through finding the Man of Truth (John 14:6).  Those who obey the Man of Truth will find the Father of Truth (John 14:23).

For this reason, whenever anyone seeks the Father of Truth with all of their heart, then He draws them to the Man of Truth (John 6:44).  The Father of Truth makes it known to them, that the Man of Truth is one spoken of by the Prophets of Truth (John 6:45).

When this happens, the Father of Truth sends the Spirit of Truth to them, to testify to the truth about the Man of Truth (John 15:26).  The Spirit of Truth then manifests to them in some manner, to confirm the truth about the Man of Truth (1 Corinthians 12:7).  The Spirit of Truth decides how to manifest to each person - including physical manifestations sometimes (1 Corinthians 12:11).

So, seek after the Father of Truth with your all your heart, and you will find Him in the House of Truth.  Come into the House of Truth, and you will experience some manifestation of the Spirit of Truth - maybe even one or more of the physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth .

You come into the House of Truth, when you make a commitment to obey the Man of Truth with your whole heart, because you believe that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  This is the very reason that there are physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth today (1 John 4:2).

Come into the House of Truth!
