The Spirit of The Law

Is the Spirit of Truth at odds with the Law of Truth?

Many preachers have said things like, since we have been given the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost), then we do not need the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law).  They have went on to say things like, the Spirit of Truth has set us free from the Law of Truth.  They went on further to say things like, since we are lead by the Spirit of Truth, then we are under no obligation to obey the Law of Truth.   They act like, the Law of Truth was holding people prisoners with demands to obey its commandments, but the Spirit of Truth set them free from any need to obey those commandments.  Basically, they give the impression that the Spirit of Truth is at odds with the Law of Truth.

Is this what the Book of Truth (The Bible) says?  In particular, is this what the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament) says?

The best place to start is the day of Pentecost, when the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) were first baptized in the Spirit of Truth.  The Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) told them to wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD), as his last instructions before he left this Earth (Acts 1:4-9).  Then on the day of Pentecost, they were baptized in the Spirit of Truth and spoke in tongues (Acts 2:1-4).  This was proof, that the Father of Truth had poured out the Spirit of Truth upon the Children of Truth, as He had spoken through Joel, the Prophet of Truth (Acts 2:16-18).  This was the promise of the Father of Truth, that the Man of Truth said, would be given to those who waited in Jerusalem (Acts 2:33).

Then a second group of people, who had not received the instructions of the Man of Truth, were baptized in the Spirit of Truth on the day of Pentecost as well.  Those, who were first baptized in the Spirit of Truth, had witnessed the Man of Truth rise again (Acts 2:30-32). Then these Jewish people were told about the resurrection of the Man of Truth (Acts 2:33-36).  Then they were also told, that they would also be baptized in the Spirit of Truth, if they would come into the House of Truth, because it was promised to all of the Jewish people (Acts 2:37-39).

There was about 120 of the Children of Truth, who were first baptized in the Spirit of Truth (Acts 1:12-15).  However, the Man of Truth had given these instructions to more than 500 of them (1 Corinthians 15:4-6).  What made the difference, between those who obeyed the instructions, and those who did not?

There were 3000 more, who were baptized in the Spirit of Truth as a second group on that same day (Acts 2:40-41).  There were many thousands more in Jerusalem on that day.  What made the difference, between those who were baptized in the Spirit of Truth, and those who were not?

What caused some to be baptized in the Spirit of Truth on the day of Pentecost, when the sound of power was first heard, while others were not, becomes clear, when some other questions are answered.

What is Pentecost?

Pentecost comes from a Greek word, that literally means "fiftieth".

Pentecost is the Feast of Truth, given in the Law of Truth, that occurs on the fiftieth day, counting off from First Fruits (Bikkurim) as one, when the firstfruits of the barley harvest is offered, that occurs on the first day after the Sabbath that follows Passover (Leviticus 23:10-16).

During these fifty days that start with First Fruits and ends with Pentecost, there are seven weeks, that each end with a regular weekly Sabbath (Leviticus 23:15-16).  For this reason, the Feast of Truth called Pentecost in Greek, is also known as "the Feast of Weeks", when the first fruits of the wheat harvest is offered (Exodus 34:22).  So in Hebrew, this Feast of Truth is called "Shabuot", which literally means "weeks".

So Pentecost is not it some holiday, like Ash Wednesday, that was created by the False Church of Rome.  Pentecost was the Feast of Truth, given the Law of Truth, when the baptism of the Spirit of Truth first occurred.

Many of the Children of Truth have been confused about this, because of the False Church of Rome.  The False Church of Rome has made a counterfeit holiday, that it also calls "Pentecost".  This counterfeit holiday was created, hundreds of years after the baptism of Spirit of Truth was first given.

How did those, who had not heard the instructions of the Man of Truth, know to be in Jerusalem?

Moses (Moishe) was told, that everyone, who lived in the Promised Land, was to bring their offering for these Feasts of Truth, starting with First Fruits (Leviticus 23:9-11).  They were to bring their offering to Jerusalem, where the Father of Truth would place His name, to observe Pentecost (Deuteronomy 16:9-11).  Every man, who lived in the Promised Land, was to appear before the Father of Truth at the Temple in Jerusalem, for Pentecost, and the other two harvest Feast of Truth, with an offering (Deuteronomy 16:16-17).

If anyone was outside of the Promised Land for any reason, then they were to turn their offering for each of these Feasts of Truth into money, and store up the money, until they were able to come to Jerusalem, to make their offering at one of these Feasts of Truth, like Pentecost (Deuteronomy 14:22-25).

Pentecost, was an extra Sabbath, where the Children of Truth were to not do any regular work, and congregate together (Numbers 28:26).  Those who lived outside the Promised Land, would bring the money of their offering, and give it at their meeting place, for these three Feasts of Truth.  Whenever representatives from their congregation went to Jerusalem, then they would send the accumulated offerings of the entire congregation, to be given on their behalf at the Temple.

These three Feasts of Truth, were all extra Sabbaths.  Since the first two always fell on Sunday, the first day of the week, all three of these extra Sabbaths almost always occurred before the regular weekly Sabbath.  So they were each called a First Sabbath.  It was on one of these First Sabbaths, that Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) instructed the Children of Truth, to gather their offerings, so those offerings could be taken to Jerusalem (1 Corinthians 16:1-3). [The phrase "first day of the week" has "day" in italics, because the Greek word for word "day" is not in the Greek phrase "mian sabbaton", used in this passage, which literally means "first Sabbath".]

Since many of the Gentile Children of Truth have not understood for centuries, that Paul the Jew had the Children of Truth collecting their offerings on First Sabbaths, like Pentecost, they have also not understood, who changed the Sabbath.

However, when the baptism of the Spirit of Truth was given at Pentecost (Shabuot), the Jewish Children of Truth understood, that they were in Jerusalem, to celebrate one of the Feasts of Truth, that had been commanded in the Law of Truth.

Those in that second group to be baptized in the Spirit of Truth, were devout to keeping the commandments of the Law of Truth (Acts 2:5).  Some of them were so devout. that they had walked more than a thousand miles, just to be in Jerusalem for the Feast of Truth, called Pentecost (Acts 2:9-11).

What is the promise of the Father of Truth that was first fulfilled at Pentecost?

The promise of the Father of Truth was to give the Children of Truth a new heart, and put a new spirit in them, so they could obey the commandments of the Law of Truth from their heart (Ezekiel 11:19-20).  He promised to put the Spirit of Truth in them, so they could obey the commandments of the Law of Truth from their heart (Ezekiel 36:26-27). Since the Spirit of Truth would cause them to obey the commandments of the Law of Truth from their heart, then the Father of Truth would no longer hide His face from them (Ezekiel 39:29).  The Children of Truth would know, that the Spirit of Truth had been poured out on them, when they began to speak forth supernatural utterances, that glorified the Father of Truth (Joel 2:28-29).

This is what those, who had first been baptized in the Spirit of Truth, did, by speaking messages in languages, that they could not speak on their own, that gloried the Father of Truth (Acts 2:5-11).  So Peter the Jew (Cephas aka Sh'mon aka Simon aka Simeon aka The Apostle Peter) told those, who heard the Children of Truth do this, that they were witnessing the sign, that the Father of Truth was pouring the Spirit of Truth on the Children of Truth, so they could obey the commandments of the Law of Truth (Acts 2:14-18).

So the Children of Truth were baptized in the Spirit of Truth at Pentecost, a Feast of Truth, so they could obey the commandments of the Law of Truth from their heart.

What was required to receive the promise of the Father?

The promise of the Father of Truth to give the Spirit of Truth, was only for those, who repented of breaking the commandments of the Law of Truth. (Ezekiel 18:30-32)

Now the Father of Truth had spoken in the Law of Truth, that He would raise up another Prophet of Truth like unto Moses, and that people must obey that Prophet of Truth (Deuteronomy 18:15-19).  The Man of Truth is that Prophet of Truth, who people must obey (Acts 3:20-23).

So Peter the Jew told those, who heard those, who were first baptized in the Spirit of Truth, what they had to do to also be baptized in the Spirit of Truth.  They must repent of breaking the commandments of the Law of Truth, by making a commitment to obey the Man of Truth, so they could receive the promise of the Father of Truth, to be baptized in the Spirit of Truth (Acts 2:38-39).

Now that these questions have been answered, it starts becoming clear, why only some of those, who could have been baptized in the Spirit of Truth, received the promise of the Father of Truth.

All of those, who the Man of Truth told to wait in Jerusalem, should have been there, because he is the one, that the Law of Truth said, that they must obey.  Even if he had not told them to wait in Jerusalem, they should have been there, to obey the commandment of the Law of Truth, to be there for Pentecost.  Those who were devoted to the Father of Truth, enough to obey Law of Truth, by coming to Jerusalem for Pentecost, were also the ones, who were devoted enough, to obey the Man of Truth.

So even though, Jerusalem was full of people, not all of them were there, out of devotion to the Father of Truth.  Those who were devoted to the Father of Truth, enough to obey Law of Truth, by coming to Jerusalem for Pentecost, from far away, were also the ones, who were devoted enough, to repent of breaking the Law of Truth, and make a commitment to obey the Man of Truth.

So the first people to be baptized in the Spirit of Truth, were those, who strongly desired to obey the Law of Truth.  They desired to have the Spirit of Truth poured out on them, as the Father of Truth had promised, so they could obey the Law of Truth from their heart, as He had always intended.

The truth is, that it has always been about the heart.

The heart that turns to the Father of Truth, keeps the commandments of the Law of Truth (Deuteronomy 30:10).  The heart that loves the Father of Truth, keeps the commandments of the Law of Truth (Joshua 22:5).   The heart that contains the Law of Truth, will never slide away from the Father of Truth (Psalm 37:31).  The heart that seeks to keep the Law of Truth, seeks to learn from the Father of Truth (Psalm 119:33-35).

The Man of Truth came to do the will of the Father of Truth, because the Law of Truth was in his heart (Psalm 40:7-9).  The heart of a child of the Father of Truth, seeks to remember to keep the Law of Truth (Proverbs 3:1).

Since the heart is the real issue, no one can obey the Law of Truth, without the Spirit of Truth.

The Law of Truth will kill anyone, who tries to obey it by the letter, without the Spirit of Truth (Romans 7:4-6).  The Law of Truth cannot be obeyed without the Spirit of Truth, so it will bring death to everyone, who does not have the Spirit of Truth (Romans 7:12-14).  Those who do not have the Spirit of Truth are under the penalty of death, because their flesh will lead them into disobedience to the Law of Truth, but those who follow the Spirit of Truth, are free from the penalty of death, because the Spirit of Truth will lead them into obedience to the Law of Truth (Romans 8:1-3).  Those who are lead by the Spirit of Truth, do those things that Law of Truth says are right, which results in life, but those who are lead by their flesh, do those things that Law of Truth says are evil, which results in death (Romans 8:4-6).  So those who live their life in obedience to the Spirit of Truth, are not under condemnation for disobeying the Law of Truth (Galatians 5:16-18).

The flesh will lead people into behavior, that is contrary to the Law of Truth (Galatians 5:19-21).  The Spirit of Truth will lead people into behavior, that fulfills the Law of Truth (Galatians 5:22-23).

So the Spirit of Truth was first poured out on those, who were already trying to obey the Law of Truth.  The Spirit of Truth was promised to be poured out, so people could keep the Law of Truth from their heart.  The Spirit of Truth leads people into obedience to the Law of Truth.

In fact, the Law of Truth came from the Father of Truth (2 Timothy 3:16).  Every prophecy, including the Law of Truth, came from the Spirit of Truth (2 Peter 1:21).  So the Spirit of Truth cannot be at odds with the Law of Truth.

The real problem is, that every person is born with a heart, that is deceitful and wicked (Jeremiah 17:9).  They have a heart of stone, that cannot bear to even hear the Law of Truth (Zechariah 7:12).  It is not possible for people with such a heart, to be subject to the Law of Truth, and live a life that is pleasing to the Father of Truth (Romans 8:7-8).

So their stony heart must be replaced with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 11:19).  Another spirit, the Spirit of Truth, must replace the corrupt spirit, that they were born with, so their heart can be replaced (Ezekiel 36:26).  Then the Spirit of Truth can write the Law of Truth upon their hearts (2 Corinthians 3:3).

The Father of Truth said, that He would make a Renewed Covenant, where He would write the Law of Truth in the hearts of the Children of Truth (Jeremiah 31:33).  The Renewed Covenant is the Father of Truth writing the Law of Truth in the hearts of the Children of Truth (Hebrews 8:10).  The Spirit of Truth was given to write the Law of Truth in the hearts of the Children of Truth, because that is the Renewed Covenant (Hebrews 10:15-17).

The Spirit of Truth is the means to being born into the House of Truth (John 3:5-7).  Everyone who comes into the House of Truth, is given the Spirit of Truth (Romans 8:9-11).  People come into the House of Truth, when they surrender to the Man of Truth, because they believe in their heart, that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9-11).  After they come into the House of Truth, then the Spirit of Truth begins writing the Law of Truth on their hearts, so they can obey the Law of Truth from their hearts, because that is the Renewed Covenant (2 Corinthians 3:3-6).

Come into the House of Truth!

The Cart Before The Horse

If people could read only one chapter or book of the Bible what should it be?

When I lived in Greece I was involved with a group who smuggled Bibles into Yugoslavia.  The former country of Yugoslavia was a satellite country of the USSR and its border with Greece was part of the Iron Curtain that people back in the USA were always talking about.  It was the height of the Cold War and the tensions along the border were high.

The USSR was a communist country whose official religion was atheism.  Their police state hunted down, tortured and killed the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him).  The most dangerous thing to possess in Yugoslavia was a Bible.

Nonetheless the demand for Bibles in Yugoslavia was incredible.  In fact, we could not smuggle in nearly enough Bibles for everyone who wanted one to have one.  So the Children of Truth in Yugoslavia would take a Bible and carefully cut out each page with a razor blade.   A single page was small enough to hide easily and when necessary could be quickly discarded or destroyed.

The pages were then distributed among the Children of Truth in a somewhat random fashion from underground church to underground church.  Inside of each underground church each member typically got one or sometimes two pages.  When a member got two pages the member would usually pass one of the pages on to someone who had not yet come into the House of Truth to read.  The member would then read the other page over and over again until the member had memorized the entire page.  After a page was memorized the member would then find another member who had also memorized their page and the two would trade pages.  Eventually one underground church would be able to trade some of its pages with another underground church.

Of course, the number of available pages was forever shrinking due to giving pages to people who had not come into the House of Truth and to being forced to discard or destroy a page to survive.  Obviously, the pages of the people who were caught were taken out of circulation.  This is why it was so vital that we continued our operation of smuggling Bibles into Yugoslavia.

So needless to say most of the Children of Truth never actually were able to read the entire Book of Truth.  They would get a random sampling of pages over many years that might constitute the number of pages in a single book about the size of the Gospel of Matthew.

This got me thinking.  If you could only give one chapter of the Book of Truth to someone ever what chapter would you give them?  (We'll pretend that each chapter takes a page.)  If you could only someone one book from the Book of Truth which book would you give them?

For me there are several good candidates for the one chapter that I would give them but if it came down to it I would give them Romans 10.  As far as which book I would give them, again there are several good candidates but if it came down to it I would give them Romans.

Now your answers maybe different than mine because as I said there are several good candidates for both the single chapter and the single book (the chapter need not belong to the book).  However, one thing is certain, if someone who knew nothing about the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) was going to receive only one chapter or even one book from the Book of Truth ever then it had better be from the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament).

It is for this reason that when I disciple someone who has just came into the House of Truth that I have them read the entire Renewed Covenant before I ever have them read the Original Covenant (Tanach aka The Old Testament).  Otherwise I would be putting the cart before the horse.

Now some people have said that having someone start reading at the Gospel of Matthew (Mattiyahu), continuing through Revelation, then going to Genesis (B'reshit) and going forward from there until the entire Original Covenant is finished is like starting a book in the middle, reading to the end, then going to the front and reading to the middle.  Their usual question is: Who reads a book from the middle first?

First of all, the Book of Truth (The Bible) is really a collection of more than 60 books that tell an epic story.  So their question would be better stated as who starts an epic story in the middle, then goes to the end and then goes to the beginning to catch up to the middle?

The answer is almost everyone.  This is actually very common not just with books but also with movies and even television franchises.  For example, Star Trek did this.  The original series covered in the middle of the Starfleet time line, then Next Generation and its spin offs went to the end of the Starfleet time line and finally Enterprise covered the beginning of Starfleet time line.  In fact, not only did the audience watch the story of Star Fleet in this order but it was also written in this order.  The same could be said about countless other franchises including book series written long before electronic media existed.

The reason that this method of middle, end, and then beginning when telling an epic story is repeated so often is that it works.  It not only works with telling epic stories but it is often used in education as well.  How many times have teachers introduced a concept with a brief explanation, then explained how the concept fits into the big picture and then finally got around to the minute details of how the concept actually works?

The reason this methodology works is because it does not focus on a linear order of first to last in terms of time but rather focuses on a priority order of first to last in terms of importance for the audience to understand.  The middle part often has the highest priority for the audience to understand.

The middle is often the part that glues everything else together like peanut butter holding two pieces of bread together to form a peanut butter sandwich.  It is not so much that the peanut butter is more necessary, because it takes all of it to form a peanut butter sandwich, as it is that the peanut butter is what connects everything together to form the peanut butter sandwich.  Without the peanut butter you just have two unconnected pieces of bread.  Without both pieces of bread you do not have a sandwich.  Still the peanut butter is what makes it a peanut butter sandwich instead of a chicken salad sandwich.  Since the peanut butter is the part holds everything together and defines the character of the sandwich then it is most important part of the sandwich.  The entire sandwich hinges on the peanut butter.

In the same way the story of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth is the most important part of the Book of Truth.  He is the subject of every chapter of every book in the Book of Truth - even when it is not obvious on the surface.  The Book of Truth begins with the need for the Man of Truth and ends with the reign of the Man of Truth.  The part that holds it all together is the story of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth.  The story told by the first part of the Book of Truth can never be understood properly until people know the Man of Truth.  They come to know the Man of Truth by reading the middle part of the Book of Truth.  That is one reason why having someone who has surrendered their life to the Man of Truth start with the first book of the Book of Truth is putting the cart before the horse.

The Book of Truth says the same thing.

The foundation of the House of Truth starts with the writings of the Apostles of Truth (the Renewed Covenant) and then continues with the writings of the Prophets of Truth (the Original Covenant) but it is the Man of Truth who holds the House of Truth together (Ephesians 2:19-21).  The writings of the Prophets of Truth were written first, but the writings of the Apostles of Truth pull out the most important concepts of the writings of the Prophets of Truth, without giving all the details so that people can know the Man of Truth (2 Peter 3:1-2).  For this reason the Apostles of Truth are told to rejoice first, and then the Prophets of Truth, when the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) avenges their blood, even though the Prophets of Truth were obviously martyred first (Revelation 18:20).  Starting with the writings of the Prophets of Truth, and then going to the writings of the Apostles of Truth, is putting the cart before the horse.

The early Prophets of Truth, who foretold the the Man of Truth coming down from Heaven, did not understand what the Man of Truth would accomplished on the Earth like the Apostles of Truth, and the later Prophets of Truth, who spoke by the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) after the Man of Truth returned to Heaven (Ephesians 3:3-5).  The Apostles of Truth were the first ones to understand that the Gentiles were also to be brought into the House of Truth as equal members of the family of the Father of Truth (Ephesians 3:6).  The Apostles of Truth were the first to be sent to bring the Gentiles into the House of Truth as full members, without requiring them to first become Jews through circumcision (Ephesians 3:7-8).  The Apostles of Truth were the first to understand that this had always been the hidden plan of the Father of Truth in sending the Man of Truth to this Earth (Ephesians 3:9-11).

The Apostles of Truth were the first to understand that everything that had happened from the day that the Father of Truth called Abraham (Abram) to form the Jewish people, to the day that the descendants of Abraham rebelled against the Father of Truth in crucifying the Man of Truth, was all part of the secret plan to save the entire human race.  The Apostles of Truth were the first to have their eyes opened by the Spirit of Truth, so they could see that the plan of the Father of Truth for the Jewish people had always been about the Gentiles.  The writings of the Apostles of Truth have higher priority than the writings of the Prophets of Truth, because they are the writings that tell the story of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth.  Since the writings of the Prophets of Truth contain pieces of the puzzle, but the writing of the Apostles of Truth show the picture that the puzzle forms, then reading the writings of the Prophets of Truth before the writings of the Apostles of Truth is putting the cart before the horse.

The Apostles of Truth also followed this same pattern of starting with what the Man of Truth did on this Earth, when they brought the Good News to the Gentiles, before they ever directed the Gentiles towards the writings of the Prophets of Truth in the Original Covenant.

Consider the first Gentile to come into the House of Truth without first becoming a Jew through circumcision.  Cornelius the Italian was not totally ignorant of the Father of Truth, but was one of the proselytes of the gate (ger toshav) who feared the Father of Truth, but who had not made the cut when it came to circumcision (Acts 10:1-2).  An Angel of Truth told Cornelius the Italian to send for Peter the Jew (Cephas aka Simon aka Simeon aka the Apostle Peter), who would tell him how to come into the House of Truth (Acts 10:3-6).  When Peter the Jew came to tell Cornelius the Italian how to come into the House of Truth, there were a large number of other Gentiles who wanted to come into the House of Truth as well (Acts 10:27-33).  Then Peter the Jew preached to them about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth (Acts 10:34-42).  Peter the Jew barely even mentioned the Prophets of Truth, and did not quote or even paraphrase any of their writings (Acts 10:43).  The moment these Gentiles believed his message, they were baptized in the Spirit of Truth (Acts 10:44-46).  Then these Gentiles were baptized in water, and Peter the Jew stayed with them for several days, because they had come into the House of Truth (Acts 10:46-48).  When Peter the Jew rehearsed the whole matter before the other Apostles of Truth, and the Jewish congregation they agreed that the Gentiles had came into the House of Truth by hearing only about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth (Acts 11:15-18).  Peter the Jew did not teach the Gentiles about the writings of the Prophets of Truth, before he preached to them about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth, because that is putting the cart before the horse.

In like manner, when Barnabas the Jew (The Apostle Barnabas) and Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) went to preach the Word of Truth to Sergius Paulus the Gentile they were resisted by Elymas the Sorcerer (Acts 13:6-8).  When Sergius Paulus the Gentile saw how the power of the Spirit of Truth overcame the power of Elymas the Sorcerer then he came into the House of Truth by seeing the doctrine of the Man of Truth demonstrated (Acts 13:9-12).

When Paul the Jew preached to the Jews and Gentile proselytes of the gate at Antioch (Pisidia) he started with a very short summary of the history of the Jewish people up to the time of King Saul (Acts 13:14-21).  He then told them that the Man of Truth was the descendent of King David that had been promised to Israel (Acts 13:22-23).  He then preached about what the Man of Truth had done on this Earth so that both the Jews and Gentiles in his audience could come into the House of Truth (Acts 13:24-38).  He had not even discussed the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses because people can only come into the House of Truth by believing what the Man of Truth did on this Earth (Acts 13:39-41).  Afterwards Paul the Jew urged the Jews and Gentile proselytes who believed the Good News about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth to continue in the grace that the Father of Truth had demonstrated by sending the Man of Truth to this Earth (Acts 13:42-43).  The next Sabbath Paul the Jew again preached the same message to almost all of the Gentiles in Antioch (Pisidia) (Acts 13:42-44).  Paul the Jew then said that any of the Jews who did not believe the message of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth had rejected eternal life but the Gentiles who would believe this message would come into the House of Truth (Acts 13:45-47).  It was believing the message about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth that caused the Gentiles to come into the House of Truth (Acts 13:48).

Paul the Jew and Barnabas the Jew then continued to preach about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth in Iconium to both the Jews and the Gentiles while the Spirit of Truth continued to confirm their message with signs and wonders (Acts 14:1-3).  Then they went to Lystra where they preached only about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth and the Spirit of Truth again confirmed their message with a wondrous sign when one of the Gentiles believed the message (Acts 14:6-10).  These were true idol worshiping Gentiles and not proselytes of the gate (Acts 14:11-13).  Paul the Jew then told these Gentiles that the Father of Truth had sent them to preach the message of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth to turn these Gentiles from idolatry (Acts 14:14-18).  Paul the Jew and Barnabas the Jew then finished their mission to the Gentiles in Derby by first preaching to them about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth and then going on to teach the Gentiles about other things from the Book of Truth (Acts 14:20-21).  They then returned to every place they had been to organize the Jewish and Gentile Children of Truth into congregations while preaching that they should continue to keep their faith in what the Man of Truth did on this Earth (Acts 14:22-25).

So during the entire first mission of Paul the Jew to the Gentiles he only mentioned what the Prophets of Truth had written when preaching to Jews and Gentile proselytes of the gate who were knew something about the writings of the Prophets of Truth.  Even then most of his message was about what the Man of Truth had done on this Earth.  When he preached to Gentiles who knew nothing about the writings of the Prophets of Truth he only preached about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth.  It was only afterwards that he would begin to discuss other things like the reign of the Man of Truth and what was written in the writings of the Prophets of Truth.  Paul the Jew gave priority to what the Man of Truth did on this Earth because that is what people must believe to come into the House of Truth.  Paul the Jew demonstrated that teaching the Gentiles about the writings of the Prophets of Truth before preaching to them about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth is putting the cart before the horse.

Seven years after Peter the Jew had preached to Cornelius the Italian and three years after Paul the Jew had returned to Antioch some of the Jewish Children of Truth said that the Gentiles had to keep the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses to come into the House of Truth (Acts 15:4-6).  So Peter the Jew reminded them that the Gentiles had already came into the House of Truth without even hearing from the Original Covenant (Acts 15:7-11).  Paul the Jew and Barnabas the Jew in like manner testified of how the Spirit of Truth had confirmed the preaching to the Gentiles about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth with signs and wonders (Acts 15:12).  James the Jew (Ja'acob aka Jacob aka The Apostle James) then showed that the Gentiles coming into the House of Truth without even hearing from the writings of the Prophets of Truth as had happened with Peter the Jew was what the Prophets of Truth had written about (Acts 15:13-17).  Since it had always been the plan of the Father of Truth to save the Gentiles by telling them about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth then the Gentiles could learn from the Original Covenant afterwards (Acts 15:18-21).  Learning about the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses before believing the message about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth is putting the cart before the horse.

When Paul the Jew arrived in Philippi there was not even ten Jewish men and Gentile proselytes of righteousness (ger tzadikim - Gentiles who had become Jews through circumcision) there that was needed to form a synagogue so they met by the river for prayer instead (Acts 16:12-13). When Paul the Jew told them about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth then Lydia and her household were baptized in water after they came into the House of Truth (Acts 16:14-15).  When the Philippian jailor, who was an idol worshiping Gentile who had not been at the river, wanted to come into the House of Truth Paul the Jew told him about what the Man of Truth had done on this Earth without telling him anything else (Acts 16:30-32).  It was believing the message about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth that caused the household of the Philippian jailer to be baptized to show that they had came into the House of Truth (Acts 16:33-34).

When Paul the Jew finally came to Thessaloniki where there was an actual synagogue then he taught out of the writings of the Prophets of Truth to confirm the truth of his message about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth (Acts 17:1-3).  It was believing the message about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth that brought both Jews and Gentile proselytes into the House of Truth (Acts 17:3-4).  In like manner the Jews and Gentile proselytes at Berea examined the writings of the Prophets of Truth to confirm the truth of the message of Paul the Jew about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth so that they could come into the House of Truth (Acts 17:10-12).  When Paul the Jew went to Athens he may have discussed the writings of the Prophets of Truth in the synagogue but he only preached about what the Man of Truth did on this earth with the idol worshiping Gentiles in the market place (Acts 17:16-18).  When Paul the Jew was examined about his preaching on Mars Hill (Areopagus) he started with telling these Gentiles that he came to proclaim to them the unknown God that they worshiped without knowing (Acts 17:19-23).   He then told them that the Father of Truth was the unknown God who their ancestors had left to worship idols (Acts 17:24-29).  He then told them about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth so they could return to worshiping the Father of Truth (Acts 17:30-32).  Paul the Jew told only about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth because that was all that was needed to cause some of these idol worshiping Gentiles to come into the House of Truth (Acts 17:33-34).

So without fail Paul the Jew gave the highest priority to what the Man of Truth did on this Earth.  When he dealt with Jews and Gentile proselytes who knew the writings of the Prophets of Truth then he used those writings to show that his message about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth was true.  When he dealt with Gentiles who worshiped idols then he told them only about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth because that was all that was needed for them to come into the House of Truth.  It was only after these Gentiles came into the House of Truth that he taught them about the writings of the Prophets of Truth.  Paul the Jew plainly demonstrated in his second mission to the Gentiles that starting with the writings of the Prophets of Truth before telling people about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth is putting the cart before the horse.

When Paul the Jew was among the people of Corinth he preached about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth (1 Corinthians 1:17-18).  It was preaching about what the Man of Truth did on this earth that cased both the Jews and Gentiles of Corinth to come into the House of Truth (1 Corinthians 1:21-24).  It is for this reason that Paul the Jew sought not to be known among the Corinthian Children of Truth for anything except the message of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth as confirmed by the Spirit of Truth working signs and wonders (1 Corinthians 2:1-5).  Paul the Jew gave what the Man of Truth did on this Earth top priority because giving anything else top priority would have been putting the cart before the horse.

So the Apostles of Truth consistently started with what the Man of Truth did on this Earth when they brought both Jews and Gentiles into the House of Truth.  In fact, when they dealing with Gentiles who did not know anything about the writings of the Prophets of Truth they did not even mention those writing when telling them how to come into the House of Truth.  They gave the highest priority to telling people about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth.  This is the minimum information that people need to come into the House of Truth.

The four Gospels tell the story of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth from four different perspectives that are tailored towards four different kinds of people.  (There are four different basic personality types as well.) The writings of the Apostles of Truth have a higher priority than the writings of the Prophets of Truth as has already been demonstrated.  That is why when people first come into the House of Truth they should begin at the middle of the Book of Truth in the Gospel of Matthew and go forward from there to the end of the writings of the Apostles of Truth.

So does this mean that the Apostles of Truth taught people only about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth?

No it does not.  The Apostles of Truth constantly quoted from the writings of the Prophets of Truth in their own writings (Romans 9:17).  They constantly held up the writings of the Prophets of Truth as the standard for proving that their own writings were from the Father of Truth (Romans 16:25-27).  They constantly showed that their message was in no way at odds with the writings of the Prophets of Truth (1 Corinthians 15:2-4).  Their constantly showed that the message they proclaimed to bring the Gentiles into the House of Truth had always been part of the plan laid out in the writings of the Prophets of Truth (Galatians 3:8).   They showed that the writings of the Prophets of Truth had convicted everyone of sin so that everyone could come into the House of Truth (Galatians 3:22).  They affirmed that all scripture, including the writings of the Prophets of Truth, were profitable for helping the Children of Truth become like the Man of Truth (2 Timothy 3:15-17).  They taught that the writings of the Prophets of Truth were just as necessary as their own writings to avoid falling into error (2 Peter 3:15-17).

So the writings of the Apostles of Truth start off with what the Man of Truth did on this Earth and proceed to explain how that fits in the big picture of the redemption of the human race.  However, the Apostles of Truth knew that the Children of Truth eventually were going to need the details of how to do the things they wrote about at a high level so they directed the Children of Truth towards the writings of the Prophets of Truth after they were firmly in the House of Truth.  That is why after people finish reading the writings of the Apostles they should go to Genesis and go forward from there to the end of the writings of the Prophets of Truth.

Now you might be wondering why things have to be done in this order.  Why can people not just start off in the writings of the Prophets of Truth and go forward from there?  Why is this putting the cart before the horse?

The human heart is exceedingly wicked and deceitful above all things (Jeremiah 17:9).  This why those who were given the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) could not keep it (John 7:19).  Those who received the Law of Truth by the hands of the Angels of Truth still did not keep it (Acts 7:53).  Since a wicked heart cannot keep the Law of Truth then people need the Man of Truth to change them first (Acts 13:38-39).  The Law of Truth can only bring condemnation to those who cannot keep it (Romans 2:11-13).  People cannot keep the Law of Truth because their flesh is too weak to keep it so they need the Man of Truth to change them (Romans 8:3).  People cannot understand the writings of the Prophet of Truth correctly until the Man of Truth removes the veil from their hearts (2 Corinthians 3:14-16).   It is utterly useless to read the writings of the Prophets of Truth until the Man of Truth gives them the ability to keep the Law of Truth (Galatians 2:16-18).  This is why the Man of Truth had to die for people so they could understand the writings of the Prophets of Truth (Galatians 2:19-21).

The Father of Truth has to circumcise the fleshly covering from off the human heart before people can love Him with all their heart (Deuteronomy 30:6).  The Father of Truth has to give them a new heart before they can keep His commandments (Ezekiel 11:19-20).   The Father of Truth gives them a new heart so they can keep His commandments by putting the Spirit of Truth inside them (Ezekiel 36:26-27). This is why the Man of Truth said that people must be born again through the Spirit of Truth (John 3:3-7).  The Man of Truth had to die to cleanse people from sin before the Spirit of Truth could be sent to live in them (John 16:7).  The Spirit of Truth changes the human heart so that people can live in peace with the Father of Truth by keeping His commandments (Romans 8:4-6).  The Spirit of Truth only comes to live inside of people as the Father of Truth promised after they believe the message about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth (Ephesians 1:13).

The Father of Truth wants people to repent so that they can receive a new heart and the Spirit of Truth because He has no pleasure in destroying sinners (Ezekiel 18:30-32).  The first thing people must be told is what the Man of Truth did on this Earth because there is no other name whereby they can be saved (Acts 4:10-12).  It is telling people what the Man of Truth did on this Earth that saves those who believe the message (Romans 1:15-17).  People cannot come into the House of Truth until they surrender control of their lives to the Man of Truth because they believe that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).  Everyone, Jew and Gentile, who believes the message of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth will be saved (Romans 10:11-13).  It is only by preaching about what the Man of Truth did on this Earth that people can come into the House of Truth by hearing the message of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth and believing that message (Romans 10:14-17).

Come into the House of Truth.

The Unchanging Law

What place does the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) have in the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament)?

I have heard a lot of discussion about the place of the Law of Truth in the Renewed Covenant among the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) lately.

Of course, I heard the usual extremes.  One extreme is, that the Law of Truth has been done away with in the Renewed Covenant, so nothing from the Original Covenant (Tanach aka The Old Testament) applies to us today.  Those, who espouse this view, will say, that we are not under the Law of Truth, so there is no need to obey any of the commandments of the Original Covenant to be saved.

The other extreme is, that the Law of Truth has not been done away with in the Renewed Covenant, so everything in the Original Covenant applies to us today.  Those, who espouse this view, will say, that we must obey every commandment in the Original Covenant to be saved.

Still for many of the Children of Truth neither of these extremes seem to be right.  The first view leads to complete lawlessness while the second one leads to complete hopelessness.  They intuitively know that the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) has not given them a license to kill in the Renewed Covenant.  They also intuitively know that keeping every commandment of the Original Covenant can never save them.

Many of them are genuinely concerned about what the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) wants them to do about the Law of Truth because they desire to live a life that is pleasing to him.  Yet when they ask five religious professionals this question they get ten conflicting answers.  This is because the religious professionals usually do not know the answer either.

Many religious professionals have been struggling with this question themselves.  For example, there is one pastor that comes up frequently when I turn on my television before I go to bed.  This is not really his area of expertise but he has been trying to address it in his sermons for almost a year now.  It is obviously a concern of his congregation that he simply does not really know how to the answer.

This is not a criticism of that pastor.  Like most people in most professions, religious professionals often reach a point where they have to specialize.  The Father of Truth has not burdened anyone with having to know everything but rather has the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) divide the work up among many people.  Like anyone in any other profession once someone start specializing in one area it takes away time from studying other things.  He has spent years studying other matters in the Book of Truth (The Bible) that were assigned to him by the Spirit of Truth and telling what he has learned to others.  He has been faithful to lead his congregation in following the Man of Truth to the best of his ability.  He simply has not had to time to study this question out because that would take away from his main assignment that the Spirit of Truth gave him.

Like in any other profession, he has probably tried to consult other religious professionals who claim to have studied this out more thoroughly.  He has probably found the same range of contradicting opinions as his congregants.  So he has done his best to understand and explain the place that the Law of Truth has in the Renewed Covenant.  Still it is obvious that while he has a general idea he is still fuzzy about the details.

Fortunately, this is not an unanswerable question.  Like everything, the Book of Truth tells us the truth about this.

The Spirit of Truth has been given to the Children of Truth to lead them into all truth (John 16:13).  The Father of Truth is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33).  We can find the answer to any question about living a life that is pleasing to Him by studying and rightly dividing the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15).  It is the work of the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan Aka The Devil) to create confusion (James 3:16).

The first thing to recognize is that the term "the law" has different meanings in the Book of Truth depending upon the context.  For example, the Original Covenant is composed of the Law, the Prophets and the Psalms (Luke 24:44).  ( The word "Tenakh" is an acronym for "Torah, Nevi'im, And K'tuvim" which literally means "Law, Prophets, And Writings".  The writings are often referred to as "the Psalms" because Psalms is the first book of the Writings in the original arrangement of the Original Covenant that is still used by Jews today.)  The Law portion contains the first five books of the Renewed Covenant including Genesis (Bereshit) because it contains the Law that the Father of Truth gave to Moses (1 Corinthians 9:9).  Yet the entire Original Covenant is sometimes referred to as the Law because the Law portion is the first portion of the Original Covenant just like all of the writings are called the Psalms because the book of Psalms is the first book in the writings (1 Corinthians 14:21).

So then what is the Law of Truth?

The Law of Truth is NOT the same thing as the Original Covenant nor is it the same thing as the Law that the Father of Truth gave to Moses.  Abraham (Abram) kept the Law of Truth (Genesis 26:3-5).  Abraham kept the Law of Truth because he loved the Father of Truth (Deuteronomy 11:1).  This was over four hundred years before the Father of Truth gave the Law to Moses (Moishe) on Mount Sinai (Galatians 3:16-18).  In fact, Gentiles who did not have the Law that the Father of Truth gave to Moses could still keep the Law of Truth because the Law that the Father of Truth gave to Moses contained the Law of Truth (Romans 2:14).  More than that the Law of Truth that defines the righteousness of the Law that the Father of Truth gave to Moses does not depend upon a Gentile becoming a Jew through circumcision (Romans 2:26).  So the Law of Truth is something different than the Original Covenant or the Law that the Father of Truth gave to Moses since both Abraham and Gentiles were able to keep without the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses or the Original Covenant.

So the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses contains the Law of Truth so that the children of Abraham would be able to love the Father of Truth in the same way as Abraham (Deuteronomy 10:12-13).  Yet the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses contains the Law of Truth plus other things just as the first five books of the Original Covenant contain the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses plus other things (1 Kings 2:3).   While all the commandments of the Law of Truth are included in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses, not every commandment in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses is part of the Law of Truth.  It is like the way that every rose is a flower but not ever flower is a rose.

So the Original Covenant contains the Law, the Law contains the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses and the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses contains the Law of Truth.

So which commandments in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses are the commandments of the Law of Truth?

The commandments of the Law of Truth are those that Abraham and Gentiles without the Law that the Father of Truth gave to Moses were able to keep.  The first place to begin is considering which of the over six hundred commandments in the Law that the Father of Truth gave to Moses that it was not possible for Abraham to keep.

The fact is that about four hundred of the commandments that the Father of Truth gave Moses deal with the Tabernacle (that was replaced later with the Temple) and the Levitical priesthood.

The Tabernacle did not exist in the days of Abraham and was not even possible to construct until the Father of Truth showed Moses the pattern for building the Tabernacle (Exodus 25:9).  There could be no Tabernacle built before Moses was shown the pattern on Mount Sinai (Exodus 25:40).

There could be no Levitical priests without the Tabernacle (Exodus 29:44).   The Levitical priests could not carry out the rituals of the Tabernacle until after the Tabernacle was built (Leviticus 8:1-10).  The Levitical priest were descendents of Abraham who were born more than two hundred years after Abraham died (Hebrews 7:5).  Abraham could not have went to the Levitical priests to carry out the commandments of the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses concerning the rituals carried out by the Levitical priesthood since the entire tribe of Levi was still in his loins when Abraham was keeping the Law of Truth (Hebrews 7:9-10).

Even in the days of Moses the commandments concerning the Tabernacle and the Levitical priesthood could not be kept until the Tabernacle had been build and dedicated (Numbers 7:1-3).  The Tabernacle on Earth and the Levitical priesthood was only a copy of the Tabernacle in Heaven and the priesthood of the Man of Truth so they had to be revealed by the Father of Truth before the Tabernacle could be built and the Levitical priesthood could start operating in the Tabernacle (Hebrews 8:4-5).  So all of the commandments in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses concerning the Tabernacle and the Levitical Priesthood could not be part of the Law of Truth that Abraham kept.

The same is true for the commandments concerning the Feasts of Truth.  The very first Feast of Truth is Passover (Pesach) and it could only be observed as a memorial of the deliverance from Egypt after the descendants of Abraham were delivered from Egypt (Exodus 12:42-50).  The rest of the Feasts of Truth were added after the descendents of Abraham were in the wilderness (Leviticus 23:1-4).  Not only that but it is impossible to keep the Feasts of Truth in the way commanded in the Law that the Father of Truth gave to Moses without the Tabernacle and the Levitical priesthood (Leviticus 23:5-38).

In fact, the commandment concerning the men of Israel going up to meet The Father of Truth three times a year was only in effect when the descendents of Abraham were in the Promised Land so this commandment was not in effect during the entire lifetime of Moses (Exodus 34:18-24).  So all the commandments that the Father of Truth gave to Moses concerning the Feasts of Truth could not be part of the Law of Truth that Abraham kept.

More than that there were also various other commandments that only concerned the descendents of Abraham when they were in the Promised Land.  For example,  there were the commandments concerning the king that the Father of Truth would set over them after they took possession of the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 17:14-20).  Abraham did not possess the Promised Land (Acts 7:2-5).  So all the commandments that the Father of Truth gave to Moses concerning possession of the Promised Land could not be part of the Law of Truth that Abraham kept.

So what about the remaining commandments of the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses?

The Sabbath had been given to Adam and Eve (Chavah) for a day of rest at the end of the very first week of the existence of this present world (Genesis 2:2-3).  The Father of Truth had already revealed to Noah (Noach) which animals were food and which were filth before people even began to eat meat (Genesis 7:1-3).  Abraham was already paying tithes to the Minister of Truth in his day (Genesis 14:18-20).  The commandment had already been given for a man to marry the widow of his brother if his brother had died childless hundreds of years before the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses was given on Mount Sinai (Genesis 38:8-10).

Not only that, but all of the commandments in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses that concern treating Him and other people with love are part of the Law of Truth.  These commandments written out in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses are just the details of fulfilling the commandment to love the Father of Truth will all of your being and to love other people as you love yourself (Matthew 22:36-40).  Those who keep the commandments written in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses concerning how to treat other people fulfill the commandment to love their neighbors as themselves (Romans 13:8-10).  Those who keep the commandments written in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses concerning how to how to treat Him fulfill the commandment to love Him with all their being (1 John 5:3).

You see the Law of Truth is the unchanging law because love is unchanging (1 Corinthians 13:8).

However the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses was never unchanging.  Different commandments have been in effect at different times and were even given at different times.  It was only those commandments written in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses that are part of the Law of Truth that are unchanging.

For example, as already noted, Passover was given first and then later the other Feasts of Truth were given.  The commandment to wear tzitzits (tassels with a blue thread) on the corner of the garments was given to help the Children of Truth remember to keep His commandments some time after the bulk of the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses was given at Mount Sinai (Numbers 15:37-40).  The commandment concerning the preservation of the inheritance of a man who had only daughters was given years later (Numbers 36:5-7).

Not only that but Jeremiah (Yeremayahu) the Prophet of Truth said by the Spirit of Truth that the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses was taken away when He destroyed the Tabernacle (Temple) (Lamentations 2:6-9).  When the Temple was rebuilt then those commandments in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses were back in effect (Ezra 6:15-22).  Even Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka the Apostle Paul) continued to keep these commandments as long as the Temple was still standing (Acts 21:26).

Yet the Man of Truth, THE PROPHET OF TRUTH, said that for a second time the means of worshiping the Father of Truth by keeping the commandments of the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses would be taken away (John 4:20-21).  So these commandments have no effect today.

Still when the Man of Truth rules the Earth an even larger Temple will be built and those same commandments will be back in effect (Ezekiel 41:1-3).  In fact, even the Gentile men from all nations will have to come to Jerusalem every year to keep the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) (Zechariah 14:16-19).  The Man of Truth said that every commandment of the Law of Moses will be in effect until Heaven and Earth are replaced (Matthew 5:17-18).

Finally, these commandments concerning the Temple and the Levitical priesthood will no longer be in effect forever because there will be no Temple in the new Jerusalem when there is a new Heaven and a new Earth (Revelation 21:22).

So while the commandments of the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses will not change since the time they were first written, they are not always in effect.  However, the commandments of the Law of Truth are always in effect because love is always in effect.

Not only that but the entire Original Covenant has been replaced by the Renewed Covenant.  The Father of Truth said He would make the Renewed Covenant with the house of Israel because they did not keep the Original Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-32).  Since He found fault with them for not continuing to keep the Original Covenant then He had to replace the Original Covenant with the Renewed Covenant (Hebrews 8:8-9).  The Renewed Covenant completely obsoleted the Original Covenant when it came into effect (Hebrews 8:13). [The Greek word translated as "new" is "kainos" which is literally "renewed".  Strong's Concordance incorrectly and inconsistently translates it as "new" even though "ainos" means "new".  In the Septuagint the Greek word "kainos" is the translation of the Hebrew word "chadashah" which Strong's Concordance correctly translates as "renewed".  So both the Hebrew scriptures of the Original Covenant and the Greek scriptures of the Renewed Covenant call it the "Renewed Covenant" instead of the "New Covenant".]

It is worth noting that the commandments in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses that are part of the Law of Truth did not change when the Renewed Covenant came into effect.  The truth is that most of the commandments that carried the death penalty in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses still carry the death penalty in the Renewed Covenant (Romans 1:28-32).  The Law of Truth has never changed because it is the unchanging law.

Another example is that of cross dressing (dressing like the opposite sex).  This was forbidden in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses (Deuteronomy 22:5).  It is still forbidden in the Renewed Covenant (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). [The Greek word "malakos" translated as "effeminate" literally means "to be made soft to the touch". (malakos)  It was used in Ancient Greek literature of men who made themselves soft to the touch by dressing like a woman.  They were usually involved in homosexuality in some way which also listed in this same passage as keeping people out of the kingdom of the Father of Truth.]

You see the Man of Truth could not have changed the Law of Truth because he never changes (Hebrews 13:8).  The Father of Truth will not change the Law of Truth because He never changes (James 1:17).  The Law of Truth is the unchanging law.

So it is the exact same commandments concerning pretty much everything in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses except for those things that are only in effect part of the time, like the services of the Temple, that are continued in the Renewed Covenant.  There are less than two hundred commandments in the Law of Truth.  (By contrast the entirety of the Renewed Covenant has 1,050 commandments including those in the Law of Truth.)

It is worth noting that not even all of the commandments in the Law of Truth are equal.  The Man of Truth said that the commandments concerning judgement, mercy and faith were weightier matters of the Law of Truth than the commandment to pay tithes (Matthew 23:23).  It is important to make sure that we are careful to not be so focused on keeping the lessor matters of the Law  that we become hindered in taking care of the weightier matters of the Law.

For example, it does not matter if you know who changed the Sabbath and keep the Biblical Sabbath when you are not loving your neighbor as yourself.   Whose Sabbath are you keeping if you neglect showing love to other people?  It is taking care of other people that guarantees that you will never be bored on the Sabbath.

This is not to endorse ignoring any commandment of the Law of Truth for the Man of Truth said that we are not teach anyone ignore even the least of these commandments if we want to be great in his kingdom (Matthew 5:19).  The Children of Truth should be walking in truth in every area of life.

They should avoid using practices that come from idolatry when they worship their Father (Deuteronomy 12:2-4).  Their Father desires that they worship him in truth by the Spirit of Truth (John 4:23-24).   They should be seeking to rid their lives of everything that comes from the Father of Lies so they can enjoy everything that comes from their Father (Romans 13:11-13).  They should seek to have nothing to do with these useless works that come from the Father of Lies once they know the truth about them (Ephesians 5:8-12).  The Father of Truth still wants His Children to have absolutely nothing to do with those things that came from the practices of idol worship (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).  The Law of Truth is the unchanging law.

Therefore they should be like the Mensch who killed Christmas when it comes to every holiday and custom that comes from idolatry.  They need to be cleaning up the Christmas mess.  They should be avoiding every practice that comes from idolatry including all of the wickedness that is found in Ash Wednesday.

There is also no difference between the commandments of the Original Covenant and the Renewed Covenant about being careful about what's on your head to avoid idolatrous practices because the Law of Truth is the unchanging law.

The Children of Truth will be healthier when they avoid what the Father of Truth calls filth and only eat what He calls food when they decide what's for dinner.  They will never wonder "Does it matter what I eat?".  They will know that what the Law of Truth says about food is more than just food for thought.  The definition of food and filth never changed because the Law of Truth is the unchanging law.

The Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses is powerless to save because no one has ever kept it except for the Man of Truth (John 7:19).  The truth is that people can only come into the House of Truth by faith in the Man of Truth and no one can be justified by keeping the commandments of the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses (Acts 13:38-39).  The flesh of people keeps them from being able to keep the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses (Romans 8:3).  The Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses could only make people righteous if they obeyed every commandment of it all the time without fail (Romans 10:5).

It was the demand of the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses that we die for our sins that the Man of Truth nailed to the cross when he died in our place (Colossians 2:13-15).  The Children of Truth are not under the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses when the Spirit of Truth leads them into keeping the Law of Truth (Galatians 5:16-18).  The Renewed Covenant is the Father of Truth writing the same Law of Truth on the hearts of the Children of Truth that He wrote on stone in the Law that He gave to Moses (Hebrews 8:10-13).

The Father of Truth gave the Spirit of Truth to the Children of Truth so they could keep the Law of Truth (Ezekiel 36:26-27).  The Children of Truth were delivered from the law of dying because they had sinned when they came under the law of the Spirit of Truth changing them to be like the Man of Truth (Romans 8:1-2).  The Children of Truth can keep the Law of Truth because the Spirit of Truth gives them the ability to do so (Romans 8:3-4). The Father of Truth writes the Law of Truth on the hearts of the Children of Truth to put an end to sin because the Law of Truth is the unchanging law (Hebrews 10:15-17).

So the Children of Truth are not given a license to kill and otherwise act lawlessly when they come into the House of Truth because the Law of Truth is the unchanging law.  Neither are the Children of Truth left with the hopelessly trying to keep the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses without the ability to do so.  The Children of Truth can keep the same Law of Truth that Abraham kept because it is the unchanging law.

The Children of Truth are under no obligation to keep anything in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses that is not part of the Law of Truth.  As it has already been shown that everything in the Law of Truth is part of the Renewed Covenant.

This does not mean that the Children of Truth cannot receive any benefit from observing what they can from the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses that is not part of the Law of Truth.

For example, it's not just a Jewish thing to keep the holidays that their Father has provided for them.  So even though they do not have to keep these holidays to be in the House of Truth they will never understand things like the Greatest Play Ever until they do.  They just need to remember that they cannot keep these holidays in every detail that is commanded in the Law that the Father of Truth gave Moses because without the Temple they are playing with broken toys.

No one can keep the Law of Truth until they come into the House of Truth by being born again (John 3:3).  The beginning of being able to keep the Law of Truth is surrendering control of your life to the Man of Truth because you believe that His Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).  When you come into the House of Truth then you will start keeping the Law of Truth (1 Peter 2:9).  You will become like the Man of Truth when you come into the House of Truth so that you are keeping the unchanging law (1 John 4:15-17).

Come into the House of Truth.
