The Vow

Why did God raise my son from the dead?

My son was hospitalized with Covid.  The problem was that he was part of a small minority whose immune system did not respond to it.

Doctors gave him no chance of surviving for more than a few days.  However, the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) told me that he would live, but he would have a long recovery.

The Father of Truth then told me that I had to post this on all the groups on Facebook and on my page first.  Only afterwards, would He bring it to pass.

So, I did as the Father of Truth said.  When the attending physician saw him next, he could not believe that it was the same patient that he had treated three days earlier before the Labor Day weekend.

However, this journey had just begun.  His immune system was still acting like nothing was wrong.

My son gave my wife power of attorney, and she was with him constantly in the hospital room with only a brief time off to come home to eat and get clean clothes.  Her past experiences kept her calm for she had seen the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) stand between The Impossible Girl and death three times.

I went into prayer and fasting mode.  Every day the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) would give me instructions for the doctors that I would pass to my wife who told them.

Against all odds, my son continued to get better as long as the doctors followed those instructions.  However, a department head doctor - who knew nothing about the case - gave instructions contrary to the instructions that the doctors on the case had given just to exert his authority.

That doctor placed his ego over the welfare of the patient.  This hospital had been taken over by an out-of-state corporation and now it was operating the same way as most of Corporate America.

Soon, my son took a serious turn for the worst.  He stopped responding to treatments altogether and went downhill fast.

So, I pled with the Father of Truth to save him as He had said would and vowed that if He saved my son and return him to his own home, then I would tell everyone that He had done so.  I would also make sure they knew that this was done to confirm the message of the Book of Truth:  That there was no god but the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that this God has a son – the Man of Truth –who He raised from the dead and that there was no salvation without total surrender to His son.

Soon, afterwards my son died despite every effort of medical science to save him.  However, God raised him from the dead shortly afterwards.

The doctors were in shock.  Soon, the story got out and it was on two of the local news stations.  The tagline for the story was “Do you believe in miracles?”.

I was not, however.  This was not the first time that the Father of Truth had done something like this when I had prayed fervently.

This cycle of hearing instructions from the Spirit of Truth, my wife passing on the instructions to the doctors, and my son recovering against all odds as they followed those instructions continued.  However, several more times his recovery was delayed by someone who did know anything about his case making decisions wrecking his recovery by giving their own instructions.

My son had to go to multiple places during his long recovery, and this happened at every single place.  My wife and I would then pray for the Father of Truth to remove the person from his case.  The Father of Truth did so every time.

So, the attitude of Corporate America was not isolated to just one department of one hospital.  It has spread throughout the medical industry like a cancer.

During this time, I caught Covid twice and followed the advice that I had given others.  So, I worked right through it without taking a single sick day.

Finally, my son came home – something that those who kept giving their own instructions said would never happen.  The Father of Truth had done what I asked despite the best efforts of Corporate America to kill my son.

Now it was time for me to fulfill my vow.

Ever since my son had returned home, I had been telling everyone I could about how the Father of Truth had raised him from the dead, as I had vowed to do.  This included total strangers wherever I went.

I had told some of my colleagues at work, but somehow it seemed like I needed to do more there.  It was difficult since we were still working from home.

I needed to do more to fulfill my vow first.  Then the Spirit of Truth gave me a very clear and bold plan of action.

So, I crafted an e-mail with a link to a TV news story about my son dying and coming back to life on it.  I explained that the Father of Truth did this to confirm the message that I had told many of them was really from Him.

I explained that this miracle was proof that there was a God, and the Father of Truth was that God.  It was proof that the Father of Truth was the only God that there was.  It was proof that the Father of Truth had a son and that was the Man of Truth.

I explained that there was salvation in no other name but that of the Man of Truth.  I explained that there was no salvation without true repentance and there was no true repentance without total surrender to the Man of Truth.  I closed with pleading people to come to the Man of Truth in total surrender.

Then I sent that e-mail to everyone I knew that was still in the company – including the CIO and many of the other top executives.  I expected to get fired, but I had done what I had vowed to do.

However, I was not fired.  I really do not know why, except that they could not deny that my son had come back from the dead.

Instead, I ended up working there for over another year.  So, on the first Lazarus Day – the yearly anniversary celebration of the Father of Truth raising my son from the dead – I celebrated this with my co-workers in the Tulsa office.

That is not the only thing that I have done to fulfill the vow.

I have also published the news story about my son coming back to life on social media.  I have told many people in person about this – including when I took my wife to Hawaii.

I have talked about this in my sermons and lessons that I post on-line.  I have written about it in this blog.

I made a vow to the Father of Truth, and I have done everything that I can to keep it.  I want everyone to know that the message of His salvation is true.

It is for this very reason that the Father of Truth did this for me.  It is about confirming that He has raised His son from the dead.

For decades before this happened to my son, I had been telling people everywhere this.  When I went out for lunch with my co-workers the message of His salvation always came up.

It did not matter if my co-workers were Atheists, Hindus, Muslims, or followers of the Rabbis.  Everyone needs to hear about the Father of Truth raising His son from the dead.

It was not just His son that had been raised from the dead long before He raised my son from the dead.  I had also been raised from the dead.

I was made alive again when I came into the House of Truth (Romans 6:4).  I had been dead in trespasses and sin before that (Ephesians 2:1).

This was far greater than the Father of Truth raising my son from the dead.  Someday his body will die again, but my spirit will never die because the Man of Truth is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25-26).

I am now dead to sin, but alive unto the Father of Truth (Romans 6:9-11).  The life I now live, I live because of the resurrection of the Man of Truth (Galatians 2:20).

My life is hidden in the Father of Truth (Colossians 3:3).  I am dead to doing what is wrong in His eyes and alive to doing what is right in His eyes because what the Man of Truth did for me at calvary (1 Peter 2:24).

I no longer live for myself but for the Man of Truth because I have been made a brand-new creation (2 Corinthians 5:15-17).  He is not just having a place in my life - he is my life (Colossians 3:4)!

I had earned death by my sins, but the Father of Truth gave me life through His son (Romans 6:23).  However, the law of the living in the Man of Truth through the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) freed me from the law of being sentenced to death for sin (Romans 8:2).

I was under the sentence of death, because my mind had been ruled by the desires of my body and could not obey the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) - which can only be done through the Spirit of Truth (Romans 8:4-7).  The Spirit of Truth came to live in me when I was raised from the dead, so now I can live to do what is pleasing in the eyes of the Father of Truth (Romans 8:8-10).

This is the power of the Gospel that makes us able to do what is right in the eyes of the Father of Truth through faith in the Man of Truth (Romans 1:16-17).  This is the power that is denied by many behind the pulpit because they love pleasure more than the Father of Truth (2 Timothy 3:4-5).

So things like raising the dead are done to confirm the power of the Gospel to save.

The Man of Truth told his disciples to raise the dead when they preached the Gospel (Matthew 10:7-8).  The Father of Truth raised the dead when the Man of Truth asked Him to confirm the message of the Gospel (John 5:19-21).

The Man of Truth has promised that this same power would be there when we preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15-18).  He has promised that we would do greater things than he has done when we ask for the Father of Truth to confirm the message of the Gospel (John 14:12-13).

So, the power confirms the message of Gospel when it is preached (Mark 16:20).  Those who bring the Gospel come with the power to confirm the message of the Gospel (Romans 15:18-19).

The preaching of the Gospel is not to be done with enticing words that cause people to put their faith in us, but with demonstrations of power that cause them to put their faith in the Father of Truth (1 Corinthians 2:1-5).  It is not to be in words only, but the message is to be confirmed with power (1 Thessalonians 1:5).

However, there are no demonstrations of power when people turn aside from preaching the Gospel to avoid persecution (Matthew 13:20-21).  There are no demonstrations of power when they allow the pleasures of this world to keep them from preaching the Gospel (Matthew 13:22).

These demonstrations of power only come when people do not allow these things to keep them from faithfully preaching the Gospel (Matthew 13:23).  It only comes upon those who have counted the cost and have placed the Man of Truth above everything else (Luke 14:26-30).

The Man of Truth was hated by the world because the message of the Gospel was that they were wicked (John 7:5-7).  The message of the Gospel is hated by those who reject it because it is a death sentence to them (2 Corinthians 2:16)

So, the Children of Truth are also hated when they preach about the Man of Truth (Luke 6:22).  They are hated for the Gospel that he gave them to preach (John 17:14).

Therefore, the wonder working power of the Gospel is demonstrated to make it apparent who is preaching the Gospel and who is just putting on a religious show (Acts 4:13-18).  This separates those who are preaching the Gospel from those who are puffed up in religious pride (1 Corinthians 4:19-20).

So, the Father of Truth raised my son from the dead to confirm that I was preaching His message.  I continue to do this as I keep the vow that I made.

Are you ready to be raised from the dead as well?

You have sinned just like everyone else (Romans 3:23).  You are already dead for sin brings death (Romans 5:12).

If you will hear the message of the Gospel and believe it is from the Father of Truth, then you will go from death to life (John 5:24).  You will be raised from the dead when you sins are forgiven (Colossians 2:12-13).

You will be able to do what is right in the eyes of the Father of Truth after you have been raised from the dead (Romans 6:13).  Your sinful nature will die and you will rise from the dead to live a new life with the nature of the Man of Truth (Galatians 2:20).

So, you must lose the life your life to follow the Man of Truth in order to gain the life he offers (Matthew 16:24-25).  You must hate the life that you have been living in this world to gain eternal life (John 12:25).

You do this by doing what the Man of Truth commands, for destruction will come upon those who do not obey his commandments (Luke 6:46-49).  You cannot love him and know him without keeping his commandments (John 14:21).

You cannot enter his kingdom by just calling him “Lord”, but you must also do the will of the Father of Truth (Matthew 7:21).  You cannot love the Father of Truth without keeping His commandments (1 John 5:1-3).

This will cause the world to persecute you like it persecuted the Man of Truth (John 15:18-21).  Everyone who lives like him will be persecuted by the world (2 Timothy 3:12).

So, you must endure this hatred until the end of your life on Earth to be saved (Matthew 10:21-22).  If you withdraw from the fight to escape persecution, then you will be destroyed with the world (Hebrews 10:38-39).

You cannot make peace with the world and have peace with the Father of Truth (James 4:4).  If you live a life of compromise, then the Man of Truth will spit you out (Revelation 3:15-16).

However, everything that you will suffer cannot compare to what you will gain from coming to the Man of Truth in total surrender (2  Corinthians 4:16-18).  For only those who keep the commandments of the Father of Truth will enter His eternal kingdom while everyone else will suffer eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 22:14-15).

So, come into the House of Truth by committing to obey the Man of Truth in everything because you believe that his Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  Then you will also be raised from the dead with him (Ephesians 2:5-7).
