Manifestations Of The Spirit

What are manifestations of the Spirit?

A manifestation is when the presence of one thing that is apparent by the effect that it has on something else.

For example, electricity cannot be seen, but its presence can be known by its effect on something else.  When something occurs to make the presence of electricity known, it is a manifestation of electricity.

Electricity can have its presence known by someone feeling an electrical shock.  Electricity can have its presence known by producing a humming sound as it goes through wires.  Electricity can have its presence known by super heating ions to the point that they produce light when lightning occurs.   Electricity can have its presence know by causing a change in state of an object, like say, causing a fan to blow.

It is no different with the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost).  Although the Spirit of Truth is everywhere at all times, the presence of the Spirit of Truth is not always apparent.  Something that people can experience, has to occur for the presence of the Spirit of Truth to be made known.

When something occurs to make the presence of the Spirit of Truth known, it is a manifestation of the Spirit of Truth.  Manifestations of the Spirit of Truth occur at different levels.

When some people talk about manifestations of the Spirit of Truth, they are talking about personal experiences that they might have had, whether when assembled with other believers in prayer, or when they are spending time alone with the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) in prayer.

They will talk about feeling the Spirit of Truth.  They will talk about hearing the voice of the Spirit of Truth.  They will talk about seeing the Spirit of Truth as something like a bright cloud in a vision.  They will talk about being given a dream by the Spirit of Truth.

These things happen to the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) when they pray.  The presence of the Spirit of Truth is evident only to the individuals having the experiences.  These are personal manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.  They are the lowest level of manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

When other people talk about manifestations of the Spirit of Truth, they are talking about the effect that the Spirit of Truth had on the Children of Truth when they assembled together.

They will talk about the Spirit of Truth being at their church service.  They will talk about being in the presence of the Spirit of Truth at a meeting.  They will talk about the Spirit of Truth moving in a revival.  They will talk about people coming under the conviction of the Spirit of Truth at a crusade.  They will talk about people falling under the power of the Spirit of Truth in a camp meeting.

These things happen when the Children of Truth assemble together.  The presence of the Spirit of Truth is evident by what is happening to people in these services. These are collective manifestations of the Spirit of Truth. They are the next level of manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

However, there is a higher level of the manifestation of the Spirit of Truth than personal or collective manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.  The highest level of the manifestation of the Spirit of Truth on Earth, is when the Spirit of Truth does something in the physical world to make the presence of the Spirit of Truth evident to everyone there.

These physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth on Earth occur throughout the Book of Truth (The Bible).

The smoke from the furnace and the fire that burned in the lamp, which passed in the midst of the sacrifices made by Abraham (Abram), were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Genesis 15:9-17).

The fire that did not consume the bush, that the Father of Truth called out to Moses (Moishe) from, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Exodus 3:1-4).

The thunders, lightnings, thick cloud, sound of a trumpet, fire, smoke, and the shaking of Mount Sinai, when the Father of Truth came to give the commandments to Moses and the people of Israel, were seven physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Exodus 19:16-18).

The thunders, lightnings, sound of the trumpet, smoke, and the thick cloud that caused darkness, when the Father of Truth gave the ten commandments, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Exodus 20:18-21). [ The Hebrew word translated as "thick darkness" is a combined word derived from the words for "cloud" and "darkness", that means the darkness that comes from a thick cloud.]

The cloud, and the fire within the cloud, that covered the top of Mount Sinai when Moses went up to get the rest of the commandments of the Law of Truth, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Exodus 24:15-18).

The cloud that the Father of Truth came down in, when Moses brought the new Tablets to replace those broken by sin, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Exodus 34:4-5).

The light that shined out of the face of Moses when he came down with the replacement set of the ten commandments, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Exodus 34:28-35).

The cloud that came upon the Tabernacle when the glory of the Father of Truth was there, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Exodus 40:34-35).

The cloud by day and fire by night that hovered over the Tabernacle until it was time to move the camp of Israel, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Exodus 40:36-38).

The fire that came down from Heaven, and the glory of the Father of Truth that filled the Temple,  when Solomon dedicated the Temple, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (2 Chronicles 7:1-5).

In the future, the cloud and smoke by day, and the fire by night, above every home and every assembly in Jerusalem, will be physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Isaiah 4:3-5).

The thunder, earthquake, great noise, windstorm, lightning storm, and fire that shall happen when the Father of Truth comes to defend Ariel, will all be physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Isaiah 29:5-7).

The fire and brightness that came from the one that grabbed Ezekiel (Ichezqel) by the hair to take him to Heaven, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Ezekiel 8:1-3).

When Ezekiel prophesied in the valley of  dry bones, there was a great shaking that caused the bones to come together, have flesh grow upon them, and be covered with skin (Ezekiel 37:1-8).  When Ezekiel prophesied a second time, a breath came out of the winds that gave life to the army of dead men (Ezekiel 37:9-10).  The shaking and the wind were both physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Ezekiel 37:11-14).

The dove that landed upon the Man of Truth when he was baptized, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Matthew 3:16).

A bright light that irradiated from the Man of Truth on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-2).  The Father of Truth spoke out of a bright cloud, when He announced that the Man of Truth was His Son on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:5).  These were both physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

The shaking of the earth and lightning that was seen, when the Angel of Truth came to roll away the stone from the grave of the Man of Truth at his resurrection, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Matthew 28:2-3).

The cloud that the Man of Truth will return from Heaven in, will be a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Luke 21:27).

The Man of Truth compared the Spirit of Truth to the wind, because sometimes the wind is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (John 3:5-8).

The thunder that people heard when the Father of Truth spoke to the Man of Truth, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (John 12:28-30).

The cloud that enveloped the Man of Truth while He ascended to Heaven, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Acts 1:9-11).

The sound of the mighty rushing wind, and the tongues of fire at Pentecost, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Acts 2:1-4).

The shaking of the assembly place when the believers prayed for boldness to witness about the Man of Truth, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Acts 4:29-31).

The light that shined from the face of Stephen the Jew, like he had the face of an Angel of Truth, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Acts 6:9-15).

The shaking of the prison that opened every door and loosed every shackle, when Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka the Apostle Paul) and Silas (Silvanus) sang songs of praise, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Acts 16:23-26).

The bright light that blinded Paul the Jew when he encountered the Man of Truth on the road to Damascus, which everyone with him could see, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Acts 22:6-11).

The sound of a trumpet when the Man of Truth first spoke to John the Jew (Yochanon aka The Apostle John) on the isle of Patmos, the fire that burned in his eyes and caused his feet to look like hot brass, the sound of many waters when he spoke again, and the bright light that shined out of his face, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Revelation 1:9-16).

These physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth on Earth are only mere reflections of those in Heaven.  The physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth in Heaven are the even higher than those on Earth.  They are the highest level of manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

The Father of Truth walks around Heaven in a thick cloud that covers Him from being seen, which is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Job 22:13-14).  [The "dark cloud" is the same Hebrew word translated as "thick cloud" in other passages.  The "thick cloud" in this passage is "`ab", which means "envelop" - as in being surrounded by a cloud.]

The Father of Truth spreads His cloud upon His throne, which is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Job 26:9).

The cloudy covering above Him and the thick cloud around Him in Heaven, is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Psalm 97:2). [ "Darkness" is the same Hebrew word translated as "thick cloud" in other passages.  "Clouds" in this passage is "`anan", which means "a cloudy covering".]

The light that the Father of Truth covers Himself with in Heaven, is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Psalm 104:1-2).

In Heaven, the shaking of the door posts, the smoke, and the fire that burned in the live coal, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Isaiah 6:3-7).

Ezekiel saw a whirling cloud of fire in Heaven (Ezekiel 1:4).  He saw fire and lightning that moved in the midst of the four living creatures, which went where the Spirit of Truth went (Ezekiel 1:12-14).  He heard a sound like a voice whenever the living creatures were moving (Ezekiel 1:24).  He also saw a fire upon the man on the throne and a bright light irradiating out the throne  (Ezekiel 1:26-28).  All of these were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Ezekiel 1:28).

The cloud that filled the Temple Ezekiel saw in Heaven, which was the glory of the Father of Truth, and brightness that he saw fill the inner court, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Ezekiel 10:3-4).

The glory of the Father of Truth, that caused the Earth to shine, and the voice that sounded like noise of many waters, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth (Ezekiel 43:2-4).

The fire that Daniel saw in throne of the Ancient of Days, in His wheels, and that goes before Him, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Daniel 7:9-10).

The light in Heaven that the Father of Truth dwells in, is a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (1 Timothy 6:13-16).

The lightning, thunders, and voices that came out of the throne, and the fire in the seven lamps burning brightly before the throne, were all physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth that John the Jew witnessed in Heaven (Revelation 4:3-5).

The smoke that rises with the prayers of the Children of Truth, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth that John the Jew saw in Heaven (Revelation 8:3-4).

The cloud, the bright light shined out, and the fire that covered the Angel of Truth, and the seven thunders that sounded when the Angel of Truth spoke, were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth that John the Jew witnessed in Heaven (Revelation 10:1-4).

The cloud in Heaven that John the Jew saw the Man of Truth sitting on, when he thrust in his sickle to complete the harvest of the Earth, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Revelation 14:14-16).

The glory that lights the Earth, which John the Jew saw when the Angel of Truth was sent from Heaven, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Revelation 18:1).

The eyes of fire that John the Jew saw when the Man of Truth led his armies to Earth, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Revelation 19:11-14).

The glory that John the Jew saw give light to the New Jerusalem, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Revelation 21:23-24).

The light that John the Jew saw the Children of Truth living in, was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth (Revelation 22:3-5).

So, the presence of the Spirit of Truth on Earth is manifested physically in twelve different ways: smoke, fire, thunder, lightning, a thick cloud, a loud sound, a shaking, a bright light, a light that shines out, a strong wind, a dove, and a bright cloud.

These physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth were not just meant for the days of the Prophets of Truth and the Apostles of Truth, for the Spirit of Truth is still active among the Children of Truth.

For example, not long after I started producing the sound of power, I went to a backwoods Pentecostal church for a prayer meeting.  I asked them how long we were going to pray, and the man in charge told me, "until the rafters shake".  After about two hours of everyone praying loudly in tongues, the rafters literally shook as if they were in an earthquake.  The man in charged then dismissed us as if this nothing unusual had happened.

That shaking of the rafters was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth

Another man I knew, told about how he had came to be saved, when he experienced physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

He was driving home when he saw the top of a church building engulfed in flames and smoke pouring out.  Other people had pulled over and were outside their cars watching in dismay.  When he got out of his car, he could hear the sound of people shouting and screaming.  He asked the bystanders if anyone had called the local fire department, and one of them said that they had, and the fire truck would be there shortly.

He was a volunteer fire fighter, so he approached the building to see if he could find a way in and possibly rescue at least one person.  He touched the outside of the main door to see how hot it was, but to his surprise, it was cool.  So, he opened the door carefully and looked in cautiously.  To his amazement, there was no fire inside the church, but there were people shouting and screaming as they worshiped the Man of Truth.  He immediately ran to the altar, fell to his knees, and gave his life to the Man of Truth.

This man carried a newspaper article in his wallet that told about how dozens of people had reported seeing the fire and smoke engulf the top of the church, but when the local volunteer fire fighters arrived, they found no evidence of the church ever being on fire.

That fire and smoke at the top of the church were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.

I have heard other people give reports of one or more of these twelve physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth occurring.  Some of them I heard in person, some on radio or television, and some on the internet.  Many of these events were in rural areas, but some were in large cities.  Some occurred in the United States, while the rest occurred in other countries.

What all of these incidents had in common was, that the people who experienced them, were not seeking physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth.  In fact, like Paul the Jew, many of them had not even came into the House of Truth, when they first experienced a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth.

However, someone was seeking to do the will of the Father of Truth in some manner, and these physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth just happened - usually only once and completely unexpected.

This is what happened at Pentecost (Shavuot) when devout Jews from many countries came to seek the Father of Truth in Jerusalem at His Feast of Truth (Acts 2:1-6).

These physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth occurred as one of the ways that the Father of Truth makes Himself known to those who seek Him with all their heart, as He promised (Deuteronomy 4:29).

For example, Azariah the Prophet of Truth reminded King Asa of this promise (2 Chronicles 15:1-7).  When King Asa acted on it, both descendants of Israel and Gentiles, from both the kingdom of Israel and Judah, gathered in Jerusalem to seek after the Father of Truth (2 Chronicles 15:8-11).   So, the Father of Truth was found by these seekers in the days of King Asa, when they sought Him with all of their heart (2 Chronicles 15:12-15).

This is even true about completely misguided people.

Those who persecute the Children of Truth often believe that they are doing the will of the Father of Truth (John 16:2).  Since Paul the Jew was seeking the Father of Truth with all of his heart, even though he was completely ignorant of the truth about the Man of Truth, the Father of Truth sent the Man of Truth to him, so he could find the Father of Truth (1 Timothy 1:11-13).

When the Father of Truth kept His promise, there were physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth that everyone near Paul the Jew experienced (Acts 9:3-7).

It is no different today.  The Man of Truth has been showing himself to Muslims all over the world, because they are seeking the Father of Truth with all their heart, even though they are ignorant of the truth about the Man of Truth.  These encounters are often accompanied by physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth that everyone near them experiences.  Like Paul the Jew, these former Muslims come into the House of Truth and find the Father of Truth.

It is also true about the Children of Truth.  When they seek the Father of Truth with all their hearts in their assemblies, then they will find Him, like those seekers did in the days of King Asa.

This what happened to the assembly in Jerusalem in days of the Apostles.

The assembly sought to do the will of the Father of Truth with all of their heart (Acts 4:24-30). So there was a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth to let them know that He was with them (Acts 4:31).  This gave them the ability to them carry out His will with all their heart (Acts 4:32-35).

So, while these physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth are still occurring today, we are not seek after them.  We are to seek after the Father of Truth with all of our heart, and we will find Him - with or without a physical manifestation of the Spirit of Truth.

The only way to find the Father of Truth is through finding the Man of Truth (John 14:6).  Those who obey the Man of Truth will find the Father of Truth (John 14:23).

For this reason, whenever anyone seeks the Father of Truth with all of their heart, then He draws them to the Man of Truth (John 6:44).  The Father of Truth makes it known to them, that the Man of Truth is one spoken of by the Prophets of Truth (John 6:45).

When this happens, the Father of Truth sends the Spirit of Truth to them, to testify to the truth about the Man of Truth (John 15:26).  The Spirit of Truth then manifests to them in some manner, to confirm the truth about the Man of Truth (1 Corinthians 12:7).  The Spirit of Truth decides how to manifest to each person - including physical manifestations sometimes (1 Corinthians 12:11).

So, seek after the Father of Truth with your all your heart, and you will find Him in the House of Truth.  Come into the House of Truth, and you will experience some manifestation of the Spirit of Truth - maybe even one or more of the physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth .

You come into the House of Truth, when you make a commitment to obey the Man of Truth with your whole heart, because you believe that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  This is the very reason that there are physical manifestations of the Spirit of Truth today (1 John 4:2).

Come into the House of Truth!

The Impossible Language

How did Hebrew return to being spoken after being dead for almost 1300 years?

It is not humanly possible for a language to not be spoken natively for over 1600 years, not spoken at all for almost 1300 years, and then become a language spoken again by millions of people, with some of them speaking the original dialect, in the land where it was originally spoken, by the descendants of those who originally spoke it.  No ancient language has ever been revived after its last native speaker has died.  Yet that is exactly what happened with Hebrew.  That is why I call Hebrew the Impossible Language.

Jerusalem was the largest city in Judaea, the de facto capital of Judaea, the center of education and religion in Judaea, when the Romans destroyed it in 70 AD.  As a result, not only did a great number of native Hebrew speakers die in 70 AD, but also more than half of the Hebrew documents on Earth was destroyed as well.

When the Romans destroyed all fifty walled cities that remained in Judaea, along with 985 unwalled villages in the Bar Kochba revolt that ended in 135 AD, even more native speakers of Hebrew died and most of the remaining Hebrew documents.

As Jews continued to be scattered from the land of Israel over the next few generations, Hebrew began to fall out of practical use, since another language was always needed to conduct business outside of the ever shrinking Jewish community in the land of Israel.  In fact, the last known native speaker of Hebrew died around 220 AD.

Still, Hebrew remained as a second language that Jews spoke among each other in the land of Israel, even as they became an ever smaller minority in the land of Israel.  When Jews who moved back to the land of Israel due to the efforts of the Byzantine Empire after 390 AD, they continued to carry out their business in Greek, and rarely bothered to learn how to speak Hebrew, since those who spoke Hebrew, also spoke Greek as their primary language.

So by 500 AD, it was apparent that even the pronunciation of Hebrew words would soon be lost.  Hebrew had only seventeen consonants, two non-specific vowel indicators (to remove ambiguity), and three consonantal specific vowels (consonants that might also indicate certain vowel sounds instead the consonant sound, like the letter "Y" in English).  It was completely lacking in true vowels, because like the ancient Phoenician alphabet that it originally used, the assumption was that the speaker knew the vowels and did not need them.  (This was a reasonable shortcut when everything was written by carving in wood or stone.)

Realizing that the Greeks were on to something when they later added vowels, various Jewish religious professionals, saw the need to add vowels as well.  However, they also realized that they could not possibly insert new vowel characters between existing characters in the surviving Hebrew documents.  So they came up with various systems of small diacritical markings that they could place beneath existing characters to indicate the vowels, so the pronunciation could be preserved.  Various groups worked independently to come up with competing diacritical systems, because they were raising against the clock to capture the correct pronunciation while there was still someone alive to ask.

By the time that the the last known speaker of Hebrew as a second language died in 586 AD, these groups had collectively captured the pronunciation of every written Hebrew word, except for one.  The Rabbis had ruled that no one should pronounce the name of the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) over 600 years earlier.  They figured if no one pronounced His name, then no one could use His name carelessly.  So after 600 years of not being pronounced by those who followed their teachings, none of their followers who worked to capture the pronunciation of Hebrew words, knew how to pronounce His name.  They had to make guesses about the vowels to add to the four Hebrew letters that make up His name.  (To make matters even more confusing, His name consists of all three consonantal specific vowels, and it is possible that it has no consonant sounds, only vowel sounds.)

The most prominent of these groups to work to preserve the Hebrew language was a group of scholars known as the Masoretes.  The various schools of Masoretes primarily worked in Jerusalem (after the Arab Caliphates took over in 636 AD), Tiberias, and Babylon, often years at a time without contact between the various schools.  Eventually, all schools merged into one school in Tiberias, and began to work on creating a standard set of diacritical markings that would be universally used.

A complete copy of the Original Covenant (Tanakh aka The Old Testament) written using Masoretic markings (niqqud), is called a Masoretic Text.  It appears from other documents that the first Masoretic Text was completed sometime around 850 AD.

In 895 AD, Moses Ben Asher, completed the Codex of the Prophets in Tiberias using the diacritical system that he had completed at the time.  This was later called the Codex Cairensis, because it was recovered in Cairo, Egypt.  This is the oldest surviving document that contains diacritical markings.

The son of Moses Ben Asher, Aaron Ben Asher, then became the first scholar to give serious study of the grammar of Hebrew, as well as the pronunciation of Hebrew.  He created the diacritical system that is still in use today.  He also created the cantillation notation that adds even more precision to the pronunciation.  His cantillation notation is still used by cantors in synagogues today.

The oldest surviving Masoretic Text, the Aleppo Codex, has been dated to about 928 AD, even though some pages have been lost.  The Aleppo Codex was corrected by Aaron Ben Asher himself, to use his system.  By the time Aaron Ben Asher died in 960 AD, his system had became the universally accepted standard, despite the fact that he appears to have been a Karaite, and not a follower of the Rabbis.

The oldest surviving complete Masoretic Text, the Leningrad Codex, has been dated to 1008 AD.  There were undoubtedly many more Masoretic Texts, but most did not survive the arrival of the Crusaders in 1099 AD.  The Crusaders burned down every synagogue (also mosques, and even most churches) that they encountered when they invaded the land of Israel.  Naturally, most of the Hebrew documents were kept in these synagogues, so most of them did not survive.  If the Jews had not managed to hide or smuggle out a small percentage of the Hebrew documents that they had retrofitted with vowel pointers, then Hebrew would have been lost as a written language as well.  In some cases, some Hebrew documents like the Codex Cairensis, were captured as booty by some Crusaders, and later ransomed by Jews.

There appears to have been no Hebrew documents in use in the land of Israel by the time that the Ayyubid Empire took control in 1187 AD.  Any that might have been brought back into the land of Israel during this period, were undoubtedly removed after the Mamluk Empire started waging a thirty one year war in 1260 AD to take control of the land of Israel.  Rambam did not find any in use when he arrived in the land of Israel in 1267 AD.

During this time, the written Hebrew documents, particularly Masoretic Text, moved further and further to the north and west of the land of Israel.  Most of them ended up in the lands where the Ashkenazi Jews lived, where they were meticulous replicated by hand for hundreds of years.

Then the Gutenberg printing press was invented and a Latin translation of the Masoretic Text was included in volume 1 of the first printing of the Gutenberg Bible in 1455 AD.  Then in 1517 AD, the same year that the Ottoman Empire took control of the land of Israel, an early Restorationist (Christian Zionist) named Daniel Bomberg worked with Rabbis, Jewish Hebrew scholars, and Jewish Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) in Venice (Italy) to produce the first printed version of the Masoretic Text.  He then worked with Jewish experts to clean up errors in the diacritical markings and cantillation marks that had been made in the first edition to produce the second edition 1525 AD.   He also introduced the numbering of chapters and verses in his printed version o the Masoretic Text.  His second edition of the Masoretic Text became the standard for all printed versions of the Masoretic Text, including those in use today.

Not long after that, Ashkenazi Jews made efforts to publish the Masoretic Text in ever greater numbers using the printing press.

These efforts did not go unnoticed by other Christian Zionists.  For example, the Pilgrims took a vote while on the Mayflower in 1621 AD about replacing English with Hebrew when they arrived in the New World.  The proposal lost by one vote.  Otherwise, Wampanoags and Pilgrims might have written their peace treaties in Hebrew.

This zeal for reviving Hebrew by Christian Zionists did not abate in what became the United States.  Hebrew is found on the seals and standards of all of the original colonial universities like Yale.  In fact, for the first fifty years after America formed its constitutional government in 1787 AD, every diplomat of the United States was required to be able to read and write Hebrew, even if they did not know what the words meant, or how to pronounce them.  This desire to revive Hebrew among Christian Zionists, particularly in America, created even more demand for printings of the Masoretic Text.

Many of the Ashkenazi Jews had also became obsessed with preserving the Masoretic Text, because it preserved the pronunciation of Hebrew words that they no longer used.  This fervor among Ashkenazi Jews for the Masoretic Text is particularly shown by the Leningrad Codex, that was first acquired in Odessa, Ukraine by an Ashkenazi Karaite Jew in 1838 AD, and then donated to the Imperial Library of Russia in 1863 AD to keep it safe from harm.   It had been kept safe, in nearly pristine condition, for over eight hundred years.

So when Ashkenazi Jews began to stream back into the land of Israel in 1870 AD, they brought the Masoretic Text back into the land of Israel with them.  They also brought many translations of the Original Covenant into other languages that were based on the Masoretic Text as well.

Eliezer Ben Yehuda, an Ashkenazi Jew, moved from Russia to Paris to study there in 1876 AD.  While he was there, he met another Ashkenazi Jew from Jerusalem, who was visiting Paris, but who could not speak French, Russian, or Yiddish.  So he and this other Jew talked as best as they could in the limited Hebrew that they had learned in their cheder (basic Hebrew and Judaism school) when they were children.  This was the first known conversation in Hebrew in almost 1300 years.  While their conversations were very simplistic and limited, like two Trekkies speaking to each other in Klingon, it convince Ben Yahuda that it was possible for Hebrew to be revived as a living language.

As the Ashkenazi Jews continued to stream into the land of Israel, Ben Yehuda, who had move to Jerusalem from Paris, began reviving the Hebrew language in 1881 AD.  He used the Masoretic Text and the various translations based on it as his starting point.  His son, Itamar Ben-Avi, was born in 1882 AD, and grew up as the first native Hebrew speaker since 220 AD.  (Pure Hebrew had been lost to Hebrew hybrid languages like Yiddish, Ladino, and Yavanic, not long after the Jews were scattered by the Romans in 135 AD.)  Ben Yehuda had his family commit to only speaking Hebrew in their home, and also convinced a few nearby families to do so as well.

Eliezer Ben Yehuda almost single-handedly brought about the revival of Hebrew.  He founded schools for teaching Hebrew.  He started the first Hebrew language newspaper, HaZvi in 1884 AD. He created the first Hebrew dictionary, in which he created over 2,000 Hebrew words for things that did not have Hebrew words, like the word "badura" for a tomato.  He invented the teaching "Hebrew in Hebrew" method, and even used it to teach Hebrew in a school for a short while.

Yet, Hebrew was not rapidly accepted.  Hebrew began to be taught in a limited basis in some rural schools, but mostly as a second language.  Hebrew was largely criticized by the contemporaries of Ben Yehuda as being too clumsy for modern usage, and useless for higher education.

The most vocal opponents of Hebrew being revived as a language were many of the Rabbis.  They called Hebrew, "Lashon HaQodesh", the Holy Tongue, and argued that it was too holy for people to use to buy bread and the like.  Some even objected to Hebrew being spoken by anyone other than a trained cantor, because no one else could pronounce the words precisely as they had been preserved in the Masoretic Text.  Since only men were allowed to become cantors, they also objected to women speaking Hebrew.  They were so opposed to the revival of Hebrew that they even managed to get HaZvi shut down from publication for an entire year.  The largest obstacle to the revival of Hebrew becoming the language of the people of Israel in the land of Israel was Rabbinic Distort.

Still, by 1886 AD the first school that taught everything in Hebrew was established in Rishon LeZion.  Also in 1889 AD, the first Hebrew play was put on by classes in the few schools that taught in Hebrew.  Ben Yehuda founded the Hebrew Language Committee in 1890 AD and was its first president.

So the adoption of Hebrew continued to slowly grow.  In 1902 AD, the wife of Ben Yahuda baked a cake for the tenth family in his area to agree to speak only Hebrew in their home.  In 1903 AD, sixty teachers formed the Union of Hebrew Teachers.

When a new surge of immigrants began arriving in 1904 AD, Hebrew began to really take off.  These new immigrants needed a common language to speak to each other and to the Jews who had previously made aliyah.  Hebrew was a natural choice since it was already being taught in many of the schools.  In 1905 AD, the first Hebrew high school was established in Jaffa.

So by 1909 AD, Tel Aviv became the first city since 135 AD to be a Hebrew only city, with signs, business, government notices, and everything else written in only Hebrew, with a requirement for all residences to learn to speak Hebrew.  In 1911 AD, the World Zionist Congress adopted Hebrew as its official language and conducted all of its business in Hebrew.

However, opposition to Hebrew continued to grow as well.

So in 1913 AD, there was a show down between those who supported Hebrew and those who supported German, to determine which would become the language of the land of Israel.  This showdown is known as "The War of the Languages".

The proponents for German argued that Hebrew was not refined enough to teach technology classes.  When the supporters of Hebrew were able to show that Hebrew could be used to teach technology classes, then Hebrew was voted in as the language that would be used in the Technion, the premier school of technology in the land of Israel to this day.  The success of the Hebrew language curriculum in the Technion brought the war to an end with a decisive victory for Hebrew.  Ben Yehuda, and the thousands who had joined him, had won the fight to make Hebrew a living language against all obstacles and opposition.

So when the British Empire took control of the land of Israel in 1918 AD, Hebrew was already the de facto language of the land of Israel.  The British recognized Hebrew as the official language of the land of Israel on November 29th, 1922 AD, just one month before Ben Yehuda died.  (English and Arabic were also recognized as official second languages, with a requirement that signs, and the like be written in all three languages, as is still the policy of Israel today.)

As Hebrew gained more speakers, particularly native speakers, it became more refined, so it would be better suited for modern usage.  By the time that Israel became a state in 1948 AD, it was refined enough that David Ben-Gurion was able to announce the formation of the state of Israel in Hebrew.

In 1953 AD, the government of Israel has made the Hebrew Language Committee, that Ben Yehuda started, into the official authority for continuing to refine Hebrew, and renamed it as the Academy of Hebrew Language. This education institution is devoted to refining Hebrew by replacing foreign words with ancient Hebrew words, and creating new Hebrew words as needed.  For example, the Hebrew word for "tank" used to be "tank", but now it is "merkava", the ancient Hebrew word for "chariot".  Its decisions are binding on all government entities including schools.

Today, Hebrew is the national language of Israel, where it is the unifying language that Jews who immigrate from every country learn to speak, so they can all communicate with each other.  There are four major dialects of Hebrew spoken in Israel.  There is the Ashkenazi, the Sephardic, and the Mizrahi dialects, that are spoken according to where different Jews immigrated from.

However, the native born Israelis have developed a completely different dialect, called the Sabra dialect, that has came from native born Jews, whose parents spoke one of the other three major dialects, speaking to each other.  So not only has Hebrew been revived, by quite possibly the exact same dialect of Hebrew that was spoken in ancient times has been revived.

In fact, among Sabras the diacritical markings used in the Masoretic Text for vowels, as well as the cantillation markings, have fallen out of use.  They have found that they no longer need anything other than the seventeen consonants, two non-specific vowel indicators, and three consonantal specific vowels that their ancestors used to be able to pronounce Hebrew words in the same way as their ancestors.  The language of the people of Israel is being spoken in the land of Israel once again.

So a language that had zero speakers for almost 1300 years, now has five million living in Israel, and four million living outside of Israel.  Hebrew is one of the most wide spread languages on Earth, with people who speak it found in every country on Earth.  It is popular enough that most translation apps and services include it as part of their standard list of supported languages.

The impossible has happened.

How could have all of this happened?

This is the work of the Greatest Zionist.

The Father of Truth has been restoring the Hebrew language back to the Jews, starting with the Ashkenazi Jews, so that Jews from all over the world, even south of Ethiopia, could call upon His name together (Zephaniah 3:9-10).  He has been causing the people of Israel to hear the language of Israel in the land of Israel, instead of another language (Isaiah 33:19-20).

The Father of Truth has been causing the people of Israel to no longer speak languages like Yiddish, that are half the language of the people that they were scattered among, and half the language of the people of Israel (Nehemiah 13:23-24).  He has caused the people of Israel to no longer need to struggle to maintain the language of Israel, while living outside of the land of Israel (Esther 8:9).

The Father of Truth has been causing the same language of Canaan that is spoken in the land of Israel, Hebrew, to also be spoken outside of the land of Israel (Isaiah 19:17-18).  He has once again been sending Jewish Children of Truth to speak His words to the people of Israel, in the language of Israel (Ezekiel 3:4-6).

The Father of Truth does not just want to make the impossible happen concerning the language of Israel, but He wants to make the impossible happen concerning your life.  He wants you to come into the House of Truth and produce the sound of power.

Like the language of Israel, the Father of Truth wants to you to speak to Him in a pure language (Mark 16:17).  He wants you to speak to Him in a language that only those who know Him can understand (1 Corinthians 14:2).

Like the language of Israel, the Father of Truth wants you to have a supernatural encounter with the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost), so you can speak His words to other people (Acts 1:5-8).  He wants you to be able to supernaturally speak His words to other people in their own language, instead of another language (Acts 2:4-11).

Like the language of Israel, the Father of Truth wants you to speak in a language that is impossible for you to speak without the Spirit of Truth (Acts 10:45-47).  He wants you to do this as a sign to others that you are speaking a message from Him (1 Corinthians 14:21-22).

Like the language of Israel, the Father of Truth wants you to come into the House of Truth, so can speak His words in the other impossible language (Acts 19:4-6).  He wants everyone to be able to speak His words in the other impossible language (1 Corinthians 14:5).

Like the language of Israel, the Father of Truth wants you to come into the House of Truth, so you can be baptized in the Spirit of Truth and speak in the other impossible language (Acts 2:33-38).  You come into the House of Truth, when you confess in any language that the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) is your King, because you believe that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9-13).

Come into the House of Truth!

The Spirit of The Law

Is the Spirit of Truth at odds with the Law of Truth?

Many preachers have said things like, since we have been given the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost), then we do not need the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law).  They have went on to say things like, the Spirit of Truth has set us free from the Law of Truth.  They went on further to say things like, since we are lead by the Spirit of Truth, then we are under no obligation to obey the Law of Truth.   They act like, the Law of Truth was holding people prisoners with demands to obey its commandments, but the Spirit of Truth set them free from any need to obey those commandments.  Basically, they give the impression that the Spirit of Truth is at odds with the Law of Truth.

Is this what the Book of Truth (The Bible) says?  In particular, is this what the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament) says?

The best place to start is the day of Pentecost, when the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) were first baptized in the Spirit of Truth.  The Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) told them to wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD), as his last instructions before he left this Earth (Acts 1:4-9).  Then on the day of Pentecost, they were baptized in the Spirit of Truth and spoke in tongues (Acts 2:1-4).  This was proof, that the Father of Truth had poured out the Spirit of Truth upon the Children of Truth, as He had spoken through Joel, the Prophet of Truth (Acts 2:16-18).  This was the promise of the Father of Truth, that the Man of Truth said, would be given to those who waited in Jerusalem (Acts 2:33).

Then a second group of people, who had not received the instructions of the Man of Truth, were baptized in the Spirit of Truth on the day of Pentecost as well.  Those, who were first baptized in the Spirit of Truth, had witnessed the Man of Truth rise again (Acts 2:30-32). Then these Jewish people were told about the resurrection of the Man of Truth (Acts 2:33-36).  Then they were also told, that they would also be baptized in the Spirit of Truth, if they would come into the House of Truth, because it was promised to all of the Jewish people (Acts 2:37-39).

There was about 120 of the Children of Truth, who were first baptized in the Spirit of Truth (Acts 1:12-15).  However, the Man of Truth had given these instructions to more than 500 of them (1 Corinthians 15:4-6).  What made the difference, between those who obeyed the instructions, and those who did not?

There were 3000 more, who were baptized in the Spirit of Truth as a second group on that same day (Acts 2:40-41).  There were many thousands more in Jerusalem on that day.  What made the difference, between those who were baptized in the Spirit of Truth, and those who were not?

What caused some to be baptized in the Spirit of Truth on the day of Pentecost, when the sound of power was first heard, while others were not, becomes clear, when some other questions are answered.

What is Pentecost?

Pentecost comes from a Greek word, that literally means "fiftieth".

Pentecost is the Feast of Truth, given in the Law of Truth, that occurs on the fiftieth day, counting off from First Fruits (Bikkurim) as one, when the firstfruits of the barley harvest is offered, that occurs on the first day after the Sabbath that follows Passover (Leviticus 23:10-16).

During these fifty days that start with First Fruits and ends with Pentecost, there are seven weeks, that each end with a regular weekly Sabbath (Leviticus 23:15-16).  For this reason, the Feast of Truth called Pentecost in Greek, is also known as "the Feast of Weeks", when the first fruits of the wheat harvest is offered (Exodus 34:22).  So in Hebrew, this Feast of Truth is called "Shabuot", which literally means "weeks".

So Pentecost is not it some holiday, like Ash Wednesday, that was created by the False Church of Rome.  Pentecost was the Feast of Truth, given the Law of Truth, when the baptism of the Spirit of Truth first occurred.

Many of the Children of Truth have been confused about this, because of the False Church of Rome.  The False Church of Rome has made a counterfeit holiday, that it also calls "Pentecost".  This counterfeit holiday was created, hundreds of years after the baptism of Spirit of Truth was first given.

How did those, who had not heard the instructions of the Man of Truth, know to be in Jerusalem?

Moses (Moishe) was told, that everyone, who lived in the Promised Land, was to bring their offering for these Feasts of Truth, starting with First Fruits (Leviticus 23:9-11).  They were to bring their offering to Jerusalem, where the Father of Truth would place His name, to observe Pentecost (Deuteronomy 16:9-11).  Every man, who lived in the Promised Land, was to appear before the Father of Truth at the Temple in Jerusalem, for Pentecost, and the other two harvest Feast of Truth, with an offering (Deuteronomy 16:16-17).

If anyone was outside of the Promised Land for any reason, then they were to turn their offering for each of these Feasts of Truth into money, and store up the money, until they were able to come to Jerusalem, to make their offering at one of these Feasts of Truth, like Pentecost (Deuteronomy 14:22-25).

Pentecost, was an extra Sabbath, where the Children of Truth were to not do any regular work, and congregate together (Numbers 28:26).  Those who lived outside the Promised Land, would bring the money of their offering, and give it at their meeting place, for these three Feasts of Truth.  Whenever representatives from their congregation went to Jerusalem, then they would send the accumulated offerings of the entire congregation, to be given on their behalf at the Temple.

These three Feasts of Truth, were all extra Sabbaths.  Since the first two always fell on Sunday, the first day of the week, all three of these extra Sabbaths almost always occurred before the regular weekly Sabbath.  So they were each called a First Sabbath.  It was on one of these First Sabbaths, that Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) instructed the Children of Truth, to gather their offerings, so those offerings could be taken to Jerusalem (1 Corinthians 16:1-3). [The phrase "first day of the week" has "day" in italics, because the Greek word for word "day" is not in the Greek phrase "mian sabbaton", used in this passage, which literally means "first Sabbath".]

Since many of the Gentile Children of Truth have not understood for centuries, that Paul the Jew had the Children of Truth collecting their offerings on First Sabbaths, like Pentecost, they have also not understood, who changed the Sabbath.

However, when the baptism of the Spirit of Truth was given at Pentecost (Shabuot), the Jewish Children of Truth understood, that they were in Jerusalem, to celebrate one of the Feasts of Truth, that had been commanded in the Law of Truth.

Those in that second group to be baptized in the Spirit of Truth, were devout to keeping the commandments of the Law of Truth (Acts 2:5).  Some of them were so devout. that they had walked more than a thousand miles, just to be in Jerusalem for the Feast of Truth, called Pentecost (Acts 2:9-11).

What is the promise of the Father of Truth that was first fulfilled at Pentecost?

The promise of the Father of Truth was to give the Children of Truth a new heart, and put a new spirit in them, so they could obey the commandments of the Law of Truth from their heart (Ezekiel 11:19-20).  He promised to put the Spirit of Truth in them, so they could obey the commandments of the Law of Truth from their heart (Ezekiel 36:26-27). Since the Spirit of Truth would cause them to obey the commandments of the Law of Truth from their heart, then the Father of Truth would no longer hide His face from them (Ezekiel 39:29).  The Children of Truth would know, that the Spirit of Truth had been poured out on them, when they began to speak forth supernatural utterances, that glorified the Father of Truth (Joel 2:28-29).

This is what those, who had first been baptized in the Spirit of Truth, did, by speaking messages in languages, that they could not speak on their own, that gloried the Father of Truth (Acts 2:5-11).  So Peter the Jew (Cephas aka Sh'mon aka Simon aka Simeon aka The Apostle Peter) told those, who heard the Children of Truth do this, that they were witnessing the sign, that the Father of Truth was pouring the Spirit of Truth on the Children of Truth, so they could obey the commandments of the Law of Truth (Acts 2:14-18).

So the Children of Truth were baptized in the Spirit of Truth at Pentecost, a Feast of Truth, so they could obey the commandments of the Law of Truth from their heart.

What was required to receive the promise of the Father?

The promise of the Father of Truth to give the Spirit of Truth, was only for those, who repented of breaking the commandments of the Law of Truth. (Ezekiel 18:30-32)

Now the Father of Truth had spoken in the Law of Truth, that He would raise up another Prophet of Truth like unto Moses, and that people must obey that Prophet of Truth (Deuteronomy 18:15-19).  The Man of Truth is that Prophet of Truth, who people must obey (Acts 3:20-23).

So Peter the Jew told those, who heard those, who were first baptized in the Spirit of Truth, what they had to do to also be baptized in the Spirit of Truth.  They must repent of breaking the commandments of the Law of Truth, by making a commitment to obey the Man of Truth, so they could receive the promise of the Father of Truth, to be baptized in the Spirit of Truth (Acts 2:38-39).

Now that these questions have been answered, it starts becoming clear, why only some of those, who could have been baptized in the Spirit of Truth, received the promise of the Father of Truth.

All of those, who the Man of Truth told to wait in Jerusalem, should have been there, because he is the one, that the Law of Truth said, that they must obey.  Even if he had not told them to wait in Jerusalem, they should have been there, to obey the commandment of the Law of Truth, to be there for Pentecost.  Those who were devoted to the Father of Truth, enough to obey Law of Truth, by coming to Jerusalem for Pentecost, were also the ones, who were devoted enough, to obey the Man of Truth.

So even though, Jerusalem was full of people, not all of them were there, out of devotion to the Father of Truth.  Those who were devoted to the Father of Truth, enough to obey Law of Truth, by coming to Jerusalem for Pentecost, from far away, were also the ones, who were devoted enough, to repent of breaking the Law of Truth, and make a commitment to obey the Man of Truth.

So the first people to be baptized in the Spirit of Truth, were those, who strongly desired to obey the Law of Truth.  They desired to have the Spirit of Truth poured out on them, as the Father of Truth had promised, so they could obey the Law of Truth from their heart, as He had always intended.

The truth is, that it has always been about the heart.

The heart that turns to the Father of Truth, keeps the commandments of the Law of Truth (Deuteronomy 30:10).  The heart that loves the Father of Truth, keeps the commandments of the Law of Truth (Joshua 22:5).   The heart that contains the Law of Truth, will never slide away from the Father of Truth (Psalm 37:31).  The heart that seeks to keep the Law of Truth, seeks to learn from the Father of Truth (Psalm 119:33-35).

The Man of Truth came to do the will of the Father of Truth, because the Law of Truth was in his heart (Psalm 40:7-9).  The heart of a child of the Father of Truth, seeks to remember to keep the Law of Truth (Proverbs 3:1).

Since the heart is the real issue, no one can obey the Law of Truth, without the Spirit of Truth.

The Law of Truth will kill anyone, who tries to obey it by the letter, without the Spirit of Truth (Romans 7:4-6).  The Law of Truth cannot be obeyed without the Spirit of Truth, so it will bring death to everyone, who does not have the Spirit of Truth (Romans 7:12-14).  Those who do not have the Spirit of Truth are under the penalty of death, because their flesh will lead them into disobedience to the Law of Truth, but those who follow the Spirit of Truth, are free from the penalty of death, because the Spirit of Truth will lead them into obedience to the Law of Truth (Romans 8:1-3).  Those who are lead by the Spirit of Truth, do those things that Law of Truth says are right, which results in life, but those who are lead by their flesh, do those things that Law of Truth says are evil, which results in death (Romans 8:4-6).  So those who live their life in obedience to the Spirit of Truth, are not under condemnation for disobeying the Law of Truth (Galatians 5:16-18).

The flesh will lead people into behavior, that is contrary to the Law of Truth (Galatians 5:19-21).  The Spirit of Truth will lead people into behavior, that fulfills the Law of Truth (Galatians 5:22-23).

So the Spirit of Truth was first poured out on those, who were already trying to obey the Law of Truth.  The Spirit of Truth was promised to be poured out, so people could keep the Law of Truth from their heart.  The Spirit of Truth leads people into obedience to the Law of Truth.

In fact, the Law of Truth came from the Father of Truth (2 Timothy 3:16).  Every prophecy, including the Law of Truth, came from the Spirit of Truth (2 Peter 1:21).  So the Spirit of Truth cannot be at odds with the Law of Truth.

The real problem is, that every person is born with a heart, that is deceitful and wicked (Jeremiah 17:9).  They have a heart of stone, that cannot bear to even hear the Law of Truth (Zechariah 7:12).  It is not possible for people with such a heart, to be subject to the Law of Truth, and live a life that is pleasing to the Father of Truth (Romans 8:7-8).

So their stony heart must be replaced with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 11:19).  Another spirit, the Spirit of Truth, must replace the corrupt spirit, that they were born with, so their heart can be replaced (Ezekiel 36:26).  Then the Spirit of Truth can write the Law of Truth upon their hearts (2 Corinthians 3:3).

The Father of Truth said, that He would make a Renewed Covenant, where He would write the Law of Truth in the hearts of the Children of Truth (Jeremiah 31:33).  The Renewed Covenant is the Father of Truth writing the Law of Truth in the hearts of the Children of Truth (Hebrews 8:10).  The Spirit of Truth was given to write the Law of Truth in the hearts of the Children of Truth, because that is the Renewed Covenant (Hebrews 10:15-17).

The Spirit of Truth is the means to being born into the House of Truth (John 3:5-7).  Everyone who comes into the House of Truth, is given the Spirit of Truth (Romans 8:9-11).  People come into the House of Truth, when they surrender to the Man of Truth, because they believe in their heart, that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9-11).  After they come into the House of Truth, then the Spirit of Truth begins writing the Law of Truth on their hearts, so they can obey the Law of Truth from their hearts, because that is the Renewed Covenant (2 Corinthians 3:3-6).

Come into the House of Truth!

Waving The Leavened Bread

What is Pentecost?

Most churches in America and across the world celebrate Pentecost to some degree.  These churches have different traditions for celebrating Pentecost but it is observed in some shape, form or fashion in almost every type of church.  Yet the average church goer knows very little about Pentecost.  In fact, many are unaware of even when Pentecost occurs until the religious professionals announce that they will be observing Pentecost the week before Pentecost.

What is Pentecost?

Ask two religious professionals this question and you are likely to get three different answers.  Some will say it is when the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) was first given.  Some will say it is when the church was born.  Some will say that it commemorates the Apostles being baptized with the Spirit of Truth. Some will tell you that it is the holiday after Easter on the calendar that the Apostles established for the church.  Other religious professionals will give still yet some other answers to this question.

What is Pentecost?

The best way to answer this question is look in the Book of Truth (The Bible) to see what it says about Pentecost.

What is Pentecost?

Pentecost is not some religious holiday like Christmas that never appears in the Book of Truth.  Pentecost is the name of a holiday found in the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament) that Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul) and other believers celebrated (Acts 20:16).  Pentecost is an Anglicization of the Greek word "Pentekoste" which literally means "fiftieth".  It is a shortened form of  "Pentekoste Emera" which means "Fiftieth Day".

Why is this holiday called "fiftieth"?

This is a Feast of the Father of Truth that occurs after the seventh weekly Sabbath (Saturday) after the Feast of First Fruits (Reishit Katzir) (Leviticus 23:15).  This Feast of the Father of Truth occurs on the fiftieth day when you count  from the Feast of the First Fruits as day one and continues until you reach day fifty - which is the day (Sunday) after the Seventh Sabbath (Leviticus 23:15-16).  So it is called the Fiftieth Day by the Greeks and is known as Pentecost in the Renewed Covenant.

What is Pentecost called in the Original Covenant (Tanakh aka The Old Testament)?

However in the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) it is called the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot) because it occurs after seven full weeks after the Feast of First Fruits (Deuteronomy 16:9-10).  So the Pentecost of the Renewed Covenant is another name for the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot) in the Original Covenant.

Pentecost was when the first fruits of the wheat harvest was brought to the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka The LORD) just like the first fruits of the barley harvest had been brought at First Fruits (Reishit Katzir) so it is also called First Fruits because it is the second first fruits offering of the year (Exodus 34:22).  This is explained more completely in the Raising of the First Fruits.

How was Pentecost supposed to be observed?

Every adult (twenty years and older) male among the Children of Truth that lived in the Land of Israel was to appear before the Father of Truth at the Temple for Pentecost and He would protect the land while they did so (Exodus 34:22-24).  On this second First Fruits additional sacrifices were made besides the normal daily sacrifices (Numbers 28:26-31).  Besides these additional meat offerings the priest was to bring in two loaves of leavened bread and wave them with the offerings (Leviticus 23:17-20).  Pentecost was also like First Fruits in that it was to be treated like a Sabbath when no one could work and everyone had to congregate together even though it always fell on the day (Sunday) after the regular Sabbath (Saturday) (Leviticus 23:21).  Pentecost was to be a great time of rejoicing before the Father of Truth in the Temple because of His deliverance from slavery in Egypt (Deuteronomy 16:10-12).  No adult man on was allowed to miss this party and no one could show up empty handed (Deuteronomy 16:16-17).

What is Pentecost about?

What is unique about Pentecost is the waving the leavened bread in the Temple.  Normally, leaven was not seen in the Temple for no leaven could be burned with the sacrifices (Exodus 34:25).  Leaven was not allowed to be part of any offering that was to be made for the first fruits on the altar (Leviticus 2:10-12).  The only other time that leavened bread was present in the Temple was when it was lifted up as a voluntary thanksgiving offering that was being made to the Father of Truth (Leviticus 7:12-14).

Some have suggested that the show bread (literally "the bread of the faces") was also leavened but it could not have been. The show bread was to be continually in the Temple as an offering made by fire and replaced every Sabbath (Leviticus 24:5-8).  Besides the fact that no leaven was to be offered by fire, there also could be no leaven in any house, including the Temple, during the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Deuteronomy 16:4).  This is explained more completely in Removing The Leaven.

So what is the significance of the two loaves of leavened bread at Pentecost?  What is so important about waving the leavened bread?

When something is waved it brings attention to it.  For example, people wave flags to show patriotism and people will wave their arms to get attention when they are in distress.  So waving the leavened bread in the Temple showed that there was something significant about these two loaves being in the presence of the Father of Truth.

So what was so important that was signified by these two loaves?

The best way to answer that question is to look at the two important events that occurred on Pentecost in the Book of Truth.  These two events are tied together in a fashion similar to the way that the first first fruits, called First Fruits, is tied to the second first fruits, called Pentecost, by being on opposite ends of the counting to fifty.  These two events are tied together in the same way that barely and wheat are tied together by these two feasts where each harvest is began by bringing the first fruits of its grain to the Temple.  These two loaves represent two different types of harvest that both began on the same day of the week (Sunday).

Some people have said that the church was born on Pentecost but they are only partly correct if they are referring to the event in Jerusalem where the Children of Truth (those who obey the Father of Truth because they love Him) were first baptized in the Spirit of Truth.  Pentecost, which always occurs in the third month of the Biblical Calendar, is also the day that the Law of Truth was first given to the Children of Truth at Mount Sinai (Exodus 19:1-6).  This is when the church, the congregation of the Children of Truth, was born for the first time (Acts 7:37-38).  This is the first Pentecost.

About 1800 years later in Jerusalem, the Children of Truth were first baptized in the Spirit of Truth and began to speak with other tongues for the first time (Acts 2:1-4).  This is when the church, the congregation of the Children of Truth, was born for the second time.  This is the second Pentecost.

The events of the first Pentecost lead to 3,000 men being killed because they rebelled (Exodus 32:25-28).  The events of the second Pentecost lead to 3,000 men being saved because they repented (Acts 2:38-41). The Law of Truth without the Spirit of Truth could only bring death (2 Corinthians 3:5-6).

This is because the Law of Truth given at the first Pentecost was never complete until the Spirit of Truth was given at the second Pentecost.  The second Pentecost was promised to come in the Original Covenant because the Spirit of Truth had to be given so people could keep the Law of Truth (Ezekiel 36:26-28).  The Law of Truth is spiritual so it requires the Spirit of Truth to keep it (Romans 7:12-14).  No one can keep the Law of Truth without help from the Spirit of Truth (Romans 8:2-4).  It is the Spirit of Truth who gives people the ability to keep the Law of Truth (1 John 3:23-24).  This is explained more fully in Written On My Heart.

For this reason the second Pentecost was much better than the first Pentecost (2 Corinthians 3:7-8)!  The first Pentecost is completely overshadowed by the second Pentecost (2 Corinthians 3:9-11)!

During the entire time of the ministry of the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) only Jews living in the land of Israel were brought into the House of Truth (Matthew 15:24).  It was only after his resurrection that the Children of Truth were told to go into all the world and preach while operating in the power of the Spirit of Truth (Mark 16:15-18).  The Children of Truth had to wait for the Spirit of Truth before they could bring the Good News of the Man of Truth to those outside of Israel (Luke 24:45-49).  When the Spirit of Truth was given at the second Pentecost then Jews from all over the world were brought into the House of Truth (Acts 2:5-11).

So at this second Pentecost Peter the Jew (Cephas aka Simon aka Simeon) recognized that the Father of Truth had began to fulfill His promise to reach people beyond the borders of Israel (Acts 2:36-39).  Yet he did not understand the reason for two loaves being used in the waving of the leavened bread in the Temple at Pentecost.

Leaven was not normally in the Temple because it represented sin.  Every sacrifice in the Temple was a picture of the sacrifice that the Man of Truth would make to save the human race.  There could be no leaven used in the sacrifices because there was no sin in the Man of Truth (Hebrews 9:28).

The loaves of leavened bread represented the human race because all people have sinned (Romans 3:23).  There was this ritual of waving the leavened bread to bring attention to the fact that the human race, which had sinned, could come into the presence of His Father because of his sacrifice (Hebrews 4:14-16).

Yet there remained a veil over the eyes of the Jewish Children of Truth that were at the second Pentecost.  They could not see that the Father of Truth would also save the Gentiles without requiring them to first become Jews until the Gentiles were also baptized in the Spirit of Truth with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 10:44-46).  It was the Gentiles receiving the same gift that the Jews had received at the second Pentecost which finally removed the veil from their eyes so they could understand the purpose of waving the leavened bread (Acts 11:16-18).  They could finally understand that two loaves were used to bring attention to the plan of the Father of Truth to bring both Jews and Gentiles into His presence through the work of the Spirit of Truth (1 Corinthians 12:13).

Was this inclusion of the Gentiles in the House of Truth a change in the plan of the Father of Truth?

The Father of Truth had revealed in His Covenant with Abraham (Abram) that He intended to save the Gentiles through the nation of Israel before it ever existed (Genesis 12:1-3).  When the Law of Truth was given at the first Pentecost He had already said that it was not not just for the nation of Israel that was present at Mount Sinai but also for other people that were not there (Deuteronomy 29:13-15).  The Father of Truth said that the Gentiles would rejoice with the nation of Israel when He took revenge on those that do evil and showed mercy to His people (Deuteronomy 32:43).  He said that He had always planned to save whoever would humble themselves whether they were near to Jerusalem or far off from Jerusalem (Isaiah 57:15-19).  He would cause the Gentiles, who had not been called His people, to be called His people and they would return to Him to call Him their God (Hosea 2:23).

It was always His plan for the Gentiles would seek the Man of Truth (Isaiah 11:10).  The Man of Truth was always meant to be a light to Gentiles as well as the Jews (Isaiah 42:5-7).  The small percentage of Jews that would accept him as king was too small of a payment for his sacrifice on the cross (Isaiah 49:5-7).  It was always His plan to use the Man of Truth to make His name great among the Gentiles (Malachi 1:11).

The Father of Truth had always planned to make a new people to bring jealousy to the nation of Israel and to create from those people of a new nation that was ignorant of the Law of Truth to provoke the nation of Israel when it abandoned Him and the Law of Truth (Deuteronomy 32:21).  He planned to have this new nation speak to the nation of Israel in an unknown tongue so He could bring them into the rest He had promised (Isaiah 28:10-12).  He said that He would reveal Himself to this new nation that had not previously called upon His name because the nation of Israel had refused to seek after Him (Isaiah 65:1-2).

He had planned on Gentiles being called by His name when most of Israel refused (Amos 9:10-12).  It was His plan to cause the Gentiles to repent and be called His Children so that the nation of Israel would repent and do likewise (Hosea 1:9-10).  This plan is further explained in The Secret Plan.

The Man of Truth understood that the Gentiles who would repent were also to be brought into the same fold as the lost sheep of the house of Israel that would repent (John 10:15-17).  This is why he knew that his time to be gloried was at hand when the Gentiles began seeking him (John 12:20-24).  He understood the significance of the two loaves used for waving the leaven bread at Pentecost in the Temple.  He understood that Pentecost was about including the Gentiles in salvation as the four act of the play made up by the Feasts of His Father.  This is explained further in The Greatest Play Ever.

So the inclusion of the Gentiles signified by two loaves being used for waving the leaven bread was always in the Original Covenant but it could not be seen because there was a veil over the eyes of the Jewish Children of Truth.  This veil is still there among all Jews who have not came into the House of Truth.

It is knowing the Man of Truth that takes away this veil which prevents people from seeing the plan of the Father of Truth when the Original Covenant is read (2 Corinthians 3:12-14).  It is the Spirit of Truth, who was given at the second Pentecost, which takes away the veil when the Law of Truth, which was given at the first Pentecost, is read (2 Corinthians 3:15-18).  This mystery was hid in plain sight in the Original Covenant until the Spirit of Truth made it known after the second Pentecost (Colossians 1:25-27).

When the Gentiles were baptized in the Spirit of Truth, just like the Jews who had been at the second Pentecost, then the veil was lifted from the eyes of the Jewish Children of Truth so that they could see what always been written in the Original Covenant (Acts 15:13-15).

Now they understood it had always been the plan of the Father of Truth for the Gentiles who repented to be called by His name (Acts 15:16-18).  Now that the Gentiles had came into the House of Truth a new people and a new nation composed of believing Jews and Gentiles called "Christians" came into existence (Acts 11:26).  Now the congregation of Jewish and Gentile Children of Truth were a new people and a new nation that was completely different from both the unbelieving Jews and the unbelieving Gentiles (1 Corinthians 10:32).

This was the people who Hosea had spoken about being called the Children of Truth (Romans 9:24-26). This was the nation who Moses had spoken about being used to provoke the nation of Israel (Romans 10:19). This was the people who Isaiah had spoken about being sought out by the Father of Truth when the nation of Israel rejected Him (Romans 10:20-21). This was the people who Isaiah had spoken about speaking to the nation of Israel in an unknown tongue as a sign (1 Corinthians 14:21-22).  This was the people who Hosea had spoken about coming into existence as the people of the Father of Truth (1 Peter 2:10).

It is important to remember that two loaves were used for waving the leavened bread.  The right hand loaf was of equal importance to the left hand loaf.  The inclusion of the Gentiles signified by the left hand loaf did not mean that there was some sort of exclusion of the Jews signified by the right hand loaf.

The inclusion of the Gentiles meant that they were coming into the House of Truth which had once been exclusively Jewish (Romans 11:16-18).  The  Jews who were excluded for rebelling against the Father of Truth would be once again included in the House of Truth if they also repented because that was the purpose of including the Gentiles in the first place (Romans 11:23-24).  The Gentiles were now included in the commonwealth of Israel that lives in the House of Truth by the blood of the Man of Truth (Ephesians 2:11-13).  He brought an end to all no ill feelings between Jews and Gentiles because both have been included in the House of Truth (Ephesians 2:14-16).  It was giving of the Spirit of Truth that has made it possible for both Jews who were near when the Law of Truth was given and Gentiles who were far off when the Law of Truth was given to be included together in the House of Truth (Ephesians 2:17-19).

This new nation who lives in the House of Truth is what the Father of Truth has always wanted for Israel (Galatians 6:15-16).  This new people who live in the House of Truth were the holy nation that the Father of Truth had said He would bring into being (1 Peter 2:8-10).

You can be part of this holy nation that lives in the House of Truth whether you are a Jew or a Gentile.  Both Jews who were given the Law of Truth and Gentiles who were far away when the Law of Truth was given have broken the Law of Truth (Romans 2:11-12).  Therefore the Father of Truth has called both Jews and Gentiles to come into the House of Truth as signified by the two loaves that were used for waving the leavened bread at Pentecost in the Temple (Romans 9:22-24).  Anyone that will surrender control of their life to the Man of Truth because they believe that His Father raised him from the dead will come into the House of Truth (Romans 10:8-10).  Everyone that that calls upon the Man of Truth in total surrender will come into the House of Truth and be saved (Romans 10:11-13)!

Come into the House of Truth.
