Smash And Burn

What is the best way to put your past behind you?

Every year growing up, on December 26th, we would begin cleaning up the Christmas mess.  The final act was dragging what was left of the unfortunate cedar tree, that had been sacrificed for Christmas, out into a field near our house, and burning it.  Once that was done, then it was certain that the disruption of our lives, that had started right after Thanksgiving, was really over.  It was destroying the last remnant of Christmas, that finally brought closure.

This is often repeated on a larger scale in various cities across the world, where people pile all of their Christmas trees into a huge pyramid shaped pile, and create a bonfire to bring about closure.  In fact, the very word "bonfire" is symbolic of bringing about closure, because the word was originally "bone fire", when the bones of the dead were burned to bring about closure.

These Christmas tree bonfires came from a holiday of the religion of the Druids, to mark the midway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, called "Imbolc".  The principle Spirit of Lies (devils aka demons aka unclean spirits aka gods) worshiped on Imbolc was "Brigid", the mother of Spring, who was said to be entering labor to bring about Spring on that day.  The bonfires were set to remind people that the Sun was winning out over Winter, and that warmer days would soon be upon them.  The ceremonies of Imbolc were continued on Saint Brigid Day, as people came into the House of Truth from among the Celts.  However, this celebration of a woman, who was named after a goddess of the Druids, on the same day that their goddess had been celebrated, observed by carrying on the same traditions, that were used to celebrate that goddess, and then changing the name of that celebration from Imbolc to Saint Bridig Day, was not part of Celtic Christianity in its original form.

Eventually, people found it inconvenient, to wait until the first day of February, to burn their Christmas trees.  So they started having Christmas tree bonfires, some time within the two weeks that followed Christmas.  Some of these of Christmas tree bonfires occur on New Year's Eve, because people are not just putting last Christmas behind them, but putting the entire year behind them.  These Christmas tree bonfires on New Year's Eve, bring closure to the entire year.

In similar manner, when I first came into the House of Truth, I gathered all of my albums by artists with occultic overtones,  like "Black Sabbath", and my other paraphernalia that was associated with the Occult.  I then proceeded to smash and burn all of them.  I was putting my past behind me, and giving it no opportunity to return.  It was this policy of smash and burn, that finally brought closure.

After that, I was baptized in the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost), and began to produce the sound of power.  When this happened, I no longer wanted anything to do with secular music of any kind.  It was not about any particular style of music, that I suddenly found repulsive, but it was the contents of their lyrics.  So I gathered my secular country, southern rock, rock, heavy metal, punk, new wave, and pop records, all together, like I had done with my occultic items previously.  I also removed all of the things associated with the lifestyle, promoted by these secular artists from my home.  Then I put them all behind me, by continuing the smash and burn policy, that brings closure.

Where did this policy of smash and burn come from?  Why is a policy of smash and burn, necessary to put your past behind you?  Why does implementing this policy of smash and burn, bring closure?

The Book of Truth (The Bible) answers these questions.

The Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) smashed everything on Earth with water when He sent the flood, because the weight of the more than 2 miles (3 kilometers) of water above every city, needed to put the top of the water more than twenty feet above the tallest mountain, (the tallest mountain was probably much shorter before the Flood), would absolutely crush everything under the water (Genesis 7:18-20).  In like manner, He utterly destroyed Sodom, Gomorrah, and everything in the valley, except Zoar (because He does not take collateral damage), by smashing them with brimstone, and burning them with fire (Genesis 19:23-25).

The Father of Truth told the people of Israel, in the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law), to continue His policy of smash and burn, when they came into the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 7:5).  So Joshua smashed and burned the city of Jericho, when the people of Israel first came into the Promised Land (Joshua 6:16-24).   King Josiah obeyed the Father of Truth, when he carried out his massive smash and burn policy, that extended throughout the Promise Land, even beyond the borders of his own kingdom (2 Kings 23:3-15).

The Father of Truth promised, that He would cause everything in the Promised Land to be smashed and burned, if the people of Israel polluted the Promised Land, as the former inhabitants had done (Deuteronomy 29:23-26).  So when the people of Israel polluted the Promised Land, He sent the Babylonians, to smash and burn everything in Jerusalem, including the Temple (Jeremiah 52:12-14).

Everything that is associated with the Father of Lies, or the Spirits of Lies, is polluted, and must be destroyed (Deuteronomy 7:25-26).   Nothing associated with the Father of Lies, or the Spirits of Lies, is to be spared from destruction (Deuteronomy 13:17).  So Joshua warned the people of Israel, to not keep anything associated with the Father of Lies, or the Spirits of Lies, because possessing those things, would take away the blessing of the Father of Truth, off of the whole congregation (Joshua 6:18).  So Joshua destroyed from among the people of Israel, the one who kept something associated with the Spirits of Lies, so that the blessing of the Father of Truth, would come back on the whole congregation (Joshua 7:12-15).

So the Father of Truth smashed the Earth with water, to completely destroy everyone, who was wholly given over to carrying out the will of the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan Aka The Devil), and everything that the Father of Lies had corrupted (Genesis 6:5-7).  He smashed and burned Sodom and Gomorrah, with brimstone and fire, because of their cities had become associated, with the wicked practices that come from the Father of Lies (Genesis 18:20-23).  He commanded the people of Israel, to smash and burn everything, that had anything to do with the Father of Lies, so that the past of the Promised Land, could permanently be put behind it (Deuteronomy 12:1-3).  He commanded the people of Israel, to smash and burn any city of their own, if it was polluting the Promised Land, by performing the wicked practices, that come from the Spirits of Lies (Deuteronomy 13:12-16).  King Josiah carried out His policy of smash and burn, so that his people could no longer, carry out the will of the Father of Lies (2 Kings 23:10).  The Father of Truth even smashed and burned, everything associated with the Spirits of Lies in Egypt, when the people of Israel fled there, to escape the Babylonians (Jeremiah 43:7-13).

A policy of smash and burn brings closure, because it prevents people from being enticed, to go back to the things, that ensnared them before (Exodus 34:13-16).  Smashing everything that is infected with evil, prevents other people from being infected with that evil (Leviticus 14:43-45).  Burning everything that is so infused with evil, so that it can serve no good purpose, prevents the evil it brings, from spreading (Leviticus 13:51-57).  King Josiah destroyed everything, in a "bone fire", to bring closure, to the shameful deeds of the people of Israel, in turning against the Father of Truth (2 Kings 23:16-20).  So the Father of Truth smashed and burned Sodom and Gomorrah, as everlasting warning to people, to no longer live like they were married in Sodom, so there could be closure (Jude 1:7).

So this smash and burn policy came from the Father of Truth.  This smash and burn policy is necessary to put your past behind you, because it separates you from everything, that dragged you into your past behavior.  This smash and burn policy brings closure, because it removes every reminder of your past, so you can focus on building a better future.

The Father of Truth has placed the Spirit of Truth in the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him), so that they can carry out His policy of smash and burn (Ezekiel 11:18-20).  The Spirit of Truth writes this smash and burn policy, contained in the Law of Truth, on the hearts of the Children of Truth (Romans 8:3-5).  It is for this reason, that the Children of Truth in Ephesus, continued this policy of smash and burn, to put their past behind them, when they burned their scrolls of magic, that came from the Spirits of Lies, instead of selling them, to help the poor, or promote the spread of the Good News (Acts 19:13-20).

However, the white hot light of holiness, that comes upon people, when they are baptized in the Spirit of Truth, causes them to see, that more than just the things like idols, are from the Father of Lies, and those things, also need to be smashed and burned (Matthew 3:10-12).  They are repulsed by everything that is contrary to the Father of Truth, because they want to be holy (separated from everything that is from the Father of Lies), as He is holy (1 Peter 1:14-16).  They will smash and burn things, like their albums of secular music ("secular" literally means "of the world"), because those things glorify worldly values, that are not from the Father of Truth (1 John 2:15-17).  They smash and burn these things, so they can put their past behind them forever, and experience the closure, that only comes from being like the Man of Truth (1 John 4:16-18).

In fact, this policy of smash and burn, will be enacted on a global scale, in the near future, during the reign of the Man of Lies (The Antichrist aka The Beast), when the Father of Truth is going to smash and burn, large parts of the Earth (Revelation 8:7-12).

The Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) will continue this policy, by smashing and burning everything from the Father of Lies (Matthew 13:39-42).  He will bring this policy of smash and burn, to bear upon the entire Earth when he returns, to put its past behind it (Luke 17:26-30).  He is even going to burn everyone, who has persecuted the Children of Truth, on that day (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9).

After reigning over the Earth for a thousand years, the Father of Truth will bring about the end of all trouble, when the last generation of those, who seek to carry out the will of the Father of Lies, are smashed and burned (Revelation 20:7-9).  

Finally, the policy of smash and burn, will be enacted for a final time, on a universal scale.  The Father of Truth is going to burn up the entire universe, so that a new universe can be formed, where only the things from Him exist (2 Peter 3:11-13).  It will be the end of all tears, for the Children of Truth, because He will have finally brought them, eternal closure (Revelation 21:1-4).

The Father of Truth is patiently waiting, until the Good News has been taken to every ethnic group on Earth, before He begins this future policy of smash and burn, during the time of the Man of Lies (Matthew 24:14-16).   He has the Man of Truth waiting, to begin his part of implementing His smash and burn policy, just like He waited for Noah, to finish the Ark, before smashing everything, with the flood (1 Peter 3:20-22).  He is waiting, to begin His policy of smash and burn, as long as possible, so that as many people as possible, can come into the House of Truth (2 Peter 3:7-10).  All who did not come into the House of Truth, will be burned, as part of the final phase, of His smash and burn policy (Revelation 20:10-15). 

However, you do not need to wait even one more day, to put your past behind you, and find closure.  You can implement His smash and burn policy today, concerning everything in your own life, that is contrary to the Father of Truth.  So do not stop, at just burning your Christmas tree, and smashing everything about Christmas, like the Mensch who killed Christmas.  Also, throw your pornographic material, your drug paraphernalia, your occultic items, your secular music, and everything that is contrary to the Father of Truth, into the fire as well.  Smash and burn all of it, so that you have separated yourself, from everything that will drag you back into that lifestyle!

However, if something is not from the Father of Lies, but is only hindering you from following the Man of Truth, then it would be alright to sell, or give those things away.  For example, a young man I knew named Tommy, gave away his massive video game system, because it was sucking up all of his time, and preventing him, from spending time with the Father of Truth.  You need to distinguish, between those things that are not alright for you to have in your life, and those things that are not alright for anyone to have in their life.  So if something is weighing you down, and keeping you from running after the Man of Truth, but is not evil in itself, then you should just lay it aside, instead of destroying it (Hebrews 12:1-2).

So do not just make an empty New Year resolution, but take action to put your past behind you, so you can focus on building a better future.

You can never really put the past behind you, until you come into the House of Truth, where you will be born for a second time, into the family of the Father of Truth (John 3:3-7).  Putting your past behind you, starts with putting the Man of Truth in front of you, so that you can follow him, to learn how to do things his way, because you believe, that his Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  You can come into the House of Truth, put your past behind you, and start focusing on building a better future, because of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth (2 Corinthians 5:15-17).  The Spirit of Truth is given to everyone, who comes into the House of Truth, so they can smash and burn everything, that the Father of Lies has ensnared them with, before they were born into the family of the Father of Truth (Ephesians 3:14-16).  When you come into the House of Truth, you can renew your mind with the Word of Truth, so you can escape those patterns of behavior, that have enslave you in the past (Ephesians 4:22-24).  You put your past behind you, when you come into the House of Truth, by living differently than you did in the past (Colossians 3:6-10).

Two Kinds Of Knowledge

Why do people waver in their decisions?

For example, not long after I came into the House of Truth I learned about the pagan roots of Christmas and decided that I should not be celebrating Christmas.  The truth is that I never really liked Christmas very much so it was no big deal for me to stop celebrating Christmas.  After all, learning about the pagan roots of Christmas gave me a good reason to stop doing something that I had never enjoyed in the first place.

As time went on, I grew up from being a baby in the House of Truth to be more and more like the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) year after year.  Early on I was baptized in the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) and began producing the sound of power even though I had never heard anyone speak in tongues before and did not even know that it was possible.  This changed how I saw everything like my total surrender to the Man of Truth that brought me into the House of Truth had changed how I saw everything.

Still I had trouble being certain that I was hearing the voice of the Spirit of Truth at times.  Even though I had the Spirit of Truth living in me and pulsing power through me there were distractions that were like static on a distant AM radio station when I tried to tune into to hear from the Spirit of Truth.  I still lived in a body that still wanted to do whatever it wanted instead of what the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) wanted.  I still lived in a world that was in rebellion against the Father of Truth.  I still had to contend with the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan Aka The Devil) who can be so subtle in leading people away from the truth.   I still got conflicting answers from religious professionals about various subjects including Christmas.

The fact is that many of these religious professionals helped me a great deal in various areas of my life.  They encouraged me to study the Book of Truth (The Bible) to find out the truth about my concerns.  They showed me how to know when I was hearing from the Spirit of Truth.  They taught me that the Spirit of Truth would never contradict the Book of Truth but would instead lead me into the truth found in the Book of Truth.  Still these religious professionals were really just men like myself and were also prone to human error.

So along with the truth that I learned from these religious professionals they also persuaded me to go back to celebrating Christmas.  They knew of some of the pagan practices used in Christmas celebrations and some of them suspected that Christmas was not when the Man of Truth was born.

Yet they also pointed out the many good things about Christmas as well including the fact that Christmas was the only opportunity in the whole year to tell some people about the Man of Truth.  I had witnessed people coming down to the altar after Christmas presentations and surrendering control of their lives to the Man of Truth.  I witnessed how they were delivered instantly from alcoholism, drug addiction and the like.  In short, Christmas had been used to deliver people from the monster within that was destroying their lives.  I knew for certain that these people had not been delivered from the Spirits of Lies (devils aka demons aka unclean spirits aka gods) by the power of the Father of Lies (Matthew 12:26).  The position of these religious professionals that it did not matter to the Father of Truth that His children were celebrating the birthday of His Son in the wrong month and using pagan customs to do so as long as they were honoring His Son seemed to be true.

I had a similar experience when it came to which day of the week to celebrate the Sabbath on.  Those who were for Sunday had answers that seemed to support the idea that the Father of Truth had changed the day of rest from the original Sabbath (Saturday) to the day that the Man of Truth rose from the dead (Sunday).  They even referred to three verses from the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament) that seemed to support their position.

Now things are different.  I have become like the Mensch who killed Christmas and will never go back to celebrating Christmas.  I have finally determined how to go about cleaning up the Christmas mess.  In like manner, I have been observing the actual Sabbath (Saturday) for a long time now.

So what is different now?  Why did I go back and forth about Christmas before while now I no longer waver between two opinions?  Why am I am now as firm as a rock on my resolve to not celebrate Christmas?  Why can I never go back to treating Sunday as the Sabbath?

The difference is the type of knowledge that I operated under for there are two kinds of knowledge.  When I was only operating on natural knowledge like the facts about the pagan sources of Christmas then I could be persuaded by natural reasoning since the Spirit of Truth had plainly moved to bring people into the House of Truth despite the pagan practices.

It was when I investigated the Book of Truth for myself to see if the Father of Truth cared or not that we were celebrating the birthday of His son on a day that was plainly not his birthday and using pagan practices to do so that things changed.  It was learning the Doctrine of Truth about how the Father of Truth felt about these things that changed everything.

I learned that the Father of Truth wanted everything that had to do with the worship idols destroyed but to not do so with everything that comes from Him (Deuteronomy 12:2-4).  I learned that the Father of Truth did not want His Children using the practices of idol worship when they were worshiping Him (Deuteronomy 12:29-31).  I learned that the Father of Truth did not want His Children to learn to practices that came from idolatry like putting up a Christmas tree that obviously is a rehearsal of the ancient practice of putting up an idol (Jeremiah 10:2-5).  I learned that the Spirit of Truth said that it was necessary for the Children of Truth to abstain from even eating food associated with idolatry (Acts 15:28-29).  I learned that the Apostles of Truth taught that the Children of Truth should not be joining in things like the traditional Christmas dinner that is an obvious rehearsal of the ancient feast to the Spirits of Lies that was eaten on the day that was falsely assigned as the birthday of the Man of Truth (1 Corinthians 10:19-21).  I learned that the Man of Truth dealt severely with those who first taught the Children of Truth to participate in these feasts (Revelation 2:20-23).

When I learned that the practices of Christmas were questionable based on head knowledge that came from reading human sources then I was able to be convinced to go along with those practices.  However, when I learned that the practices of Christmas were repulsive to the Father of Truth based on heart knowledge that came learning the Doctrine of Truth then I found these practices to also be too repulsive for me to participate in.   So it was learning the Doctrine of Truth that has made my resolve unshakable because this was heart knowledge instead of just head knowledge.

The situation with the Sabbath also demonstrated the difference between head knowledge and heart knowledge in the opposite way.  In this case, I had been visiting different congregations that met on the Sabbath every few months for about a period of ten years.  At every single congregation, I told them why I thought that the Father of Truth had changed the Sabbath to Sunday in the Renewed Covenant based on three passages in the Renewed Covenant.  I asked them to show me in the Renewed Covenant why that was not the case .

In particular, I wanted to know why it appeared that the Father of Truth had changed the day of the Sabbath in the Renewed Covenant if He had not done so.  I showed them my three passages.  The answers that most of them gave me were based off of traditions that they had either grown up with or had learned in their congregations.

I heard many explanations but not one time did anyone actually show me from the Renewed Covenant why that was not the case.  Not once, in ten years time, visiting more than twenty congregations that met on the actual Sabbath (Saturday), did I find anyone who could answer my questions from the Renewed Covenant.  The truth is their reasons for meeting on Saturday were really no better than the reasons other people gave for meeting on Sunday.  In fact, they were worse in that some of the Sunday people were doing so based these passages in the Renewed Covenant to the best of their understanding while the Saturday people could not explain why the Sunday people were wrong in their understanding of those passages.  They were unable to convince me that the Father of Truth had not changed the Sabbath to Sunday in the Renewed Covenant because they were only operating on head knowledge and that is all that they could use to persuade me.

What changed was when I was making my timeline of the Apostolic Age.  I was tracking the movements of Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) when I got a point where I was stuck.  I had carefully researched how far people could walk in a day in each area, how far it was between cities listed in the Renewed Covenant using the existing roads, and the exact date of certain events like the Feasts of Truth.  I came across a case where Paul the Jew had to be in the next city by one of the Feasts of Truth and there was simply not enough time if he left on Monday after preaching on Sunday.  I became very frustrated and rechecked all of my facts to see where I had made an error.  I could not find one.  Finally, I prayed out loud in frustration "Lord, I cannot make this work!".  Unexpectedly I heard the voice of the Man of Truth and he said, "That is because they met on Saturday and not on Sunday".  I was stunned but that did make things work out.

I started bringing up my objections and the Spirit of Truth told me to examine those passages carefully.  One of them did not even say in English what I had thought it had said but I had heard it wrong so many times that I was blind to the obvious.  Then the Spirit of Truth had me read the other passages in the original Greek where I found some issues with the translation of one the passages.  Then the Spirit of Truth directed me as I researched the historical context of the key phrases in the those passages.  In about an hour the Spirit of Truth was able to answer my question that countless observers of the Sabbath on Saturday had not been able to answer over a ten year period.  After that, there was no going back to believing that the Father of Truth had changed the Sabbath to Sunday.

You see now I had heart knowledge that the Sabbath had never been changed in the Renewed Covenant based on the Doctrine of Truth instead of just head knowledge based on the opinions of other people.  Again, head knowledge is based on what other people say while heart knowledge is based on what the Spirit of Truth says.  Head knowledge can waver but heart knowledge is unmovable.

Now make no mistake, I did somehow become more saved because I fled from the idolatrous practices of Christmas.  I did not come into the House of Truth through any means other than faith in the Man of Truth.  It is just that when the Spirit of Truth lead me into the Doctrine of Truth concerning Christmas that I grew to be more like the Man of Truth in my dealings with Christmas.   The Children of Truth do not become saved by increasing their knowledge of the Doctrine of Truth.  They are saved by faith but grow by knowledge.

I also did not become more saved by finally grasping the truth about the Sabbath.  The truth is that it is easy to come to the wrong conclusion based on those verses without doing a lot of study.  It took the Spirit of Truth directing me, a lot of study, and years of preparation before that day, just so I could find out who changed the Sabbath.

In this case the translators themselves had done the best job possible to translate those more difficult Greek phrases without the benefit of the historical and cultural context. They could not just get on the Internet like I did and find out what the literal translation meant.  They probably did not have the benefit of living in Greece like I had when I was immersed in Greek culture for more than two years.  They were not Jewish and probably had limited access to learn about Jewish customs.  The translators were so careful in their translation that if anything was in doubt or added for clarity they had put it in italics so the reader would know that.  (In the most difficult Greek phrase they had added the word "day" for clarification but italicized it so the reader would know this was the case.)  This was simply a case of human error even though they did the best job that they could.  This was nothing like the one disturbing sentence that is in many modern translations.  They were not guilty of adding to the Doctrine of Lies.

The same could be said for those religious professionals who had convinced me to resume celebrating Christmas.  In fact, if it was not for those religious professionals teaching me how to really study the Book of Truth and how to hear the Spirit of Truth then I would be still celebrating Christmas and thinking that the Father of Truth had changed the Sabbath to Sunday.  Those who opposed those things had only given me human reasoning that was not that different from the human reasoning that the supporters of those things had given.  I have heart knowledge that has erased every doubt about Christmas and the Sabbath being on Saturday because I was enabled to do so by what I had learned from the religious professionals who celebrated Christmas and thought that the Sabbath had been moved to Sunday!

The Spirit of Truth used their Christmas celebrations and Sunday sermons to bring people into the House of Truth because they were operating out of ignorance and not rebellion.  The Father of Truth simply does not require people to get everything right all the time in order to use them.  If He did then the Man of Truth would be the only person he could have ever used.  Thinking that people must get the deeper understanding of the Doctrine of Truth before they can come into the House of Truth or lead others into the House of Truth is putting the cart before the Horse.

The truth is many times the Children of Truth may have some things right but it is only based on head knowledge.  It is a whole lot easier to acquire head knowledge than heart knowledge.  Some of them have not yet acquired the skills to make gaining heart knowledge easier.   However most of them are really just too lazy to get heart knowledge.  It is far easier to get head knowledge based off what some person says about the Book of Truth than to get heart knowledge based off what the Spirit of Truth says about the Book of Truth.

Some things require help from the Spirit of Truth to understand (1 Corinthians 2:10-12).  Some things can only be understood by studying the Book of Truth in depth (2 Timothy 2:15).  Some things in the Book of Truth are just hard to understand (2 Peter 3:15-16).

This certainly does not mean that the religious professionals have no place in people getting heart knowledge.  People must hear the Word of Truth before they can come into the House of Truth (Romans 10:14).  Religious professionals are the main way that most people come into the House of Truth (Romans 10:17).  The Father of Truth gave religious professionals to the Children of Truth for the very purpose of helping people have heart knowledge of the Doctrine of Truth (Ephesians 4:11-14).

It is just that the Children of Truth are not to be lazy and believe whatever the religious professionals tell them without verifying that it is true for themselves so that they only end up with head knowledge.  The Bereans were called more noble than others for not just taking the word of Paul the Jew (Shual aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) and Silas the Jew (Silvanus) but searching the Original Covenant (Tanach aka The Old Testament), the only part of the Book of Truth they had, to see if what these Apostles of Truth told them was true before the Bereans believed their message (Acts 17:10-12).   The Children of Truth are to test everything against the Book of Truth so that they can have heart knowledge of the Doctrine of Truth (1 Thessalonians 5:21).  (This is why I give links to every scripture I reference in this blog.)
  
Heart knowledge comes from getting the Word of Truth into your heart (Luke 8:12).  Heart knowledge comes from believing what the Prophets of Truth spoke in the Book of Truth (Luke 24:25).  Heart knowledge comes from believing in the Man of Truth (Acts 8:37).  Heart knowledge comes from believing what is in the Book of Truth with the heart while head knowledge comes from knowing what is in the Book of Truth with the mind (Romans 10:10).

Heart knowledge only comes from knowing what the entire Book of Truth that the Father of Truth gave says about a subject (2 Timothy 3:14-17).  The Book of Truth is a more sure word of prophecy from the Spirit of Truth than hearing the Father of Truth speak out of the clouds in person (2 Peter 1:17-21).  Any message that anyone gives, even by supernatural means, that does not agree with what is written in the Book of Truth is not from the Spirit of Truth (1 John 4:1-3).

Heart knowledge comes from what the Spirit of Truth says about the Book of Truth.  The Father of Truth gave the Spirit of Truth to the Children of Truth so they could have heart knowledge of everything in the Book of Truth (Ezekiel 11:19-20).  The Spirit of Truth will lead the Children of Truth into heart knowledge of the Doctrine of Truth when they are mature enough to learn it (John 16:12-14).  The Spirit of Truth writes the Doctrine of Truth upon the hearts of the Children of Truth (2 Corinthians 3:2-4).  The Spirit of Truth only writes the Doctrine of Truth that is found in the Book of Truth upon the hearts of the Children of Truth (1 John 4:5-7).

The truth is anyone who really wants to have heart knowledge of the Doctrine of Truth can have it.  The Father of Truth, who is the source of all truth, promises that anyone who seeks Him with all their heart by repenting of their sin will find Him no matter what they have done (Deuteronomy 4:28-30).   The Father of Truth wants you to find Him by coming into the House of Truth so He can do good to you as He has always planned (Jeremiah 29:11-13).  The Father of Truth will clean your heart so the Spirit of Truth can cause you to have heart knowledge of everything in the Book of Truth (Ezekiel 36:25-27).  The Man of Truth is the only way to come into the House of Truth and live with the Father of Truth (John 14:6).   Heart knowledge begins when you come into the House of Truth by surrendering control of your life to the Man of Truth because you believe the Doctrine of Truth with your heart that says the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).  The Father of Truth send the Spirit of Truth to live in everyone who comes into the House of Truth (Galatians 4:6).

A Time To Start Over

Is there really any way for you to start over?

At the end of every year people celebrate the beginning of a new year.  They often spend the last day of the year reflecting on the year that is ending and what they would like to do better in the new year than they did in the old year.  So they make resolutions about how things are going to different once the new year begins.  For many people New Year's Day is a time to start over.

Of course, most of the time not really much changes.  They still have the same problems on January 1st that that they had on December 31st.  They are in the same relationships with same people.  They have the same job and the same pressures in the new year that acted upon them in the old year.  Their resolutions for change quickly fall to the wayside.   Their hopes for a time to start over vanish like the snow when the weather suddenly warms up.

The truth is that your life is really nothing more than an unbroken series of events that have occurred since the moment you were conceived.  Concepts like days, weeks, months and years are just convenient ways of organizing and measuring those events.  For example, someone may talk of their high school days to mean the collection of events that occurred from when they entered high school until when they graduated high school.  The changing of the number assigned to a calendar year does not really mean that is a time to start over.

Many of these events driven by choices that others have made but affect you in some manner.  For example, your parents made a choice that lead to your conception and then another that lead to your birth.  You then made other choices that drove other events that have shaped your life.  For example, you might have made a choice to go to college after high school.  Often people look at their lives and realize that these events have not shaped their life into what they wish it was like.  They get excited about the changing of the calendar year when what they really long for is a time to start over.

Is there really any way for you to start over?  Is there ever really a time to start over?

You might realize that you are among those who make resolutions each New Year's Day only to watch them be broken by the first of February.  You need to make a resolution that you can keep.  When you do then you will find there really is a time to start over.

You came alive the moment your father took action to cause your mother to conceive.  You came into the natural world the moment you were born of your mother.  The rest of your life was shaped by the events that occurred after that.  So in order for there to be a time to start over you would have to a second beginning.

The Good News is that the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) has taken action to cause you be conceived a second time by giving you the Word of Truth (James 1:18).  He has resurrected the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) so that you can have a time to start over (1 Peter 1:3-5).

The only way for you to truly have a second beginning to change the course of your life is to be born again (John 3:3).  This why the Man of Truth said that you must be born again (John 3:7).  You can only be born again from the seed that the Father of Truth uses to beget the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) in the House of Truth (1 Peter 1:23).

When you are born a second time you are born of the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) in the spirit into the House of Truth instead of being born of a woman in the flesh into the world (John 3:4-6).  When you are born a second time you become a brand new person so you will truly start over (2 Corinthians 5:17).  It does not matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile because being born again has nothing to do with the flesh (Galatians 6:15).

You will start over because you become as uncontrollable by the world and as unpredictable to the world as the wind when you are born of the Spirit of Truth (John 3:8).  You will no longer be conformed to living like everyone else because you will begin to think like Man of Truth so that you can do what is pleasing to the Father of Truth (Romans 12:2).  The Father of Truth will cause you to both desire and be able to live in His ways as you work out the details of how to live out your salvation (Philippians 2:12-13).

Of course, this will not happen at once overnight because you are starting over.   You have to grow into be able to eat the meat of the Word of Truth in same way you had grow into eating solid food after you were born in the flesh (1 Corinthians 3:1-3).  Just like you were born in the flesh as a baby and then could only drink milk until you grew up some so also will you only be able to take in what is easy to digest from the Word of Truth at first because you are also born in the spirit as a baby until you grow up into righteous living (Hebrews 5:12-14).  You will grow up into righteous living if you drink in the Word of Truth like a baby grows by drinking in milk (1 Peter 2:1-3).

When you start over in the House of Truth you will no longer be a slave to sin (John 8:31-32).  You will not be a slave to sin because the Man of Truth will set you free from sin (John 8:34-36).  You will grow in obedience to the Father of Truth until doing what is right is as natural as doing what was wrong used to be (Romans 6:15-17).  All you have to do is stay in the House of Truth.

It will be a time to start over because the Spirit of Truth will give you the ability to obey the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) from the heart (Ezekiel 36:26-27).  The Father of Truth will put the Spirit of Truth in your heart (2 Corinthians 1:21-22).  Everyone will be able to see that the Spirit of Truth is writing the epistle of the Man of Truth on your heart (2 Corinthians 3:2-3).  Since the Spirit of Truth will be in your heart you will be able call the Father of Truth your daddy (Galatians 4:6).  You will no longer find it hard to keep His commandments (1 John 5:3).  You will not find it hard to keep the Law of Truth because you will be able to join me in saying that the Law of Truth has been written on my heart.

When you start over you will not instantly have everything fixed.  You will still have the same problems as before.  You might even suffer some of the consequences from the decisions you made before you started over.  You will have the same pressures as before.

However you will be different on the inside and that will make all the difference.  You will no longer be relying on only your own will power to have the strength to change.  You will have the Spirit of Truth living on the inside.  You will be on the side of the Father of Truth.  You will the Man of Truth interceding on your behalf.

So your response to those problems, consequences and pressures will be different.  You will no longer keep making the same decisions that you made before that keep perpetuating your problems.  You will see everything differently and react differently.  This will drive different decisions that will lead to different results and ultimately to a different destination.

When you start over in the House of Truth you will have changed your destination from death to life (John 5:24).  You will know that the death of your body begins your life of forever being with the Man of Truth (2 Corinthians 5:6-8).  You will no longer be in bondage to the fear of death (Hebrews 2:14-15).  The second death will never come to those who have started over in the House of Truth (Revelation 20:6).  You will understand what I mean when I say that the moment of my last breath is the moment I become alive.

You need to understand that starting over means changes in every area of life and not everyone is going to be happy about those changes.  When you come into the House of Truth to start over some people will turn on you (Matthew 10:21-22).   You will suffer some sort of persecution from other people when you come into the House of Truth (2 Timothy 3:12).  They will think that it strange that you no longer do the same kind of things that you once did (1 Peter 4:3-5).  Yet whatever you suffer at their hands for the sake of remaining in the House of Truth will only make you more like the Man of Truth (1 Peter 4:12-14).  When you start over in the House of Truth it is so you can become like the Man of Truth in this world (1 John 4:15-17).

You come into the House of Truth to start over when you surrender control of your life to the Man of Truth because you believe that His Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).  Today is the day to come into the House of Truth because now is a time to start over (2 Corinthians 6:2).

A Resolution That You Can Keep

Would you like to make a resolution that you can keep this year?

Every New Year's Day millions of Americans make New Year's resolutions.  They resolve that something in their life is going to be different starting with this year than it was in prior years.  Many times these resolutions involve some area of their life where they would like to have more discipline than they had in the previous year.  So they make resolutions to do things like lose weight, get more exercise, save more money, spend more time with their family and less time at work, stop smoking and the like. These are among the most popular New Year's resolutions.

The problem with New Year's resolutions is that people are almost never able to keep them.  Studies show that on average people have already broken their New Year's resolutions within ten days of making them and that most New Year resolutions are completely abandoned by February first.

The reason for this is that the other changes in their lives necessary to carry out their resolutions rarely happen.  They still have the same issues to deal with on January 2 of the new year that they had on December 31 of the old year.  The calendar changing from one year to another on January 1 did not change anything significant in their lives.  They still have the same job that they had before. They still have the same friends that they had before.  They still have the same family that they had before.  They still have the problems that they had before.  They still have the same things that drive their behavior.

The fact is they often do not have the will power to change even if that was all that was needed.  When they face the same temptations they fall back into the same patterns of behavior.  Even if they push everything out of their lives that might tempt them they are still the same on the inside.  Once they find themselves in those same circumstances they end up making the same choices.  They are simply slaves that cannot free themselves no matter how much they want to be free.

Then there are all of those unexpected and unforeseeable things that prevent them from carrying out their resolutions even if they have the will power.  They get injured or fall ill so that they cannot exercise and consequently gain weight.  They are laid off through no fault of their own and no longer have money to save.  They survive a lay off (which is sometimes worse than being laid off) only to find that they are now expected to make up some of the work that was being performed by those that were laid off on top of their own work.  They suffer a calamity of some sort like an accident or serious illness that devours their money.  In other words, life happens to them.

So in short they cannot make the changes that they would like to make even if they have the will power to do so because will power alone is not enough to bring about those changes.  Everything in their life is not in their control no matter how much they wish it was so .  They are making resolutions that they cannot keep.

Would it not be better to make a resolution that you can keep instead of making one that is probably doomed to failure?

The good news is that there is a resolution that you can keep.  This resolution will bring about all kinds of changes in your life when you keep it.  When you keep this resolution then you will find that you will gain the power to keep those other resolutions.  When you keep this resolution then you will be set free from the prison that your habits have built.  When you keep this resolution then you will be able to rise above every circumstance that would otherwise prevent you from making the kinds of changes that you want in your life.

A resolution that you can keep is one that does not rely upon your will power and external circumstances to be kept.  You can keep this resolution long after other resolutions are abandoned because it deals with the root cause of those things that you want out of your life instead of just the symptoms.

A resolution that you can keep is total surrender to the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ). 

This resolution will bring about the resolution of the sin problem in your life.  All of those things that you want to change in your life are the result of only one root cause and that root cause is sin.

The first thing to understand about sin is that sin is a universal problem throughout the human race.  There is no one that has not sinned (1 Kings 8:46).  No one in the entire world is good (Psalm 14:2-3).  There is not one person that has enough understanding in their own strength to avoid sin (Romans 3:10-12).  Anyone that thinks that they have never sinned is self-deceived (1 John 1:8).

Before people can avoid sin they have to know what sin is.  People can sin without knowing that they are sinning (Numbers 15:29).  People can be so ignorant of what defines sin that it is like not knowing the difference between left and right (Jonah 4:11).

The Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) was given to Moses so that people could know what was sin (Romans 3:20).  The Law of Truth revealed the sin that had already existed before it was ever given (Romans 5:13).  Only no one knew what was sin until the Law of Truth was given (Romans 7:7).  Since the Law of Truth tells what sin is then doing anything that is contrary to what is commanded in the Law of Truth is sin (1 John 3:4).

However, knowing what is sin does not keep anyone from committing sin.  Those that have been given the Law of Truth so they could know what was sin have done no better at avoiding sin than those that did not have the Law of Truth (Romans 2:12).  The Jews are just as guilty as the Gentiles (Romans 3:9).

So the Law of Truth is not enough to keep people from sin.  The Law of Truth is holy, just and good (Romans 7:12).  The problem is that we are not (Romans 7:14-16).

We cannot be good on our own because sin lives in our bodies (Romans 7:17-18).  It is the sin that lives in our bodies which keeps us from making those changes that we want to make in our lives (Romans 7:19-21).  So no matter how much we want to change to live in line with the Law of Truth we end up breaking it anyways because we are slaves to sin (Romans 7:22-23).  We simply cannot live in line with the Law of Truth on our own strength due to the sin that lives in our bodies (Romans 8:6-8).

Even worse the sin that lives in our bodies always brings death.  Our bodies die because sin lives in them (Romans 5:12).  This why people still died before the Law of Truth was ever given to Moses (Romans 5:14).  This is why we continue in behavior that we know is self destructive and will lead us to death (Romans 7:5).  The Law of Truth was given so that we could see how terrible sin really is (Romans 7:13).

Since sin is universal, lives in our bodies and always results in death then we need someone to deliver us from our hopeless state (Romans 7:24).

The obedience to the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) by the Man of Truth has made him able to bring a resolution to our sin problem (Romans 5:19-21).  We have earned death with our actions that are the result from the sin that lives in our bodies but He has given us the gift of eternal life through the Man of Truth (Romans 6:23).

There is deliverance from slavery to sin when you submit in total surrender to the Man of Truth (Romans 7:25).  It is keeping your resolution of total surrender to the Man of Truth that sets you free from the sin that leads to death (Romans 8:1-2). 

Total surrender to the Man of Truth  is a resolution that you can keep because the Man of Truth has already done all of the heavy lifting. The Man of Truth died to pay for your sins and rose again so you could be counted as sinless (Romans 4:23-25).  When you had no ability to save yourself the Man of Truth died to resolve your sin problem (Romans 5:6).  The Man of Truth suffered the terrible brutality of the cross so you could be free from being controlled by the sin that lives in your body (1 Peter 4:1-2).

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep because the Man of Truth will live in you to make you strong enough to keep this resolution.  If you will live in the Man of Truth then He will live in you so that you can keep this resolution (John 15:4-5).  He is strong enough to enable you to keep this resolution when he is living in you (Colossians 1:27-29).  If he is living you then you can live like he did, free from the sin, in this world (1 John 4:17).

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep because of the Word of Truth will give you the ability to do so.  It is continuing to obey the Word of Truth that sets you free from the sin that lives in your body (John 8:31-32). When you live in the Man of Truth and the Word of Truth lives in you then you will be able to keep this resolution (John 15:7-8).  The Word of Truth will renew your mind so that you can keep this resolution (Romans 12:1-2).

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep because the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) will help you to keep this resolution.  The Spirit of Truth is given to everyone that makes a resolution of total surrender to the Man of Truth (John 14:15-17).  The Spirit of Truth will guide you into all truth so that you know how to keep this resolution (John 16:13).  The Spirit of Truth will give you the strength to keep your resolution because you will not be relying on your own strength (Romans 8:3-5).

This resolution that you can keep begins when you are born again as a Child of Truth.  You must born again to keep this resolution (John 3:3-5).  Those that are born again are born as a spirit to the Spirit of Truth just as they were born as a body to a human mother (John 3:6-8).  The Spirit of Truth lives in everyone that is born again, just like they carry the DNA of their mother in their bodies when they were born the first time, so that they can keep this resolution (Romans 8:9-10).  The Spirit of Truth living on the inside makes total surrender to the Man of Truth to be a resolution that you can keep (Romans 8:12-14).  The Spirit of Truth will tell you on the inside that this is a resolution that you can keep (Romans 8:15-16).  The Spirit of Truth living on the inside of you will produce outside behavior that is pleasing to the Father of Truth as naturally as apple trees produce apples (Galatians 5:22-23).

When you are born again you are born as a baby.  It is like a riddle that I had in a set of riddle cards when I was seven years old.  Question : "How many big men were born in New York City?"  Answer: "None - just little babies were born there".  You start out as a baby Child of Truth and grow up from there.  It is a process whereby you become more and more like the Man of Truth day by day. 

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep if you decide to make it because the Father of Truth will help you to keep it.  The Father of Truth has given other people that have made the same resolution to help you keep your resolution so that you can grow up to be like the Man of Truth (Ephesians 4:11-15).

Make no mistake I am not saying that you do not have to do anything and your life will get better overnight without any effort on your behalf.  This is the Father of Truth working with you to make changes in your life.  He has a part that He began when He sent the Man of Truth but you also have a part.  He sent the Man of Truth into this world so that He could work with you to keep this resolution (Matthew 1:22-23).

It is not all up to the Father of Truth.

You are the one that has to decide that you are going to obey the Man of Truth in total surrender to the best of your ability and understanding because you love him (John 15:9-11).  You are the one that has to decide that you are going to be the friend of the Man of Truth by making a resolution to submit to him in total surrender (John 15:14-15).  You are the one that has to reject what is evil and desire the Word of Truth like a baby desires milk so that you can grow up (1 Peter 2:1-3).

It is not all up to you either.

It is the Man of Truth and you working together that makes it possible for you to keep your resolution to submit to the Man of Truth in total surrender.  The Man of Truth began the process and he will finish it but it is up to you to look to him for strength as you run your leg of the race (Hebrews 12:1-3).   The Man of Truth did his part to help you overcome every obstacle when he shed his blood on the cross and you do your part when you learn to say the same thing as the Word of Truth about your situation (Revelation 12:11).  It is a partnership.

There are no circumstances that can prevent you from keeping this resolution. No one can pry you from the hand of the Father of Truth once you make this resolution (John 10:29).  There are no circumstances that can separate you from the love of the Man of Truth (Romans 8:35-37).  No one can separate you from the love of the Father of Truth (Romans 8:38-39).

What if you should slip in your resolve?  You can still keep your resolution by getting back up and keep trying again (Proverbs 24:16).  You can judge yourself and change your behavior or you will be chastised by the Father of Truth so that you will not continue to slip (1 Corinthians 11:31-32).  The Father of Truth will chastise you for your disobedience but you will still be His child (Hebrews 12:5-7).  He will chastise you so that you will learn to be like Him (Hebrews 12:8-10).

As you learn how to keep this resolution then you will learn how to avoid everything that is defined as sin in the Law of Truth (Romans 3:31).  This resolution is a long war that lasts for your entire life against everything that would lead you into sin (2 Corinthians 10:3-6).  When you keep this resolution and win this war you will become like the Man of Truth in every way (1 John 3:2).

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep. The only way to lose this war is to quit fighting.  You have all the help you need to keep this resolution but you must stay in the House of Truth to do so (Matthew 24:13).  You must not leave the House of Truth like Judas did or you will also fail to keep your resolution (Acts 1:25).  You must not leave the House of Truth or you will fall from the grace that makes it possible to keep this resolution (Galatians 5:4-5).  You must not leave the House of Truth or you will fail to receive the help that you need to keep this resolution (Hebrews 12:14-16).  It would be better to never come into the House of Truth than to leave the House of Truth (2 Peter 2:20-22).

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep.  You make this resolution when come into the House of Truth. You come into the House of Truth when call the Man of Truth the boss of every area of your life because you believe that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).

Resolution (Firmness of Purpose)

 How can you keep your resolution to eat healthier this year?

I recently attended a holiday brunch where there was a beautiful spread of food. It started with appetizers then went to salads then to main dishes and finally to desserts. We went through the line like a buffet. At the end, one of the ladies looked down at my plate which was not very full and said it was no wonder how I maintain my girlish figure. In which case I thought, I do that through exercise, not through not eating. In fact, I have no problem with eating. I eat three meals a day and usually a snack or two. I eat as much as anybody in my family if not more. So, if this was supposed to be one of my meals for the day, then why did I have so little on my plate? Simple, most of the food there was not really a healthy choice. I believe in feeding my body the right things.

Why do we find it so important to take care of our bodies? Why is it that around this time a year we make resolutions to lose weight, to exercise more, and to eat better? What is our drive as the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) to fulfill these resolutions?  Our society encourages these drives by telling us what beauty looks like.  A good looking man is tall, dark, handsome, and buff. A good looking woman has a small waist line, has no wrinkles, and looks forever 21. Is this what drives us as followers of the Man of Truth? It should not be.

What should drive us as followers of the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) is recognizing that under the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament) through the Man of Truth that our body is the temple of the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) and it does not belong to us (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).  If our body is the place where the Spirit of Truth lives then we want to make sure that it is the best possible place for the Spirit of Truth because the Spirit of Truth is also the same as the Father of Truth in nature (1 Corinthians 3:16-17).  I know I do.  So how do we make sure that we are taking proper care of our bodies?  Well, we could follow the advice of modern physicians or we could look to see what the Great Physician has to say about it.  And where do we look to find such information?  In the Book of Truth (The Bible), of course!

In the Book of Truth you will find the answers on how to be healthy (i.e. the best possible shape our temple can be from the inside out).  What is one of the best ways to make sure that you are healthy on the inside and the outside?  By what you eat!  There are the obvious choices such as not eating a lot of sugary food or high calorie foods with little nutrition but the Book of Truth tells us specifically what to eat and what not to eat.  A lot of the Children of Truth think that since we are under the Renewed Covenant that the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) is has no meaning for us. Of course, if this was really the case then we would not need the whole Original Covenant (Tanach aka Old Testament) to begin with.  We could simply grow in the faith and knowledge that we need from the Renewed Testament.  The Book of Truth would certainly be shorter and easier to read that way. However, the Man of Truth tells us that He did not come to destroy the Law but to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17).  If the Man of Truth fulfilled it and did not destroy it, then we should probably pay attention to it.

Our faith is built upon the foundation of the Renewed Covenant written by the Apostles of Truth and the Original Covenant written by the Prophets of Truth (Ephesians 2:20-2). The entire Book of Truth came from The Father of Truth so that the Children of Truth could reach full maturity (Timothy 3:16-17). This is why things in the Renewed Covenant align with things in the Original Covenant, so let us explore what the Renewed Covenant has to say about our eating habits.

First let us take a look at the diet of the Man of Truth. After all, he should be example in all things in life, right? That is part of the reason he came to Earth in human form was so he could model the proper lifestyle so that the Children of Truth would no longer live in darkness (John 12:46).  The Man of Truth was Jewish (Matthew 2:2).  The Man of Truth followed the Law of Truth that was given to the Jews by His Father so that no one could convict him of sin (John 8:46).  The Father of Truth told the Jews if they were to follow that Law of Truth then they would have a long healthy life (Exodus 23:25-26).

The Man of Truth chose to only eat what His Father said was good to eat because he had faith that the Father of Truth had greater understanding of the limits of a human body and knew why we should only consume certain foods. The Man of Truth lived by faith in His Father (1 John 3:4).  The Children of Truth are to also live by faith in their Father (Hebrews 10:38-39).  They should in like manner keep His commandments because they have faith in Him like the Man of Truth (Revelation 14:12).

Also a common argument is often made with the dream of Peter. In this dream, the Father of Truth sends down on a sheet with a whole bunch of animals for Peter to eat that as a Jew he would never even consider eating (Acts 10:9-13). Peter tells Him that he would never defile himself in such a way by eating something unclean (literally “unable to be cleaned from pollution”) (Acts 10:14).  The Father of Truth states that what He has cleansed of pollution is alright to eat (Acts 10:15). This repeats 3 times (Acts 10:16). Peter did not understand what this vision meant when the Gentiles came to him (Acts 10:17). Then shortly after the vision, Peter understands that the Father of Truth was telling him that He could cleanse the Gentiles from the pollution of sin (Acts 10:28).

In the Rabbinical law that was added by men to the Law of Truth, it was unlawful to eat with Gentiles (anyone not Jewish) because they were considered not able to be cleaned from sin. This man-made tradition was no more the commandment of the Father of Truth than their commandments concerning washing cups and pots (Mark 7:6-8). So He was saying that Gentiles could be cleansed by the blood of the Man of Truth to become as clean the Jews that had been cleansed by his blood (Acts 11:17-18). Anyone, Jew or Gentile, that had been cleansed through his blood is no longer polluted by sin (1 John 1:7).

 

So, all in all, this passage has absolutely nothing to do with eating. It was simply a metaphor from the Father of Truth.  This vision was no more about Him making all animals clean to eat than the parable of the sower was farming advice from His Son (Matthew 13:3-8).  The Father of Truth, who gave of the vision, told the meaning of the vision just like how Jesus, who told the parable of the sower, gave the meaning of the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:18-23).  Who are we to apply a different meaning other the one given in the Book of Truth?

In addition, even if it was not symbolic, the Father of Truth had only cleansed those exact animals on the sheet - not every animal on Earth.  Since the animals floated down on a giant sheet, my guess is they came from Heaven, not the Earth anyway.  So this is not a reasonable argument that we are going to be healthy while eating the food that He has declared as polluted (unclean).  We should want what is best for our bodies and food that is recommended by Him is what is best for our body.

So where do I find the list of the right things to eat for my body?  I find it in the Book of Truth where there are no lies about how I can live a blessed, healthy, and full life.  So I suggest that you make it your New Year resolution to dig deeper and find out what the Book of Truth tells you about how to take care of your temple so that you are eating in the House of Truth.

Of course, in the long run it does not matter what you eat if you do not come into the House of Truth.  You need to come into the House of Truth so that the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) can help you keep this resolution (John 16:13).  You come into the House of Truth when you give control of what you eat and everything else in your life to the Man of Truth because you believe that His Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).

Come into the House of Truth.
