Step By Step

How does real change usually come?

When I first came into the House of Truth, I was ignorant of the gifts of the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost), did not read the Original Covenant (Tanakh aka The Old Testament), listened to secular music, worked seven days a week, ate pretty much anything that moved, was disconnected from the Jewish people, refused to go to church, and celebrated religious holidays like Easter, Halloween, and Christmas in the same way as everyone else.

Thirty years later, I operated in the gifts of the Spirit of Truth, read the entire Book of Truth (The Bible), listened to only Christian music, worked only six days a week, only ate food that the Book of Truth calls clean, had assimilated into the Jewish people, went to church and rested on the Sabbath, and only celebrated religious holidays like Passover, Pentecost, and the Feast of Tabernacles - without Rabbinic distort.

These changes that did not happen suddenly when I completed the one step program and came to the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) in total surrender.  These changes did not happen instantly, like when I was delivered from the monster within.

These changes did not come overnight, nor did I make any of them out of a sense of condemnation. In fact, many of them occurred without any conscious effort on my behalf.  I did not plan them and they did not occur in one giant leap.

I got from where I was to where I am step by step.

The fact is, that many of these changes did not start until a long while had passed.  I was one messed human being, and the Spirit of Truth simply had bigger fish to fry, when it came to my life.

For example, before I came into the House of Truth, I had a list of people in my head that I wanted to bury in the woods AND an obsession with bacon.  It should be obvious that the list was a bigger problem than the bacon.

Do not get me wrong.  I am in no way teaching that people should ignore what the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) says about eating, for I want to be great in the Kingdom of the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) (Matthew 5:17-19).

I am saying that the weightier matters of the Law of Truth had to be taken care of first, before the lessor matters of the Law of Truth could be dealt with.  This is the same thing that the Man of Truth said (Matthew 23:23).

So, there was a transformation that started with the most important things.

Step One:  Came into the House of Truth

Before I came into the House of Truth, it was the peace that I experienced while playing Christian rock music while sleeping,  which had played a large part of my decision to surrender control of my life to the Man of Truth.

When I came into the House of Truth in 1982 AD, I immediately destroyed my secular records that blatantly glorified the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan Aka The Devil).  However, I continued to listen to the rest of my secular records, even though I did not experience the same peace as when I listened to Christian rock music.

However, I did read the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament) over and over again, even though there were lots of things in it that I did not understand.

So by the end of 1982 AD, I was ignorant of the gifts of the Spirit of Truth, refused to go to church, listened to secular music, was disconnected from the Jewish people, did not read the Original Covenant, worked seven days a week, ate pretty much anything that moved, and celebrated religious holidays like Easter, Halloween, and Christmas in the same way as everyone else.

Step 2:  Connected with the Spirit of Truth

I had read that the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) would lay hands on the sick and the sick would recover (Mark 16:18).  The religious professionals I asked, told me that this verse meant everything except what it said.

This was discouraging, because I had a chronic condition that doctors could treat, but not heal.

However, one Friday night I went with my cousin in Tulsa to hear a preacher in a warehouse.  He told us that this verse meant exactly what it said.  Then he laid hands on me and I was instantly healed.

It was not long before I was also laying hands on the sick in the name of the Man of Truth and the sick were recovering.

Still, I refused to go to church.

Then another Friday night at a home study, hands were laid on me and I began to produce the sound of power.  Once the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) began putting words in my mouth, there were some immediate changes.

First of all, I wanted to go to church all the time.

I wanted to spend as much time as possible praising the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD).  I wanted to hear the Word of Truth.  I wanted to learn more about the Man of Truth.  I wanted to be where the presence of the Spirit of Truth was overwhelming.

Second, I could not stand my secular records.  In fact, I went home and destroyed all of them, even though I only owned one Christian record at that time.  I listened to that Christian record over and over again, until I got another one.

Still, I continued to listen to secular music on the radio, because there were no stations that played Christian rock in Northwest Arkansas at the time.  In fact, the only Christian music on the radio at all were very slow church hymns that appealed mostly to old women like my Grandmothers.

However, when I was driving, most of the time I found myself either listening to someone preaching the Good News, or listening to someone teaching about something in the Book of Truth, or praying in other tongues.

I also began casting Spirits of Lies (devils aka demons aka unclean spirits aka gods) out of people.

So by 1983 AD, I was operating in the gifts of the Spirit of Truth.  I was also going to church every Sunday, and mostly listening to Christian music.

Still, I was disconnected from the Jewish people, continued to read only the Renewed Covenant, worked seven days a week, ate anything that moved, and celebrated the religious holidays that I had grown up with in the same way as everyone else.

Step 3:  Connected with the Greek people

After that, I prayed to get to know the Father of Truth better.  So, the Spirit of Truth led me to begin eating the breakfast of champions.  Soon, I had the strength to make more changes to my life.

So, I joined the US Air Force in 1985 AD and was stationed in Greece the next year to work on computer hardware.

While there, I lived in Sourmena, surrounded by Greeks.  It was there that I first began encountering things from Jewish culture, for Sourmena had been a Jewish colony in Greece.

I soon learned to read Greek.  I then began applying what I learned to study the Renewed Covenant in the original language.  Some of those things that I did not understand were starting to make more sense.

I began to spend as much time as possible praying in tongues and fasting.  I was becoming obsessed with fasting, because I had learned by experience that it is the fastest way to victory.

I would pray out loud in tongues on the roof of the house of my landlord, who could not speak English.  When my wife learned to speak Greek, she talked to my landlord about my praying on the roof.  He wanted to know why I could pray out loud in Greek, but could not understand people when they spoke to me in Greek.

(I did not know enough Greek at the time to know that I had been doing this.  My wife learned to speak Greek much quicker than me.)

Eventually, I had became so obsessed with these things that I was not spending adequate time with my wife and son.  I had found something that was literally better than sex!

The issue was not self-control, for the Spirit of Truth had given me self-control as promised (Galatians 5:22-23).  The problem was that I did not really know the right way to treat my wife and son.  I needed to know how to do these things better.

A large part of this problem was that I had never read the entire Original Covenant.  It had not been written in Greek and it was about four times as large as the Renewed Covenant.

Then one of the Children of Truth stationed in Greece challenged me to read the entire Book of Truth.  So, I began in Genesis (Bereshit) and went from there.

After I finished the Original Covenant, I realized that a lot of the Renewed Covenant was quotes from the Original Covenant.  I found that these two covenants were not at odds with each other as I had heard on the radio, but were really the inseparable covenants.

Some of those things that I had not understood before, now made sense.  I could see that I needed to make more changes in how I lived my life.

It was during this time that I came to resent the holidays that I had grown up with.  I had known before that they had pagan customs from idolatry, but after reading the Original Covenant, this began to really bother me.  I did not want anything to do with idolatry.  So, I decided to stop celebrating them.

My wife did not fight me on this, but she did say, that it did seem like the Father of Truth would not take something away from us, without giving us something better.  I thought she had a valid point, but I could not tell her what He had given us, instead of these holidays.

I also decided to stop listening to secular music completely while in Greece.  

This was tough to do, since there was only one English speaking radio station in Greece, the one that broadcast out of the base.  It only played Christian music for an hour and a half on Sunday each week on a show called "Love Alive".  There was very little Christian music that could be bought on base and none off base.

So, my wife had the idea that I record Love Alive on tapes and listen to that during the week.  I did this and listened to that in my car instead of the radio.  By this time, I had branched out to listening to other types of music besides hard rock and rap.  The words and the anointing of the Spirit of Truth were simply more important.

By the time I left Greece, I was dreaming in Greek.

So, when I was discharged from the US Air Force in 1989 AD, I was operating in the gifts of the Spirit, listening only to Christian music, and reading the entire Book of Truth.

Also I was going to church every Sunday, had unintentionally formed a weak connection to the Jewish people, and did not celebrate Easter, Halloween, and Christmas at all. 

However, I still worked seven days a week, and ate anything that moved.

Step 4:  Made time for the important things

After I returned home I found myself feeling sick to my stomach one day, when my brother asked me if I wanted to eat some barbecued bunny.

I had loved to eat this before, but now I did not want to eat this any more than I would want to eat dog poop.  I did not understand what was going on at the time, but for the first time in my life I was not willing to eat anything that moved. 

After that, the Spirit of Truth led me to move to Tulsa and go to school to learn to be a computer programmer.

In order to do that, the Spirit of Truth told me to create a weekly schedule and stick to it.  So, I created a schedule for each day of the week that had times for sleeping, eating, studying, working, spending time with my family, praying, and going to church.

When I got to Sunday, there was a four hour gap between lunch after the morning service and dinner before the evening service.  I started to write "study" in that space when the Spirit of Truth told me not to do so.  I asked what I should write instead.  The Spirit of Truth said, "sleep".

This was very contrary to my nature.  I had been working seven days a week, sometimes more than sixteen hours a day, for years.  I was constantly busy doing something.  Until 1988 AD, I had not been able to stand sleeping more than four hours per night.  However, I wrote "sleep" as instructed in that space on the schedule.  I then stuck to the schedule as instructed.

So every Sunday, I was devoting the entire day to worshiping the Father of Truth and resting.  I had returned to giving the Father of Truth one day a week as my grandfather had taught me as a child.

The Spirit of Truth also instructed me to attend a particular church in Broken Arrow.  This church supported a world famous ministry school started by the same preacher who had laid hands on me seven years earlier.

I learned how to be a better husband and father there.  I learned how to hear the Spirit of Truth even more clearly there.  I learned how to more effectively operate in the gifts of the Spirit of Truth there.  I learned many other valuable things there that have helped me fulfill my role in expanding the kingdom of the Man of Truth on this Earth.

The church there used the celebration of Easter, Halloween, and Christmas as a means to tell people about the Man of Truth.  Since I had not learned of anything better that the Father of Truth had provided to replace these holidays, I decided to do the same with my family.

Also, I began watching Christian television channels soon after I moved to Tulsa.  A show called "Jewish Voice" grabbed my attention, along with another show called "Zola Levitt Presents".  These shows told me about the Jewish roots of Christianity.  Many things in the Book of Truth now made more sense to me.

So, by the time my second daughter, the Impossible Girl, was born in 1993 AD, things were significantly different than when I had first come into the House of Truth.

I was operating more in the gifts of the Spirit, listening only to Christian music, reading the entire Book of Truth and working only six days a week.

I also went to church and rested on Sunday, no longer ate everything that moved, became aware of the connection between my faith and the Jewish people, and celebrated the holidays that I grew up in a way that was very focused on the Man of Truth.

Step 5:  Connected with the Jewish People

In 1995 AD, we learned that Savannah had cystic fibrosis and five other fatal medical conditions.  (Fatal as far as medical science was concerned, but not fatal as far as the Father of Truth was concerned.)

As far as the doctors were concerned these conditions were 100% fatal with no hope of a cure from medical science.  In fact, a research doctor asked me over the phone why Savannah was not already dead from one of her conditions.  She did not like my answer that the Man of Truth was why.

However, the Spirit of Truth told me that Savannah was going to be healed, but there would be a Jewish connection.  Needless to say, my interest in all things Jewish skyrocketed.

So, I began making a greater effort to learn about the Jewish roots of my faith.  I began engaging in instant messenger chat rooms with Rabbis in Israel to learn more about Jewish things.

During these conversations, I also told them about the identity of the Messiah.  These conversations prompted me to start teaching myself to read, write, and speak Hebrew.

The Spirit of Truth also led me to make a bold move and leave my secure job working for the college where I was vested.  (About the only way to be fired was to do something criminal.)  Instead, I was to go into the wild world of contracting.

While contracting, I met with other believers who were interested in what I had learned up to that point about the Book of Truth.  Our discussions only served to sharpen my understanding of the Book of Truth from a Jewish perspective.

Between those discussions, the Jewish television shows that I watched on Christian television, my discussions with the Rabbis and my own study of Jewish customs, I began to see the world and the Word of Truth through Jewish eyes.

All during this time, I kept having experiences like I had experienced with the barbecued bunny.   Other things that were called filth in the Law of Truth, but I had been eating anyways, became as disgusting to me as eating dog poop.  I stopped eating them one by one, until the only thing left was pork.

In fact, I got where I did not really like pork either by 1998 AD, but the bad taste could be covered up with lots of sugar and spice - especially bacon!  Also, compared to beef, it was cheap.

Finally, I got into an argument while camping with a friend over my right to eat pork.  After four hours of arguing he said, that I was probably so combative about this, because the Spirit of Truth was dealing with me about it.

When I woke up the next morning and smelled the little smokies that were cooking, I almost vomited.  To this day, the smell of pork makes me feel sick.  That was the end of my eating everything that moves.

Not long after that, I got a Sky Angel satellite system.  This gave me access to many more Christian television shows including more shows about all things Jewish and how they applied to my faith.

My wife also learned about ShalomFest and Festival Israel.  These were Jewish cultural events in Tulsa.

So we went and I was like a kid going to Disney World!  I got to sit in a demonstration synagogue service, talk to Jewish people about the Book of Truth, ask questions of the Rabbis, eat Israeli food, and buy Jewish items made in Israel!  My favorite part was a giant map of Israel that they allowed me to walk on and explain the history of Israel to other people!

In 2000 AD, the contracting market in Tulsa dried up.  I found myself unemployed in a market with no real job prospects.  I suddenly had more time to apply myself to further study of the Book of Truth and seek after the Father of Truth.

Not long after that, applying what I had learned led to me leaving that church and start searching for a new congregation.

During my search for a new congregation, I visited a few Sabbath observant congregations, but there was something not right about them that I could not put my finger on at the time.

One of the problems was, that I had three verses in the Renewed Covenant, which seemed to indicate that we were supposed to meet on Sunday instead of Saturday.  When I asked their leaders and members of these congregations to show me from the Renewed Covenant why this was wrong, they could not do so.  Their answers amounted to either their tradition or someone else said so.

Shortly after school started, my daughter Miranda came to me and told me that she was so worn out by Friday night that she could not study.  When she felt less tired on Sunday, she could not study because that was our day of rest.  So, she wanted to know if we could change our day of rest to Friday night to Saturday night.

I paused for a minute, prayed about it, the Spirit of Truth did not object, so I said yes.  Just like that, we began resting on the Sabbath.

Shortly after that, I got an unsolicited job offer and took it.  I started a Bible study in my new workplace, which only served to sharpen my understanding of the Jewish connection to my faith even more.

Shortly after that, my wife saw an advertisement for a new church that was starting up in a school cafeteria.  We went there on their very first service and immediately knew that this was our new church home.

So, by the time I had a new career, and a new church home in 2000 AD, things were very different than they had been seven years earlier.

I continued to operate in the gifts of the Spirit, read the entire Book of Truth, listen to only Christian music, work only six days a week, and only ate food that the Book of Truth calls clean.

I now rested on the Sabbath and went to church on Sunday, had became connected to the Jewish people, and still celebrated the religious holidays that I grew up in a way that was very focused on the Man of Truth.

Step 6:  Celebrated Biblical Holidays

Right from the beginning, we started applying what we had learned at the previous church to help our new church grow from the thirty-five people that were there on that first Sunday.

The pastor of the new church made a time to pray for the sick in our services.  He allowed me to lay hands on people with him and one other member.

It was evident that I was supposed to go to this church that was meeting in a school cafeteria on Sunday mornings.  Since this was the case, I decided to spend about eight hours over the Sabbath praying in tongues to be more effective when I prayed for the sick on Sunday.

This made a huge difference.  We were having frequent instant healings.  This included at least one case of cancer.  According to the man healed from cancer, it felt like fire went out of my hands and burned all the cancer out of his body.

Needless to say, our congregation grew to over seven hundred members in the first year.  We found ourselves needing a bigger venue.

Then in 2002 AD, my wife told me about a Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) celebration sponsored by a local church.  I was overwhelmed with joy to go to this.  I had read about this celebration in Israel in the Jerusalem Post, but had not expected one in Oklahoma.  This was better than a trip to Disney Land for me.

While I was there, I learned that the Man of Truth celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles (John 7:2-11).  Most surprising of all, I learned that it's not just a Jewish thing to celebrate this or any of the Feasts of Truth.  I learned that many of the Children of Truth had began celebrating these holidays.

So, I took part in my first celebration of one of the Feasts of Truth.  I still have the tee-shirt.

Not long after that, I read that the Man of Truth celebrated Chanukah in the Renewed Covenant (John 10:22-23).  So, I found how American Jews celebrate this holiday today. 

I then celebrated my first Chanukah with my first present being a town of Bethlehem display that my wife wanted to set up at Christmas.

Then in 2003 AD, my family celebrated our first Passover (Pesach) with a Jewish couple that went to our church.  We used a Hagaddah that I had made, based on research over the internet, since I did not have time to order one.

My wife had been right.  The Father of Truth did provide better holidays than the ones that I had grown up with.

Still, we continued to celebrate the religious holidays that I grew up in a way that was very focused on the Man of Truth.

So, by early 2003 AD, there was another major change in how we lived our lives.

I continued to operate in the gifts of the Spirit, read the entire Book of Truth, listen to only Christian music, work only six days a week, and only ate food that the Book of Truth calls clean.

I now rested on the Sabbath and went to church on Sunday, had became more connected to the Jewish people, celebrated the Biblical holidays using the traditions of American Jews, but also celebrated the religious holidays that I grew up in a way that was very focused on the Man of Truth.

Step 7: Committed To Walking In Truth

Later in 2003, I watched "The Gospel of John".  I was shaken to my core and could barely drive home from the theater.

I was later given this movie as a gift for my birthday.  After watching it several more times, I understood why this movie disturbed me so much.  This movie made it very plain that the Man of Truth always told the truth.

I simply was not living up to that standard, but was convicted that I needed to start doing so.  So, I started examining everything in my life to make sure that I was walking in truth.  This included what holidays we celebrated and how.

I began changing how I celebrated the Biblical holidays. 

Eating fried food every meal for all eight days of Chanukah had led to me having high cholesterol for the first time in my life.   So, I decided to make food that reflected the ethnic groups associated for some holidays.

I did this because the Book of Truth said that people were to observe Passover like they were personally there in Egypt (Exodus 13:3-8).

So, I started researching food eaten during holidays associated with ancient empires.  I began cooking Persian food for Purim, Egyptian food for Passover, and Greek food for Chanukah.

At the same time, I continued to work with our pastor in various ways to grow the church, including continuing to pray for the sick.  This continued until a tragic car accident injured the wife of the district supervisor severely.  He had to step down from his position to take care of her.

The new supervisor immediately put an end to anyone, except the pastor, laying hands on the sick.  Soon, the phenomenal growth of our congregation came to an end.

This was also the end of my trying to spend eight hours every Sabbath praying in tongues.  Instead, I used that time to study the Book of Truth more deeply.  I also continued to learn more about Jewish practices from both the Book of Truth and Jews.

Eventually, the members of our congregation began doubting that the gifts of the Spirit of Truth were in operation today, despite the notable miracles and many other healings that had happened in their midst.  It became apparent that miracles do not cure unbelief.

The root of the problem was that these healings and miracles had served as witnesses to the truth of what I was teaching about praying in tongues and the Jewish connection to Christianity.  These doctrines were directly at odds with the official doctrine of the domination of that church.

Soon, their refusal to even examine the Book of Truth to see if what I said was true, grieved the Spirit of Truth.  The gifts of the Spirit of Truth stopped operating in their midst.

Then in 2006 AD, my wife told me about a traveling exhibit called "Abraham to Jesus" that was coming to Tulsa.

Of course, we went and I got see all kinds of artifacts from Israel there, including a part of a Dead Sea Scroll.  This exhibit provided overwhelming evidence that everything that the Book of Truth said about the Jewish people was true and that the Man of Truth was definitely Jewish in every possible sense.

Then in 2007 AD, my wife told me about a musical called "The Covenant: The Story of My People". 

Of course, we went to that as well.  This musical really brought out that the Man of Truth was first and foremost the Messiah of Israel.

By this time, I was dreaming in Hebrew as well as Greek.  Sometimes both languages were combined in my dreams into a language that I called, "Grebrew".

It had gotten to the point, that Jewish people I met at Jewish events thought that I had grown up attending synagogue services and celebrating Jewish holidays.  I could see the world through their eyes.  I was completely assimilated into the Jewish people.

So, by the end of 2007 AD,  I continued to operate in the gifts of the Spirit, read the entire Book of Truth, listen to only Christian music, work only six days a week, only ate food that the Book of Truth calls clean, and was completely assimilated into the Jewish people.

I continued to rest on the Sabbath and went to church on Sunday, celebrate the Biblical holidays using the traditions of American Jews, and also celebrated the religious holidays that I grew up in a way that was very focused on the Man of Truth.

Step 8: Wrote a timeline

However, major changes came in 2008 AD.

My employer laid off everyone in my project.  I was offered another position, but it would require me to live in Washington D.C.  This was unworkable for taking care of Savannah, so I took the severance package instead.

Since I had so much time freed up, I also started working on my timeline of the Apostolic Age.  I put in order every event from Acts chapter 1 to Revelation chapter 3.

Since the dates on this timeline depended upon the date of the resurrection of the Man of Truth, I also worked out the framework for a timeline of the Gospel Age.  This covered all of the events from the birth of the Man of Truth until the time of his ascension.

During this process, I soon found that the world of first century Christianity laid out in the Renewed Covenant, was very different than the version that was taught by most religious professionals.

The first century church met in the Temple, synagogues, and the homes of congregants.

Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka the Apostle Paul) always went to the Jews first, then the Gentiles that already worshiped the Father of Truth, and then finally the rest of the Gentiles.  Paul the Jew went to Jerusalem for the Feasts of Truth (Acts 18:18-21).  Paul the Jew continued to obey the Law of Truth, and did not teach Jews to do otherwise (Acts 21:20-26).

Paul the Jew also taught the congregations that he had started, to observe things like Pesach (Passover) (1 Corinthians 5:6-8).  This was even true of mostly Gentile congregations like the Ephesians (1 Corinthians 16:8).

I also learned that the first century Christians also observed the Feasts of Truth in very different ways than the way taught by the Rabbis.  It became apparent that the Rabbis are liars. 

I had learned that the Children of Truth were to avoid the doctrine of the Rabbis (Matthew 16:6-12).  (Rabbinical  Judaism came from the Pharisees.)  We were not to call anyone other than the Man of Truth, "Rabbi" (Matthew 23:8).

So, I could finally put my finger on what was wrong with those congregations that I had visited, which met on the Sabbath.  They were rebelling against these commandments of the Man of Truth! 

It was time for a fresh look at the customs that I had learned from American Jews.  I wanted to be sure that everything I did was in line with the Book of Truth.  I started making some changes.

Shortly after that, our pastor left to be head pastor of a larger church in Florida.  I continued to go to the same church and helping the new pastor. 

Eventually, I got a job working at a start up.  This slowed down my studies, but did not end them.

Then the new pastor began to introduce some new things to our congregation, like using candles during worship and the observation of Ash Wednesday.

This bothered me as I had started seeing new problems with the holidays that I had grown up with, even though we celebrated them in a way that was very focused on the Man of Truth.

In my studies, I had learned that Father of Truth does not want the Children of Truth to worship him using the same customs that idol worshipers used (Deuteronomy 12:29-31).   However, this was exactly what we were doing when we observed the customs of Easter, Halloween, and Christmas in a way that was very focused on the Man of Truth.

Then in 2011 AD, I was at a church Bible study watching a teaching video.  When the video was over, the pastor asked us each to tell what we thought of the video, one at a time.

When it was my turn, I told him that I saw several serious problems with what was taught on the video.  I then calmly proceeded to explain the conflicts between what the video taught and what was written in the Book of Truth.

The pastor exploded in anger.  Soon, I was angry also.  So, I left.

The next day the pastor had another member ask me not to come back, if I could not go along to get along.  The pastor was not willing to examine the Book of Truth to see what I said was true.  So, I chose to not to return, rather than compromise on what the Book of Truth said.

So, I was kicked out of a church that I had helped start because I refused to not walk in truth.

Not long after that, the start up that I worked for went out of business in 2011 AD.  I was once again able to devote more time to writing my timeline.

During this process, I was researching about the connection between Christmas trees and Babylonian sun god worship.  In the process, I learned that yarmulkes were first worn by Egyptians, who had adopted the custom of rounding the corners of their heads from Babylonian sun worship.  So, my Christmas tree and my yarmulke both left my house on the same day.

At that time, I began heeding the warning of the Mensch who killed Christmas.  I would be saying "Happy Firstfruits", instead of  "Happy Easter" from now on.

Shortly after that, I got stuck when working on my timeline.  I knew that Paul the Jew needed five days for him to make the journey to his next destination.  The problem was that when he left after the weekly congregational meeting on Sunday, there was only four days for him to make the journey.

I started looking for where I had went wrong in my calculations.  Finally I got very  frustrated and cried out for the Father of Truth to help me.  Then just like he was standing behind me, I heard the Man of Truth say, "that is because they met on Saturday instead of on Sunday".

I sat there in shock.  Then I questioned out loud, "What about my three verses in the Renewed Covenant, which seemed to indicate that the Gentiles had met on Sunday instead of Saturday?".

The Spirit of Truth then guided me through each verse to show me that each of them referred to the Sabbath on Saturday, instead of Sunday.  Once I knew who changed the Sabbath, I was determined to find a congregation that met on the Sabbath - if I could find one that did not try to mix the doctrine of the Book of Truth with the doctrine of the Rabbis.

This proved to be a very frustrating experience.  I was living in the buckle of the Bible Belt, but it was really hard to find anyone else who was willing to put the Man of Truth in front of everything else.  I felt like I was drowning in a lukewarm sea.

Eventually, the Father of Truth told me to stop whining and to fight back by writing this blog.

After I had visited many congregations that met on the Sabbath, I was about ready to try to figure out something else.  However, the Spirit of Truth had me do a strange search on the internet.  The results showed where a congregation met at a residential address.

When we arrived, we found a house.  When we got out, we were directed to a small church that the owner had build behind his house.  We found our new pastor to be a Jim among men.  This was what we were looking for.

So, by 2012, about thirty years after I first came into the House of Truth, I operated in the gifts of the Spirit of Truth, read the entire Book of Truth (The Bible), listened to only Christian music, worked only six days a week, only ate food that the Book of Truth calls clean, had assimilated into the Jewish people, went to church and rested on the Sabbath, and only celebrated religious holidays like Passover, Pentecost, and the Feast of Tabernacles - without Rabbinic distort.

The conclusion of the matter:

My eight step journey took thirty years because I had to overcome a lot of opposition by religious professionals.  It would have needed many less steps and could have been done in a year, if I had found a pastor who would teach things correctly out of the Book of the Truth in the first place.

Instead, I had to learn how to read Greek and Hebrew for myself, and then spend many hours of study to find out what the Apostles of Truth actually taught.  This was the only way that I could separate the doctrine of truth from the doctrine of lies.

This is because over the centuries, religious professionals had made one small change after another, until the original doctrine and practices of Christianity became completely obscured.  This has led to the great deception that is needed to bring the Man of Lies (The Antichrist aka The Beast) into power.

Also, real change takes time.  It is not as simple as education.  There are two kinds of knowledge, and heart knowledge is usually harder to acquire than head knowledge.  My steps were ordered by the Father of Truth to bring about real change in my life (Psalm 37:23).

As important as these changes have been in making me more like the Man of Truth, I am not anymore saved because I made them.  I am saved because what he did on the cross.  My only part in becoming one of the chosen few was answering the call when he gave it.  I was saved by faith, but grew by knowledge. 

Your steps will probably not be the same as my steps, but the Spirit of Truth will lead you to where you need to be step by step, if you are willing to follow. 

So, in this new year and new decade that starts in 2020 AD, make a real commitment to follow the leading of the Spirit of Truth.  If you find yourself falling down, then pick yourself up and try again (Proverbs 24:16).  You might have to make many adjustments, but you will arrive at your destination if you do not quit.  After all, it is how you end that matters.

After all, real change usually comes step by step.

However, the first step to real change is the same for everyone - come into the House of Truth.  You do not have to make any changes before you take this step.  The important thing is that you make this first step - right where you are at right now.  After all, you have to start somewhere.

So, let today be a time to start over for you.  After all, this is a resolution that you can keep in this new year and new decade.

You will be led by the Spirit of Truth, if you come into the House of Truth (Romans 8:14).  All you need to do is to make a commitment to obey the Man of Truth in everything, because you believe that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  After that, the Father of Truth will give you both the desire and the ability to make the real changes needed to carry out His will (Philippians 2:13).  If you do not quit, then you will become more and more like the Man of Truth, step by step (Philippians 3:13-15).

Prime Time

When is the best time to make changes?

A few months back my daughter Miranda got married.  She picked a date where all of the numbers were divisible by two or five, because she likes multiples of those numbers.  My other daughter, Savannah likes multiples of three and ten.  However, whenever they asked me what I liked multiples of, I told them that I do not have a number that I like multiples of.  I like prime numbers. (Numbers that are only multiples of themselves and one.)

I like prime numbers, because they are individuals that stand alone.  All other numbers are only composites of prime numbers.  I like prime numbers so much, that I was thrilled, that she was thinking of getting married in 2017.  I knew instantly, that this was a prime number.  I also knew all of the dates in 2017, that she could select to be made up entirely of prime numbers.  There are even dates composed of only prime numbers, that when you combine all of their digits into a string, that the string is a prime number.  One of those dates would have been the optimum prime time, as far as I was concern.

I call any time, that is composed of only prime numbers, prime time.  Needless to say, that prime time does not occur very frequently.  Especially, if you take it to the point of stringing prime numbers together to create another prime number.

Of course, when most people hear of prime time, they do not think of dates, or times, that are composed of only prime numbers.  They think of the optimum time for an event, where attendance is likely to be highest, and conditions are the best for the event.  That is why, the 7 pm to 10 pm (1900 to 2200) time slot is called "Prime Time" by television broadcasters.

In like manner, people are often wanting to make changes to their life, when it is the prime time for making those changes.  They are often left waiting endlessly to make those changes, because they do not know how to determine the prime time, for making those changes.  So how can they tell, when it is prime time for making those changes?

The best way for the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) to know when prime time has arrived, is to ask the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD).  When King David asked the Father of Truth, if it was prime time to meet the invading Philistines in battle, the Father of Truth told him that it was, and King David won the victory over them (2 Samuel 5:18-21).  Yet, when the Philistines invaded a second time, the Father of Truth told King David to not meet them in battle, but to instead lay an ambush for the Philistines from the mulberry trees, and King David again won the victory over them (2 Samuel 5:22-25).  So also should the Children of Truth ask the Father of Truth, with confidence that He will answer them, for the wisdom to know, when it is the prime time for them to take action, and what action to take (James 1:5-7).

For this reason, the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) did not always do things, when others thought that he should.  For those who do not know the Father of Truth, immediately always seems like the right time to do, what needs doing (John 7:2-6).  Yet, the Man of Truth waited until it was prime time, before he did, what needed doing (John 7:7-10).

He was just doing what his Father does.  The Father of Truth did not send the Man of Truth to this Earth, until it was the prime time to do so (Galatians 4:4-5).  He will not send him back again to reign over everything, until it is prime time to do so (Ephesians 1:10).

The Man of Truth knew when it was prime time, because he had the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) living in him.  The Spirit of Truth told him, when it was prime time to prepare to confront the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan Aka The Devil), and overcome his temptations (Luke 4:1-13).  The Spirit of Truth told him, when it was prime time to announce to the world, that he was the Messiah of Israel (Luke 4:14-21).

The Children of Truth also have the Spirit of Truth living in them.  The Spirit of Truth lives in all of the Children of Truth (Romans 8:9-11).  The Spirit of Truth lives in all of the Children of Truth, so they can be heirs with the Man of Truth (Galatians 4:5-7).  The Spirit of Truth is the seal, that they will receive an inheritance, when it is prime time for them to do so (Ephesians 1:11-14).

So the Children of Truth can know what to do, and when it is prime time to do it.  They can be like the men of Issachar, who knew, when it was the prime time for Israel to make David their king (1 Chronicles 12:31-32).  The Father of Truth has plans for their lives (Jeremiah 29:11).  The Spirit of Truth will show them the plans of the Father of Truth for their lives, so that they will know when it is prime time (John 16:13-15).

The Children of Truth can position themselves to clearly hear the Spirit of Truth.  The Father of Truth has given the Spirit of Truth to the Children of Truth, so they can keep the commandments of the Man of Truth (John 14:15-21).   It is being led by the Spirit of Truth, that makes them the Children of Truth (Romans 8:14-16).  They will walk in the Spirit of Truth, by being led by the Spirit of Truth, instead of trying to keep the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law), in the power of their own flesh (Galatians 5:16-18).

The Children of Truth can keep the Law of Truth, by walking in the Spirit of Truth.  The Spirit of Truth makes it possible for the Children of Truth to walk in the commandments of the Law of Truth (Ezekiel 36:26-27).  When they walk in the Spirit of Truth, then they keep the righteousness of the Law of Truth (Romans 8:1-4).  The fruit of walking in the Spirit of Truth, will keep them from doing anything, that is contrary to the Law of Truth (Galatians 5:22-25).

The Children of Truth can do these things, if they will seek after the will of the Father of Truth.  Like Ezra, they will know when it is prime time, if they prepare their hearts to seek to carry out the commandments of the Law of Truth (Ezra 7:8-10).  If they will seek after the Father of Truth with all of their heart, then He will answer them when they pray (Jeremiah 29:12-13).  The Father of Truth will come near to them, if they will come near to Him, by resisting the Father of Lies, and submitting to His will, that He has expressed in the Book of Truth (The Bible) (James 4:7-10).

The Children of Truth can know what to do, and when it is prime time to do it, if they will not work against the Spirit of Truth.  They must not vex the Spirit of Truth, by rebelling against the commandments of the Father of Truth (Isaiah 63:8-10).  They must not resist the Spirit of Truth, by rejecting what is written in the Law of Truth, like those who crucified the Man of Truth (Acts 7:51-53).  They must not grieve the Spirit of Truth, by giving any place in their lives for anything, that is from the Father of Lies (Ephesians 4:25-30).

Lastly, the Children of Truth must take action when it is prime time to do so.  They must not wait for perfect conditions, but rather take action, because they trust the Father of Truth to give them success (Ecclesiastes 11:4-6).  They must stop making excuses for not taking action (Proverbs 26:13-16). Like Zerubbabel, the Spirit of Truth will help them to accomplish the will of the Father of Truth, no matter how large the task is, and how little they can do at the beginning (Zechariah 4:6-10).

Often people think of New Year's Day as the prime time to make changes in their lives.  They see New Year's Day as a time to start over.

For some things this is really true.  It is the start of a new year, and for things like taxes, the books are literally cleared.  People often see this as a prime time to make changes to their diet and exercise program (or start one).  It is also a prime time for starting any type of year long project, like a plan for reading through the entire Book of Truth.

Yet, they will not succeed, unless they have resolution (firmness of purpose) in doing so.  For this reason, these changes that people set out to start on New Year's Day, are called New Year's Resolutions.

There is a resolution that you can keep.  There is no need to wait for New Year's Day to smash and burn everything, that is destroying your life.

The Man of Truth died and rose again, when it was prime time for him to do so (Luke 18:31-33).  The Father of Truth sent him die and rise again at the prime time, so you could come into the House of Truth (Romans 5:6-10).

The Father of Truth may have been overlooking your ignorance, of Him raising the Man of Truth from the dead, but now is the prime time for you to come into the House of Truth (Acts 17:30-32).  It is prime time for you to put the Man of Truth in charge of your life, because you believe, that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  Today is prime time for you to come into the House of Truth (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Smash And Burn

What is the best way to put your past behind you?

Every year growing up, on December 26th, we would begin cleaning up the Christmas mess.  The final act was dragging what was left of the unfortunate cedar tree, that had been sacrificed for Christmas, out into a field near our house, and burning it.  Once that was done, then it was certain that the disruption of our lives, that had started right after Thanksgiving, was really over.  It was destroying the last remnant of Christmas, that finally brought closure.

This is often repeated on a larger scale in various cities across the world, where people pile all of their Christmas trees into a huge pyramid shaped pile, and create a bonfire to bring about closure.  In fact, the very word "bonfire" is symbolic of bringing about closure, because the word was originally "bone fire", when the bones of the dead were burned to bring about closure.

These Christmas tree bonfires came from a holiday of the religion of the Druids, to mark the midway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, called "Imbolc".  The principle Spirit of Lies (devils aka demons aka unclean spirits aka gods) worshiped on Imbolc was "Brigid", the mother of Spring, who was said to be entering labor to bring about Spring on that day.  The bonfires were set to remind people that the Sun was winning out over Winter, and that warmer days would soon be upon them.  The ceremonies of Imbolc were continued on Saint Brigid Day, as people came into the House of Truth from among the Celts.  However, this celebration of a woman, who was named after a goddess of the Druids, on the same day that their goddess had been celebrated, observed by carrying on the same traditions, that were used to celebrate that goddess, and then changing the name of that celebration from Imbolc to Saint Bridig Day, was not part of Celtic Christianity in its original form.

Eventually, people found it inconvenient, to wait until the first day of February, to burn their Christmas trees.  So they started having Christmas tree bonfires, some time within the two weeks that followed Christmas.  Some of these of Christmas tree bonfires occur on New Year's Eve, because people are not just putting last Christmas behind them, but putting the entire year behind them.  These Christmas tree bonfires on New Year's Eve, bring closure to the entire year.

In similar manner, when I first came into the House of Truth, I gathered all of my albums by artists with occultic overtones,  like "Black Sabbath", and my other paraphernalia that was associated with the Occult.  I then proceeded to smash and burn all of them.  I was putting my past behind me, and giving it no opportunity to return.  It was this policy of smash and burn, that finally brought closure.

After that, I was baptized in the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost), and began to produce the sound of power.  When this happened, I no longer wanted anything to do with secular music of any kind.  It was not about any particular style of music, that I suddenly found repulsive, but it was the contents of their lyrics.  So I gathered my secular country, southern rock, rock, heavy metal, punk, new wave, and pop records, all together, like I had done with my occultic items previously.  I also removed all of the things associated with the lifestyle, promoted by these secular artists from my home.  Then I put them all behind me, by continuing the smash and burn policy, that brings closure.

Where did this policy of smash and burn come from?  Why is a policy of smash and burn, necessary to put your past behind you?  Why does implementing this policy of smash and burn, bring closure?

The Book of Truth (The Bible) answers these questions.

The Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) smashed everything on Earth with water when He sent the flood, because the weight of the more than 2 miles (3 kilometers) of water above every city, needed to put the top of the water more than twenty feet above the tallest mountain, (the tallest mountain was probably much shorter before the Flood), would absolutely crush everything under the water (Genesis 7:18-20).  In like manner, He utterly destroyed Sodom, Gomorrah, and everything in the valley, except Zoar (because He does not take collateral damage), by smashing them with brimstone, and burning them with fire (Genesis 19:23-25).

The Father of Truth told the people of Israel, in the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law), to continue His policy of smash and burn, when they came into the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 7:5).  So Joshua smashed and burned the city of Jericho, when the people of Israel first came into the Promised Land (Joshua 6:16-24).   King Josiah obeyed the Father of Truth, when he carried out his massive smash and burn policy, that extended throughout the Promise Land, even beyond the borders of his own kingdom (2 Kings 23:3-15).

The Father of Truth promised, that He would cause everything in the Promised Land to be smashed and burned, if the people of Israel polluted the Promised Land, as the former inhabitants had done (Deuteronomy 29:23-26).  So when the people of Israel polluted the Promised Land, He sent the Babylonians, to smash and burn everything in Jerusalem, including the Temple (Jeremiah 52:12-14).

Everything that is associated with the Father of Lies, or the Spirits of Lies, is polluted, and must be destroyed (Deuteronomy 7:25-26).   Nothing associated with the Father of Lies, or the Spirits of Lies, is to be spared from destruction (Deuteronomy 13:17).  So Joshua warned the people of Israel, to not keep anything associated with the Father of Lies, or the Spirits of Lies, because possessing those things, would take away the blessing of the Father of Truth, off of the whole congregation (Joshua 6:18).  So Joshua destroyed from among the people of Israel, the one who kept something associated with the Spirits of Lies, so that the blessing of the Father of Truth, would come back on the whole congregation (Joshua 7:12-15).

So the Father of Truth smashed the Earth with water, to completely destroy everyone, who was wholly given over to carrying out the will of the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan Aka The Devil), and everything that the Father of Lies had corrupted (Genesis 6:5-7).  He smashed and burned Sodom and Gomorrah, with brimstone and fire, because of their cities had become associated, with the wicked practices that come from the Father of Lies (Genesis 18:20-23).  He commanded the people of Israel, to smash and burn everything, that had anything to do with the Father of Lies, so that the past of the Promised Land, could permanently be put behind it (Deuteronomy 12:1-3).  He commanded the people of Israel, to smash and burn any city of their own, if it was polluting the Promised Land, by performing the wicked practices, that come from the Spirits of Lies (Deuteronomy 13:12-16).  King Josiah carried out His policy of smash and burn, so that his people could no longer, carry out the will of the Father of Lies (2 Kings 23:10).  The Father of Truth even smashed and burned, everything associated with the Spirits of Lies in Egypt, when the people of Israel fled there, to escape the Babylonians (Jeremiah 43:7-13).

A policy of smash and burn brings closure, because it prevents people from being enticed, to go back to the things, that ensnared them before (Exodus 34:13-16).  Smashing everything that is infected with evil, prevents other people from being infected with that evil (Leviticus 14:43-45).  Burning everything that is so infused with evil, so that it can serve no good purpose, prevents the evil it brings, from spreading (Leviticus 13:51-57).  King Josiah destroyed everything, in a "bone fire", to bring closure, to the shameful deeds of the people of Israel, in turning against the Father of Truth (2 Kings 23:16-20).  So the Father of Truth smashed and burned Sodom and Gomorrah, as everlasting warning to people, to no longer live like they were married in Sodom, so there could be closure (Jude 1:7).

So this smash and burn policy came from the Father of Truth.  This smash and burn policy is necessary to put your past behind you, because it separates you from everything, that dragged you into your past behavior.  This smash and burn policy brings closure, because it removes every reminder of your past, so you can focus on building a better future.

The Father of Truth has placed the Spirit of Truth in the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him), so that they can carry out His policy of smash and burn (Ezekiel 11:18-20).  The Spirit of Truth writes this smash and burn policy, contained in the Law of Truth, on the hearts of the Children of Truth (Romans 8:3-5).  It is for this reason, that the Children of Truth in Ephesus, continued this policy of smash and burn, to put their past behind them, when they burned their scrolls of magic, that came from the Spirits of Lies, instead of selling them, to help the poor, or promote the spread of the Good News (Acts 19:13-20).

However, the white hot light of holiness, that comes upon people, when they are baptized in the Spirit of Truth, causes them to see, that more than just the things like idols, are from the Father of Lies, and those things, also need to be smashed and burned (Matthew 3:10-12).  They are repulsed by everything that is contrary to the Father of Truth, because they want to be holy (separated from everything that is from the Father of Lies), as He is holy (1 Peter 1:14-16).  They will smash and burn things, like their albums of secular music ("secular" literally means "of the world"), because those things glorify worldly values, that are not from the Father of Truth (1 John 2:15-17).  They smash and burn these things, so they can put their past behind them forever, and experience the closure, that only comes from being like the Man of Truth (1 John 4:16-18).

In fact, this policy of smash and burn, will be enacted on a global scale, in the near future, during the reign of the Man of Lies (The Antichrist aka The Beast), when the Father of Truth is going to smash and burn, large parts of the Earth (Revelation 8:7-12).

The Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) will continue this policy, by smashing and burning everything from the Father of Lies (Matthew 13:39-42).  He will bring this policy of smash and burn, to bear upon the entire Earth when he returns, to put its past behind it (Luke 17:26-30).  He is even going to burn everyone, who has persecuted the Children of Truth, on that day (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9).

After reigning over the Earth for a thousand years, the Father of Truth will bring about the end of all trouble, when the last generation of those, who seek to carry out the will of the Father of Lies, are smashed and burned (Revelation 20:7-9).  

Finally, the policy of smash and burn, will be enacted for a final time, on a universal scale.  The Father of Truth is going to burn up the entire universe, so that a new universe can be formed, where only the things from Him exist (2 Peter 3:11-13).  It will be the end of all tears, for the Children of Truth, because He will have finally brought them, eternal closure (Revelation 21:1-4).

The Father of Truth is patiently waiting, until the Good News has been taken to every ethnic group on Earth, before He begins this future policy of smash and burn, during the time of the Man of Lies (Matthew 24:14-16).   He has the Man of Truth waiting, to begin his part of implementing His smash and burn policy, just like He waited for Noah, to finish the Ark, before smashing everything, with the flood (1 Peter 3:20-22).  He is waiting, to begin His policy of smash and burn, as long as possible, so that as many people as possible, can come into the House of Truth (2 Peter 3:7-10).  All who did not come into the House of Truth, will be burned, as part of the final phase, of His smash and burn policy (Revelation 20:10-15). 

However, you do not need to wait even one more day, to put your past behind you, and find closure.  You can implement His smash and burn policy today, concerning everything in your own life, that is contrary to the Father of Truth.  So do not stop, at just burning your Christmas tree, and smashing everything about Christmas, like the Mensch who killed Christmas.  Also, throw your pornographic material, your drug paraphernalia, your occultic items, your secular music, and everything that is contrary to the Father of Truth, into the fire as well.  Smash and burn all of it, so that you have separated yourself, from everything that will drag you back into that lifestyle!

However, if something is not from the Father of Lies, but is only hindering you from following the Man of Truth, then it would be alright to sell, or give those things away.  For example, a young man I knew named Tommy, gave away his massive video game system, because it was sucking up all of his time, and preventing him, from spending time with the Father of Truth.  You need to distinguish, between those things that are not alright for you to have in your life, and those things that are not alright for anyone to have in their life.  So if something is weighing you down, and keeping you from running after the Man of Truth, but is not evil in itself, then you should just lay it aside, instead of destroying it (Hebrews 12:1-2).

So do not just make an empty New Year resolution, but take action to put your past behind you, so you can focus on building a better future.

You can never really put the past behind you, until you come into the House of Truth, where you will be born for a second time, into the family of the Father of Truth (John 3:3-7).  Putting your past behind you, starts with putting the Man of Truth in front of you, so that you can follow him, to learn how to do things his way, because you believe, that his Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  You can come into the House of Truth, put your past behind you, and start focusing on building a better future, because of what the Man of Truth did on this Earth (2 Corinthians 5:15-17).  The Spirit of Truth is given to everyone, who comes into the House of Truth, so they can smash and burn everything, that the Father of Lies has ensnared them with, before they were born into the family of the Father of Truth (Ephesians 3:14-16).  When you come into the House of Truth, you can renew your mind with the Word of Truth, so you can escape those patterns of behavior, that have enslave you in the past (Ephesians 4:22-24).  You put your past behind you, when you come into the House of Truth, by living differently than you did in the past (Colossians 3:6-10).

A Time To Start Over

Is there really any way for you to start over?

At the end of every year people celebrate the beginning of a new year.  They often spend the last day of the year reflecting on the year that is ending and what they would like to do better in the new year than they did in the old year.  So they make resolutions about how things are going to different once the new year begins.  For many people New Year's Day is a time to start over.

Of course, most of the time not really much changes.  They still have the same problems on January 1st that that they had on December 31st.  They are in the same relationships with same people.  They have the same job and the same pressures in the new year that acted upon them in the old year.  Their resolutions for change quickly fall to the wayside.   Their hopes for a time to start over vanish like the snow when the weather suddenly warms up.

The truth is that your life is really nothing more than an unbroken series of events that have occurred since the moment you were conceived.  Concepts like days, weeks, months and years are just convenient ways of organizing and measuring those events.  For example, someone may talk of their high school days to mean the collection of events that occurred from when they entered high school until when they graduated high school.  The changing of the number assigned to a calendar year does not really mean that is a time to start over.

Many of these events driven by choices that others have made but affect you in some manner.  For example, your parents made a choice that lead to your conception and then another that lead to your birth.  You then made other choices that drove other events that have shaped your life.  For example, you might have made a choice to go to college after high school.  Often people look at their lives and realize that these events have not shaped their life into what they wish it was like.  They get excited about the changing of the calendar year when what they really long for is a time to start over.

Is there really any way for you to start over?  Is there ever really a time to start over?

You might realize that you are among those who make resolutions each New Year's Day only to watch them be broken by the first of February.  You need to make a resolution that you can keep.  When you do then you will find there really is a time to start over.

You came alive the moment your father took action to cause your mother to conceive.  You came into the natural world the moment you were born of your mother.  The rest of your life was shaped by the events that occurred after that.  So in order for there to be a time to start over you would have to a second beginning.

The Good News is that the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) has taken action to cause you be conceived a second time by giving you the Word of Truth (James 1:18).  He has resurrected the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) so that you can have a time to start over (1 Peter 1:3-5).

The only way for you to truly have a second beginning to change the course of your life is to be born again (John 3:3).  This why the Man of Truth said that you must be born again (John 3:7).  You can only be born again from the seed that the Father of Truth uses to beget the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) in the House of Truth (1 Peter 1:23).

When you are born a second time you are born of the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) in the spirit into the House of Truth instead of being born of a woman in the flesh into the world (John 3:4-6).  When you are born a second time you become a brand new person so you will truly start over (2 Corinthians 5:17).  It does not matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile because being born again has nothing to do with the flesh (Galatians 6:15).

You will start over because you become as uncontrollable by the world and as unpredictable to the world as the wind when you are born of the Spirit of Truth (John 3:8).  You will no longer be conformed to living like everyone else because you will begin to think like Man of Truth so that you can do what is pleasing to the Father of Truth (Romans 12:2).  The Father of Truth will cause you to both desire and be able to live in His ways as you work out the details of how to live out your salvation (Philippians 2:12-13).

Of course, this will not happen at once overnight because you are starting over.   You have to grow into be able to eat the meat of the Word of Truth in same way you had grow into eating solid food after you were born in the flesh (1 Corinthians 3:1-3).  Just like you were born in the flesh as a baby and then could only drink milk until you grew up some so also will you only be able to take in what is easy to digest from the Word of Truth at first because you are also born in the spirit as a baby until you grow up into righteous living (Hebrews 5:12-14).  You will grow up into righteous living if you drink in the Word of Truth like a baby grows by drinking in milk (1 Peter 2:1-3).

When you start over in the House of Truth you will no longer be a slave to sin (John 8:31-32).  You will not be a slave to sin because the Man of Truth will set you free from sin (John 8:34-36).  You will grow in obedience to the Father of Truth until doing what is right is as natural as doing what was wrong used to be (Romans 6:15-17).  All you have to do is stay in the House of Truth.

It will be a time to start over because the Spirit of Truth will give you the ability to obey the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) from the heart (Ezekiel 36:26-27).  The Father of Truth will put the Spirit of Truth in your heart (2 Corinthians 1:21-22).  Everyone will be able to see that the Spirit of Truth is writing the epistle of the Man of Truth on your heart (2 Corinthians 3:2-3).  Since the Spirit of Truth will be in your heart you will be able call the Father of Truth your daddy (Galatians 4:6).  You will no longer find it hard to keep His commandments (1 John 5:3).  You will not find it hard to keep the Law of Truth because you will be able to join me in saying that the Law of Truth has been written on my heart.

When you start over you will not instantly have everything fixed.  You will still have the same problems as before.  You might even suffer some of the consequences from the decisions you made before you started over.  You will have the same pressures as before.

However you will be different on the inside and that will make all the difference.  You will no longer be relying on only your own will power to have the strength to change.  You will have the Spirit of Truth living on the inside.  You will be on the side of the Father of Truth.  You will the Man of Truth interceding on your behalf.

So your response to those problems, consequences and pressures will be different.  You will no longer keep making the same decisions that you made before that keep perpetuating your problems.  You will see everything differently and react differently.  This will drive different decisions that will lead to different results and ultimately to a different destination.

When you start over in the House of Truth you will have changed your destination from death to life (John 5:24).  You will know that the death of your body begins your life of forever being with the Man of Truth (2 Corinthians 5:6-8).  You will no longer be in bondage to the fear of death (Hebrews 2:14-15).  The second death will never come to those who have started over in the House of Truth (Revelation 20:6).  You will understand what I mean when I say that the moment of my last breath is the moment I become alive.

You need to understand that starting over means changes in every area of life and not everyone is going to be happy about those changes.  When you come into the House of Truth to start over some people will turn on you (Matthew 10:21-22).   You will suffer some sort of persecution from other people when you come into the House of Truth (2 Timothy 3:12).  They will think that it strange that you no longer do the same kind of things that you once did (1 Peter 4:3-5).  Yet whatever you suffer at their hands for the sake of remaining in the House of Truth will only make you more like the Man of Truth (1 Peter 4:12-14).  When you start over in the House of Truth it is so you can become like the Man of Truth in this world (1 John 4:15-17).

You come into the House of Truth to start over when you surrender control of your life to the Man of Truth because you believe that His Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).  Today is the day to come into the House of Truth because now is a time to start over (2 Corinthians 6:2).

A Resolution That You Can Keep

Would you like to make a resolution that you can keep this year?

Every New Year's Day millions of Americans make New Year's resolutions.  They resolve that something in their life is going to be different starting with this year than it was in prior years.  Many times these resolutions involve some area of their life where they would like to have more discipline than they had in the previous year.  So they make resolutions to do things like lose weight, get more exercise, save more money, spend more time with their family and less time at work, stop smoking and the like. These are among the most popular New Year's resolutions.

The problem with New Year's resolutions is that people are almost never able to keep them.  Studies show that on average people have already broken their New Year's resolutions within ten days of making them and that most New Year resolutions are completely abandoned by February first.

The reason for this is that the other changes in their lives necessary to carry out their resolutions rarely happen.  They still have the same issues to deal with on January 2 of the new year that they had on December 31 of the old year.  The calendar changing from one year to another on January 1 did not change anything significant in their lives.  They still have the same job that they had before. They still have the same friends that they had before.  They still have the same family that they had before.  They still have the problems that they had before.  They still have the same things that drive their behavior.

The fact is they often do not have the will power to change even if that was all that was needed.  When they face the same temptations they fall back into the same patterns of behavior.  Even if they push everything out of their lives that might tempt them they are still the same on the inside.  Once they find themselves in those same circumstances they end up making the same choices.  They are simply slaves that cannot free themselves no matter how much they want to be free.

Then there are all of those unexpected and unforeseeable things that prevent them from carrying out their resolutions even if they have the will power.  They get injured or fall ill so that they cannot exercise and consequently gain weight.  They are laid off through no fault of their own and no longer have money to save.  They survive a lay off (which is sometimes worse than being laid off) only to find that they are now expected to make up some of the work that was being performed by those that were laid off on top of their own work.  They suffer a calamity of some sort like an accident or serious illness that devours their money.  In other words, life happens to them.

So in short they cannot make the changes that they would like to make even if they have the will power to do so because will power alone is not enough to bring about those changes.  Everything in their life is not in their control no matter how much they wish it was so .  They are making resolutions that they cannot keep.

Would it not be better to make a resolution that you can keep instead of making one that is probably doomed to failure?

The good news is that there is a resolution that you can keep.  This resolution will bring about all kinds of changes in your life when you keep it.  When you keep this resolution then you will find that you will gain the power to keep those other resolutions.  When you keep this resolution then you will be set free from the prison that your habits have built.  When you keep this resolution then you will be able to rise above every circumstance that would otherwise prevent you from making the kinds of changes that you want in your life.

A resolution that you can keep is one that does not rely upon your will power and external circumstances to be kept.  You can keep this resolution long after other resolutions are abandoned because it deals with the root cause of those things that you want out of your life instead of just the symptoms.

A resolution that you can keep is total surrender to the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ). 

This resolution will bring about the resolution of the sin problem in your life.  All of those things that you want to change in your life are the result of only one root cause and that root cause is sin.

The first thing to understand about sin is that sin is a universal problem throughout the human race.  There is no one that has not sinned (1 Kings 8:46).  No one in the entire world is good (Psalm 14:2-3).  There is not one person that has enough understanding in their own strength to avoid sin (Romans 3:10-12).  Anyone that thinks that they have never sinned is self-deceived (1 John 1:8).

Before people can avoid sin they have to know what sin is.  People can sin without knowing that they are sinning (Numbers 15:29).  People can be so ignorant of what defines sin that it is like not knowing the difference between left and right (Jonah 4:11).

The Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) was given to Moses so that people could know what was sin (Romans 3:20).  The Law of Truth revealed the sin that had already existed before it was ever given (Romans 5:13).  Only no one knew what was sin until the Law of Truth was given (Romans 7:7).  Since the Law of Truth tells what sin is then doing anything that is contrary to what is commanded in the Law of Truth is sin (1 John 3:4).

However, knowing what is sin does not keep anyone from committing sin.  Those that have been given the Law of Truth so they could know what was sin have done no better at avoiding sin than those that did not have the Law of Truth (Romans 2:12).  The Jews are just as guilty as the Gentiles (Romans 3:9).

So the Law of Truth is not enough to keep people from sin.  The Law of Truth is holy, just and good (Romans 7:12).  The problem is that we are not (Romans 7:14-16).

We cannot be good on our own because sin lives in our bodies (Romans 7:17-18).  It is the sin that lives in our bodies which keeps us from making those changes that we want to make in our lives (Romans 7:19-21).  So no matter how much we want to change to live in line with the Law of Truth we end up breaking it anyways because we are slaves to sin (Romans 7:22-23).  We simply cannot live in line with the Law of Truth on our own strength due to the sin that lives in our bodies (Romans 8:6-8).

Even worse the sin that lives in our bodies always brings death.  Our bodies die because sin lives in them (Romans 5:12).  This why people still died before the Law of Truth was ever given to Moses (Romans 5:14).  This is why we continue in behavior that we know is self destructive and will lead us to death (Romans 7:5).  The Law of Truth was given so that we could see how terrible sin really is (Romans 7:13).

Since sin is universal, lives in our bodies and always results in death then we need someone to deliver us from our hopeless state (Romans 7:24).

The obedience to the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) by the Man of Truth has made him able to bring a resolution to our sin problem (Romans 5:19-21).  We have earned death with our actions that are the result from the sin that lives in our bodies but He has given us the gift of eternal life through the Man of Truth (Romans 6:23).

There is deliverance from slavery to sin when you submit in total surrender to the Man of Truth (Romans 7:25).  It is keeping your resolution of total surrender to the Man of Truth that sets you free from the sin that leads to death (Romans 8:1-2). 

Total surrender to the Man of Truth  is a resolution that you can keep because the Man of Truth has already done all of the heavy lifting. The Man of Truth died to pay for your sins and rose again so you could be counted as sinless (Romans 4:23-25).  When you had no ability to save yourself the Man of Truth died to resolve your sin problem (Romans 5:6).  The Man of Truth suffered the terrible brutality of the cross so you could be free from being controlled by the sin that lives in your body (1 Peter 4:1-2).

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep because the Man of Truth will live in you to make you strong enough to keep this resolution.  If you will live in the Man of Truth then He will live in you so that you can keep this resolution (John 15:4-5).  He is strong enough to enable you to keep this resolution when he is living in you (Colossians 1:27-29).  If he is living you then you can live like he did, free from the sin, in this world (1 John 4:17).

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep because of the Word of Truth will give you the ability to do so.  It is continuing to obey the Word of Truth that sets you free from the sin that lives in your body (John 8:31-32). When you live in the Man of Truth and the Word of Truth lives in you then you will be able to keep this resolution (John 15:7-8).  The Word of Truth will renew your mind so that you can keep this resolution (Romans 12:1-2).

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep because the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) will help you to keep this resolution.  The Spirit of Truth is given to everyone that makes a resolution of total surrender to the Man of Truth (John 14:15-17).  The Spirit of Truth will guide you into all truth so that you know how to keep this resolution (John 16:13).  The Spirit of Truth will give you the strength to keep your resolution because you will not be relying on your own strength (Romans 8:3-5).

This resolution that you can keep begins when you are born again as a Child of Truth.  You must born again to keep this resolution (John 3:3-5).  Those that are born again are born as a spirit to the Spirit of Truth just as they were born as a body to a human mother (John 3:6-8).  The Spirit of Truth lives in everyone that is born again, just like they carry the DNA of their mother in their bodies when they were born the first time, so that they can keep this resolution (Romans 8:9-10).  The Spirit of Truth living on the inside makes total surrender to the Man of Truth to be a resolution that you can keep (Romans 8:12-14).  The Spirit of Truth will tell you on the inside that this is a resolution that you can keep (Romans 8:15-16).  The Spirit of Truth living on the inside of you will produce outside behavior that is pleasing to the Father of Truth as naturally as apple trees produce apples (Galatians 5:22-23).

When you are born again you are born as a baby.  It is like a riddle that I had in a set of riddle cards when I was seven years old.  Question : "How many big men were born in New York City?"  Answer: "None - just little babies were born there".  You start out as a baby Child of Truth and grow up from there.  It is a process whereby you become more and more like the Man of Truth day by day. 

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep if you decide to make it because the Father of Truth will help you to keep it.  The Father of Truth has given other people that have made the same resolution to help you keep your resolution so that you can grow up to be like the Man of Truth (Ephesians 4:11-15).

Make no mistake I am not saying that you do not have to do anything and your life will get better overnight without any effort on your behalf.  This is the Father of Truth working with you to make changes in your life.  He has a part that He began when He sent the Man of Truth but you also have a part.  He sent the Man of Truth into this world so that He could work with you to keep this resolution (Matthew 1:22-23).

It is not all up to the Father of Truth.

You are the one that has to decide that you are going to obey the Man of Truth in total surrender to the best of your ability and understanding because you love him (John 15:9-11).  You are the one that has to decide that you are going to be the friend of the Man of Truth by making a resolution to submit to him in total surrender (John 15:14-15).  You are the one that has to reject what is evil and desire the Word of Truth like a baby desires milk so that you can grow up (1 Peter 2:1-3).

It is not all up to you either.

It is the Man of Truth and you working together that makes it possible for you to keep your resolution to submit to the Man of Truth in total surrender.  The Man of Truth began the process and he will finish it but it is up to you to look to him for strength as you run your leg of the race (Hebrews 12:1-3).   The Man of Truth did his part to help you overcome every obstacle when he shed his blood on the cross and you do your part when you learn to say the same thing as the Word of Truth about your situation (Revelation 12:11).  It is a partnership.

There are no circumstances that can prevent you from keeping this resolution. No one can pry you from the hand of the Father of Truth once you make this resolution (John 10:29).  There are no circumstances that can separate you from the love of the Man of Truth (Romans 8:35-37).  No one can separate you from the love of the Father of Truth (Romans 8:38-39).

What if you should slip in your resolve?  You can still keep your resolution by getting back up and keep trying again (Proverbs 24:16).  You can judge yourself and change your behavior or you will be chastised by the Father of Truth so that you will not continue to slip (1 Corinthians 11:31-32).  The Father of Truth will chastise you for your disobedience but you will still be His child (Hebrews 12:5-7).  He will chastise you so that you will learn to be like Him (Hebrews 12:8-10).

As you learn how to keep this resolution then you will learn how to avoid everything that is defined as sin in the Law of Truth (Romans 3:31).  This resolution is a long war that lasts for your entire life against everything that would lead you into sin (2 Corinthians 10:3-6).  When you keep this resolution and win this war you will become like the Man of Truth in every way (1 John 3:2).

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep. The only way to lose this war is to quit fighting.  You have all the help you need to keep this resolution but you must stay in the House of Truth to do so (Matthew 24:13).  You must not leave the House of Truth like Judas did or you will also fail to keep your resolution (Acts 1:25).  You must not leave the House of Truth or you will fall from the grace that makes it possible to keep this resolution (Galatians 5:4-5).  You must not leave the House of Truth or you will fail to receive the help that you need to keep this resolution (Hebrews 12:14-16).  It would be better to never come into the House of Truth than to leave the House of Truth (2 Peter 2:20-22).

Total surrender to the Man of Truth is a resolution that you can keep.  You make this resolution when come into the House of Truth. You come into the House of Truth when call the Man of Truth the boss of every area of your life because you believe that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).
