Sick And Twisted

Can people have good intentions despite their bad actions?

I once read about a man who had been caught in the act of attempting to murder a young woman.  When the police searched his home, they found the body parts of other women in the freezer in his basement, and the bones of more victims buried in his backyard.  There was little doubt that this man was sick and twisted.

At his trial, his mother plead with the judge to show leniency to her son.  She told the judge, that her boy was really a good boy, who was just misunderstood.  She explained to the judge, that his father had been abusive to him.  She even tried to convince the judge, that even though he had a heart of gold, his DNA made him do it.

The judge was unmoved by her persistence and sentenced her son to death, because the actions of her son were sick and twisted.

While on death row, the man explained to chaplain, how he was really a good person on the inside, and that he should not be judged by his actions.  The chaplain looked him in the eye, and told him that the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) would judge him, by his intentions, and not just his actions. 

For a moment, the man was relieved, until the chaplain began to explain to the man, that his actions were only a reflection of his intentions.  The chaplain went on to explain that he would be judged, not just for the evil that he had done, but also for the evil that he had desired to do, but was restrained from doing for various reasons.  The chaplain then explained, that the man deserved to spend eternity in the chamber of horrors for his intentions, because on the inside, he was really sicked and twisted.

At first, the man was angry, that the chaplain had said, that his sick and twisted actions came from being sicked and twisted on the inside.  Then the chaplain went on to explain that everyone, with only one exception, is born sick and twisted on the inside.  He went on to tell about how the One Good Man in all of history, died a sick and twisted death, in order to save those, who were born sick and twisted.

The chaplain told the man on death row, that everyone is really on death row, the only difference being that he knew when his time of death would come.  Then the chaplain told the man the Good News.  He told him that the Good Man was raised from the dead by the Father of Truth to justify those who surrendered control of their lives to him. 

The man on death row, finally admitted the truth that his mother had denied, and gave his life to the Man of truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ), because he believed the message of the chaplain.  When the cell door opened for the final time, and he was lead to the death chamber, he knew that for the first time in his entire life that he was no longer sick and twisted.

Now, you might think this man was an extreme case, but there many serial killers in America, who do the same kind of things that he was arrested for on a daily basis.  These serial killers murder helpless young children, by dismembering their limbs from their bodies - while they are still alive! 

As if this was not sick and twisted enough, the ones who pay them to carry out this gruesome murder, are often the parents, or grandparents, of the young children that they so brutally murder.  Those who pay for this gruesome treatment of their own children, or grandchildren, are probably more sick and twisted, than the sick and twisted people, who they pay to dismember their own offspring - while they are still alive!

All of these people involved in the dismemberment of young children - who are still alive - are more sick and twisted, than the man who killed - and then dismembered - young women.

Yet you might think, not everyone is sick and twisted enough to dismember children - while still alive - or pay someone else to do so - to their own children or grandchildren.  You may think, that those who would never even imagine having anything to do with something that is as sick and twisted as abortion, are still born with a heart, that is sick and twisted.

So was the chaplain right?  Do sick and twisted actions, come from a sick and twisted heart?  Are all people really born with a sick and twisted heart?  Would people really be better off, if they were judged by their actions, instead of their intentions?  Is total surrender to the Man of Truth, the only way to stop being sick and twisted? 

The Man of Truth says, that the actions of people show the condition of their heart, as surely as fruit identifies, the kind of tree that grows upon it (Matthew 7:16-18).  The condition of their heart is shown, by whether or not they are doing the will of his Father (Matthew 7:19-21).  Those whose heart is sick and twisted, cannot even speak what is right in the eyes of his Father, because they can only speak out, what is already in their heart (Matthew 12:33-35).  Every sick and twisted act, that anyone has ever done, is the result of a sick and twisted heart (Matthew 15:19).  So sick and twisted actions come from a sick and twisted heart (Luke 6:43-45).

People will do something that the Father of Truth calls evil, and then say things like, "Well, God knows my heart.".  Yes, the Father of Truth does, and He says that it is exceeding deceitful and wicked - in other words, sick and twisted (Jeremiah 17:9-10).

The Father of Truth almost destroyed the entire human race, because the heart of every person was sick and twisted (Genesis 6:5-7).  Even though, He later promised not to destroy the human race, He still said, that all people were born with a sick and twisted heart (Genesis 8:21).  He knows that people are all born with a sick and twisted heart, because He is the One, who can examine the human heart completely (Psalm 7:9).  He knows, that no one has to teach children how to lie, because every person is born with a heart that is sick and twisted (Psalm 58:1-3).

The Father of Truth hates a sick and twisted heart (Proverbs 6:16-18).  He finds a sick and twisted heart to be worthless (Proverbs 10:20).  A righteousness based on actions alone is never sufficient, because the real issue is that people have a sick and twisted heart (Matthew 5:20-22). 

People carry out every sick and twisted intention of their heart, when they believe that they will not have to answer to the Father of Truth for their actions (Psalm 10:13).  They have nothing restraining them from putting their sick and twisted intentions into action, when they have no fear of be judged for those actions, by the Father of Truth (Psalm 36:1). They do not consider that the Father of Truth sees, and remembers, all of their sick and twisted acts (Hosea 7:2).  That is why the men, who are responsible for the most sick and twisted actions in history, all believed the greatest fairy tale ever told.

However, unlike the man, who thought he was getting away with murdering, and dismembering young women, most people have a sense that they will be caught, if not by the Father of Truth, at least by the authorities, who He put in place to be a terror to such people (Romans 13:1-5).  So people are restrained from committing all kinds of evil, to avoid the consequences of acting on their sick and twisted intentions.  So their actions are never as bad as their intentions, because their intentions include both the sick and twist intentions that they did act on, to produce sick and twisted actions, plus the sick and twisted intentions, that they refrained from acting on, out of fear of the consequences.

So anyone who wants to be judged based on their intentions, rather than their actions, is lying to themselves about their intentions.

People do not want to be judged on their actions, because every action that is contrary to what the Father of Truth calls righteous, is an abomination to Him - in other words, sick and twisted (Deuteronomy 25:16).  There is no person, other than the Man of Truth, who has ever went without committing any sick and twisted actions (1 Kings 8:46).  No one can be judge righteous by the Father of Truth, based on their actions, because that would requiring never violating any of His commandments, at any time (Romans 10:5).  So people will not inherit His Kingdom, because of their sick and twisted actions (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).  They will end up being thrown into the Lake of Fire, when they are judged for their sick and twisted actions (Revelation 20:12-14).

Worst yet, the Father of Truth will judge them by the intentions of their sick and twisted hearts, as well as their sick and twisted actions (Jeremiah 11:20).  Adultery comes from a sick and twisted heart, so they will be convicted of adultery, based on their sick and twisted intentions (Matthew 5:27-29).  Murder comes from a sick and twisted heart, that hates people, so those who hate others, will be convicted of murder, based on their sick and twisted intentions (1 John 3:15).  The Father of Truth will expose every sick and twisted intention, hidden in the hearts of people, when He judges them (1 Corinthians 4:5).

However, there is some Good News in all this.  The Father of Truth has made away to circumcise the sick and twisted hearts of people (Deuteronomy 30:6).  He has made a way to replace a sick and twisted heart, that cannot obey Him, with a new heart, that can obey Him (Ezekiel 11:19-20).  He does this, by putting the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) in people, so they can keep His commandments, from a heart that is not sick and twisted (Ezekiel 36:26-27).  Everyone who follows after the Spirit of Truth, will not have sick and twisted actions, because they will no longer have a sick and twisted heart (Galatians 5:16-21).

For these reasons, the Man of Truth said, that people must be born again, so they can have heart that is no longer sick and twisted (John 3:3-5).  They must be born into the family of his Father a second time, in their spirit by the Spirit of Truth, just as were born into the family of their natural father, in the flesh by their mother (John 3:6-8). The Spirit of Truth gives them a new heart, that is not full of sick and twisted intentions (Romans 8:4-6).  The Spirit of Truth lives in everyone, who comes into the House of Truth, so that they can obey the Father of Truth, from a heart that is not sick and twisted (Romans 8:9-11).

The Father of Truth does all of this, through the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka The New Testament) that He made (Jeremiah 31:31-34).  This Renewed Covenant came about, because of the sick and twisted death, that the the Man of Truth experienced on the cross (Matthew 26:28).  The Man of Truth died this sick and twisted death, to make a way for many people, to no longer have a sick and twisted heart (Mark 14:24).  The Renewed Covenant, that He ratified by dying a sick and twisted death on our behalf, is so much better than the Original Covenant (Tanakh aka The Old Testament), because the Spirit of Truth writes those same laws, on our hearts so we can obey them (2 Corinthians 3:6-8).  The sick and twisted heart that people were born with, prevented them from keeping the Original Covenant, so the Renewed Covenant had to be ratified, so that they could keep those commandments, from a heart that is no longer sick and twisted (Hebrews 8:8-10).  The Renewed Covenant is able to replace a sick and twisted heart, because of the sick and twisted death, that the Man of Truth died on our behalf (Hebrews 9:14-16).

The Man of Truth is the only means, for anyone to come to the Father of Truth, so that He will circumcise their sick and twisted heart (John 14:6).  The Man of Truth died a sick and twisted death, in the place of those born with a sick and twisted heart, because he is the only means, for people to have their sick and twisted heart replaced (Acts 4:10-12).  The Spirit of Truth can only come to live in people, because the Man of Truth died a sick and twisted death, to make a way for people, to no longer have a sick and twisted heart (Romans 8:1-3).  Total surrender to the Man of Truth, is the only way for people to stop being sick and twisted (1 Corinthians 6:11).

So are you wearing a costume, to hide a heart, that is sick and twisted? If so, it is like Halloween in reverse.

Halloween is when people wear sick and twisted costumes, to show what is in their sick and twisted hearts.  They dress up as monsters, because they are not free, from the monster within, who drives them to commit sick and twisted actions.  They go through life, without ever really being alive, like the living dead.  Halloween is all about celebrating, every sick and twisted action, that comes from the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan Aka The Devil).  The Spirits of Lies (devils aka demons aka unclean spirits aka gods), who are celebrated at Halloween, are always lying to people, to get them to act on the sick and twisted intentions, of their sick and twisted hearts, to produce sick and twisted actions.  Halloween is all about being sick and twisted.

You can throw away that costume, because you will not need it, if you will come into the House of Truth.  You will not longer have a sick and twisted heart, if you submit to the Man of Truth in total surrender, because you believe that his Father, caused him to come out of the grave (Romans 10:9-11).  So when you come into the House of Truth, instead of celebrating everything that is sick and twisted, like people do at Halloween, you will be celebrating, for the first time in your life, no longer being sick and twisted (1 John 1:5-9).

The Worst Kind of Hatred

What is the worst kind of hatred?

The first thing that might pop into the minds of many people would be the hatred that Hitler and the Nazis had for the Jews.  After all, they developed and implemented a plan designed to take everything that the Jews owned, then start gathering Jewish people into concentration camps, force those Jews to perform work that made it possible to gather more Jewish people into more such camps, and then systematically start killing them off, starting with those who were the least useful in continuing the operation.  They planned on continuing this operation until every single Jew in Europe was dead and then take over the world so that they could kill every single Jew on Earth.  The hatred that the Nazis had for the Jews was undoubtedly strong.

What is the worst kind of hatred?

Yet other people would argue that there has been another form of hatred that is even greater as that of the Nazis for the Jews.  Whereas the hatred of the Nazis was active and vocal this other form of hatred is passive and silent.  Yet for many people in many places it has similar effects on their lives as the concentration camps had on the Jews.  This passive hatred leads to the young and the old dying slowly over a period of days or years from many of the same causes of death among Jews in the concentration camps such as starvation and treatable diseases.  This passive hatred allows the slavery, rape and death of young girls and boys to continue through its inaction similar to what happened to many Jews.  This passive hatred is not a hatred whereby one group goes out of its way to harm another group, like the Nazis did with the Jews, but is a hatred whereby one group goes out it way to ignore the suffering of those in another group, like many people in modernized countries do with many people in undeveloped countries.  This passive hatred is one whereby those who possess it are simply indifferent to the suffering of others.

This passive hatred of indifference finds any sacrifice to relieve the suffering of others to be too great - no matter how small of a sacrifice it really is.  This passive hatred of indifference will never give anything to help those who are suffering unless there is something in it for the giver.  This passive hatred of indifference is not spread by stirring speeches of brilliant orators but by the allure of pursuing momentary pleasure.  This passive hatred of indifference does not arise from an anger that seeks to hurt others but from a myriad of self-centered pursuits that take away the ability to help others.  This passive hatred of indifference is found among people of every religion, race and creed in the world.  More people have suffered through this passive hatred of indifference than could fit into all of the concentration camps that have ever been built.  The suffering caused by this passive hatred of indifference cannot be put to an end by military intervention like the suffering caused by the Nazis came to an end when the Allies captured their concentration camps.

This passive hatred of indifference is often fueled by the endless pursuit of bigger, better, newer stuff as explained more thoroughly in Bigger, Better, Newer.  Those who possess this passive hatred of indifference may give at times to help with the suffering of others but it is only because they believe that they will benefit in some fashion as explained in Giving To Get.

What is the worse kind of hatred?

Of course, active hatred and passive hatred often work together to create suffering for others.  The Nazis could have never carried out their program of active hate against the Jews if it were not for the passive hatred of most of the rest of Germany that allowed it.  The actual original members of the Nazi party were less than one percent of the population of Germany in the beginning but the Nazi party was able to grow to the point of taking over because most of the other ninety-nine percent of the Germans were indifferent.  The one percent of active haters were able bully the 98 percent of passive haters into co-operation. (About one percent of the population actually made efforts of resistance.)  The madness of the holocaust happened due more to the indifference of the many than the actions of the few.

In the same way, the famines, starvation and treatable diseases, which is often brought on by the military action of evil dictators, could never kill so many people if the majority of people in the world would simply make the effort to provide food and medicine to these people while destroying the evil dictators.  There would be no sex trade if the majority of people in the world would simply make the effort to destroy the sex traders and their customers from the face of the Earth.  Yet the suffering continues due to the actions of the active haters working with the indifference of the passive haters.

What is the worst kind of hatred?

Still there is another kind of passive hatred that is even worse than these other two kinds of hatreds working together.  The Book of Truth (The Bible) tells about the worst kind of hatred.

What is the worst kind of hatred?

That of not warning people to turn from their sins when you see them committing them.  Some people will tell you that love does not say anything to other people when they sin.  However, the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) says that saying nothing to other people when you see them sin is actually hating them in your heart (Leviticus 19:17)!  Those who refuse to confront others about their sin despise those people that He made (Matthew 18:10)!

It is for this reason that the Father of Truth said that if anyone did not warn the Children of Lies to turn from their sins then the blood of those who sinned would be on the hands of those who did not issue the warning (Ezekiel 3:18).  In like manner, He said that if anyone did not warn the Children of Truth (those who obey the Father of Truth because they love Him) to turn from their sins when they backslide then the blood of the backslider would be on the hands of those who did not issue the warning (Ezekiel 3:20).

It is for this reason that the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) said that whenever one of the Children of Truth see one of them backslide then they must confront the one who is sinning by themselves (Matthew 18:15).  He said that if the backslider will not listen to them by themselves then they must proceed to confront the backslider again with one or two more of the Children of Truth (Matthew 18:16).  He said that if the backslider still persists in their sinful behavior then they must be confronted in front of the entire congregation and if the sinful behavior continues then the congregation must stop treating the backslider as if they were still living in the House of Truth (Matthew 18:17).  Paul the Jew (Shaul aka Saul aka The Apostle Paul) said that this means that none of the Children of Truth must not even so much as eat with the backslider who continues their sinful behavior while calling themselves one of the Children of Truth (1 Corinthians 5:11).  This treatment of the backslider may seem harsh but love makes it necessary as explained in It Is Time For Some Tough Love.

Why is indifference towards the sin of others the worse kind of hatred?

It is the worst kind of hatred because the suffering caused by this hatred is so bad that it would be better for a person to lose parts of their body than to experience it (Matthew 18:8-9).  It is the worst kind of hatred because the suffering caused by this hatred never ends (Mark 9:47-48).  It is the worst of hatred because the suffering caused by this hatred that is way beyond anything people can experience on Earth (Luke 16:23-25).  It is the worst kind of hatred because the terrors of Hell are so much worse than anything that can happen to someone on Earth as told in more detail in Chamber of Horrors.

It is the worst kind of hatred because the Man of Truth suffered and died to prevent people for experiencing this suffering (Matthew 18:11-13).   It is the worst kind of hatred because the Father of Truth is not willing that anyone should perish (Matthew 18:14).  It is the wost kind of hatred because the eternal destiny of people is determined by rather or not anyone cares enough about them to confront them about their sin (Matthew 18:18).

It is the worst kind of hatred because the Father of Truth and the Man of Truth will help the two or three of the Children of Truth who gather together to confront the backslider so that they will repent instead of suffering (Matthew 18:19-20).  It is the worst kind of hatred because the Man of Truth commanded the Children of Truth to preach repentance from sin as part of the Good News (Luke 24:45-47).  It is the worst kind of hatred because repenting from sin to escape this terrible suffering is the foundation of the Good News that the Man of Truth taught (Hebrews 6:1-2).

It is the worst kind of hatred because it does not require money, influence, military might, power or special talents to in order to prevent this terrible suffering from ever beginning.  It is the worst kind of hatred because all that it takes to help others escape this horrible suffering is to care enough about others to speak up so that they might believe the Good News (1 Corinthians 1:21).

What hinders people from caring enough about others to confront them when they sin?

Some people will say that the Man of Truth said that no one should judge what anyone else is doing as wrong.  The truth is that he said no such thing as explained in Taken Out Of Context.  The truth is that saying nothing to someone who is putting themselves in danger of Hell by continuing in sin is worse than not warning them to leave a burning building as explained in The Burning House.  Anyone that does not warn people to repent of sin is hating them with the worst kind of hatred.

Some people have been religiously brainwashed by religious professionals into believing that there is no need to confront the Children of Truth if they return to sinful behavior because they will not suffer the consequences.  This has already been shown to be a lie and is proven so in more depth in Where Did You Get That Idea?  People must not just come into the House of Truth to be saved but they must stay there as shown in Stay In The House.  Anyone that does not warn the Children of Truth to remain in the House of Truth is hating them with the worst kind of hatred.

Some people have been told that Jews do not need to come into the House of Truth to be saved. Some people have been told that Jews cannot come into the House of Truth to be saved.  Both of these ideas are lies designed to keep Jewish people from being saved by coming into the House of Truth.  The Man of Truth first told only the Jews that they must repent of their sins to be saved (Matthew 10:5-7).  The Jews will suffer in Hell just like Gentiles unless they come into the House of Truth (Romans 2:5-11).  Any Jew who comes into the House of Truth will be saved just the Gentiles who come into the House of Truth (Romans 10:11-13).  Anyone that does not tell Jews about the Man of Truth is hating Jews with the worst kind of hatred.

Some people have been told that some people are just born gay so they will not suffer for their actions.  Some people have been told that telling homosexuals to repent of their homosexuality is hate.  Both of these ideas are lies designed to keep homosexuals from being saved by coming into the House of Truth.  We must love the homosexuals enough to tell them the truth that they were not born gay as proven in My DNA Made Me Do It.  We must tell them to repent because those who continue in homosexuality will suffer both in this life and in Hell as explained in Married In Sodom.  Anyone who does not tell the homosexual to repent of their homosexuality is hating homosexuals with the worst kind of hatred. 

What is behind these lies that keep those who claim to be part of the Children of Truth from confronting others when they sin?

The most common reason is that they are afraid is that they will be persecuted by those who are sinning.  They do not want others to accuse them of being judgmental (Genesis 19:7-9).  They surely do not want to confront others if they still need to repent of the sin that is in their own lives (Matthew 7:3-5).  They know that they will be separated from family members if they obey the Man of Truth by rebuking others for their sin (Luke 12:51-53).   They know that they will be hated like the Man of Truth was hated if they tell others that they must repent (John 7:7).  They do not confront others about sin because they love the praises of other people than more than the praise of the Father of Truth (John 12:42-43).  Since they care more about their own comfort than the eternal suffering of others they say nothing when they see others sin which is the worst kind of hatred.

The Children of Truth are those who obey the Man of Truth (John 14:15).  The Children of Truth love others enough to warn them to repent from sin because they obey the Father of Truth (1 John 5:1-3).  This is what it means to live in the House of Truth.

The Father of Truth never told you to go along to get along.  You must love other people even more than your job as explained in Are You Wearing A Costume.

You may have came into the House of Truth at some point but now find that you have been guilty of the worst kind of hatred.  You may have been paralyzed from action by the lies of others.  You may have been afraid to act before but now you understand that you must.  If you continue to deny the Man of Truth before people by ignoring his commandment to preach repentance then he will deny you before His Father (Matthew 10:32-33). 

If you have been guilty of the worst kind of hatred then you have been living in darkness (1 John 2:9-11).  If you have been guilty of the worst kind of hatred then you are no better than a murderer (1 John 3:15).  If you have been guilty of the worst kind of hatred then you really do not love the Father of Truth (1 John 4:20-21).  If you have been guilty of the worst kind of hatred then you need to repent right now.

Perhaps you have been a victim of the worst kind of hatred and no one has ever told you that you must repent of your sins to come into the House of Truth (Acts 3:19).  Perhaps no one has ever told you that you come into the House of Truth by surrendering control of your life to the Man of Truth because you believe that His Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).  Perhaps no one has ever told you that you will be made into a brand new person with new desires if you come into the House of Truth (2 Corinthians 5:17).  Perhaps no one has ever told you that you will be able to stop sinning because the Man of Truth will be living in you when you come into the House of Truth (Colossians 1:27).

What does Spring Break have to do with eating Matzah?

Every Spring thousands of college students head to the beaches to debauch themselves for a week called Spring Break.  However, that is not what Spring Break was originally made for.   Spring Break was originally made so that people could accomplish their week long cleaning called Spring Cleaning.

Spring Cleaning is a custom in many parts of America of spending a week in the Spring cleaning the entire house from top to bottom.  Spring Cleaning was introduced to America by Jewish emigrants perhaps as early as the 1600's.  Their neighbors then adopted it due to the health benefits that the Jews received from Spring Cleaning.

The Spring Cleaning of these Jewish emigrants was extreme.  They cleaned the ceiling and all of the walls from top to bottom.  The chimney was swept and the fireplace was made spotless.  They moved every single item of furniture in the house to ensure that they cleaned every possible nook and cranny.  They also made sure that they carefully swept the floor.  Every rug was taken out and beaten thoroughly.   They got down on their hands and knees to scrub every square inch of the floor.

Every cupboard was opened and all of the food removed so it could be completely cleaned.  Every dish and piece of cookware was also removed from its normal location, thoroughly cleaned and not returned until the cupboard was thoroughly cleaned.  Every item was removed from every closet so it could be completely cleaned.  Every article of clothing, whether it had been worn or not, since last time it was cleaned was again cleaned with its pockets turned inside out.  Every drawer was emptied, removed, taken outside and shaken to be sure that nothing remained in it.  Every piece of furniture was cleaned even to the point of being turned on its side to remove anything that might be on the bottom of it like a spider web.  Every item in the house anywhere else in the house was thoroughly cleaned and inspected by someone else to ensure it that nothing was missed.

They then would go outside and do the same thing even making sure that the roof was cleaned along with the walls and the foundation all the way down to the ground.  Not a window, window sill, door frame, baseboard, molding or step was missed from being gone over.  They even cleaned the attic and basement in the same way.  They were simply taking no chances of missing a single crumb anywhere in or on the house.

During each step of cleaning they would shine a bright light to be sure that not one speck had been missed anywhere inside or outside of the house.  This process of cleaning and inspecting continued for sixteen hours a day, only taking a break on the Sabbath, for the entire week.

On the evening of the last day, they would then conduct a final inspection using a candle and a feather to remove any remaining crumbs that they could find.  Anything that was found was carefully gathered and quickly burned.  They were adamant that not one speck could remain in the house when Spring Cleaning was finished.

Why did these Jewish emigrants go through such lengths for Spring Cleaning?

This extreme cleaning was to ensure that not one crumb was left anywhere because they were removing the leaven from their home.  This is what the Father of Truth (Yahoveh aka Yahweh aka God aka The Lord) commanded in the Law of Truth (Exodus 12:15-17).  This was commanded of both the circumcised children of Israel and the uncircumcised Gentiles that had joined themselves to the children of Israel (Exodus 12:18-20).

The Feast of Unleavened Bread was a memorial of how the death of the lamb had brought about freedom from slavery in Egypt for both the circumcised children of Israel and the uncircumcised Gentiles that had joined themselves to Israel (Exodus 13:6-8).   Eating unleavened bread was to be a yearly reminder to keep the Law of Truth  (Exodus 13:9-10).

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is not a Jewish holiday - it belongs to the Father of Truth (Leviticus 23:2-6).  It is the second act in The Greatest Play Ever.  It comes immediately after The Death Of The Lamb.

Removing the leaven was finished with a final inspection on the night that Passover, the day of preparation, began.  Removing the leaven was preparation for the Seder (Passover meal) because the lamb was to be consumed without leaven. When the Seder was eaten then the lamb that was slain became part of those that participated in the Seder.  The Feast of Unleavened Bread always began with consuming the lamb without leaven.  It was having the lamb without leaven on the inside that started life without leaven for a week.  After the death of the lamb all that was left to be done was to be on guard that no more leaven came into the home for the rest of the week.  Removing the leaven completely was so important because the wages of eating leaven was death (Exodus 12:19).

That being the case it is important to understand exactly what is meant by leaven and what is meant by unleavened bread.

What is leaven?

Leaven (Chametz) is anything that causes bread to rise, not just yeast.  It includes baking powder, baking soda (when a catalyst with a low PH like vinegar (or certain salts) is present so it is safer to treat it as leaven unless you are a chemist), sourdough and a number of carbonates like ammonium carbonate, potassium carbonate or sodium carbonate.  Beverages such as beer and soda pop also contain leaven so they are also not allowed in the home during the week of unleavened bread.  It takes practice, understanding and careful examination to ensure that all of the leaven has really been removed.  It is best to have someone else to assist in the examination to ensure that nothing containing leaven was missed.

What is unleavened bread?

The Hebrew word translated as "unleavened bread" is "matzah" and comes from a word that means "something sweet".  Matzah in the US is often large square crackers that contain no leaven.  Some people have all kinds of rules about what qualifies as matzah including it must not contain things like onion powder.  The Father of Truth (Yahoveh aka Yahweh aka God aka The Lord) has created the definition of matzah and no one can change it by adding additional rules or taking away from the ones that He gave with any kind of exception (Deuteronomy 4:2).  The only thing that the Law of Truth requires is that it does not contain leaven (Deuteronomy 16:3-4).  So any kind of food that is made from grains and eaten like bread that does not contain leaven would meet the definition of "matzah" including things like corn chips, rice cakes, or even brownies (if they contain no leaven).  The Children of Truth (those that obey Him because they love Him) do not find His commandments to be hard to understand or keep (1 John 5:3).

So it could be said that Spring Break comes from eating matzah.  This is ironic because the debauchery that many commit during Spring Break is the very opposite of the purpose of removing the leaven.

Removing the leaven and the Feast of Unleavened bread were only a foreshadowing of what the Man of Truth (Yah'shua aka Yeshua aka Jesus aka Mashiach aka Messiah aka Christ) would do.

He went through extreme measures to remove sin from people just like the Jews went through extreme measures to remove leaven from their homes.  He was mocked by those he came to save (Psalm 22:6-8).   The religious professionals of Israel, who loved to resort themselves in Bashan, surrounded him to mock him (Psalm 22:12-13).  He life was poured out like water on that cross where his bones were all out of joint while he suffered extreme pain and dehydration that lead to death (Psalm 22:14-15).  His hands and feet were pierced by the Gentile dogs, the Romans, so that he bled like one pinned by a lion while they casts lots for his tallit as he was removing the leaven (Psalm 22:16-18).

The Man of Truth suffered all of this because of we were all leavened with sin (Isaiah 53:4-6).  He died like an innocent lamb for our sins (Isaiah 53:7-9).  His death brought about freedom from slavery in sin (Isaiah 53:10-12).  His death was necessary for removing the leaven.

The Man of Truth is the Lamb that the Father of Truth gave to take away the sins of the world (John 1:29).  Slaying the Lamb was always His plan for the removing of the leaven (Revelation 13:8).

So the children of Truth need to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread to remember that we were delivered from the slavery of sin by the death of the Lamb.  This is what the Man of Truth commanded (Luke 22:19).  This is what Paul the Jew did with the almost exclusively Gentile church in Philippi (Acts 20:6). After all, Paul the Jew never taught people to do anything contrary to the Law of Truth and the Feast of Unleavened Bread was for uncircumcised Gentiles who joined themselves to the children of Israel (Acts 21:18-24).

This is appropriate since the uncircumcised Gentiles that have come into the House of Truth have joined themselves to those of the children of Israel who never left there (Romans 11:13-24).  The uncircumcised Gentiles that come into the House of Truth are no longer living outside of the common wealth of Israel (Ephesians 2:11-13).  They have became part of Israel that is belongs to the Father of Truth (Galatians 6:15-16).  They will be part of the holy nation of kings and priests that He promised as the destiny of Israel (1 Peter 2:9-10).

Of course, removing all the leaven from your house and keeping the Feast of Unleavened Bread is pointless unless you keep the leaven of sin out of your life.  Since the Lamb has died to remove the leaven of sin then we must remove any hint of sin that we find in our lives so that it does not spread (1 Corinthians 5:6-7).  The way to really keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread is to not let sin be in our lives (1 Corinthians 5:8).

How shall those that have had the leaven of sin removed by the death of the Lamb allow that leaven back into their lives (Romans 6:1-3)? The Children of Truth are to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread by no longer living in sin because they remember that they were freed from the slavery in sin by the death of the Lamb (1 Corinthians 6:11).  The Children of Truth are not to allow any sin in their lives because there is no sin in the Lamb (1 John 1:5-7).

The Children of Truth need to hide the Word of Truth in their heart so that there can identify any leaven that is left in their lives (Psalm 119:10-12).  They need to have their lives inspected by another, the Father of Truth, to be sure that there is no leaven was missed (Psalm 139:23-24). The Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) will shine a bright light on any leaven that is left in their lives (John 16:13).  If the Children of Truth do find that some leaven in their lives then they need to tell the Lamb about it so that he can help them remove it (1 John 1:8-10).

For you see the wages of sin is still death (Romans 6:23). Those that allow sin to return and remain in their lives after the leaven of sin has been removed will perish (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).  Sin is like leaven in that even a little will effect your entire world (Galatians 5:9).

Both the circumcised Jews and the uncircumcised Gentiles have had the leaven of sin in their lives (Romans 3:9-12).  The Father of Truth has made away for both to come into the House of Truth thru faith in the Lamb so that the Law of Truth may be established (Romans 3:29-31).  Both can come into the House of Truth by surrendering their lives to the Lamb because they believe that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead after he surrendered his life to remove the leaven of sin (Romans 10:8-10).  All that come into the House of Truth will have their leaven removed by the death of the Lamb (Romans 10:11-13).
