The Sound Of The Trumpet

What does the sound of the trumpet mean for you?

In most cultures across the world, one of the very first instruments that was developed was some sort of instrument made from animal horns.  These are often called brass instruments, because in western civilization they are often made from brass.  Yet, the section of an orchestra that contains these brass instruments is usually called the horn section.  That is because they have evolved over the centuries from instruments that were literally made from the horn of some animal.

While in western civilization horn instruments evolved to be made out of brass, instead in many other cultures they evolved to be made out other materials.

The alphorn, didgeridoo, rozhok, and lur, are all made from wood.  They were all developed in areas where either there are no animals with suitable horns for making horn instruments, or there are no animals with large enough horns to make the instrument.  In some cases, it is quite possible that these instruments were originally made from horns of animals that have become extinct.  In other cases, people brought instruments made from horn with them when they migrated to a new location, and there simply were no animals with suitable horns living there.  In either case, they were forced to make replicas of the original instruments that were made from horns, out of wood.

This is similar to what lead to metal horn instruments.  There have been many ancient horn instruments found throughout the area of the old Roman empire, and to the north and east of it, that were made out of all types of metals.  The oldest ones all look similar to instruments made out of animal horns.

Some were made of cheap metals like tin, copper, and bronze, that were easily damaged.  Others were made from stronger medals like iron and steel, but did not produce the tonal quality of copper.  Others were made of expensive metals like silver and gold that produced a good tonal quality, but were too costly to be practical.  So eventually, brass - an alloy of copper and zinc - became the standard material, because it produced a superior tonal quality like copper, it was strong like steel, and it was considerably cheaper than precious metals like silver.

Metal instruments also have the advantage of being able to be made into shapes that would be impossible to achieve with an actual animal horn.  They can also have features, like valves and keys, added that would be about impossible to do with wood.  For these reasons, the majority of horn instruments in western civilization are made from brass and are often called brass instruments.

In modern times, horn instruments have often been made from plastic as well.  These plastic instruments, like the vuvuzela, are not usually meant to be used to play songs, but rather as noise makers in sporting events and celebrations.

Yet the earliest horn instruments were not carved from wood, or forged from metal, or molded from plastic.  They were simply naturally occurring instruments like the conch shell - the exoskeleton remains of a giant sea snail.

The earliest horn instruments were made from actual animal horns that were hollowed out, like the shofar, an instrument made from a curved animal horn, usually from a ram.

The shofar has limited use as a musical instrument, because it basically only produces two notes.  One is a bass sound called a "teqiah", and the other is a treble trill called a "teruah".  The variation between these sounds entirely depends upon the blower altering the shape of their lips while blowing.  These notes are played in alternating patterns of teqiah-teruah-tequiah to form the basic unit of play.

Combinations of this basic unit of play, then form the three basic sounds, two of which are confusingly called a "Teqiah" and a "Teruah".  The third basic sound is called a "Sh'barim".

The Sh'barim consists of three basic units of play, with each basic unit of play being medium in duration, and no noticeable breaks between units of play.  The Teqiah consists of the three sets of the basic units of play being short in duration, played in rapid succession, and with a noticeable break between sets.  It is the same length in duration as the Sh'barim.  The Teruah consists of one basic unit of play being long in duration.  It is slightly longer than the Sh'barim.

Finally these three basic sounds are combined to form three series.  Each series is called after words that are formed by their acronyms.  The acronyms are formed using "SH" for Sh'barim, "T" for Teqiah and "R" for Teruah.

The first series is the TaSHRaT (Tashrat), that consists of a sequence of four basic sounds: Teqiah, Sh'barim, Teruah, Teqiah.  The second series is the TaSHaT (Tashat), that consists of a sequence of three basic sounds: Teqiah, Sh'barim, Teqiah.  The third series is the TaRaT (Tarat), that consists of a sequence of three basic sounds: Teqiah, Teruah, Teqiah, with final note being sounded as long as possible.

Everything else is just various combinations of these three series.  This is probably close to how the original horn instrument was played, before various improvements were made to produce a wider variety of notes.

So the shofar is one of the instruments that is closest to the original horn instrument, still in use today.  It is similar to the original horn instrument that evolved into brass instruments, and all other horn instruments in use today.  So the question arises, where did the original horn instrument come from?

Like most things, the best place to begin is at the beginning.

A man named Jubal (Yubal) invented music instruments that are played by plucking strings, and music instruments that are played by blowing, before the Great Flood (Genesis 4:21).  The original horn instrument was named after Jubal, the yubal, like the one that was played at Mount Sinai to announce that the Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) was ready to meet with Moses (Exodus 19:13). [In the original Hebrew text, there were no vowel markers, and the Hebrew word translated as "trumpet" is "yubal", the exact same word as the name of the man, who invented instruments that are played by blowing.]

So the original horn instrument was made from a straight animal horn like that possessed by an oryx, and had an appearance like a long straight trumpet.  This is why the word "yubal", is frequently translated as "trumpet".

In fact, an animal horn instrument that is straight, sometimes with a mouth hole on the side like a flute, instead of on the end, is called a "yubal", or "yuval".  (People sometimes mistakenly call it a shofar, but that is a curved animal horn instrument.)  However, the word "yubal" is sometimes used generically of any horn instrument, similar to the term "brass instrument".  So "yubal" can also refer to a horn instrument of any type and made of any material.

This can lead people to miss useful information when reading a translation for the original Hebrew, for the word "trumpet" may appear later in the same passage, but not be as specific as the original text.  For example, people again heard a "trumpet" on the third day when the Father of Truth arrived on Mount Sinai (Exodus 19:16).  However, a shofar was the type of yubal, that people actually heard.

This is nothing insidious on behalf of the translators.  They simply may not have been familiar enough to know what a shofar was, beyond some sort of trumpet.  It would be like translating "rose" as "flower", by someone who had never seen a rose, but only knew that it was some sort of flower.

Neither "yubal" or "shofar" are the word for an ordinary animal horn.  One is a musical horn instrument made of a straight animal horn originally, and then came to be used of any musical horn instrument made of any material.  The other one is a musical instrument made from a curved animal horn.

The ram that was caught by the horns in the thicket became a substitute of Isaac (Yitzakh) (Genesis 22:13).  These horns were not yubals or shofars.  There is a completely separate Hebrew word, "qeren", for a horn that has not been made into a musical instrument.

A yubal can also be made of metal, like the silver trumpets that were made to call the congregation in the wilderness together (Numbers 10:2).  Metal trumpets are not a shofar, and are usually not called a yubal, even though they are shaped like the original horn instrument.  Just as shofar means a yubal made from a curved animal horn, so also "chatsotserah" is a yubal made from metal that was originally straight like the original horn instrument.

So a qeren refers to an animal horn that has not been made into a musical instrument.  A yubal can refer to the original musical instrument made from a straight animal horn.  A yubal can also refer to any musical instrument that is blown like a yubal, regardless of the material used to make it.  A shofar refers to a yubal that is made from a curved animal horn.  A chatsotserah refers to a yubal made from metal.

Except for the conch shell, all brass instruments, or musical horns, came from variations of one of these three instruments.

What really sets apart a shofar from a chatsotserah is what each one is used for.  This can be determined by examining the passages where each one produces the sound of the trumpet.

The sound of the shofar announced that it was time for Moses (Moishe) to go up to meet with the Father of Truth (Exodus 19:18-20).  The sound of the shofar announced that it was time for Moses to be separated from those who did not go up to meet the Father of Truth (Exodus 20:18-21).  The sound of the shofar announced that presence of the Father of Truth had arrived (2 Samuel 6:15).

The sound of the shofar announced that it was time to show people their sins against the Father of Truth (Isaiah 58:1).  The sound of the shofar announced that was time for people to fast and repent of their sins, so the Father of Truth could show them His mercy (Joel 2:15-18).

The sound of the shofar announced that the day of alarming had arrived (Psalm 81:3-4)!  

The sound of the shofar announced that the time of liberty had come for those whose sins had been atoned for (Leviticus 25:8-10).  The sound of the shofar announced that deliverance was coming for those who obeyed the Father of Truth (Judges 6:34-36).  The sound of the shofar announced that the Father of Truth would come to defend those who carry out His work (Nehemiah 4:18-20).  The sound of the shofar announced that the Father of Truth will come to save His people (Zechariah 9:14-16).

The sound of the shofar announced that it was time for the wicked to be destroyed (Joshua 6:4-21).  The sound of the shofar announced that it was time for the enemies of the Father of Truth to be subdued (Judges 3:27-30).  The sound of the shofar announced that destruction was coming to the enemies of the Father of Truth (Judges 7:16-22).  The sound of the shofar announced that destruction was coming for those who refused to obey the Father of Truth (Jeremiah 6:16-19).  The sound of the shofar announced that destruction was coming for those who refused keep His covenant (Hosea 8:1).  The sound of the shofar announced that the destruction of the wicked was certain (Amos 2:1-3).  The sound of the shofar announced that the Father of Truth would pour out His wrath upon His enemies (Zephaniah 1:15-18).

The sound of the shofar announced that it was time to gather for war (1 Samuel 13:3-5).  The sound of the shofar announced that it was time to prepare for war (Jeremiah 4:5).  The sound of the shofar announced that armies were gathering to wage war (Jeremiah 51:27-29).  The sound of the shofar announced that the war was on the way (Ezekiel 33:3-6).

The sound of the shofar announced that the war had begun (Job 39:24-25).  The sound of the shofar announced that the war was being fought (Jeremiah 4:19-21).  The sound of the shofar announced that there was no escaping from the war (Jeremiah 6:1).  The sound of the shofar announced that the war was in the land (Jeremiah 42:14).  The sound of the shofar announced that the war was bringing great destruction (Joel 2:1-3).  The sound of the shofar announced that the city was filled with the fear of war (Amos 3:6).

The sound of the shofar announced that the war was over (2 Samuel 2:26-28).  The sound of the shofar announced that the rebellion was over (2 Samuel 18:14-16).  The sound of the shofar announced that the destruction had ended, because the deceiver had been destroyed (2 Samuel 20:20-22).

The sound of the shofar announced that it was time for a new king to reign (2 Samuel 15:10).  The sound of the shofar announced that the reign of the old king was over (2 Samuel 20:1-2).  The sound of the shofar announced that the reign of the son of David had begun (1 Kings 1:33-43).  The sound of the shofar announced that the reign of the king chosen by the Father of Truth had begun (2 Kings 9:11-13).

The sound of the shofar announced that the Father of Truth is coming to rule over all nations (Psalm 47:5-8).  The sound of the shofar announced that the even the most fearsome of nations will pay tribute to the Father of Truth (Isaiah 18:3-7).  The sound of the shofar announced the the Father of Truth will finish gathering the descendants of Israel back to the land of Israel (Isaiah 27:12-13).

The sound of the shofar announced that the Father of Truth is being praised for His power, might, and greatness (Psalm 150:1-3)!

So the shofar is about The King who leads people in obeying the Father of Truth, and destroys the wicked off the face of the Earth.

What about the chatsotserah? 

It depended upon rather the chatsotserah was being blown to produce the teqiah - the bass sound, or the teruah - the treble trill. The chatsotserah was used to make two sounds with two different purposes.  Sometimes the exact sound is not not important, so it is not specified.

The first word is "taqa", which means, "to bring one thing against another with force", whether to cause damage like a strong wind coming against an object, or to bring two objects together like clapping hands, or bringing a hammer against a tent peg to drive it into the ground.  When used in reference to a chatsotserah, or a shofar, or a yubal, it means the bass sound that comes from forcing air through the mouth piece that is called the teqiah.

The second the word is "teruah", which means "to make a sound to get attention", whether to signal an event like the sound of a bell at school to let the students know that it is time to change classes, or an alarm that signals an emergency like the sound of the siren of a fire truck.  It can be any kind of sound to get attention, including shouting, but when used in reference to a chatsotserah, or a shofar, or a yubal, it means the treble trill that is called the teruah.

There is also a third word, "chatsar", which means to sound a chatsotserah, without specifying what sound is made.

The bass sound of the chatsotserah announced that it was time for the congregation to meet together before the Father of Truth with the priests (Numbers 10:2-7).  The bass sound of the chatsotserah announced that the priests of the Father of Truth were carrying out His instructions (Numbers 10:8).  The bass sound of the chatsotserah announced that sacrifices were being made to the Father of Truth by the priests (Numbers 10:10).


The bass sound of the chatsotserah announced that the people accepted the king who the priest had anointed (2 Kings 11:12-14).  The bass sound of the chatsotserah announced that the people would no longer accept a ruler who the priest had not anointed (2 Chronicles 23:13-16).

The treble sound of the chatsotserah announced that it was time for the congregation to start moving (Numbers 10:2-6).

The treble sound of the chatsotserah announced that the Father of Truth was moving to bring salvation in the midst of the war (Numbers 10:9).  The treble sound of the chatsotserah announced that the priests of the Father of Truth were also fighting in the war, for it was spiritual as well as physical (Numbers 31:6).  The treble sound of the chatsotserah announced, that the Father of Truth was bringing the deliverance that the priests had asked for (2 Chronicles 13:12-15).

The sound of the chatsotserah announced that the Ark of the Covenant was returning, so the priests could fully carry out their duties (1 Chronicles 13:6-8).  The sound of the chatsotserah announced that the priests were ensuring that the Ark of the Covenant was being handled correctly (1 Chronicles 15:24-26).  The sound of the chatsotserah announced that the priests could fully carry out their duties, after the Ark of the Covenant had been put in its place (1 Chronicles 16:1-6).  The sound of the chatsotserah announced that the priests had resumed fully carrying out their duties, after the Ark of the Covenant had returned (1 Chronicles 16:39-42).

The sound of the chatsotserah announced that priests could begin fully carrying out their duties in the Temple (2 Chronicles 5:11-14).  The sound of the chatsotserah announced that priests had given an acceptable sacrifice in the Temple (2 Chronicles 7:1-6).

The sound of the chatsotserah announced that there was rejoicing in the Temple, because of the deliverance that came from the Father of Truth (2 Chronicles 20:27-29).

The sound of the chatsotserah announced that the duties of the priests were being fully carried out in the Temple once more (2 Kings 12:9-14).  The sound of the chatsotserah announced that the priests were making sacrifices in the Temple once again (2 Chronicles 29:22-28).

The sound of the chatsotserah announced that the priests could once again serve in the Temple (Ezra 3:9-11).  The sound of the chatsotserah announced that the priests had been restored to their rightful place in the Temple (Nehemiah 12:35-47).

So the chatsotserah is about the priest who leads people in worshiping the Father of Truth, and calls on the Father of Truth to deliver the people.

However, something else even greater occurs, when the shofar and the chatsotserah are both sounded together.  This can be seen by examining the passages where this occurs.

The sound of the shofar and the chatsotserah announced that the king was dressed as a priest and leading the people in worship (1 Chronicles 15:27-29).  The sound of the shofar and the chatsotserah announced that the king had caused people to return to the worship led by the priests in the Temple (2 Chronicles 15:12-18).  The sound of the shofar and the chatsotserah announced that the Father of Truth is the King who the priests led people into worshiping (Psalm 98:4-6).  The sound of the shofar and the chatsotserah announced, that the Father of Truth would destroy both the priest and the king who rebelled against Him (Hosea 5:1-8).

So the will of the Father of Truth is brought to completion when the shofar and the chatsotserah are blown together, because it announces that the king and the priest are united together as one, in leading people to obey the Father of Truth and to worship the Father of Truth.

There is only one word for trumpet in the Renewed Covenant and that is "salpigks".  There is only one word for the sound of the trumpet and that is "salpizo".

This is no accident. 

This did not start with the Renewed Covenant, but rather with the Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Original Covenant (Tanakh aka The Old Testament).  In the Septuagint, the Hebrew word "yubal" is translated as "salpigks".  In the Septuagint, the Hebrew word "shofar" is translated as "salpigks".  In the Septuagint, the Hebrew word "chatsotserah" is translated as "salpigks".

So why is the shofar and the chatsotserah treated as the same in the Renewed Covenant?

It is because the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ) is both the King and the Priest of the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him).  They are not listening for only the sound of the shofar to signify that he is coming as the King who will lead the world into obeying the Father of Truth.  They are not listening for only the sound of the chatsotserah to signify that he is coming as the Priest who will lead the world into worshiping the Father of Truth.  They are listening for the sound of the trumpet, without distinction, to signify that their priest is coming to reign as their king.

The sound of the trumpet will announce that the Man of Truth has delivered them from death (1 Corinthians 15:51-54).  The sound of the trumpet will announce that they are in the presence of their Priest and King (Revelation 1:10-18).  The sound of the trumpet will announce that the Man of Truth has brought them up to be with him (Revelation 4:1-3).

The sound of the trumpet will announce that the Man of Truth is bringing about one of seven phases of the destruction of the wicked, each time that the trumpet is sounded (Revelation 8:1-6).  The sound of the trumpet will announce that the Man of Truth is bringing to pass everything, which the Father of Truth spoke about through the Prophets of Truth (Revelation 10:7).  The sound of the trumpet will announce that the Man of Truth has returned to the Earth with the Children of Truth to lead the entire world into obedience to the Father of Truth, and into worship of the Father of Truth (Revelation 11:15-18)!

The sound of the trumpet will announce that the Man of Truth is bringing about the final gathering of the descendants of Israel into the land of Israel (Matthew 24:29-31).

This was all foretold by the Feast of Trumpets, the fourth act of the Greatest Play Ever. 

The term "Shofarim" is totally contrary to the actual commandment about keeping this Feast of Truth.  The commandment does not specify to use a shofar or a chatsotserah, because neither one is adequate alone.  People are simply told to sound the alarm, because both the King who will deliver them, and the Priest who will bring about their deliverance, is coming.  The sound of the trumpet, without distinction, is commanded, because it is announcing the arrival of the Man of Truth as both their King and Priest!

It is right for the Children of Truth to sound both the shofar and the chatsotserah to announce the arrival of their King and Priest!

They have the right to sound both, because they have also been chosen to be priests and kings (1 Peter 2:9)!  Their Priest and King has made them into priests and kings (Revelation 1:5-7)!  They will act as priests and kings when the Man of Truth returns to this Earth (Revelation 5:9-13)!

Just as many Gentiles have been grafted as wild branches into the olive tree that is the kingdom of the Man of Truth producing a greater diversity than previously existed when there were only Jews, so also a greater diversity is appropriate for sounding the alarm that their King and Priest is coming (Romans 11:13-25).

So the Children of Truth are not limited to only the shofar or the chatsotserah, but the many wild variations that came from these instruments, and the yubal, when they sound the alarm to let the world know in the context of their own culture that their Priest and King is coming!

Let them sound the alarm with their trombones, coronets, vuvuzelas, alphorns, didgeridoos, rozhoks, lurs, french horns, and every other form of trumpet!  Let them have the loudest and wildest celebration with horns that the world has ever heard! 

They are celebrating something greater than the greatest victory in sports!  They are celebrating the day that their Priest and King will set into motion everything that will make them to reign with him as priests and kings!  Let the sound of their trumpets proclaim everything that will begin with the sound of the trumpet!

Of course, the sound of the trumpet only heralds good things for those, who have come into the House of Truth.  For everyone else, the sound of the trumpet is the sound of destruction.  The sound of the trumpet heralds destruction that is so terrible, that no one on Earth would be left alive if it was not cut short, so the Children of Truth would have someone to be priests and kings over (Matthew 24:22).

It is not too late to join the winning side, and join in the celebration! 

You can come into House of Truth right now, by making the Man of Truth your King who leads you into obedience to the Father of Truth, because you believe, that his Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).  When you come into the House of Truth the Man of Truth will become your Priest, who leads you into worship of the Father of Truth (Hebrews 4:14-16).  When you come into the House of Truth, then you will be glad to hear the sound of the trumpet!

The Day of Alarming

Are you ready for the Day of Alarming?

When I was a kid I watched a lot of western movies and television shows.  Occasionally, a group of people would get into some sort of desperate situation where someone else was trying to kill them.  Sometimes it was a tribe of Native Americans on the warpath and sometimes it was a band of outlaws.  So they would take some sort of defensive action like circling their wagons or holing up in a cabin.  Then they would try to fight off the hostile forces as best they could even though they knew that they were badly outnumbered and had no chance of winning.

Eventually, they would run out of ammunition or something like that.  Then just when all hope was gone they would hear the sound of a bugle playing short notes in rapid succession in the distance and they knew that they were going to be saved.  Those attacking them would also hear that same sound and would ride off towards the hills as fast as they could because they knew that were going to be overwhelmed by an invincible force.  That bugle being played in rapid succession was the sound that announced that the cavalry was on its way.  To those under attack it was the sound of rescue but to those who were attacking it was the sound of certain defeat.

The bugle is a small keyless trumpet.  What gave hope to the hopeless and put fear in their tormentors was the alarm being sounded by those coming to rescue their people.  For both groups the alarming of the trumpet signified the soon coming arrival of the cavalry.

This was pattern was first set in the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law).

The Father of Truth (YHVH aka God aka THE LORD) gave the Children of Truth (those who obey The Father of Truth because they love Him) instructions for assembling on the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah aka Shofarim) which is literally "the Day of Alarming" in Hebrew (Leviticus 23:23-25).  He then gave some more instructions concerning sacrifices on the Feast of Trumpets (Numbers 29:1-6).  Now it has been observed that none of the words for trumpet actually appear in the Hebrew of these two passages.  In fact, these words were added by the translators for clarity.  Yet an alarm was often raised by a person shouting instead of using a trumpet of some sort.  So why is do people call it the Feast of Trumpets instead of the Day of Alarming?

For one thing, the Day of Alarming always falls on the day of the new moon and is one of the Feasts of Truth.  The silver trumpets are always to be sounded with a blast over the sacrifices on these days (Numbers 10:10).  It is worth noting that these silver trumpets were chatsotserah instead of regular shofars (Numbers 10:2).  A chatsotserah was a long, straight, metal trumpet like those used in medieval movies to announce the arrival of a king with three medium blasts while banners hung from them.  Josephus plainly states this and it is confirmed on the arch of Titus where it shows the Temple implements being paraded.  So the Day of Alarming was originally done with long, straight, silver trumpets instead of the curved shofar made from the horns of a ram.

However, shofars are also spoken of being blasted on these days in the Psalms (Psalm 81:3-4).  So either these long, straight, silver trumpets were considered to be a kind of shofar or shofars were used in conjunction with the long, straight, silver trumpets on these days.  It is certain that the shofars were not used as a substitute since the long, straight, silver trumpets were in use at the Tabernacle in Shiloh, in the Tabernacle of David and in the Temple during the days of Asaph who wrote this Psalm.

So either way it is implied that the alarming is to be done with the silver trumpets at the Temple, and perhaps also with shofars, instead of shouts although it is not explicitly stated.  This is why people commonly call it "the Feast of Trumpets" instead of  "the Day of Alarming" as it is literally called in the Law of Truth.

Perhaps both types of alarming are meant.  Many people who cannot sound the alarm on a curved shofar, a straight shofar or a metal trumpet could still sound the alarm by shouting.

It is also worth noting that no where in the instructions for the Day of Alarming does it specified how many times the alarm is to be sounded or for how long.  It just says to meet together and sound the alarm. Traditionally, it is done for 100 or 101 blasts on the curved shofar to reflect the mourning of the mother of Sisera (Judges 5:28-30).  There is a supposed minimal of thirty blasts on the shofar in any case.

This is a Rabbinic tradition and is no more a commandment of the Father of Truth than the tradition of hanging ornaments on Christmas trees (Mark 7:6-8).  Each congregation can decide for itself how long to sound the alarm and whether to sound the alarm with their voices, curved shofars, straight shofars, trumpets, or any combination there of.  The only explicit requirement stated in the Law of Truth was the blasting of the long, straight, silver trumpet at the beginning of the day with the morning sacrifices, during the day with the special sacrifices for the Feast of Trumpets and at the end of the day with the evening sacrifices when the Temple was standing.  Since the Temple is not standing then we are not even required to blast these first, middle and last trumpets because we are Playing With Broken Toys.

Alarming on these long, straight, silver trumpets was supposed to be memorial to remind the Children of Truth that their Father was taking care of them (Leviticus 23:24).

It could not have been a memorial of the giving the Law of Truth at Mount Sinai as some have suggested since that happened on the Feasts of Weeks (Pentecost aka Shavuot).  More than that a single yubal (the straight shofar) was used on that day instead of two long, straight, silver trumpets (Exodus 19:13).  [The Hebrew word translated as "trumpet" here is "yubal".]   Also alarming by nine short blasts was not sounded when this occurred but rather one long continuous blast (Exodus 19:19).  The best way to understand how the Day of Alarming is a memorial is to look at the other passages where these long, straight, silver trumpets were used for alarming. 

When the first long, straight, silver trumpet sounded the alarm then part of the Children of Truth were to move to meet the Father of Truth in a new place (Numbers 10:5).  When the second trumpet sounded the alarm, then the rest of the Children of Truth would join them (Numbers 10:6).  The day that the Children of Truth left their old location to meet the Father of Truth in a new location was a day of alarming.

The alarming on the long, straight, silver trumpet also announced that the Father of Truth was coming to save His people like the cavalry (Numbers 10:9).  The day when this occurs is also a day of alarming.

There was just such a day of alarming when the Children of Truth were delivered from those who forsaken their Father when the alarming was sounded on the long, straight, silver trumpets (2 Chronicles 13:10-18).

There was another day of alarming on the long, straight, silver trumpets when the Father of Truth took revenge on the enemies of His people (Numbers 31:1-7).

All of this foreshadowed what would be done by the Man of Truth (Yeshua HaMashiach aka Jesus Christ).

The alarming like that of a trumpet was heard on the day that the Man of Truth announced that he was coming to save his people (Revelation 1:7-11).  That was another day of alarming.

The Day of Alarming, often called the Feasts of Trumpets, indeed tells of another day of alarming that will soon come upon the Earth.  When this future day of alarming comes then the alarming of the trumpet will be the sound of rescue for the Children of Truth and the sound of certain defeat for those who have attacked them.  It is all part of The Greatest Play Ever.

When the first trumpet sounds the alarm the Children of Truth that have already died will be move off of the Earth to meet with the Man of Truth at a new location in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16).  [The Greek word for trumpet here is "salpigks" which is a long, straight, metal trumpet and is the word used to translate the Hebrew word "chatsotserah" into Greek in the Septuagint.]  When the second trumpet sounds the alarm then the rest of the Children of Truth will join them (1 Corinthians 15:51-53).  The day that the Children of Truth leave their old location on this Earth to meet with the Man of Truth in a new location in the air will be a day of alarming (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17).  The Father of Truth simply does not take Collateral Damage.

During this day there will be panic on the Earth that will cause people to shout in alarm.  The Earth will be full of the sound of horns, bells, klaxons, and sirens sounding the alarm in an effort to deal with all the emergencies that occur on this day.  It will truly be the Day of Alarming.

This day of alarming with a sound like a trumpet will announce that the judgement of their enemies will soon begin after the Children of Truth have been taken up to meet the Man of Truth (Revelation 4:1).  The Great War will soon begin.

During this war seven Angels of Truth will each be given a trumpet to sound (Revelation 8:2).  Every time one of those first six trumpets sound it will be a day of alarming (Revelation 8:6-9:19).  When that seventh trumpet sounds it will be a day of alarming announcing that the Man of Truth is coming to save his people like the cavalry (Revelation 11:15).

After that there will be another day of alarming when the trumpet will sound to announce the arrival of the Man of Truth will take vengeance on the enemies of his people (Matthew 24:29-31).  He will be coming with the Children of Truth to deliver his people according to the flesh - Israel (Revelation 19:11-16).  It will be the day when everyone on Earth will begin to submit to the Man of Truth in Total Surrender.

When the trumpets sound on the Day of Alarming in the near future because the Man of Truth has came for the Children of Truth then you will want it to be the sweet sound of rescue and not the dreaded sound of certain defeat.  The only way for this to happen is to come into the House of Truth.

No one knows how long they have to come into the House of Truth before that soon future day of alarming comes just like no one can know when the Day of Alarming (Feast of Trumpets) will start due to its dependence upon the conditions of the heavens to allow the spotting of the first sliver of the new moon from the Temple (Matthew 24:36-39).  More importantly you are not guaranteed tomorrow or even the rest of today so now is the time to come into the House of Truth (2 Corinthians 6:2).

You can come into the House of Truth and surrender to the Man of Truth today because you believe that His Father raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-13).  You will surrender to him sometime in the future whether or not you come into the House of Truth (Philippians 2:9-11).  So why not come into the House of Truth where you can hear the sound of sweet rescue instead of the dreaded sound of certain defeat on the Day of Alarming?

What does the Winter Olympics have to do with the return of Jesus?

This week the XXII Winter Olympics come to a close.  The Winter Olympics were first played in 1924.  Before that figure skating and ice hockey had been part of the 1920 Summer Olympics.  These events proved popular so the need for a separate Winter Olympics was created for sports that were impossible to play in the summer like Nordic Skiing.  That is why there have been eight more Summer Olympics than Winter Olympics.

 The Summer Olympics have been going since 1896 under the auspices of the IOC (International Olympic Committee).   Before that there were various games titled as Olympics that were internal to a single country or region of a country until Evangelos Zappas, a Greek multi-millionaire, hosted the first multinational Olympics in Athens, Greece in 1859.  There were competitors from Greece and the Ottoman Empire at those games.  He then built the first modern Olympic stadium in Athens, the Panatheniac Stadium, where the multinational Olympics were again hosted in 1870 and 1875.  The first international Olympics were then held in the same stadium in 1896 after being refurbished by another Greek multi-millionaire named George Averoff.  The stadium was refurbished according to the plan of a Greek architect named Anastasios Metaxas.   The first president of the IOC was another Greek named Demetrius Vikelas.  It was changes to the format of the Olympics that the Greeks made during the intercalary (out of normal sequence) Olympics at Athens in 1912 that saved the Olympics from extinction.  This format is still used today.  Athens again hosted the 2004 Olympics in the Panatheniac Stadium after handily beating out all other competitors.  After all, the Olympics are a Greek thing.

It should be no surprise that the Greeks were so prominent in bringing the Olympics to the world. They had previous hosted the Olympics for more than a thousand years (775 BC to 394 AD) before the Olympics were outlawed by the Roman Emperor Theodosius I.  The Olympic format was imitated across the Roman Empire and even as far east outside of the Roman Empire as northern India which had been part of the former Greek Empire.  Olympic style games were even held in Caesarea in modern Israel where Herod the Great began the Olympic traditions of recognizing the top three finishers in each competition and giving out bronze, silver and gold medals to them.  The return of the Olympics is just one sign of Greece rising.

Still after being gone for a thousand years, the Olympics rose back to life.  They are not the only Greek thing that has done so.

Greek architecture has been revived in government facilities and schools across the world. Greek foods like Greek yogurt, baklava, feta cheese and gyros are now in cities everywhere today while until about twenty years ago they were mostly confined to Greece as they had been for more than a thousand years.  Greek ideas like athletic competitions and theater productions have taken center stage over the last few centuries after being banned in Europe for over a thousand years.  The studies of mathematics, science and history that the Greeks developed so rapidly have once again came into rapid development over the last few centuries after more than a thousand years of stagnation.  It seems that suddenly Greece culture is back in style.  This is more evidence of Greece rising.

Greece itself has returned as independent country. Greece had not been its own country from when the Romans finished conquering it in 27 BC until it gained its independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1832 AD.  Now, it is a pivotal member of the European Union and what happens there is at the center of world attention.  Greece simply has much more prestige and influence than its population of less than 11 million would seem to warrant.  Greek political systems like democracy have become the norm in much of the world. On the political stage we are seeing the beginnings of Greece rising.

Myths from the religion of the ancient Greeks are taught public schools in America and the world.  Heroes from ancient Greek religious myths like Hercules and Atlantis have been made into children movies.  Amazons, Titans and other ancient Greek religious figures have been the focus of everything from graphic novels (comic books) to adult movies that are marketed towards college age adults.  Greek organizations like fraternities and sororities are now found on about every college (also a Greek idea) campus in the world after being banned for more than a thousand years. All of this has contributed to a Greek world view where things like homosexuality, that the Romans and others called Greek love, and pornography are normal.  Gay marriage and the like is evidence of Greece rising.

In many churches and denominations the Jewish Man of Truth (Yah'shua aka Yeshua aka Jesus aka Mashiach aka Messiah aka Christ) has been replaced with a Greek counterfeit.  The Man of Truth that is found in the pages of the Renewed Covenant (B'rit Chadashah aka the New Testament) is nothing like this Greek counterfeit in character or morality.  The de facto major religion of many places in the United States is a religion that is based on Greek philosophies instead of the sound doctrine written in the Book of Truth (the Bible).  This shift in religion comes from Greece rising.

Greece is the only country besides Israel to ever returned into existence after disappearing into history.  Greece was lost to antiquity like Israel except a much smaller percentage of Greeks were scattered among the nations than the Jews and Greek never became a dead language like Hebrew.  Yet Greece along with its ancient ideas have returned and they just seem to get greater every year.  After Greece and it ideas were gone for over a thousand years who could have predicted Greece rising?

Actually the Father of Truth (Yahoveh aka Yahweh aka God aka The Lord) wrote about Greece rising to prominence a second time in the Book of Truth before Greece ever rose to prominence the first time.

To understand this we have to start with the beginnings of Greece that are recorded in the Book of Truth and go from there.

The best place to start is in the very beginning with who the Greeks came from.  The Greeks came from Javan, the son of Japheth, the son of Noah (Genesis 10:1-2).  The ethnic groups that the four sons of Javan started settled the isles and coastal areas of the ancient world near the other sons of Japheth - basically the islands and coasts of most of the Mediterranean Sea and the entire coast of the Black Sea (Genesis 10:3).  (In fact in modern Greece you are never more than 50 miles from the Mediterranean Sea.) Javan had four sons who started four ethnic groups that are closely related by both genetics and history - Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim (aka Chittim) and Dodanim (aka Rodanim) (1 Chronicles 1:7).

Javan is recognized universally as the originator of the Greeks.  Ionia, the coastal region in modern west central Turkey, as well as the Ionian islands to west of the mainland of modern Greece, and the Ionian Sea that sits between Greece and southern Italy are named after Javan whom the Greeks called Ion. (In transliterated Hebrew letters, Javan is "YVN". There is no Y or V in  Greek.  The Y in Hebrew can indicate an I sound just like in English.  The V can indicate an O sound.  There are no true vowels in ancient Hebrew.  So "YVN" transliterated into Greek became "Ion".)  Ion (Javan) and his nation originally settled in Ionia (literally "land of Javan") and then spread out from there. Zeus, the chief god of the ancient Greeks, was originally called Ion (Javan).  Ion and other similar language appropriate variations of Javan like Yavan are the names of the Greeks in all ancient records and even as far from away as India and China.  This is because the Greeks are often composed of the ethnic groups that came from Javan and his four sons.

The most prominent one was the oldest son named Elishah.  It is the fields of Elishah (the Elysian fields) that ancient Greeks believed that righteous would go to when they died.  The oldest rites of the ancient Greek religion are the mysteries of Elishah (the Elysian mysteries).  Elishah has many rivers and other features named for him thoughout the coastal areas of Greece stretching from the Peloponnese to Athens that were first settled by his descendants.  They then spread out from there to the rest of Greece and beyond.  In fact, the Greek word for Greece is "Ellas" - which means Elishah.

The ethnic group started by Elishah originally settled along the coast of modern northwest Turkey. They were originally refered to the Aeolis (another transliteration of Elishah) and founded the Aegeans as an offshoot.  They spread from the entire coast around the Aegean Sea, down to the Peloponnese, and up into much of the coast of the Black Sea by sailing and starting colonies.  They eventually started colonies all along the coast of southern half of Italy, the Mediterranean coast of France, Spain and northern Africa in an area that was called Magna Graecia  (Greater Greece) by the Romans.

The ethnic group started by Tarshish originally settled along the coast of modern southern central Turkey and is whom Tarsus is named after where Paul (Shaul aka Saul) was born (Acts 21:39).  (Although Cilicia is named after the Celts who came from Gomer who later took over the area.)  The people of Tarshish then sailed and colonized along the coast eventually starting another nation also called Tarshish in modern southern Spain and one called Iberia along the eastern end of the Black Sea.  The Iberians were also eventually largely displaced and relocated to Spain, Portugal and the Mediterranean coast of France causing the peninsula that contains Spain, Portugal and France to be known as the Iberian Peninsula.

The ethnic group started by Kittim (Chittim) originally settled in Cyprus off the coast of modern southern Turkey.  They too took to sea and started colonies in the eastern most region of modern Greece known as Macedonia and the coast of northwest Italy. They migrated inland more than the other descendants of Javan to eventually occupy most of non-coastal Italy, the modern country of Macedonia (which means "land of the mountain Greeks" in ancient Greek), Romania and the like.  In fact, Kittim is the name for both Cyprus and Italy in many ancient documents.

The ethnic group started by Dodanim (Rodanim) originally settled along the coast of modern southwest Turkey.  They were also known as the Doris or Dorians.  Dodanim means leaders and that is what they are.  They soon began colonizing Rhodes, the Dodanese (named after Dodanim) Islands and the other islands of the Aegean, including those south of the mainland of Greece.  They eventually settled the island of Crete where writing was first invented.  It was people that went from Pheonice, on the western tip of Crete, to the coast of modern Lebanon who were known as the Phoenicians (literally "people from Pheonice") who brought to the world the first alphabet.  They also formed the Minoan civilization which was the first link in the chain of European and Western Civilization.  They created the first style of Greek architecture known as the Doric style.  They spread from Crete to the northern Peloponnese, and modern northwest Greece.  They then spread like other sons of Javan by sailing and creating colonies to be the first people to occupy the entire coast of the Adriatic Sea.  At the same time they also were the first people to settle along the coast of southern France.  In all of these places they created towns and named rivers after Dodanim (Rodanim).

The people of Javan have had great influence upon the people of his brothers who are generally referred to as white people (1 Chronicles 1:5).  Most of the people of his brothers originally settled near his people in modern Turkey between Mount Ararat and the Mediterranean coast except for the people of Madai who went east instead.

The people of Magog, Meshech (for who Moscow is named), and Tubal (Tobolsk the ancient capital of Siberia (modern Russia east of the Ural Mountains) and the Tobol River that it sits on are both named for Tubal) later moved north and settled Russia along with many of the countries of the former Soviet Union and most of the countries that border Russia on the west. They have remained in close contact with the Greeks to this day and have always been influenced greatly by the Greeks.  Even their alphabet that was featured prominently in the opening ceremony of the 2014 Winter Olympics were created for them based on the Greek alphabet by a Greek missionary named Cyril for whom it is named after.

The people of Tiras were originally called Thiras by the Greeks and later Thrace by others.  They were noted as having golden to reddish hair and fair skin in ancient times.  They spread out to the area of Thrace (the part of modern Turkey that in the continent of Europe), then north to the area near the Baltic sea (modern Denmark) then across the Baltic Sea to modern Norway and Sweden.  This is why Denmark is considered part of Scandinavia even though it is not on the Scandinavian Peninsula.  They lost close contact with the Greeks until modern times so they were less influenced by them.

The people of Gomer spread out to the rest of Europe that was left including northern France, Britain, Ireland and Germany.  The people of Gomer were called Galatians by the ancient Greeks which literally means "milk white skin".  The Greeks have had more influence on them than any of the other people groups.  Iona, the sacred isle of the Celts in the middle of the Irish Sea, is named after Javan.

Their alphabets are based on the Latin alphabet, which was itself based on the Greek alphabet.  Their civilizations, often referred to collectively as Western Civilization, is based on Greek ideas like the arts and sciences, athletic competitions, recording history for the sake of history, and the like.  They trace the start of their civilization to the Minoan civilization.  They were the ones that were the first to begin reviving ancient Greek ideas like democracy.  They were the ones that made it possible for the modern Olympics to become a truly international event.  They were the ones that have been been the greatest assistance in Greece rising.

The people of Madai originally settled east of Mount Ararat instead of west like their brothers and included the Aryans for whom modern Iran is named after.  They settled the interior of Asia as the name of Madai (literally "middle lands") suggests.  They include the ancient Yuezhi (whose red haired, white skinned mummies have been found in China) that originally settled in north central China until they were pushed to the west by the Han Chinese. After that they formed the Kushan Empire that went from modern Kazakhstan to modern northern India.

Before the Greeks rose up the Persians rose up.  The Persian Empire was ruled by the kings of two people groups - the Persians (who came from Elam) and the Media (literally "land of Madai") (Daniel 8:20).

Greece rising first began to be revealed to Nebuchadnezzar before the Persian Empire came into existence.  The great empire that would conquer the civilized world that was represented by the brass in the statue was the bronze (similar to brass) clad warriors that came when Greece was rising the first time (Daniel 2:39).

Greece rising the first time was told to Daniel the Prophet of Truth before Greece ever overran the Persian Empire.   Greece was first as seen a leopard with four wings and four heads indicating both incredible speed and four simultaneous rulers (Daniel 7:6).  This came to pass with Alexander the Great and his four generals.

Greece is next seen as a male goat with a single large horn between his eyes that moved exceedingly fast and destroyed a two horned ram (Daniel 8:5-7).  This goat was Greece and the single large horn was Alexander the Great who overthrew the Persian Empire in just three years time (Daniel 8:21).  Alexander the Great was the mighty king of Greece that suddenly stood up against the attacking Persian Empire and took it over (Daniel 11:2-3).  This was the beginning of Greece rising the first time.

The single large horn that represented Alexander the Great was then suddenly broken and replaced by four horns that went different directions (Daniel 8:9).  When he died suddenly his empire was split into four smaller empires by his four generals, one to west that was centered in modern Greece, one to the north that was centered in modern Turkey, one to the east that was centered in modern Syria and stretched to northern modern India, and one in the south that was centered in modern Egypt (Daniel 8:22).  By the time that the 40 year long war over who was going to rule ended with this division into four smaller empires the son of Alexander the Great and all other possible heirs were all dead so that his empire did not pass to any of them (Daniel 11:4).  This was the aftermath of Greece rising the first time.

Two of those kingdoms, the one centered in Syria to the north of Jerusalem and the one centered in Egypt to the south of Jerusalem then continued to fight with each other over Israel until the Romans (Kittim aka Chittim) came (Daniel 11:5-35).  This was the end of Greece rising the first time.

The story of Greece rising the first time before the Man of Truth came to Earth the first time was told in the Book of Truth at the beginning of the Persian Empire more than one hundred years before it ever began to play out in history.  However, the story of Greece in the Book of Truth does not end there.  It tells of Greece rising a second time shortly before the Man of Truth returns to Earth the second time.

In the same statue that showed Greece rising the first time there is a foreshadowing of Greece rising a second time.  The feet of iron and clay are ten tyrants (another Greek idea) who try to work together in a democratic fashion but cannot because they are tyrants just as happened with the four generals of Alexander the Great (Daniel 2:41-43).  Greece rising a second time is shown in the vision of the he goat as well.  In the end of days a king like Alexander the Great, the Man of Lies (Antichrist aka The Beast) who is powered by the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan aka The Devil), shall arise to revive the Greek Empire (Daniel 8:23-24). This revived Greek Empire will mirror the Greek Empire that Daniel saw.  At the time of the end the Man of Lies will go forth and conquer the same area as the Greek Empire but again the country of modern Jordan will mostly escape his grasp (Daniel 11:36-44).  Just as Daniel saw a leopard that represented Greece rising the first time so also John (Yochanon) saw a beast with the body of leopard that represents Greece rising a second time in the form of another Empire that covers the same territory as the Greek Empire (Revelation 13:1-3).  The Man of Lies will issue his commands from his capital in Babylon (where Alexander the Great died) as represented by the mouth of a lion (which symbolized the Babylonian Empire in the dream with the four winged leopard).  The Man of Lies will move people into action with an absolute law based on a religion system like the Persian Empire did as represented by the feet of the bear (which symbolized the Persian Empire in the dream with the four winged leopard).  Currently, Islamic law is used to moved the people of Iran into action and it could very well be the same law that will be used to do so in the revived Greek Empire.  It will be the aftermath of Greece rising a second time.

Greece rising the second time will end with the return of the Man of Truth.  His Kingdom will be sent from Heaven by the Father of Truth to destroy this revived Greek Empire (Daniel 2:44-45).  The Man of Truth will destroy the Man of Lies without even raising his hand to do so just as Alexander the Great died from a sudden illness (Daniel 8:25).  Though the Man of Lies will set up a place for people to worship him on the Temple Mount like Antiochus Epiphanes (the ruler of the Greek mini-empire north of Jerusalem) had done no one will be able to save him from the Man of Truth (Daniel 11:45).  The people of Israel will rise up to defeat the revived Greek Empire when the Man of Truth returns (Zechariah 9:12-16)!  The Children of Truth (those who obey the Father of Truth because they love Him) will come with the Man of Truth from Heaven to bring an end to the revived Greek Empire (Revelation 19:11-21)!  It will be the final end of Greece rising a second time.

When the Man of Truth comes he will not destroy everyone who is of the people of the Empires that have came before the revived Greek Empire but only take away their ability to rule other nations by force (Daniel 7:9-14).  The Greeks and all people shall be taught how to live in peace with each other and how to worship the Father of Truth by the children of Israel (Isaiah 66:18-21).

Before the Man of Truth can return to Earth from Heaven with the Children of Truth to deliver Israel from the revived Greek Empire the Children of Truth must first be gathered to him in Heaven.  The Man of Truth will soon meet with the Children of Truth in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).  The Man of Lies who will revive the Greek Empire cannot be revealed until they are removed from the Earth (2 Thessalonians 2:6-10).

The Olympics are one of the many signs of Greece rising in preparation for the revival of the Greek Empire.  So the Winter Olympics are a sign of Greece rising which announces that the Man of Truth will soon return to meet the Children of Truth in the air.

Of course, it does not help you to know this unless you have come into the House of Truth.  Anyone can come into the House of Truth by submitting to the Man of Truth in total surrender because they believe that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:8-10).  The Man of Truth loves the Greeks as much as the Jews because He will save all that come into the House of Truth (Romans 10:11-13).

Do you really know what it takes to be saved?

When the other Allies decided to offered to negotiate with the Central Powers to end World War I, the American General Pershing was furious.  He wanted unconditional surrender - especially from Germany.  He warned, that anything less and the next generation would be back fighting Germany again.

The next generation did indeed come back and fight Germany again in World War II.  This time the Americans were able to convince their European Allies, that the unconditional surrender of Germany was the only option, to prevent the next generation from having to come back to fight Germany in World War III.  So the war did not end in Europe until Germany agreed to unconditional surrender on May 8, 1945.  This was just eight days after their leader, Adolf Hitler, had committed suicide.

Now the European Allies and Russia would be able to help the United States fight against Japan.  The United States had already beaten the Japanese back to their main islands with very little assistance and using only one third of its military.  Japan had no remaining allies, and the US naval blockade doomed it to run out of materials, that would allow it to continue to effectively wage war.   The Japanese were already defeated for all practical purposes, but they still refused to agree to unconditional surrender.

The Emperor, Hirohito, said that Japan would fight to last man, instead of accepting unconditional surrender.  This only changed, when Hirohito realized that the United States had the ability to drop an atomic bomb on Tokyo, vaporizing his entire family, after two atomic bombs were dropped on other cities, and the US decimated Tokyo with conventional bombs.

The reason the Japanese refused unconditional surrender so much longer than Germany, was because for them unconditional surrender meant the end of their entire way of life, that they had maintained for over twenty five hundred years.  Hirohito was the one hundred and twenty fourth emperor of Japan in an unbroken chain of emperors, that went back to 660 BC.  The entirety of Japanese life revolved around the Emperor, and he was revered as God in their religion.  Hirohito believed, that if Japan lost the war, then everyone in Japan would be forced to become Christians.

The Japanese had this view partially, because there had been a long held custom in the Far East, that when people were completely defeated by an enemy, then they had to give up their religion, and take up the religion of those who defeated them.  There were similar customs of the defeated party having to adopt the language, manner of dress, calendar, and virtually every other custom of the victorious party.  So the Japanese believed, that they would have to dress in American clothes, forsake the Japanese language completely, learn to speak, read and write only in English, totally replace their calendar with the Gregorian calendar, stop observing Japanese holidays, start observing different holidays, and basically learn to do everything the American way, including how they cooked their food.  The Japanese believed, that unconditional surrender meant total surrender of their old identity, and acceptance of a new identity. 

In short, total surrender meant an end of their old way of life and the beginning of a new way of life.

As it turned out, Hirohito found out that total surrender, was not what the Americans meant at all by unconditional surrender.  When Hirohito asked the American General McArthur on the USS Missouri, about the steps that the Japanese had to take to be considered to be Christians by the Americans, the answer surprised him.  McArthur told him, that the Americans did not expect the Japanese to mass convert to Christianity, and that no one could force anyone to become a Christian in any case.  McArthur told him, that no one could become a Christian, by simply observing certain holidays and keeping certain customs.  He told Hirohito, that the decision to become a Christian, was something that each individual had to make on their own.  He told Hirohito, that making this decision, would bring about the end of the entire way of life of those who made it.   Hirohito was informed, that each person must decide for themselves, to submit to total surrender of their old identity, and acceptance of a new identity, if they wanted to become a Christian.

Hirohito, however, did have to make a public announcement to the Japanese people, that he was not God.

However, a day is coming when the Great War is over, and the Final Battle has been fought, that all the Earth will submit to the Man of Truth (Yah'shua aka Yeshua aka Jesus aka Mashiach aka Messiah aka Christ) in total surrender. 

The events leading up to this total surrender are foreshadowed in The Greatest Play Ever that is put on when people observe the Feasts of the Father of Truth (Yahoveh aka Yahweh aka God aka The Lord). In the fifth act of the Greatest Play Ever, Yom Teruah (Shofarim aka The Feast of Trumpets), the Father of Truth will prevent Collateral Damage by soon calling the Children of Truth (those that obey the Father of Truth because they love Him) to gather together with the Man of Truth in the air with the sound of a shofar (trumpet) (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18).  This will occur when the last shofar (trumpet) is sounded at the end of the fifth act to signal that His wrath is ready to be poured out on the Earth (1 Corinthians 15:51-53).  In the Greatest Play Ever, He will pour out His wrath on the Earth in the Great War (The Tribulation) during the intermission known as the Days of Awe that is between the fifth and sixth acts (Revelation 6:15-17).  In the sixth act, Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement aka The Fast aka Judgment Day), He will send the Man of Truth with an army composed of the Children of Truth and the Angels of Truth to completely defeat His enemies in the Final Battle (Armageddon) bringing to completion the pouring out of His Wrath on the Earth (Revelation 19:14-16).

This sixth act of the Greatest Play Ever is all about total surrender.

The Man of Truth will not come back to the Earth to rescue the inhabitants of Jerusalem until they submit to him in total surrender (Matthew 23:37-39).

Total surrender will mean a change in religion for all of the Jews on Earth.

For more than thousand years most Jews have followed religious leaders who claim to have derived their authority from Moses (Matthew 23:2).  For this reason the Jews have largely observed to do whatever these religious leaders have told them (Matthew 23:3). These religious leaders put on a religious show and call themselves "Rabbi" (Matthew 23:5-7).  These Rabbis have kept most of their fellow Jews from seeing that the Man of Truth is the one that Moses spoke of and have driven many other Jews into atheism (Matthew 23:13).

These Rabbis have devoured the houses of widows in private while making long prayers in public (Matthew 23:14).  They have provoke the Gentile proselytes to their religion to do even worse things than they do (Matthew 23:15).  They are more concerned with getting the rituals of the Law of Truth (Torah aka The Law) right than they are with treating people right (Matthew 23:23).

These blind guides put more value on material things than on spiritual things (Matthew 23:16-18).  These blind guides are more concerned with small temporary matters than with large eternal matters (Matthew 23:24).  The blind religious leaders are more concerned with appearing clean on the outside where people can see than with being clean on the inside where the Father of Truth can see (Matthew 23:25-26).  These Rabbis may look good on the outside but they are full of death on the inside (Matthew 23:27-28).

Their religion has replaced the commandments of the Law of Truth with their own traditions (Matthew 15:4-6).  Their religion has taught people a doctrine based on their commandments instead of the Law of Truth (Matthew 15:7-9).  Their religion places the heavy burden of following their rules on the shoulders of most Jews (Matthew 23:4). 

Rabbinical Judaism will come to end when the Jews submit in total surrender to the Man of Truth.

The Jews that survive the Great War will finally submit in total surrender to the Prophet like Moses who the Father of Truth raise up and who they must listen to in order to please the Father of Truth (Deuteronomy 18:15-19). The Jews will acknowledge that the Man of Truth that was rejected by their religious leaders is the one that the Father of Truth sent to bring them salvation (Psalm 118:21-23). They will be glad and rejoice in the day that they submit to this new religion in total surrender (Psalm 118:24-26). The only one that they will call "Rabbi" in their new religion will be the Man of Truth (Matthew 23:8).

They will find that this new religion will give them the power to obey the Law of Truth by writing it on their inner most being so that they sin no more against the Father of Truth (Jeremiah 31:31-33).  This new religion will allow them dwell in the Promised Land because the Spirit of Truth (HaRuach HaQodesh aka The Holy Spirit aka The Holy Ghost) will live in them so that they will be able to keep the Law of Truth (Ezekiel 36:26-28). They will be born again and find that the commandments of their new religion are not hard to keep (1 John 5:1-3).

Total surrender will bring an end to the identity of Jews as being a scattered minority that lives among the Gentiles.  When the Jews of Jerusalem submit to the Man of Truth in total surrender then every single person of Jewish descent will be gathered by the Angels of Truth to the Promised Land from every nation on Earth so that the Diaspora that began with the Assyrians will finally come to an end (Matthew 24:29-31).

This will even include those whose identity as Jews had been hidden from them by their ancestors so that they did not even know themselves that they were Jewish (Psalm 83:3-4).  The regathering of the Jews that began in 1870 will finally be complete and the Jews will no longer be scattered across the world for their disobedience to the Father of Truth (Deuteronomy 30:4-6).  Their identity will be completely changed from that of a persecuted minority scattered among the Gentiles for not serving the Father of Truth to an exalted people that have been gathered together in their own land to serve the Father of Truth (Micah 4:6-8).

When they are regathered in total surrender they will have to learn to speak a new language, Hebrew, to serve the Man of Truth instead of the languages of those they served in the lands where they will be gathered from (Zephaniah 3:9).

In short total surrender will mean an end of their old way of life and the beginning of a new way of life.

The Jews will not be the only ones that will experience total surrender on that day.

The Gentiles that survive will also have to submit to the Man of Truth in total surrender (Revelation 19:15).  The Gentiles will be completely disarmed in total surrender so that they cannot rebel against the Man of Truth (Micah 4:1-3).

The Jewish kingdom will be exalted above every Gentile kingdom when the Gentiles submit to the Man of Truth in total surrender (Deuteronomy 26:18-19).  A Jewish kingdom will rule the Earth instead of Gentile kingdoms ruling the Earth (Daniel 2:44-45).  The times of the Gentile nations ruling Jerusalem will come to an end (Luke 21:24).

The Gentiles will also be given a new religion that affects every area of their lives when they submit to total surrender.

The same Law of Truth that the Jews will finally obey from their heart will become the law of the entire Earth (Isaiah 2:2-4).  The Gentiles will no longer keep the religions that they inherited from their fathers (Jeremiah 16:19-21).  They will come up to Jerusalem to learn how to keep the same laws as the Jews (Zechariah 8:20-22).  They will seek out the Jews to teach them how to keep the Law of Truth (Zechariah 8:23).

Their calendar and holidays will be completely changed.  They will have to come up to Jerusalem on the seventh month of the calendar established in the Law of Truth to worship the Man of Truth and to live in tents for a week (Zechariah 14:16).  Anyone that does not show up for Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles) will not get any rain for the next year (Zechariah 14:17-19).

The Gentiles will even have to learn only eat the same food as the Jews when they submit to the Man of Truth in total surrender (Leviticus 11).

In short total surrender will mean an end of their old way of life and the beginning of a new way of life.

Total surrender will not only be experienced by the whole Earth when the Man of Truth returns to complete the sixth act of the Greatest Play Ever but it will be experienced by everyone that has ever lived including the Spirits of Lies, the Angels of Lies, the Father of Lies (HaShatan aka Satan aka The Devil) and every person that has ever been born (Romans 14:11).  So voluntarily or involuntarily, now or later, everyone will submit to the Man of Truth in total surrender.

Although the day will come when everyone on Earth will submit in total surrender to the Man of Truth people can voluntarily choose total surrender to the Man of Truth now. 

If you will submit to total surrender now then you will inherit eternal life but if you wait until you are force into total surrender later then you will suffer eternal punishment (John 12:25).  Those that suffer as a result of total surrender now will reign with the Man of Truth forever but those that refuse to suffer as a result of total surrender now will have no part in his kingdom later (2 Timothy 2:12).

Totals surrender means surrendering your will to do the will of the Father of Truth even if it cost your life like total surrender meant for the Man of Truth (Matthew 26:39). You submit to total surrender when you decide to do whatever the Man of Truth wants you to do (Luke 6:46-49).  Total surrender means that you love the Man of Truth more than anyone else or even your own life (Luke 14:26-27).

If you accept total surrender then you will no longer belong to yourself because your life was bought with a price for the Father of Truth (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).   You are giving up control of your time, your money, your relationships and everything else in your life.

You will no longer have an identity as one of the Children of Lies if you submit to total surrender (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). You will have to submit to total surrender of your old identity and acceptance of a new identity (2 Corinthians 5:17)  The Man of Truth will be living out his life through you because you have died to your old life (Galatians 2:20).

You will have a new religion if you submit to total surrender.  You may already be going to a congregation where you think that the religious leaders know the Father of Truth but that does not mean that you have the same religion as them or that they have submitted in total surrender to the Man of Truth.  If you submit in total surrender and they have not then you will not have the same religion that they do.  If that is the case then eventually these religious leaders will persecute you and drive you from the place of worship that you might have attended for a long time (John 16:1-3).

In short total surrender will mean an end of your old way of life and the beginning of a new way of life.

You cannot submit to total surrender in your own strength. You can only submit to total surrender when you love the Man of Truth (John 14:15).  You cannot submit to total surrender until you realize that the Father of Truth loved you so much when you were still in rebellion that He sent His son to die for your sins (Romans 5:8).  You cannot submit to total surrender without the Spirit of Truth coming to live in you to help you do so (Romans 8:8-10).   The love for the Man of Truth that prompts you to total surrender comes from realizing the love that he first had for you (1 John 4:19).

No one can force you to come into the House of Truth.  You cannot come into the House of Truth by observing certain holidays or keeping certain customs.  You cannot come into the House of Truth by simply being born to parents that are in the House of Truth. You cannot come into the House of Truth by attending a congregation with the Children of Truth.  You must decide to come into the House of Truth for yourself.

You can only come into the House of Truth by submitting in total surrender to the Man of Truth (Matthew 7:21).  You must be born again to come into the House of Truth (John 3:3).  You must repent because you are truly sorry for rebelling against the Father of Truth (2 Corinthians 7:10).  This is what it means to come into the House of Truth.

You come into the House of Truth when you decide to submit to the Man of Truth in total surrender because you believe that the Father of Truth raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9-12).
